I enjoy Starbucks coffee, so I go quite a bit. But this isn't just about the coffee. The owner of this Starbucks is Blessed to have such an amazing staff, to include Gerry who helped me on the phone when I called because I messed up and was going to miss an appointment,so I couldnt pick up my order. I called and explained my situation and was bummed because I thought I would lose the stars that I used, and we all know how precious those are .He said, "Don't worry, we've got you come when you can, and we will make it for you again."I want everyone to know what a great Starbucks this! You need to make sure that you visit them and get your Starbucks there. You won't be disappointed. Tell them you we're sent by me the lady who talked to Gerry on the phone and he made her day! Maybe I'll see you there because that is now my go to Starbucks!

W Eats ⛽️🔥. Pricey but worth it. They have a nice parking lot across the street. Gets super busy at the intersection of beverly and rampart so it’s a nice option to park and walk for a bit. Homeless lady threw a mysterious black cylindrical object towards my party and I. We promptly exited the area.

It had been many years since I was at the iconic Tommy's, but while in LA had to go there. The most impressive part is the quickness of the food being prepared and ready. The triple chili burger was tasty but I liked the tamale with cheese even better. Truly enjoyable and hope to be back soon.

I’ve been coming here for 45 years Tommy’s burger is the original always on point tasty it was worth a 60 mile drive from Riverside. Haven’t been there in years to the original spot. We used to hang out as kids brings back. Good memories then the food is still good. The prices have changed, but it is 2025 now.

I visited the first Original Tommy’s on Beverly & Rampart, and it was such a cool experience. This spot has been around since 1946, serving their famous chili burgers and fries. You can really feel the history when you’re here it’s an LA landmark! The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the service was fast. Definitely worth stopping by if you want to try a true SoCal classic.

Classic Tommy's in downtown Beverly and rampant location.. I waited in a line at the original stand on the corner .. I liked the old days where soda came of out a cooler and no fries back then but chips but times have changed still being there took me back to a time where there wasn't all the locations as there are now and you had to journey to get the taste that is the original Tommy's

I have fond memories about this place, been coming here since around 2004... The chili burgers and fries are delicious and it the history and hype that this venue has is well deserved. Wether you are hungry at night and decide to grab a late night burger or coming with friends this is a must stop when you visit Los Angeles. Service is a little lacking but I understand that its probably the amount of people they get.

Los Angeles and Southern California is the origin for a lot of iconic fast food chains. Some of them are destined to make it global while others flourish locally. One of the powerhouse local chains is Original Tommy's and the location at Beverly and Rampart is the first of their 32 locations throughout Los Angeles (and a few in Las Vegas). The original Original Tommy's sits on a sprawling corner lot with an overflow parking lot right next door so parking is quite easy. While lots of LA shuts down at night, Original Tommy's remains a 24 hour destination. They have a broad but simple menu which includes breakfast items (I hear their breakfast burrito is a great option). They do not have traditional seating. Instead, they have a variety of counters you can post up at to enjoy your meal. When I go, I focus on the chili cheeseburger. The one I had on this visit was a glorious, chili and cheese packed messy hamburger and I wouldn't want it any other way. The chili is filling and has a great, thick, meaty texture. The cheese can't help but melt everywhere and adds a rich, creamy flavor. The burger patties are well cooked. I love the thick slice tomato that sits on top, adding a cool crunch to the burger. Since chili is their staple and what makes them unique, I also got it on the fries. The fries are thick cut and when loaded up with a very generous serving of chili, it makes a great snack. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I had my order within minutes of placing it and I enjoyed it fresh and piping hot, standing at one of their counters. If you have been in LA a while and haven't had Original Tommy's, you really should check them out. They have been serving LA for a long time for a very good reason!

A classic in LA since 1946. I have been to Tommy’s many times and it’s always consistently really good. I honestly think they have some of the best veggies of any of the burger chains. Their tomato is always extremely fresh and snappy. They are most famous for their chili, which is honestly great, but everything else is really good as well. This location does not have a drive-through but they have multiple parking lots so parking is really easy. It’s to-go only, but many choose to eat in the standing room only area near where you pick up the food. They do not have tables inside. The prices are very fair and service is very fast so it really is a really convenient option. Today I chose to do the Triple Chili Burger and a side of Chili Fries. They both really hit the spot and I definitely was not hungry after finishing them. I love how they put mustard on their burgers and every time I go to Tommy’s it’s always consistently good and makes me want to stop in more often. I would recommend and would say it’s one of the better burger chains in Los Angeles.

My Smores frappaccino was actually really delicious. The service was a little slow because they were understaffed in my opinion. There were only 2 people working behind the counter. Overall, this is a nice location and ultimately I'd recommend it.

Busy as always. They do a good job of service considering the large volume of pre orders they take. This location is a grand central station for its size. Starbucks should consider a larger store in this location. Unbelievable how much Starbucks coffee is pushed daily in SoCal. Amazing! Amazing!

After living down the street from a Tommy's in Vegas for 10 years, people always told me it's better in LA. Not in my opinion it's not. It tastes exactly the same. We went for breakfast. My wife got the burrito and I got the breakfast sandwich, my favorite item on the Tommy's menu. I'm aware that Tommy's is supposed to be messy, but dang. I don't think I've ever seen a sloppier assembly on one of those breakfast sandwiches. It completely fell apart as I tried to eat it. Still tasted good, though! Above all, it was incredibly cool to get to see and eat at the iconic location of the first Tommy's, truly a landmark both of LA, and of burger history and culture in general. Just don't expect it to taste any different if you're used to going to a different location.

I went here because family ranted and raved about how awesome this place was that it was 24 seven outdoor dining that this place was the best thing sliced hotdog buns. I ordered almost $70 worth of food and was not impressed at all. The chili taste like it came out of a can the chili dogs because I ordered multiple tasted rubbery and they’re famous chili burger left a lot to be desired the chili cheese fries were OK that’s why I gave them a three I was gonna give them one stars all the way across Because the food was just not that good. Maybe I’m spoiled because I live in Chicago where they actually make good hotdog and good chili when I visit to LA, I’m not always thrilled about the food. So for my order. I got two chili cheese dogs w fries and medium drink; an order of chili cheese fries another chili cheese dog with only chili and cheese then an addition I got two double chili cheeseburgers promo’s which is probably the only good thing that this restaurant offers is a promotional for double chili cheeseburgers. They don’t offer a military discount.

We stopped by Original Tommy’s late one evening after arriving at LAX, and it was nice to see it still bustling with customers and delivery drivers at midnight – a real testament to how iconic and long-standing this place is. The chili burgers were good, as were the fries, but honestly, nothing about the experience stood out as amazing enough to make us want to visit again. Unfortunately, the staff weren’t the friendliest. Even though there was no line when we decided what we wanted to order, they ignored us for a good couple of minutes without greeting us, which didn’t set the best tone. It’s a solid spot for a late-night bite, but there’s nothing here that will leave you craving a return.

Finally gave Tommy's a try, and I'm not really feeling it personally. I tried out the California double and chili cheese fries and a chili burger. The California burger costs a little more Tham a in and out burger, and it's not better, especially the bread not being toasted and falling apart, the pickles were not crispy at all and where almost white and the sauce was not as savory as the in n out sauce. Then the chili burger was pretty good. The only complaint was again the bun bread quality and the pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes were great and fresh on all burgers. Lastly, the chili cheese fries aren't cheap for the size, and the chili wasn't as good personally speaking. Also, the cheese wasn't melted at all on my girlfriends single California burger. Another miss is not having seating for the customers, but regardless, this isn't a negative review. I just expected more from the hype I heard from Tommy's, so I'd still recommend my friends and family to give them a try!

This is what you get when you ask for “light ice” 😐

We come to this location Monday-Friday, came in this Sunday for a coffee(nothing fancy, just coffee with cream n sugar) and a breakfast Sammy. Waited 20 minutes for my coffee, and that’s only cause I asked! Sammy took another 10 minutes! And that’s also only cause I asked! So total of 30 minutes to get a coffee and a Sammy! Barista was apologetic, but too late, I was already over it, cause the girl at the front did nothing when I first asked, just simply said, coffee is brewing! 2 stars cause I always had great service!

We just left this Starbucks by our house that we always go to and I am honestly in complete shock by the way we were just treated. My husband got a tall mocha and our name was called so I went to grab if off the counter and noticed it was super light. Like it was only half way full. It comes with whipped cream so we knew it would be a little lighter but it was way less than what you would expect. We normally don’t say anything but I told my husband we should just ask if they can remake it. He asked and the barista immediately got defensive saying that the order had been sitting there for a while and that it was just bc the foam was melting. I tried explaining that it hadn’t been sitting there for a while that we literally just got called but she kept talking over us. She finally realized it was the wrong order but by then my husband and I were honestly just standing there kind of dumbfounded in the way she had been speaking to us and she goes “are you waiting for a food order or something??” We were like no we are honestly just shocked at the way you’re treating us right now. Again, we are NEVER the type of people to ask for a manager but we were in disbelief and did. The “lead” on duty was standing right there and literally defended her saying that from what he could tell she was just explaining. Mind you he was saying it in a snarky way too. Honestly all we wanted from the get go was to just get it remade so that my husband actually had a full coffee to drink and instead we got talked to completely awfully and left with his half full coffee. Even if she had just apologized for mistaking our order for another one that would have made the situation so much better. I’ve never been treated like that by a customer service person before nor would I ever treat someone like that… Her name was Natalie. Didn’t get the leads name unfortunately, but we would appreciate an apology… Still waiting for a response to our Starbucks case and an apology. We don’t even feel comfortable going to our local Starbucks anymore.

I arrived at Starbucks at 9:58am. The gentleman who to my order was very nice, even told a few jokes. After he took my order I stood to the side and waited. After about 5 min goes by I notice that it was getting really busy and they looked under staff. There where only two people working. One employee was handling the mobile orders and the gentleman was working the register. I waited patiently because I did understand that the mobile orders come first. However I did notice that the people in line way after me ordering from the register . They received there orders shortly after ordering. At this time it's about 10:12am. So I smile at the employee who was handling the mobile orders hoping that they would notice that I've been standing there for about 15 mins. I see a woman place her order at the register and 3 mins later receive her breakfast sandwich and coffee. I get back in line to attempt to get a refund but by this time it's 10:23am. I just peak my head over the counter to let them know I will be back for a refund but I can no longer wait because of an appointment. I wish I had a better experience. But I believe they should have paid more attention and that they where under staff.

The girl working at the drive thru told me I had to pick a phone order from inside and not the drive thru. I’ve never had a problem like this before, if I’m at the window already they can easily have given it to me. I definitely won’t be coming back here nor recommending anyone to Starbucks. All it takes is one bad experience for an employee to ruin good business.

For once I wanted to try something new. The caliente burger , and they got my order wrong. CHARGE ME for a regular burger, all because the old lady cook flirting with the old man cashier. Worse costumer service. I been coming here since I was 10 years old. It’s been 20 years of my loyalty. But I’m done. They’ll lost me. If they put more effort into making sure the order is done correctly instead of flirting. Maybe they would get it right.
