We had a great experience at this location! Our food came out within 5 minutes. The food was hot and delicious. All of the employees were super friendly and the service at this location was fantastic!
Glad this place was open late at night. Lots of parking although the drive through was packed at 12am on a Monday morning. I ordered inside and was greeted and served by Nolan, who went above and beyond in taking my order, letting me know about price changes with add ons, and generally good service. He also was willing to brew a fresh pot of coffee for me. I have been to other Whataburgers in the Austin area, and some will not serve coffee late at night. Great experience!
Love me some Whataburger. Today's menu was breakfast with my grandson. Pancakes cooked just right with a tasty sausage patty.

I hadn't had Whataburger in a month of Sundays - my fault not theirs. I'm a sucker for a good burger and a smart girl. It happens this "WAS" the woman I asked to marry me.(She said YES).... I decided on the long forgotten and underutilized WHATABURGER JR. MEAL with extra lettuce and tomatoes - no cheese- and extra mustard, fries and a Coke. She added a Whataburger Shake for like a $1 or something. I was in gratitude for the time alone with the woman I chose to marry, and the person I intentionally and intensely love in a place where there is no space or time. Perhaps that made the flavors more intense. The Buns were lightly toasted, The fries were fresh and the Company was delightful. We sat and talked about family and choices and goals. She was a breath of fresh air and so was the Whataburger. I'll have to get back soon preferably with the Mother of my children - this trip was special.. A Moment made possible by Whataburger.

The staff was friendly, the service was quick AND correct and as always, the burgers were terrific. Whenever I come to Texas from Va., the first two things I get to eat are a Buccees Brisket Sandwich and a What A Burger double. They're worth the drive themselves. Forget the grandkids!

Have been going to this unit in Kyle for over a year. It's like home away from home. The entire staff treats everyone with respect including Seniors! Excellent hangout for Seniors. Service ,food all Excellent. Rachel and Matthew and the lady mgrs. are supper people. Those of you that complain about drive thru, don't be so lazy and go inside.

I am in the category of a senior citizen and a veteran. Needless to say the neglected group from the government. I am new to the social security system and the VA benefits. So I am trying to adjust my lifestyle to the meager change that the government expects me to live on after they exploited the money in the system to their personal use. I have to stretch about 2 weeks pay into 4 weeks of living. I go to various restaurants knowing I will be very close to my limit of spending each day when I order. Towards the end I actually fall short. Case in point today. Usually I may be short change or about a dollar. I placed my order with Sylvia today. I have to give a big shout out and a heart felt thank you to her. My order was more than my funds. But, after adjusting my order (deleting some items) to what I could afford. I managed to still get my order. Sylvia, you are what makes a difference in the future. I personally want to thank you for your unrecognizable to social media and no recognition for what you do in true times of being a hero. Thank you for standing out and standing strong. Thank you Whataburger for the people you employ. It doesn't happen often but this is for me the third time I've needed angels among us. I've been to other locations and just denied completely. I am a true customer for life.

I love Whataburger and the food always hits the spot. However this location is always very busy. If you order food for pickup, don't pick up on time, pick it up maybe 10 minutes after it's ready. I'm not hating on the quality of service and respect the work but they are busy and they are trying. Sure it takes awhile to get my food but they deliver

I wish they would do a little bit better job of keeping the restaurant clean. I feel like every time I go in the tables are dirty. Other than that are really great Whataburger.
I was going through the drive-thru today around 5 (the hottest part of the day, temperature was 106) and Whataburger had some of its employees standing out in the heat (not sure for how long) but I expressed my concern to them, informing them of how dangerous it is to be out in this heat for long. I hope the management reads this and is handling this issue as it's a matter of employee safety. 2 of the employees were in the shade under an umbrella and did have drinks provided to them but the other 2 near the pay window were exposed to the sun (and also had drinks thankfully). Were these young people my kids, I'd have some stronger words for the management but hopefully they weren't made to stand outside for too long. This heat is no joke and heat exhaustion (and worse - heat stroke) are real risks now and can happen suddenly. The service was great though - the food good as usual. Hats off to those young employees for putting up with that. <3
Stopped in for a quick snack, ordered a chocolate milkshake and small fries. Got a vanilla shake and cold fries. Took it back in and got my order corrected. Once I got my order corrected my shake was awesome and the fries hot and fantastic!!
Food is always tasty, service could use help except for a few very diligent employees. It almost seems as if you're bugging some of them because you're there. The drive through takes a bit of time and sometimes the orders don't come out in the manner they were recived. Makes it strange to be trapped in to the lane with your full order while the car in front of you doesn't have their order yet. At least you have fries to snack on...
Great people who work there. The food is sub par. Limp greasy fries from old grease. Burgers that were standing by on the warm grill and served grey. It’s because of the new culture. Change the dang grease daily. Geez

Standard Whataburger. Tables were a bit dirty, bathroom was a bit messy, but overall nothing too bad. Service was great, employees were nice.

I usually don’t have an issue here, but today I ordered the kids meal (listen I can’t eat a full burger every time and I’m not gonna pay extra to waste food). Somehow?? A jalapeño ??? Got into my kids burger?? I like spicy food so it wasn’t an issue for me BUT if I was just a regular child I’m sure I’d be freaking out about some unknown spiciness in my meal. It seems like a quality control issue. Maybe they aren’t separating patties out enough on the grill, or they aren’t cleaning it well. I don’t know.
Place is great, service is always perfect, issue 100% of the time is soda and just how often they never have soda flavors actually stocked in their machines instead of shooting soda water out. I've legit been forced to never get sprite here because 99% of the time I get the soda water, tell them and they give me another cup, and it's STILL soda water telling me that every machine is the same and not being restocked.
When the food is correctly made, it is great! However, I haven't had much luck with this particular location. I can understand going through employee training phases, but I shouldn't have to check my bag before driving off to make sure it is all there.
I'm only hitting this store with 3 stars because the manager did do all that she could with the terrible situation I had. I placed a mobile order at 6 pm, arrived at the scheduled time at 6:45, but... didn't leave the restaurant until 8:45. Yes, you had read that right. But being short-staffed, at the peak of the dinner hours, and the unfortunate events that occurred to keep me for 2 hours, I'm going to give a 3 star review with how the manager reacted to the unfortunate events. If anyone gets anything out of this review, its to keep in mind the current staffing issues everywhere and plan accordingly.
Wanted to try the Spicy Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit today 4/29/22. However they barely put any sauce on it. It was a dry biscuit that fell apart when I bit into it. I added normal honey to finish the sandwich. In the future Whataburger please add more sauce. If you order the spicy or normal Honey Butter I would recommend requesting more sauce on the side.
I come here very often to get my food to go and the experience inside is always bad. I usually go in because the line is always long, and the attitude from the staff is very unprofessional. Multiple times, I have seen one of the managers roll her eyes after customers receive their food. And in addition, after one of the customers left after doing nothing wrong but not hearing the manager yell out her number; the manager went into the back and started bad mouthing the woman to her associates for about ten minutes while I waited for my food. Keep in mind too that she is talking loud enough for me to hear it from the seating area. I know people have bad days as customer service personnel but she is like this every time I come in. And it’s not only her that has a bad attitude, she just has the worst one.
Have come here many times as I live in Kyle. Most of the time the service is fine and the food is good. However, recently I feel that the wait time especially with the drive thru is becoming ridiculous. Was told this last visit to wait in the outside lane of the drive thru and watched several people receive their orders before me in the normal lane even though I ordered first. Same thing applies to another person who was waiting in the outside lane front of me. I only ordered a single meal to myself. No apology for the wait time and hardly any interaction from the employee who came to take my payment and deliver the meal. I understand that there are busy times, but everything appears to be more and more disorganized every time I go.
I used to love Whataburger, but for this location, the burger was tasteless and I would be surprised if it was even a quarter pounder. The fries were more on the chewy side and no flavor, but thank goodness for their spicy ketchup!!! The person who took my order and gave me my food was extremely kind and courteous. This was very late at night and I hadn't eaten all day so I was willing to "splurge" on fast food.
Got there for breakfast around 10:15. Waited at least 20 minutes in the drive thru, and when we finally got our food it came without the condiments we asked for or napkins. They also charged us and gave us a coffee we did not order.
Place an order and waiting 10 minutes for it then just to find out that they can't read the tickets and they can't count so you have to go back around and fix the order just to find out they messed it up for the second time and the manager was helpful in only limited way where the employees need more training or maybe need more school because they can't count even if the computer tells them a correct number
When it's done right it's great which for this location is very rare to get it right. Went through tonight and ordered and asked for fries with no salt. What did we get burnt fries the burger was decent but to not taste dry feels like you have to order a double. We now treat Whataburger as a last resort and when it's late.
Love Whataburger, but this location let me down. Over a 15 min wait for food. Then get home and realize the food is wrong. Should have known because the guy in front of me got the wrong order too. No care for attention, employees were being rude to each other in front of customers. Just avoid this location and go up to Buda. NO ONIONS, full of onions.

This location is constantly a mess. Fries are more often cold than hot and fresh. Every single time they forget extra paid for sauces, like the ranch not the ketchup. This place is constantly busy because they don't keep enough staff on hand for how busy this location gets. Just go to Buda instead it's worth it for the extra 15 minute drive.
Ordered pancakes took 10 minutes and the pancakes were three and a half inches in diameter. Ot was 10:50am and I think I got the bottom of the barrel on the batter they were just to lazy to mix a little more batter Oh the pancakes were very thin along with small. Haven't been to this location in a while. Just had some of the worst fries I've ever had in my life. They had the texture of plastic and the flavor of oil. My BOB was cold too, even though I started eating it before I left the parking lot. The crew didn't check my order for accuracy and tried to send me on my way without double checking.
My Husband and I went and dined in. As we approached the counter our cashier was not welcoming or smiled. Took our order and gave our number and drink cup. We ordered the Jalapeño Whataburger meal with fries and then just The Patty Melt sandwich and a medium order of onion rings. 4:17pm our order was taken and we sat and waited…. waited….. just as my husband got up to go see what the hold up was after 18 min, a manger was coming our way with two tray orders. He took one tray to a table of three and then he came and gave us ours. Onion rings looked like I got the bottom of the barrel and they scraped off what was left and served me and the color on them were not that golden color or crunchy like what they usually are. They were limp and soggy and the color of them were dark. Then my patty melt was not even hot. My husbands burger was not hot either and the buns were cold. His fries were like the only thing that were hot and fresh. We were one of the first to order and then 3 other families had came after us but we were the ones who had to wait for 18 min and then after that everyone else got their orders fast and no one was waiting as long as us. This is the first bad experience I’ve had at a Whataburger.

It’s honestly so disappointing that you can rarely get fresh food and fries at any fast food chain, but Whataburger always takes the lead on giving me what looked like day old fries. It is really sad that the bare minimum of quality food can never be met these days.. I would say you get what you pay for, but fast food isn’t so cheap these days, I don’t want catered service I just want FRESH HOT FOOD.

I usually never do this but it's gotten to the point where I feel necessary. Every time I come to this location, there is ALWAYS something wrong with my order. I either have to go back or call because something is incorrect. I appreciate how kind and helpful the workers are when this happens, but there hasn't been a single time when I've ordered and my order was correct.

We were told to wait by the front for a sweet tea as they just started a batch. After 10 minutes it was past midnight so we just went home. The food we received cold, and tasted stale, and we were missing an order of chicken strips, however they did put the empty box in the bag. So I called 3 times and each time I somehow kept getting “disconnected”. The person answering the phone was rude as well. Finally on the 4th try a woman answered. She wasn’t very nice either, did not seem to care about the stale and cold meal that was supposed to be our dinner, or the missing drink. she did offer a refund for the missing meal, but only if we come to the restaurant. We only ordered 2 items and didn’t make the ordered super complicated. I know it was busy, so we didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes in line, but to have rude service and miss and entire meal and then not even to be refunded unless you go back to the store is absolutely ridiculous. I guess customer service is extinct.

Always take a meal from this branch. But today was the worst experience with it. The fries over-cocked, order takes 30 mnts, soda comes with co2 only no flavor the staff is very bad today march 14th 2024. Managers please take care for those issues
Ordered my food for dine-in. It was about 9:30pm so not too busy. After waiting 20 minutes, which was being way too patient, I asked one of the managers where my food was. She said, "You're the next one up." After five more minutes she starts walking out with a tray of food. Was it mine? Nope. Immediately demanded a refund and walked out the door. Later in the evening, since I was still hungry, I went to a different location. Can you believe it? I got my food in about 2-3 minutes.

Every time I come here, they mess up an order or just totally forget it. The night manager is the absolute worst. The worst part was that the manager threw in a cookie without even talking to me. I'm a diabetic. That was a bad move. Don't recommend it. Go to another location.

I’ve never a bad review in my life but today’s the day. I went to the drive thru got told to go to the outside lane and waited 25 minutes which is not bad for rush hour except that they served around 8 people that came after me that were in the regular lane. When the lady brought my order outside she seemed upset when I told her my onion rings were missing and she got me some and left. Again I would not write all this but I had nothing but time 2 minutes ago.
I ordered a salad for about $10. Only part of the ingredients were there, the apples were gritty, and they forgot my dressing. Not worth it. Then, when I went back to get dressing, a man came in who had gotten the wrong order. They went looking for his and just Threw the other under the counter. Overall, not good.

Disappointed with my recent visit. I specifically ordered extra gravy, and not only was it missing, but they also gave us fewer wings than the meal was supposed to come with. It’s frustrating to pay for something and not get what you ordered. This isn’t the first time either — attention to detail seems to be lacking lately. Not sure I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Came here to pick up something before we hit the road, it took 15 minutes for our food okay cool, then was told they gave our food away to the car in front of us, then had to be parked in the front so they can remake our order now the burger I ordered was the most simplest burger double with only mayo we waited another 17 minutes and got our food, open my burger and it is wrong, I go back in and they ask for the receipt from the bag I don't have it cause the guy took the bag to remake the order with the receipt then they reprint the original and see it says mayo, meat, and bread and the other receipt was placed with the wrong order. Cancel your online orders for delivery with skip cart if you see this option. We ordered $30 including tip/ worth of food, but Seems like a scam delivery service. They’re going to rip you off. They will mark your food as delivered and they didn’t respond to call or messages. Maybe they make mistakes but I googled their reviews they’re thieves. The Whataburger manager wouldn’t replace our food and had to go through the skip cart website to report the order charged but not delivered. Not sure if refund will apply anytime soon , not worth the trouble for delivery service. As for The food quality its hit and miss.

What has happened to Whataburger..went for a simple burger no tomatoes add mustard and mayo..got a cold burger with tomatoes and no mustard/mayo and tasted like an "old" burger..too tired to go back..and what happened to their onion rings..use to be crispy now the frozen kind that are horrible...sad to say use to be my favorite but this was a waste..Not the Whataburger I remember 😒

Went in about 10:30 on a Thursday and ordered inside for a to-go order. Ordered 2 burgers and 2 breakfast sandwiches for the family. When I got home, I did not receive 2 of my 4 said items. When I called and spoke to the manager, he advised that I had to drive back (20 minutes, 40 minutes round trip) in order to get a refund. He said there was nothing else he could do but wanted me to use my 40 minutes of time to return due to their mistake. How can you miss 2 out of 4 items. 50% of my order was missing. Never returning to this location.

It was a horrible experience there decided to stop there and eat on the way back from Austin heading to San Marcos , we ordered the grill chicken sandwich meal and the Spicy sandwich meal dry , they gave us dried up spicy chicken patty , it was just bad all the way around. I ordered 3 meals which came out to $40 which was expected but when I got to the window to pay my order felt short so I parked and checked it and I didn't get my two orders of onion rings and one order of fries and then my grilled chicken sandwich with extra mayo bacon and cheese was cold had no bacon and no condiments added to it...... When I went inside to ask them to correct my order there were two other people that came in saying they didn't receive their french fries with their orders and a lady that paid $120 for 11 orders and only got eight of them and they were wrong.......they agreed that the customer service is not what it should be and frustrating to have to deal with rude people when all you are wanting is good food and positive customer service.
They've lost my business today. Sad too because I've been going to that whataburger ever since they built it there and I never had a problem until today. Never gonna step foot in there restaurant or pull into their drive thru again. Thanks to the manager that was there today.
I had to wait more than 45 minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich, that they completely forgot to even put my order in the back or threw my order ticket away. Not sure, but the kid that was going around bringing everyone their food said there was no order put in but I had the receipt. One of my friends asked to speak to a manager and to comp the food or do something to make up for it.The manager never even came to check on us. They were serving people that came in 25 even 30 minutes after I did. My group finished eating all of their food before I even had mine to the table. Now as you can imagine we are now in the fast food restaurant for more than 1 hour and 20 minutes. And people who got there that much later already ate all their food and who left. Now some people might look at this review and say okay, that was one simple mistake.Everybody else was getting their food.It's not like it was happening to everyone. Maybe this review is not made to deter.Everybody from this restaurant plus I mean, who are we kidding? This is waterburger and everyone goes there. My hope is that the right person in management might see this and respond to it and next time. Just acknowledge that they made a mistake. Otherwise if they truly don't care this location I may never hear back from anyone ever again.
