One of our favorite STAPLES and go to comfort meals. We live in NYC and come to brea to visit family often and no trip is complete without a stop at Pho Ha. Nothing back home compares. Really delicious good quality Vietnamese food.
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine offering very tasty pho soups and vermicelli pasta noodles at reasonable prices. The tables are clean and management is friendly and their service is good. The parking is plentiful located in Brea at the Imperial Highway exit off the 57 freeway.
I decided to try this place out yesterday while my dog was at the groomers (shout out Judy's Pet Grooming!) and I found my new favorite spot for veggie pho! The staff was sweet, the service was quick, the atmosphere was nice and the veggie pho was top notch! it wasn't just a bunch of cabbage and onion like you get at other places. There was a solid amount of mushrooms, broccoli and carrots, plus baby corn! They top it off with these dried caramelized onions that add a richness you don't get with veggie pho from other places. It was so good I got another order togo for lunch the next day. I just finished that and it was just as good as it was at the restaurant yesterday.
This is my go-to pho spot in Brea! I always get the steak and brisket pho and it never disappoints! My coworkers and I come here for lunch all the time and they love the bbq pork dish. Everytime we dine in Darren is always there greeting us with a smile, great service every time! Their Vietnamese coffee is also awesome!
First time here. The man in the front is very welcoming and attentive. Helped us to a seat and some water and took our order right away. Our food was fresh and steaming hot.
My friend ordered the fried chicken with rice and I ordered the vermicelli noodles with grilled beef steak, and onions. The food was very good, the service was a bit slow but attentive. The atmosphere was a bit tight but also cold.
One of the few pho spots we repeatedly go to. Nice broth and great service for kids. They provide small bowl and scissors to cut up the pho. Def recommend if you’re in the area.
Pho Ha: Where the Soup Speaks Louder Than the Service If you’re looking for warm hospitality, friendly service, and a staff that showers you with compliments—well, keep looking. But if you want a bowl of pho so good it makes you forget that the waiter just grunted at you, Pho Ha is your place. We ordered the #16 pho with rare steak, and let me tell you, that broth was basically a warm hug for our souls. It came with the perfect lineup of mix-ins—bean sprouts, mint leaves, jalapeños, and a fresh lime to squeeze in, plus all the hoisin, Sriracha, and chili paste you need to turn your bowl into a personal spice experiment. The rare steak was tender, the noodles were on point, and the whole thing was the kind of meal that makes you forgive all sins—including the complete lack of customer service. We also got an order of spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and tasty, though we had to remind ourselves that dipping them in the pho would probably be frowned upon (not that anyone here would care). Now, a heads-up: Their credit card machine was down, so thankfully, we had cash. If we hadn’t, we might’ve been washing dishes in the back—assuming they even let us. The restaurant was busy, but the food came out fast, steaming, and consistently delicious. Bottom line? If you’re willing to trade warm smiles for warm soup, Pho Ha is totally worth it. Just bring cash, and maybe lower your expectations for human interaction.
Best Pho in OC! Been eating here for 10 years and quality is still there!
Legit Vietnam taste serving is good and delicious. I will definitely go back to this restaurant
Good spring rolls good pho you must customize your own for your flavor and spice level.
We got the Chicken Pho and the BBQ Chicken vermicelli and immediately fell in love. The food is absolutely delicious at an amazing price. Dont forget to get yourself a thai tea with Boba. 5 star grub spot
Delicious pho. The fried rice was good too (I had better one). The service was good and fast. I recommend this place.
Fav pho! After trying all of them in Rowland and walnut. This is our fav. We come at least once a week.

Great local pho spot in Brea with excellent flavors. The eggs rolls and #16 rare steak are our go-tos. The Soda Chanh is another favorite. The place isn't overly large and can get crowded at times, but the food is worth it. Service is usually pretty fair, but have been a few times of late they were less than attentive. It's not usually an issue until it's time to go and you're waiting for your check. With little ones when it's time to go, we need to GO. Otherwise, thisis where we enjoy going when we want good hot soup Ina cold day. Or really any day for that matter.
The pho was really good. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had but it’s not bad either. The broth was really good, really rich. We also got the tofu spring rolls, they were ok, minimal ingredients inside: tofu, lettuce, vermicelli noodles and I think bean sprouts. I usually like more things like mint, cucumber and carrots for texture and flavor. I honestly think I make better spring rolls and peanut sauce so if I went back, I’d skip the spring rolls.
Loved the food, my family enjoyed theirs as well. But the portion size of wonton egg noodle soup was smaller than the other bowls came out
The atmosphere is good here, I ordered the chicken pho. The down side is they only have dark meat so I ordered it. It was good very flavorful. Service was fine and prices are reasonable. The thai tea was delicious!
Pho Ha in Brea offers a delicious and satisfying experience of Vietnamese cuisine. The pho soup was truly flavorful and high-quality — with an authentic and comforting taste. The beef rolls were also very tasty and well-prepared. The restaurant environment is clean and pleasant, and the staff were polite, friendly, and professional. The service was good, although it took a bit of time for the food to arrive. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the relatively high price of the pho compared to similar restaurants. While the food quality is excellent, I expected the pricing to be a bit more reasonable. That said, the overall experience was good, and I’d likely return again.
The Pho here are very delicious. The broth is rich, and the quality of the meat used is excellent. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is clean, but there is an unpleasant smell coming from the restroom.
Vietnamese restaurant in Brea that serves exceptional pho. Their pho broth is truly delightful, and the portion sizes are just right.
Good soup base, not salty and beef was tender not chewy.. #40 pork rib was very tender. Pull off the bone. Place was full at lunch. That's a good thing. Will come back!!

This is our default Pho place. Food is always good. Decent prices. Friendly service- I like the fact that the owners are usually present.
Very authentic & delicious Vietnamese food. Not Americanized. The broth was very tasty & comforting to the soul. Decent mixed service.

I was recently disappointed by this establishment. I have been coming off and on for the past six years. I Distinctly ordered my meal without onions, yet it still came with them. Most certain these establishments owned by these type of individuals do that to keep bulk. They are cheap so they don’t want to eliminate the onion to provide a more balanced meat. Instead of correcting the mistake, the employee begged me to “just pick them out myself” I’m known to have a minor skin allergy to onions. They need to be more careful or they’ll have a lawsuit on their hands one day should it affect the wrong person. That’s unacceptable. I work for the Better Business Bureau in external relations and will be noting the establishments customer service. This kind of disregard for customers is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
Food taste is consistently good. However, Customer Service is sometimes very no good. Dont get me wrong. Owner (Mr) is very hard worker, I can see that. I like this place but i am gonna give critical review for more better service and for more bright future of the restaurant. I am not looking for great service. I am looking for avg services. No water refills nor table check for what customer needs, after finished my meal I waited at least 10 mins to get a check, and i go to the counter. If it was busy, i get it but so far my experience of restaurant industry. (Today wasn’t.) I aint cheap and I usually give average tip but today i paid no tip. Because my money is hard earned by me. I can’t give someone just like Joe Biden give money on Ukraine. Hopefully it’s better next time. I recommend all foods on here. Vietnamness coffee is super strong, if you sensitive. I do not recommend. If you need boost from tired life, I recommend.
Good food. Menu well explained with pictures, including the types of meats in the pho. Service was good, but it seems as if they get directions from management to discourage costumers towards closing time. We got there and some seem kind of surprised and looked at us as an uninvited guess or something. It was about an hour before closing, even though the closing time was peeled off the door. Another family that came in half an hour before closing was allowed to sit by greeter, but a manager type of lady came out to let them know they close in half hour without being clear about what that would mean at that time. They got up and left and no efforts were made to avoid that.
This is one of those Viet restaurant that has to tone down the flavor to cater to non-Viet people and overcharge. If you're white, non-Viet in general, you might like it... Other than that, food is mediocre to me

A decent spot for traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The food was okay, the soup was okay, but a bit more fatty than what I'm used to. The service was okay, but they gave us the wrong order and served it to the wrong table. But that was quickly corrected. There was a sour smell that lingered from the table and dishes. Not sure if that's from the sanitizer or the cleaning chemicals they use. Overall, it was an ok place, I'll give it another try on a later date.
Didn't wait to get seated. Bus person gave me water then food server took it away. Went to wash hands in bathroom saw vomit in toilet. Food was very good

Food is great, made multiple stops here for lunch. Only downside is the service, sometimes is good and sometimes the complete opposite. This visit I asked for water to start, server said okay and walked to her chair and went on her phone. Asked second time from the server that took my order, food came and no water. Had to ask three times for water and finally got one. This was at 11am with one other table of three which was already finishing up.
This Vietnamese eatery is a franchise. We enjoyed the nice outdoor patio but the food wasn't that good. The Ox Tail Pho contained meat that was tough and rubbery instead of being soft and tender. The Lemongrass Chicken didn't have any lemongrass in it, lacking the smell and flavor of the actual dish.
As a fan of Pho I decided to check out this place and it was ok, fair menu selection, place is clean with no unisex bathrooms, parking is horrible. Friendly and fast staff.

None of the meat was freshly prepared. BBQ chicken with vermicelli the chicken looked prepared the day before and was very dry. The Beef and rice dish same beef was almost minced to make it spread throughout the dish so as far as volume of meat there was not very much. Dry prepared hours before if not days. Would not go back as a second chance. I would rather wait for freshly cooked food then to be served bland ,dry , and over priced for the quality food. Sorry guys but not a place I would return to maybe if you were only eating PHO.

Too expansive with tex $20 but food is not to much. Looks like small size.
Bad service and bad food. The pho tastes extremely watered down and doesn’t have a deep beef broth taste, most likely using some type of instant substitute.
Horrible experience! Ask for no onion and they still put onion in. Had some questions about the order and asked the staff about it. They were so rude and refused to explain. I kindly tell them that the menu they uploaded online was wrong with wrong prices, they yelled at me about it “ look at the price here, are we all good or no. Look at the price look at the price.” Keep yelling at me for no reason. I was just telling them the price was wrong online. Definitely not coming back and not recommended.
Bad service! Expect tips when waiter and waitress don’t get up and offer help or anything, very lazy environment and you can tell they don’t care about the customers
Servers are not attentive. They bring your order, and that's it.They don't care. They give you check when customers are not even done eating. Phos are decent, not neither good nor bad. I do not recommend this place, please go else where that give you better service and has a better food quality.
If there was a -⭐️ that’s what I will give them. By the time we got there, there were only 2 tables occupied (already eating) we placed our order and 3 more tables came after that. 2 out of those 3 tables got their food first, by the time I got mine, which was 15 min after, the order was wrong! Wasn’t what I ordered (not even close). They “correct” the order and there I am waiting while I see 3 more tables come and get their food. 10 minutes past and the waiter comes and says “the food is coming”. I waited 10 more minutes and no food coming at all so I asked then to bag it to go. 10 more minutes and still no food. Of course while I was waiting more people were coming and getting their food. Really? 50 minutes for fried rice? Unbelievable! Ended up canceling the order.
I used to get a reasonable portion from this place when ordering a #1 for 9$ just a few years ago. Today that same #1 is half the size, didn't have any of the additional ingredients, just rare beef, and cot 16$. I know times are lean but that's too much to spend to be disappointed and hungry when you're done. People there are always very nice.
They close at 9:30, I came in at 8:50. The guy told me that since I didn’t come before 8:45, I could only order food to go… I said I just want to order a soup and will finish it in 10 minutes, but the guy said that people would always say that and stay for a long time. I explained again that I am very hungry and will eat quickly and leave, but it was still an absolute no for him…What’s even more upsetting is that he stared at me like his worst enemy!!! It seemed to him that I came in at night just trying to keep him from going back home. To the restaurant owner: IF YOU SEE YOUR CUSTOMERS AS BURDENS, YOU SHOULD JUST CLOSE THE RESTAURANT AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO STAY AT HOME.
Bad quality control, bad customer service. As i started to eat my pho, I founds a mealworm attached to a piece of broccoli. My husband got up quietly and showed the manager. He denied it was a bug, told us it was nothing, and to continue eating. Grossed out and concerned about the quality of the rest of the veggies, we paid and left. He charged us full price for the food that we did not eat.
Bad service will be the reason I will not return. 1 waiter was very busy and the other girl is very lazy. She’s just listening to music the whole time. My fiancé and I finished our food and have been waiting 20 mins to get the check. Been trying different food in the area and I really didn’t like this place. I’ll continue going to my pho spot because this place is not it. Lazy ppl need to get it together your not at home you’re at work. Pay attention. Currently waiting to now pay the bill and get our to go boxes. The poor waiter is working handicap with her on his team. Food was meh..
So frustrated and disappointed. We came to the restaurant to order to-go today. When we unpacked our order back home, we found that the add-on lean brisket (A6 in the receipt, $14.45) was missing, so I called them and requested a refund. But they refused to do that and insisted they’ve counted the number of item for every takeout order. Apparently there is no lean brisket in my ox tail noodle soup! I even tipped them 15% for this order. Will never come back again.
