Food is good but the place is understaffed and if you need a cashier you might be waiting a long while or they make you use the kiosk which I hate using because it gives me anxiety through the roof. Or you would have to go through the drive-thru since they seem to be only focusing on the drive-thru than anything else. Flies and gnats flying throughout the dining area and bathroom. Bathroom floors (both) covered in liquid and other substances. Plus doors slam shut. What kind of McDonald's, especially one with a playplace, has no baby changing table? Hot, very hot inside. Tables are not cleaned. I had to find spray and wipe a table. The floor under the tables are wet with lots of leftover food. Trash bins are overflowing onto the ground and surrounding areas. Extremely slow service both inside and drive-thru. Soggy unsalted fries. Wrong apple slices for Happy Meal. Wrong sandwiches. Never called out my order number, the food was just sitting there on the counter. Tried to eat-in for playplace but had to leave the disgusting, hot, bug invested #$%^& to eat in car and kids were disappointed not being able to enjoy the playplace. Absolute worst upkept McDonald's, nay food establishment, ever.

I went too this McDonald's around 7pm and honestly im really disappointed we stand there too order for 10 minutes and it was not busy .. the manager was there and just looking at us but didn't ask us if we been help yet,So this young lady came and took or order and she looked like she was annoying! So when they called or number too pick up the food the lady gave him a attitude plus the food wasn't ready yet so he waited. All I can say is that it was a bad customer service starting with the manager!!!!

Make sure you check your bag and be prepared to drive up there if you get delivery cause they have a hard time putting food in your bag that you purchased. No accountability here ever.

If you ever read good reviews about this place, I recommend you DO NOT TRUST THEM because most of them aren’t real. I work in Castro Valley, so I’ve gone to this McDonald’s several times for breakfast. One day, one of the workers came up to me and asked if they could use my phone to leave a good review for the restaurant, and in exchange, I would get a free sandwich. Please, people, don’t let yourselves be bought!!! It’s important that these restaurants have REAL reviews! It’s extremely inappropriate for a stranger to ask to use your phone, especially to write a good review of their own store. I find that unethical, and I believe the people in charge should look into it. So to anyone visiting this place, be cautious or at least don’t eat inside if you don’t want to be interrupted by a worker sent by their manager to ask for your phone to write FAKE REVIEWS!

Well, sigh. Let's be clear no one expects fantastic food from fast food but this one location is only minutes from the Hospital I was visiting. They ruined the entire order. I ordered 3 items. The Stake Bagel was heared as and changed to Sausage Bagel. Yikes. The Deluxe Breakfast platter with hash browns was a complete wrecked order. It had the 3 pancakes and a Sausage mcmuffin as the sides. It was supposed be scrabble eggs, a English muffin a Sausage paddy and hash browns. Nope, being close enough is not what I paid for. It took a forever long time to get my order. I gave my order, pulled up to the pay window. I waited about 4 minutes before being told to park in parking lot space 4. After paying then waiting 15 more minutes I went inside to grab my order. 5 more minutes waiting inside. During the 5 minutes inside I saw a micro micro manager constantly shouting conflicting commands to the workers. The tall guy told the food runners to run the cash registers, the cashier to work the window the packers to run food out to the parking lot. I believe the micro micro management is the reason my food was wrong and delayed. I recommend passing up on this location.

Service is garbage. I ordered 2 mcdoubles with creamy chili sauce but they were out of the sauce. They didn't decide to tell me before I left. Lucky I checked the bag before leaving the parking lot. Told me they can replace the sauce with a different one. I paid for the sauce so it should have been replaced before it was given to me.

I recently visited McDonald's to try new chicken BigMac and was deeply disappointed with the quality of the food, particularly the fried items. It’s evident that they don’t regularly change the oil in which the food is fried. As a result, the chicken patty was not only darker than usual but also had a bitter taste. This is not only unpleasant but also a serious health concern. Reusing oil for extended periods can produce harmful compounds, including carcinogens, which are linked to an increased risk of cancer. McDonald's should take better care of their customers by ensuring the oil is changed regularly to provide fresh, safe, and healthier meals.

Over half of our mobile order was done incorrectly we ordered two Mcchickens and got two cheeseburgers. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but, my husband is Indian and can’t eat beef. We are both tired because I am 29 weeks pregnant and we just wanted an easy dinner. It turned into a nightmare because my husband wasn’t able to eat because the order was messed up. We already got home when we noticed the mistake and felt super hungry and were not able to go back . It was already almost 8 o clock and a hot day so we didn’t want to have to drive all the way back for two sandwiches. I normally come here and don’t have any problems .

Bread burnt, chicken not fully cooked, mayonnaise squirted on one side, on the outside of the bread, looks like it was frisbee’d into the box from across the kitchen. Not expecting 5-star service, but goodness, I remember why I stopped going to McDonalds for 10 years. I’ve worked at MD so I know how hectic it can get during rushes and things get messy, but I was literally the only car in line, so can’t even use that excuse to just slop this #4 Salmonella Deluxe into a box and call it good. 🤷‍♂️ Provided an unforgettable experience at least.
