Me and my sister have been coming here for years both drive about 30 minutes opposite directions to have breakfast. Today started as a bad experience when our server had attitude, inability to correct the food (not as ordered) and left us without saying anything and had the hostess deliver the bill. Our sever from one of our prior visits Imari was working another station came to our table and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to correct the issue and ensure we were taken care of. We have always been good customers, never complain and tip more than 20%. We will be back due to the hospitality, customer service and love that Imari shows! Imari’s vibe, energy and professionalism is what is needed and under appreciated! 🫶 thank you Imari. The manager on duty also was quick to interject and ensure the issue was addressed and resolved in a prompt manner and time.

Our server was great. The manager kept checking in to see if we needed anything. Even the sweet lady who was cleaning up the tables kept asking if we needed anything. Food was hot and came out quick.
My first time to IHOP. The service was fast, the staff was polite and professional. The breakfast was awesome 👍 up to the chefs. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted so good it melted in my mouth. Steak with onions and mushrooms, two eggs, hash browns, and two pancakes. I will be returning more frequently. IHOP is always a reliable spot for a classic breakfast, and this visit was just that—decent, but nothing special. The food came out hot and tasted fine, but nothing really wowed us. Me and my family ate good at the restaurant. even though they were short of staff, and orders were wrong, I saw great team work with the employee to make sure our table was set.
Let me start out by saying the worst IHop I have been to. Unfortunately this IHop needs a lot of work it's beaten and not been kept. Cleanliness is not a word any of the staff of management team knows. The service and food was subpar as you can see from the pictures they're too busy just getting people's money and getting them subparfood rather than taking care of what is the important parts of the restaurant. The windows are dirty the seats were torn and the bathroom was not sanitary at all. And if you're a person with disabilities in a wheelchair please don't even bother coming to this location because the toilet was out of order and there was no sign in the restaurant or anywhere else other than in the bathroom by the time you made it there, it was too late that you couldn't use it. I'm not sure how this restaurant is still open! I can only imagine what the kitchen look like. Pennsylvania DOH must have some very lenient laws when it comes to cleanliness and upkeep of a restaurant. Next time I'm in PA I won't be coming to this one that's for sure!!
Walked in on a Saturday we had a party of 6 and there was 1 gentleman working the front desk he was also the person to take us to our seat after he cleaned off our table and he was also our waiter. Then I asked if he was working alone and he said yeah. That is absolutely ridiculous. The gentleman (Johnny) was a one man show and he did amazing. I hope he is getting paid double or triple for working ever position here. Then found out there’s also only 1 cook (Eddie). Johnny and Eddie were wonderful and should be appreciated for the great service they provided.
I was at Lancaster I hop on sat morning for breakfast. Our server was polite and did her job well. However the utensils had to be sent back as they were dirty. My daughter order the crepe and was brought out slimy and couldn't be eaten. The other 2 meals being omelets were ok. We didn't want to send back as we all know what happens then. This is the second i hop we tried and it appears that they both need to be cleaned and get a new dish washer and re train the cooks.
Service was okay. Food came out undercooked, and we also ordered the Cinnabon pancakes, which came put as regular pancakes with 2 cups. One had like a cinnamon batter, and the other had icing. After staying and working a New Years Eve Event and going back to our hotel room for the night. My wife and I made plans to go to iHop for breakfast instead of eating at the Hotel, BIG MISTAKE! We pulled into a half empty parking lot and people standing at the door waiting to be seated. Thinking they had a mad rush we were being understandable. 20 mins for a table according to the waitress/hostess and when I look at the number of cleaned and unsat tables I was enthusiastic she over estimated, yup I was WRONG. Waited an hour to get a seat, waitress just wanted to push us in and out, but after putting in our orders we get told they are out of this and that. As we sit at our tables the line out the door keeps growing and yet no one is being sat. There are four wait staff seating people and the largest table is a 6top. There is no excuse for the lack of service or care that this staff shows from the kitchen to the wait staff and manager. Worse yet as we were finishing up our meal we watched two tables get up after ordering and walk out, as customers ask for the Manager and she Hides in the Kitchen.
Came in for breakfast on Sunday 11/30/25, 10:30 am. We were seated right away. Nina, our waitress, walked by and said she would be with us in a minute. When she came back, she said that she was going to take drink orders from several booths at one time. The same went for our food orders. I was thinking, this is not going to be good. I was correct, unfortunately. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. First problem, we didn't have utensils. The food was getting cold and we asked a waiter passing by if we could get utensils. He said,no problem. Ten minutes went by, no utensils. Finally our waitress walked by, we flagged her down and asked if we can get utensils so we can eat our food. We were also short hash browns for my wife, salsa, sour cream for my Chicken Fajita and my chocolate chocolate chip pancakes. All this time, Nina, never apologized. She had an attitude, like we were asking too much from her. We received all the missing food except for my pancakes. Finally, I asked to speak with a manager. She said she would take care of my pancakes. From the time we ordered, the pancakes took a hour. Totally disappointed. I asked for the manager again. I explained how frustrated I was with the pancake ordeal. She said, at least they're fresh. What! Thinking to myself, I wanted them with my meal. I also asked her if there was something she can do about the check. I'm an IHOP regular in New Jersey and this particular IHOP also. Shortly after, our waitress, Nina, walked past our booth and said "RIDICULOUS". Totally uncalled for. I never have a problem paying my check but this kind of treatment is below unsatisfactory. The manager came to our table several more times, first offering 10 percent off, then 20. I told her that was unacceptable. The manager finally agreed and said she would pay for the meals. It gets better. Nina walks past our booth and says" we should learn how to be nice to people". Again, WHAT! If she only new how much my wife and I help all kinds of individuals. To us, Nina and the manager, should be retrained or terminated. They are the front line for IHOP.
I had an incorrect order called back into the manager at this location, explained my situation and she hung up on me. Tried to call back and I was blocked so I had to call another IHOP in Exton PA who is owned by a different owner who gave me the 1866 number to put a formal complaint in on this manager That is unethical to hang up on an unhappy customer. The least you can do is hear them out I will never go back to this restaurant unless it’s under new management. I have never been treated so badly in my life at a restaurant and considering I just dropped $40 for two breakfast The least she could’ve done has heard me out if you hire people like this for a manager then what kind of people do you have for employees? Haven’t been in an IHOP for years and was craving pancakes. So our server comes and smells like patchouli and a chemical factory which set off my allergies. I would have left but we were so hungry and 3 other places we liked were closed. She was nice enough but the food was meh. The oil in the fryer needed changed because the fries and fish had a weird taste. My breakfast was decent, the pancakes were good, eggs lukewarm. I just wanted to eat and get out. The music mostly sucked too. We waited for our check about 10-15 min and I had to go back to the kitchen and yell for someone. The lady there apologized and helped us out. She seemed to be the only one hustling and trying.
Just had the worst dining experience of my life here at this iHop. Had been here a few times in previous years, and slow service has been a trend, but this time really took the cake. We , a party of 5, arrived at 1130a on a Sunday, We waited over 25 minutes to be seated, while more than half of the tables in the restaurant were vacant. Once seated it took over 20 minutes to even get our drink order, and once placed, our waitress forgot about our drinks and it was another 20 minutes before we got those. People who were seated at the same exact time as us received their meals while we still waited for our drinks. It took another 30 minutes to get our food, and half of my party’s food felt like it had been sitting out and was not fresh. Throughout the duration of our visit, the waitress only came to our table 3 times, so we had no opportunity to order additional drinks, though Frankly I’d be surprised if they came out by the time finished eating. Like previously stated, this was definitely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, and will definitely not be coming back here under any circumstances.
Poor Dining Experience at IHOP – Feedback on Service and Order Issues Dear IHOP Management, I am writing to share my experience at your restaurant yesterday morning around 8:45 AM. I visited the location 2319 Lincoin Hwy E, Lanchaster, PA 17602 with my family of six and was seated promptly by one of your employees. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had at IHOP. Our server, whose name I believe was Theodore, seemed distracted and disorganized from the beginning. While taking our drink orders, he was dismissive when one of our family members declined a drink, saying, “You don’t need drinks with food,” which was unprofessional and unnecessary. Throughout our meal, the service continued to be poor. Our orders were incorrect, and additional items were added to our bill that we did not order. I ordered a Big Steak Omelette, but no sides or sauces were provided, even though we had specifically requested them. We also ordered chicken dishes and asked for sauces in advance, but those were never brought to the table. When we ordered coffee, the server left the coffee jug on the table without any cups, making it impossible to drink. We also requested French vanilla creamer, but instead, he brought a small to-go milk container, which was not what we asked for. Additionally, we ordered three milkshakes — two Oreo Cookie Cream, one chocolate. The server later suggested we add another for a “buy one, get one” offer, which we agreed to. here comes again when the milkshakes arrived, the order was wrong: we received two chocolate and one Oreo Cookie Cream, with no straws provided. To make matters worse, when I received the bill, the total was $184, which seemed excessive and included charges for items we didn’t order. I asked to speak with the manager, Rachel, who was very polite and apologetic. When I explained the situation, she helped by removing the gratuity and additional charges that were incorrectly added to my bill. After the adjustments, my final payment was $142.08. While I truly appreciated Rachel’s professionalism and willingness to correct the issue, the overall experience left me and my family extremely disappointed. The server’s inattentive and careless attitude, combined with multiple order errors, made what should have been an enjoyable breakfast very frustrating. As someone who works in a leadership position, I understand the importance of professionalism, respect, and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below IHOP’s usual standards. I traveled from Virginia on my way to Sight & Sound Theatres and decided to stop for breakfast at IHOP based on previous good experiences. However, this visit left a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope IHOP management addresses this issue with appropriate training and oversight to prevent similar experiences for other guests. Thank you for your time and understanding. Went for breakfast. Was seated right away, orded the coffee cake pancakes, they came out nothing like the advertisment on the table, also ordered cinnamon roll crepes, came out overed cooked. not like the picture in menu. Sever said we don't serve the food like the pictures. Maybe you should close this store.
RUN!! GO TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE!! Place our order. Oops, sorry we don't have sausage. Ok, things happen. Change our order. Waitress comes back a second time to ask what she had already asked previously. Guess it got confusing as there were 2 other tables with customers in entire place. As mine gets delivered to the table, other person is told, sorry we don't have onion rings. Ok. Pretty basic things to be out of. Now I either eat in front of other person or my food gets cold. Next, bring out the brunch burger. Literally looked like the Grandsons cheeseburger from his happy meal. Missing the egg, no sauce, skimpy piece of bacon and a slice of cheese. Come on IHOP you can do better!!!
Terrible place to eat. We were seated. No one came over for at least six minutes. The restaurant only had maybe six tables with people seated. Our waiter finally comes over and he keeps rubbing his hair, saying that its all over his head. He took our order while joking around. He never removed the coffee pot off of the table. He brought our order out fifteen minutes later. My pancakes were terrible. He forgot some of my nieces food. Her food looked terrible. Seven minutes later he comes over to see how we were doing. I tell him that the pancakes were terrible. He leaves them on the table and goes to tell the manager. The manager comes out almost Twenty minutes later. He asks, do you want something else. I tell him no because it took you so long to come out. He offers me a platter to take with me. I decline. I pay for my nieces meal and we leave.
I’m vegetarian and I got the veggie omelette. It looked disgusting from the moment the waiter put it down and smelled like fish. I took a bite and it tasted like fish too. I told the waiter my issue and he apologized but I was still charged for the disgusting plate that I didn’t even eat. The side of fruit looked old too so I didn’t eat anything but the side of hash brown I ordered. Terrible service and terrible food. Never coming back here again.
I usually prefer this location but my last visit there was HORRIBLE to say the least. It was 5 tables with people the place was NOT busy when I went. My waitress took so long so bring me utensils my food got cold and I couldn't finish my meal. I asked her 2 times for utensils and got them the 3rd time i asked. I had to search tables for my own ketchup cause she never came to check on us to know i needed it. She never even offered to refill our drinks. And if that's not bad enough my total was $30.38 I gave $40.38 and she was adamant that my change was $2. Mind you she calculated my change in her head. Never ran it through the register. Despite the horrible service I still left a tip on the table because you never know what someone is going through and she may have had a lot on her mind. But even after telling her that was the incorrect change she still insisted my change was $2 and not $10. And never gave me my receipt or my change. Didn't even give the $2. So she got an extra $10 out of me. I will never go back to this location and if you do pay with a card not cash unless you want your money stolen.
Horrible place EVER!!!! I ordered with no mushrooms because I’m allergic! I ordered chicken and shrimp and got only chicken!!! I place my order online at 958am and it stated it would be ready at 1015am. I get to IHOP at 1038am and they stated it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I wanted a restful day after a very long work week of over 70 hours. I should have made breakfast at home!!! Not only was the food not ready and I had to wait over 30 minutes in my car. I get my food and it’s completely wrong!!!!!! I tried to call them and no answer!!!!! This is horrible!!!! Don’t order online and do go there at all!!!!
Awful service from the get go. No one was there to greet us or even be at the front. Multiple employees would walk by and not even look in our direction. When someone did come by, she held her finger up, as to say “one second.” But no words exited her mouth-horrible customer service. If you don’t have time for customers or can’t use the voice box you were gifted, then a bad review is coming your way. We were finally seated, by the way, it’s very uncomfortable. My friend has chronic back pain and it was very uncomfortable for her. Our waitress was Tonya, who was VERY sweet but I will be honest, she was not very attentive; however, she was attending to most people in the restaurant. After we ordered our food, a slew of people came in, one family with around 15+ and a couple. Because there was no one to greet them and they had been waiting for at least 10 minutes, the woman walked back to the kitchen and found employees. She told her husband she found them screwing around in the back. It took about 30-35 minutes for our food to come out and we were all sick afterwards… genuinely. The has browns were like not fully cooked and tasted straight up microwaved but for too long. My friend received 2/4 pieces of bacon. The tomatoes in my wrap were almost plastic like. Our sweet waitress was the only saving grace of the whole place. It wasn’t very clean, the lighting was dingy, and the staff was rude. Would not recommend coming here or wasting your money, we commend Tonya, though. She was great!
