It is a fun atmosphere to hang out and watch sports. No matter where you look, there is a TV to watch. I love how they have put their twist on border favorites on the menu.

Great service. I do not eat meat and the server was able to give me options that are friendly to my eating restrictions. She was very accommodating. The cucumbers with tajin were fresh. All of the food was rich in flavor.

This spot is one of my absolute favorites. It's a little far from where I live so I don't go often however it's always a good experience. The food is worth the drive; I usually only get one of the specialty tacos. La Jolla tacos are my favorite combined with the elote side. Just typing this has me craving some right now; yes it's that good! I believe the prices have increased over the years but in today's inflation and poor economy who can blame them? If you have some extra coins this place doesn't disappoint and the staff are always friendly.

Emma was absolutely great, making sure we had everything we needed! Everyone was doing something even the manager was going around, making sure everyone was having a great time. The food was amazing. I had some great queso while there. If you have kids, their kids' meals are some of the best priced anywhere. I can not wait to go back and try more of the menu!

What a chill and welcoming place. On a Saturday afternoon we were welcomed and with our dog we had great people to talk to including our server, Claudia, who was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is what you would expect, it's a bar, loud music, it was a Friday night, they were busy took about 15 minutes to get served but when we did the drinks and food were out within 10 minutes, I ordered an appetizer of Ahi Tuna and Shrimp Ceviche and for the main the Los Pollo Hermanos Tacos combo with Margarita Fries. Pros and cons; the food is so good and the music is nice to listen to and there's different sports shows on large TVs all over the place, some just go for the scantily clad women I go for the food personally. Cons the location is off in a corner off Gateway Boulevard West can make it difficult to get to with traffic and whatnot, music is sometimes too loud for the waitresses and even yourselves to hear what you're saying, might need adjusting. Overall it's a 5 star from me, the food is great, I understand when a place is busy, I actually was enjoying the food so much I bit into my first taco before taking the picture haha! I definitely recommend anyone try the delicious food of this restaurant. They have many great deals daily, and if you're a drinker, there's many options for that as well, drink responsibly and enjoy!

We love Cabo Joe's! Traveling through El Paso, we try to stay near there so we can pop in for a few end of driving day drinks and sample their menu. Always great friendly service and excellent prices. Lots of tvs to catch any sports that happen to be on as well.

Our server was good and attentive. Drinks and food served relatively quickly. Not very family friendly does have a bar atmosphere. There is a kids menu if you ask the server will tell you what they have. There is no physical kids menu.

Recently ate here in the afternoon. It was my first time at this location. I had been to a different location in the past when they were know as Average Joes if I remember the name. The atmosphere here was alright and the food was decent. The waitress was really nice and not pushy at all. I didn’t have anything to complain about. I might stop by again next time if I have time.

Never been here before, walked in just looking a beer and some lunch. Definitely not the atmosphere that I prefer but the tacos were delicious (it's the sauces), very friendly and attentive staff and all around pleasant experience. Will return.

It was fun. Looking for a good spot to eat, I noticed an outdoor patio as we were driving by Cabo Joe's. The established is cool and most definitely tailored for the young, single, bachelor man, (or woman) looking for a good time. It's a sports bar with the male in mind. The place has a TV in every direction, 2 or 3 island bars, and plenty of sitting room for everyone. Some other things I noticed was an arcade room? Maybe not, but for sure there was a Boxing game of sorts, a great outdoor patio, (also plenty of seats) and even a "kids area"? Maybe not, but it was somewhat separated from the main area. The service not so great, to be fair, we ended up there on a Pay-Per-View fight night, so the place was packed. The beer was cold, the food was good, (took a minute) and place was jumping. The one thing that was missing was the MUSIC. How can the bar not be playing any music? That's just weird. Again, to be fair, everyone was glued to the fight on the TVs, but can't we do both? It felt strange, like if we were all in one giant living room, so mind your manners. I did notice a big, bright, beaconing jukebox (Are we still calling them that?) but I dared NOT. I wasn't sure that was such a good idea. What do you think? I didn't know if it would be politically correct, so I didn't.

We moved to the bar section and still there another 10 minutes waiting to be aknowledged. The waitress there was going around all the people around us but us. I can only say that my favorite food is the Asda burrito 🌯. It really sucks when you repeatedly ask for extra guacamole sauce with your take out order, and they don't even give you any at all. 🤦🏾‍♂️😫. Just know I won't be tipping $12 on my next visit.

Food is not appetizing, wasnt satisfied with the fish tacos and tried to order something else. Got the nachos and they were so cold. Paid for all the food even though we didnt touch it. 🤢🤢🤢 I gave it another chance but unfortunately same experience. The carne asada on top was not cooked well. Nachos had beans, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños but everything was very very scarce the cheese was just on the top of the nachos. To start our waitress was also tending the bar, so she was a little scatter brained. However, she didn't mention the drink specials correctly when we asked (found out from another waitress after we had been there for over an hour), and then served my party stale beer, undercooked chicken, and no refills. We were ready to leave until we went outside and the patio waitress told us about $1 margaritas. She kept the rounds up and the remainder of the food out quickly which made us happy and we transfered our tab over to her instead. I know it's not the waitresses fault for the food being cold and slow and not cooked all the way, but it just added to my initial frustration with her from the start.

BEWARE!!! There is a waitress there that is very hard to miss because of all her tattoos (Cheshire cat on the left side of her neck surrounded by stars that go all the way onto the side of her face. Right side of her neck has her last name that starts with a 'K' surrounded by blue diamonds.) She will change the amount of your tip to more than what it should be on your receipt and put a different amount when she inputs it on the register so she doesn't get caught by her manager which she's friends with anyway. Essentially she steals from her customers that she serves and doesn't care if it's wrong. Once a thief always a thief because she's been fired from her last two jobs for steeling as well. (A tanning salon for telling customers that the card reader was down and that their prices had changed and keeping the customers change after inputting the correct amount on the register. Was fired from a pawn shop she worked at for the same, they actually keep her picture in the back of the pawn shops chain stores because she wasn't just fired but banned for life from them.) So onto the food itself. It's alright but mediocre at best. The atmosphere could have been better seeing as a drunk customer that comes on the regular was allowed to stay and would go from table to table interrupting other customers meals which the staff only found funny when we asked them to make him leave us alone. Save your money and just go to hooters because their food is better and so is the atmosphere and the waitresses aren't a bunch of thieving criminals!

Update so I'm a regular every Tuesday and I ordered the same thing I order all the time. My total was only 13.53. I tipped the waitress cash and she still took it upon herself to add 4 more dollars. So in total she got a 50% tip. I consider that stealing and when I confronted a manager about it he said oh it's just 4 dollars Jesus Christ and still said it could've been my mistake. When in fact I wrote I gave her cash in the bracket that says tip. Anyway this manager was very rude and confrontational he did everything to n his power to make it seem like it was my fault and that I should be fine with it cause it was only 4 dollars I'm sorry but stealing is stealing. Anyways I will not be going back it's unfortunate but I will not be made to be the bad guy or in the wrong. Anyways be aware of your total and keep a receipt with your totals written down on copy cause when it comes to customer service the manager enables these girls and covers for them. Was just at this establishment on a Saturday night not really busy with plenty available staff and was completely ignored by all of them. No one tended to us for over 10 mins and eventually we walked out. We had an empty cup with us that we left on the table when leaving (if no one was gonna even look our way I saw it fit that they could at least do us a favor of throwing it) and we hadn’t even made it a few feet from the table before two waitresses that had been in the area we were sitting in, wiping tables, walked past us to immediately pick it up and wipe down the table. I took that as a sign they were aware we were there and just chose to not interact. Was our first time there and by that experience we will not be back.

Asked for hatch green chile on the side & this is the monstrosity Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich they brought out. The so-called male Manager was bothered and not empathetic whatsoever when we complained about it. The poor customer service waitress also did not apologize for the sandwich and blamed the cook. She was bothered since the start that we asked to wipe down the table. Not returning here again. Horrible spot.

Sat at the bar and both waitresses never offered service. Brought to the attention of a server who went to tell one of the bartenders and still no urgency to serve us. Bar wasn't even full. The goth looking bartender looked miserable , no smile no energy. We walked out. Probably why the place is dead on a friday night.

We ordered a shrimp boil and added one pound of snow crab, plus a shrimp bowl and boneless wings. When the bill came, I was honestly shocked! The shrimp boil was $27, but the snow crab add-on alone was $36. I thought it was a mistake, but the waitress said, “Oh, it’s $36 extra to add snow crab.” For six legs?! That’s crazy and nowhere on the menu is the price listed, so be sure to ask in advance. Also, water is $1.50 per bottle and they don’t have fountain drinks only cans so drinks alone can add up to $15 quickly. The shrimp bowl was also a letdown: very bland, no flavor at all. This was my third visit here, and sadly, the food quality has gone downhill while prices have gone way up. Definitely very disappointing
