Avis sur Taco Joint Dallas
Bring friends. Great bfast tacos. The jalapeños ranch sauce (10/10) I ordered sausage, chorizo, potatoes and bacon, egg and cheese tacos. Sausage was my favorite
Awesome service! I got two trays of breakfast tacos for work, and one of the employees even carried them out to my car. The tacos were so good, and my coworkers loved them!
The girls inside were super nice and that spicy red salsa is no joke. Absolutely amazing.
Visiting from Seabrook Texas. Stumbled across this place walking this morning and I'm glad we did. Hands down best breakfast I've ever had. Service was perfect and the atmosphere was fun with hundreds of album covers on the ceiling. We'll definitely be back during our next visit to Dallas. Go Texans
We wanted BEEF enchiladas at 7 in the morning and anyone else that was opened only served chicken and I wasn't having it. I called and the lady answered the phone so quick and sweet. I asked her if they had beef and she was like yeah, we ordered picked it up and were happy with our plates!!! Nice environment
If you are ever in the mood for a good taco, I highly recommend “There Taco Joint”! I’m currently sitting here after eating writing this review. I didn’t want to take a chance on forgetting to do it. I ordered 2 tacos but I was full after eating half of one. Mainly because the sample of queso and chip I was given was so good as well. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Service was excellent. I told them this was my first time here so the cashier was very helpful with suggestions based on what I like. The atmosphere is super cool! Very clean restaurant. The picture wall gave it a special feel. I love the retro style seats. Overall I give them a 10/10. I recommend “The Taco Joint” for your next outing.
Probably one of the more reasonably priced places to eat in this area of Dallas and with adequate parking as well. We had breakfast and it was very tasty. The chorizo had excellent taste and texture. Do yourself a favor if you get the beans and potatoes- mix in some of their jalapeño ranch or tamatillo sauce. They don’t try to be some hipster taco place, just good food of substance at reasonable prices. Service and speed were on par.
We got some tacos to go from this place and really enjoyed them. We got the bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese, and a brisket egg and cheese. The bacon and sausage breakfast tacos were standout. The tacos were simple and nothing complex but made at a very high level. We will definitely come back here when craving breakfast tacos.
You can never go wrong with the brisket tacos. These life changing treats are like angels singing in your mouth. The house jalapeno ranch has a slight sweetness that really kicks off the corn tortillas. Also, the beans & rice are the thing of legend.
The food is very tasty. The sauces are a bit too acidic for my taste. The beef tacos were good, but they use ground beef rather beef strips.
Lots of veggie options (the beans are safe)!! Not the best neighborhood, so I figured the food would be meh at best with probably few options for a vegetarian. I was completely wrong! It’s not fine dining. But, the food is pretty good and the staff is awesome! For $10, you get more than enough to eat. Even the coffee was good (strong). Plus, veterans get a 10% discount.
Taco Joint Review Taco Joint is a local counter-serve chain in Dallas, Texas, offering Tex-Mex favorites, including breakfast options, in a casual space. I recently had the opportunity to try their spicy pork taco and spicy fried chicken taco, and I was impressed with both. The spicy pork taco had a generous portion of tender, flavorful pork that was perfectly seasoned. The heat level was just right, adding a nice kick without being overwhelming. The taco was topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and the house-made jalapeño ranch dressing was a delicious addition. The spicy fried chicken taco was also excellent. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the breading was perfectly seasoned. Again, the heat level was just right, and the taco was topped with the same fresh toppings and delicious jalapeño ranch dressing. I was very pleased with the quality and taste of both tacos. The tortillas were fresh and flavorful, and the fillings were generous and delicious. I also appreciated that the jalapeño ranch dressing was house-made, as it added a unique and flavorful touch to the tacos. My only complaint about Taco Joint is the price. Most tacos cost around $4 each, which is on the expensive side for tacos. However, I think the price is justified given the quality and taste of the food. Overall, I had a great experience at Taco Joint. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend Taco Joint to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Tex-Mex experience. Here is a more detailed breakdown of my experience: Food: 5/5 The food at Taco Joint is excellent. I ordered my food at the counter and received it quickly. The staff was also helpful and answered any questions I had about the menu. Atmosphere: 4/5 The atmosphere at Taco Joint is casual and inviting. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable dining alone, but I think Taco Joint would also be a great place to come with friends or family. Value: 3/5 The food at Taco Joint is delicious, but it is also on the expensive side. Most tacos cost around $4 each, which is more than some other taco restaurants. However, I think the price is justified given the quality and taste of the food. Overall: 4/5 Overall, I had a great experience at Taco Joint. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend Taco Joint to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Tex-Mex experience.
I was so not feeling tacos today. 😩 but my friend wanted tacos. I'm an open minded cat and i love trying new food spots in my city so 🤷 I went along for the ride. The taco joint seems like a place to enjoy a nice sit down meal during the early hours of the week day. Yet, I can tell that it's the type of place to come alive during the weekends. The taste of the food is great. The in house plate presentation seems to be on point. Yet, as for the to go presentation. I feel They could put more income into more doable more doorbell to the packaging. The salad bar could also use sliced lemons, sliced limes, Pico, Guacamole, sour cream. Yet the design, atmosphere, food and service are over all pretty good. #chefdontaedadon
The food was ok but the service stinks. The lady who worked the counter today must was having a bad day or something. Twice I almost left but my daughter really likes their cheese dip. I have allergies so I was just trying to make sure no tomatoes would be on the quesadilla. I have had better service at other Taco Joint. I had to change my review because upon opening my food. The quesadilla I ordered was not meat and cheese only but meat, cheese, and pico. I specifically asked for shrimp and cheese only. This place cost too much money for thie type of service. Next going to Inwood
Placed a to go order for four chorizo and egg tacos, and I was a bit disappointed. It seems as though the chorizo is cooked by itself and not with the egg, so when it's put together, half of the taco was all egg, and the other half was the chorizo. Instead of it being incorporated together. The plus side is the tacos were filled and weren't small like most places like to try to get away with. Overall, this was our first time trying this place and will not be returning.
It is super mid. I was looking for a place with taco plates, where you didn't have to purchase sides separately. They have that here, but idk it just wasn't very good. The rice and beans aren't great either. The churros? Oily, not good. Not crispy. This was our anniversary dinner. Wish it was better. :(
Definitely not a real Mexican restaurant. I should've just went to La Banqueta where I normally go but I wanted to try something new. If your looking for Mexican tacos this is not the place. Their customer service was low key rude too probably because of my skin color. If I were a different color it would've been different anyways enough said I won't be back there no more.
I have another incorrect order. This time it was not anything close to what I ordered. I requested and have receipt to prove that the cashier rung it up correctly. One full order of ground sirlion nachos. And I got a beef quesdilla. And when I try and call to bring it to their attention. The line has been busy for over 30 minutes. If not longer. I ordered at 5:20 pm today. And it's now 7:20 pm. And the line is still getting a busy signal. This is totally ridiculous!! I have never had any issues with the food since I’ve been going there for over 3 years. I called to express my experience with today’s order. Although the staff was very polite in explaining why it was that way. I was told that because of the sauce it made the tortilla soggy. I’m good with the explanation. But there was no consideration in asking if I would like to replace it with something else? Where has customer satisfaction gone to? You’ve gotten my money clearly for something that I cannot eat. Never had that problem before with the same order. Why now?
