This restaurant offered my family and I an exceptional dining experience, with delicious food, impeccable cleanliness, and attentive service. The steak was outstanding and our server Chuy provided courteous and attentive service. While the prices are average for a steakhouse, the superior dining experience makes it well worth the cost. This establishment would be ideal for a business meetings, special occasions, or a romantic evening out. In my opinion, it's the best steakhouse in Laredo!

Great food and service

We visited the Laredo location at San Dario Ave. And it was amazing!! Our server Deborah was exceptional, right on point on all aspects of customer service! They always have great service but She was above and beyond, we'll definitely be coming back and she is one of the main reasons for it, the food was fantastic and was brought to us fast and at the perfect temperature, I'm on a wheelchair and they made it easy for me to sit without any hassle. I would give them more stars if I could. A big shout-out to the manager Edward Arturo Perez for leading his business and staff in such an outstanding manner.

Longhorn is my favorite restaurant to go to, and mainly because I love their longhorn salmon from there. It’s so flavorful and the entire dish just comes together perfectly. I have ordered the flos filet multiple times from here, and it’s really good not of the time. I highly recommend.

Food and service was great, the only thing that they haven't fix, is the hot water in the restrooms, you can see the steam! you can't wash your hands without burning yourself! They have 2 faucets and they both only have very hot water! Please fix them before someone gets hurt

Really good place to eat with family and friends, sometimes they might not have lots of servers on the floor, and they might make you wait, but just 15 min no more. Steaks on point and great sides well heated and great attention from your waiter, loved the food 👍

Best damn hunk of ribeye I have ever had. The wife had the half-rack baby back ribs and loved it. My waitress was the nicest person you could want and very attentive. I expect to return to this joint upon my next visit to Laredo.

Longhorn is my favorite chain steakhouse to eat at. While traveling for work,I am staying close enough to walk to one. I went at 8:30 at night, & there was still a 1/2 hr wait. Ended up sitting at the bar & eating. Both bartenders were great. From putting on the NCAA tournament game for me, to checking up on me regularly. I had the shrimp appetizer & the 6 Oz. filet with 4 Oz. lobster tail. Everything was cooked well. This Longhorn in Loredo, TX, is a winner.

Fancy steakhouse, perfect for a romantic dinner or simply to celebrate something special. The costs are a bit high but the portions are generous so it's totally worth it. The attention was pretty good as well. Once you order, while your meals are prepared, they bring you some bread and butter to open the appetite, the bread was warm and freshly made. To start we ordered the Texas Brisket Queso which is basically melted cheese with Brisket and Pico de Gallo, which I highly recommend. Then we got the Outlaw Ribeye, one of the house specialties, we asked for it to be cooked at Medium, so it came very juicy and tender, also every steak includes two sides, and we decided to go for the Garden Salad (which includes lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, grated American cheese and a dressing of choice, we got the White Balsamic Vinaigrette, that was a very good combination), and the Crispy Texas Okra that was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was delicious. Some of the soft beverages include free refills and they also offer a small selection of beers, as well as hand-crafted margaritas and classic cocktails.

Went to LongHorn Steakhouse for lunch and ordered the 6 oz filet with a lobster tail (about $35.49) and a baked potato. Overall, the meal was really good. The steak had great flavor and was cooked well, though it did feel a little smaller than a true 6 oz. The lobster tail was delicious — especially with the butter they give you. That was probably my favorite part. The baked potato was okay, nothing crazy, and it came with their bread and a Caesar salad, which were both nice additions. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend this place. I honestly think the quality and taste of the meat are better than a lot of other steakhouses around. Portion size could’ve been a bit bigger, but the flavor made up for it. I’d go back for sure.

I have ordered several times through the LongHorn Steakhouse app, and every single experience has been excellent. The pick-up service is extremely well-organized and convenient. You simply leave your phone number, receive a text message once your order is ready, and when you arrive, you park in the designated pick-up area. Within minutes, a team member brings the order straight to your car—fast, efficient, and hassle-free. As for the food, the quality is always consistent and impressive. The steaks are juicy, tender, and cooked exactly to the requested temperature, which shows real attention to detail. Side dishes like the baked potato, steamed broccoli, and grilled corn are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly complement the main dishes. Even appetizers such as the Spicy Chicken Bites arrive crispy and delicious, just as if you were dining inside the restaurant. I stayed in Laredo for two days on a business trip, and when I searched Google for a steak restaurant with good reviews around the hotel, I found LongHorn Steakhouse, so I visited there for dinner. The menu showed the 20oz Outlaw Ribeye Steak as a recommended menu item, so I ordered that steak. I thought it would be a lot because it was 20oz, but when I actually had it, it was a size that was just right for an adult male to eat alone. As expected from the recommended menu item, the taste of the steak was really great. So I had the same steak for dinner two days in a row. lol Next time I go on a business trip to Laredo, I will eat the same steak at LongHorn Steakhouse again.

I had the 9oz filet. The steak was a perfect med-rare, as ordered. My first bite had gristle, so not the best start. The seasoning was also very sparce, but I'm aware that I prefer a well-seasoned steak. All in all, I would recommend.

Great meat, good food even better with family and friends

Food was amazing. To start, the bread was nice and hot. We all had the side salad. Love how they serve it COLD. Very crisp. Next was the Nolan Ryan chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Very good flavor. Batter not too heavy. Gravy was delicious and super yummy potatoes. We really enjoyed our meal.

I don't frequent this establishment much but, when I do, it's usually satisfactory. Although this time my ribeye was more cooked than I asked for, it was tasty. I consider every cook is different, and the cuts of meat also vary but I was still left with the urge for "good steak". I also had the tortilla soup and that was very good. Place was well kept, clean, and ultimately was a good experience. I'll definitely be back but in several months when and if the occasion arises. Other local steak restaurants seem to be more consistent whenever im craving steak.

It's one of my favorite dining restaurants. The food is always on point to my liking. I always love sitting at the tables by the bar, but lately, the service to get greeted and served or even a refill takes so long that it took 10 mins for the bartender to come and take our drink order and to order and pay out. I've seen where guests leave because they were never greeted. A server is needed at those tables.

Overall great experience. This was our first time eating at Longhorn Steakhouse and we did not regret it. They were great at accommodating our dinner group of 12 people and helped us with our 2 birthdays that evening. Waitress was very attentive but did take awhile for her to circle back to our table as it was pretty busy for a Saturday. Steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection and the smoked mac and cheese was perfect. Not a very extensive menu but had all the standards and prices are not the cheapest but the food was great. Recommend for family meals or that private dinner date

Visited this particular Steakhouse 3 times during my month long visit to Laredo. I wish I knew the names I usually pay attention. The first visit was amazing, service was top notch and the food was perfect. Second visit the service was trash, waited 10 minutes for a table, didn't get a single refill on sweet tea and waited a little over an hr after ordering before receiving it. Mind you my family was the first people on the door. The third visit, service was just as bad. 30 minutes after being seated we are served our drinks, 30 minutes later than that we receive undercooked food. All in all I guess it depends on what night or afternoon you visit and who is working.

Went for dinner for my birthday. Food was really good, but my girlfriend found what seem to be a piece of candle wax on her food. They replaced it but there was also a piece of plastic on my plate, but I found that when I was done. Also one of my forks had dried food stuck to it. That's the reason I gave 3 stars. Could be lower if it wasn't for the great service and delicious food. I'd love to give them another chance cause maybe it was just one of those unlucky days. As for now, 3 stars is more than enough I can give.

I love longhorn steakhouse. I’m not a regular but it’s a favorite in special occasions (birthdays, anniversary, promotions, etc) but this last time was horrible. The lighting was horribly dim I could barely see my plate. My longhorn steak tasted burnt all throughout. I ate half of it since I was starving but once I was full couldn’t finish it. I don’t understand how it could taste burnt if it was medium term. Probably the grill was dirty and still cooked on it. Half the table got their plates after the other half of the table got theirs even when some of the plates were the same order. Sides were wrong. 2 of my nieces didn’t get their plates until almost everybody was done eating. Some of my family members had to wait forever for refills. I brought this to my waitress attention maybe we could get a free dessert of something to make up for it and nothing happened. It was my birthday and it a complete and utter disappointment. After this we asked for plates to get cake but they also took forever to arrive. We had to wipe the small plates that were dirty in order to start eating the cake. Paying the tab was no different either. We took like 15-20 mins to pay the tab. It was past 10 pm and we wanted to go home.

A great place enjoyed lunch of a filet mignon with the lobster and with salad and fries was very good and enjoyable staff polite and friendly the service was good. The waitress was helpful everyone that came in had a face mask on all staff had face masks on as well which is reassuring at the moment the restaurant is clean and tidy and enjoyable experience. Certainly would go back.

The setting is fine, food is normal. One thing that was really weird, the burger was small compared to the french fries portion. I feel its a few dollars over priced. They people seemed alright.

Steak had no flavor and it was dry. 12oz rib eye. Disappointed.

Eh went to try the lunch burger promo, it was extremely disappointing. I got that with french fries and water about 14 bucks. With tip. It was extremely bland My buddy got the chicken fried chicken and he said it was a let down as well, he paid about 27 for his lunch and he got a soda. The waitress was friendly, but the runners are meh, who brought the food. Now I recall why I dislike going to long horn. Appetizer was better than food long wait time to be seated and to have food served...atention was ok but waiting time took about 20 to 30 minutes to have food served plus the 20 minutes waiting to get a table. Price was a little overpriced for quality of steak and shrimp had no flavor rice tasted as if it was microwaved. Could of done better for the price of ticket. Expected more since reviews said they served great steak. Liked brisket queso more than entrees. 3 stars for now

Nice atmosphere, service is good could be better, steaks were good and macaroni was ok. The table decorative lamps were dirty and we had to be calling the waiters ourselves to ask for more drinks. Other than that it's a nice place to go have dinner and drinks

I had a horrible experience with the host lady. I asked her how long the waiting time was for the service, and she completely ignored me and started talking to a girl. I said hello?? Again, and she said, "I'm talking to her" then a guy next to her gave me the time. I'm upset because the customer should come first besides it was just a question that wasn't gonna take more than 1 minute. How rude of her.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because zero starts is not available. I will absolutely never order from this location! Three times in a row my order was not correct. This last time I requested for my sides to be separated from the steaks. My sides were placed in the same container. The fries and mac & cheese were soaked with steak juice. I ordered medium steaks. The steaks were not only over seasoned with salt but the steaks were well done. I don’t know how you cook a medium steak well done. I usually never complain but after 3 times it tells me that not only is the kitchen bad, but there is a breakdown in leadership. The only thing I can say is positive is the curbside servers which I tip well. This location needs to close down for 1-7 days to conduct training. Negative stars and an utter failure on quality.

We had the worst experience ever. Our order took about an hour, appetizers were cold and raw. The salads were drowned in dressing. Our food was absolutely disgusting. There was even used straw wrapper in my mom’s salad. We addressed all the issues with the manager. The manager could have cared less and completely ignored what was going on. He didn’t even look up when we were talking to him. Our server was a sweetheart. She was trying her best to help us. Once we decided to leave, then he cared. Then, he moved and offered us a dessert? It’s completely disappointing to see such a great restaurant go down the drain. We loved going to celebrate and eat there. But, this experience completely changed our minds on the establishment and it’s questionable management. Their appalling customer service and food care practices are subject to major concerns . Save your money and go elsewhere.

We went to eat dinner today and when I cut thru my chicken it was raw inside, pink color. The waiter did not even offer to replace it he just basically sent us off, we didn't have to pay, but the experience was terrible, don't go to Longhorn, they just rush to cook your food fast because they always have a lot of people, even the plates were not very clean either.

I don't recommend it. The waitress was extremely rude and dictate what we should order. He rolled his eyes as if he didn't want to serve us. I couldn't get his name but most servers there have the worse attitude. I got up & left. Texas Roadhouse was my other option in which they treated me with courtesy & respect. Need to improve customer service I was a frequent customer never again. There are other better options than this restaurant think about treating customers bad.

Slow service, I asked for a Sprite drink which had no syrup. It was charged and not changed. The waitress didn't refill nor check us. She took forever to bring the tab & a box to go. Either she was distracted or didn't care. Food was good, service was terrible, today. I was just there around 1pm. Bad service.

Unfortunately, my experience here was terrible. The service was unbelievably slow—they took forever to assist with anything I needed. The customer service was just awful, and to make things worse, the food was cold. My steak was so cold and dry that I couldn’t even cut through it. I had to send it back and request a new one, which added to the already long wait. To top it off, they dropped cleaning soap on the floor and never bothered to clean it up. I had to put napkins over it myself to avoid someone slipping, but even then, the staff didn’t address it. This lack of attention to basic cleanliness and safety is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely don’t recommend this location to anyone.

i’m so disappointed with the service tonight . it started bad with the host negating that we had a baby who needed a high chair. we sat there for 30 min before acknowledgment by server .when asked for high chair he said we were placed in table where high chairs couldn’t be placed . and then telling us we had to wait for clean table . i felt bad for this waiter looks like he needed help or back up . we love to come here and it sucks that we now have judge the atmosphere next time we come to see if it’s worth going thru all of this again .yes i spoke to manager but she wasn’t being genuine she swore that it was already discussed our situation . yet she was saying good bye to us as we left due to the terrible service .

Definitely never again! I bought the Texas Brisket Queso, I found a man’s hair in my food. First off, I’m a woman with long black hair, second of all the hair was brown and thin. The service was good, nice server took off the dish. In addition, the food was extremely cold and the wait was more than an hour and a half. Continuing, my coworker bought the medium well sirloin steak and it came BLOOD RED, she’s pregnant too! 10/10 don’t think I will come again.

Attempted to call the restaurant to resolve issues but no answer. It was a Thursday night and my sister said the restaurant was really busy when she picked up order so I can understand. BUT unfortunately the steaks were not cooked appropriately and when it comes to to-go orders we can't just send it back to the kitchen. The porterhouse steak was ordered medium well and it was not even near that it was rare to medium rare. Of course we had to cook it just to mildly enjoy it, but for a steak of that price it should be guaranteed to be cooked right.

It's vary bad service, I asked for steak cook well its cames cool and wen i start eating bloodysteak bleed like its still live, lady who served us took it back to recook it. Its nothing change, its vary bad . My friend steak half left in the table not good. It's been charged $51.00 and 10 ts cash. . In my receipt it's as u see $41.19. It's charging 10 dollars more. Since that time I start not like steak anymore.

Called the location at 5:20 pm and asked if it was busy or a wait and was told there was no wait so got there and asked for the round table in the end that sits 8 if im not mistaken and said we are a party of 6 (we are 5 but we get the extra chair for additional spacing and also for purses and coats etc) got there ahead of time to start on an app since I was starving and was told I had to wait for the whole party to get there... fine... i did... 3 minutes later everyone gets there and was told because we are 5 we cannot sit there... mind you yesterday we also had issues with them not having waiters on floor and couldn't be seated on the round table again because there was no waiter for that section... also to top it off ive seen a party of 3 sit in that section, the manager was being petty trying to defend her staff because we called her out at her laughing at our situation and even stepping towards us in a aggressive manner telling us she wasn't laughing, so the manager told us she couldn't sit us there because that table belongs to a party of 8... and there was graduations today and they had to leave it available for parties... when we called and asked with no wait... also ive been told before first come excuses before.... mind you it is empty as hell and the graduations were still happening so its not till after 6:30 where people will start showing up.. plenty of time to eat and leave.... but they were adamant and standing their ground because they just didnt want to serve us... we were nothing but respectful and this is how we got treated. I will be calling corporate tomorrow and I cant wait to hear what they going to tell me

Actively ignored by multiple staff members. Tried several ways to get attention. Nearby tables of various sizes got better service and their orders before us. We expected better for the price we paid.
