I have been to Puerto Vallarta numerous of times and never have I had a more fun experience that felt homely and comfortable! Everything from the drag show on Fridays to the delicious appetizers they serve (try the chicken strips and fries!) this place made my experience worth while! Definitely returning and definitely recommending this place to everyone to LA CHACHALACA!

El Show comienza a las 9, el ambiente es agradable y seguro. Recomendado para pasarla bien y disfrutar cantando. Fuimos un miércoles por lo que la concurrencia fue baja, me imagino que en fin de semana asisten más expectadores.

La Chachalaca es un lugar relativamente nuevo pero con un gran concepto, cuenta con una variedad de bebidas preparadas y no puede faltar la cerveza, esta muy lindo el lugar tiene pantallas donde podrás ver vídeos musicales y deportes cuando hay eventos por transmitir, es fácil de encontrar La Chachalaca ya que esta sobre la calle que da hacia el muelle, espero que tengan la oportunidad de visitar este grandioso lugar, ya que La Chachalaca es un lugar gay friendly!

Un lugar con la magia necesitaría para divertirte al máximo, excelentes bebidas y sobre todo lo mejor en servicio y atención. Es el lugar obligatorio al que tienes que ir si estás en Puerto Vallarta .

Sin duda alguna las mejores margaritas que en vida haya tomado fue aquí en chachalaca, es un lugar muy agradable y los meseros super amables, es un lugar que lo tiene todo para estar con amigos o pareja, realmente lo recomiendo ampliamente y estoy convencido que el ambiente del bar es tan acogedor.

Great place for drinks and entertainment! The staff is very friendly and will remember you when you come back; as if you’re family! The drinks are very fairly priced and they have a strong show schedule for drag shows. Often they do karaoke as well. It’s a great location by the beach, too. Make sure to stop by!

Bar Chachalaca is a fantastic venue. It's one of my favorite places to be! The staff are all very welcoming and create a safe space for everyone who enters. The drag queens are so very talented and put on shows every day, the bartenders make delicious cocktails and serve ice cold beer, the manager Oliver has helped create a solid community here at Chachalaca bar, with the many who spend their entire vacation visiting with their new friends. They accept card as well, which is a plus for those of us who don't always carry cash! So if you ever need a hug from a friendly face, or a good stiff drink, definitely check out Chachalaca Bar!

Love the bar, and the staff is by far the real reason to come here. My only issue is the insane volume during drag shows. 50 people or 1 the volume is the same. And the sound system can’t handle the volume. But still a great place, just know it’s LOUD.

This is one of the best bars we've been to. They play excellent music and they do take music requests as well. The owner, Oliver, is very nice and welcoming. We, definitely recommend this bar.

El lugar es pequeño pero entretenido, si le hace falta mejorar su coctelería, pero ya ambientado y con amigos te la pasas bien en el sitio.

Showing up near anxious after hearing about chakalaka bar for several years, and remembering being here once before when it was packed, but disappointed this time!? I arrived with a bunch of older men playing bingo, I was told by the bartender that they're no longer serving a full menu so my options were chicken wings for $120 pesos or a hot dog for 40 pesos! Not sure why? When I asked the bartender told me he wasn't sure, he has been working for one year, & this was the current situation. No sliders!? No chicken burger!? 😕 NO Chacalaca fries!?!? Que paso! 🙃

We came today at 6pm, there were no other guests but us , I wanted to sing karaoke and drink Cocktails. I sang only 3 songs. 1 cocktail and 15 min later they said that I am not allowed to sing anymore because their boss doesn’t want it and they should be prepared for their drag show that starts at 9pm . I finished my only drink and went away. Thanks for “great” evening mood. Will never come back ofc

Ordered a Smirnoff and soda, 90 pesos. Same drink with better pour and ambience at Cantina La Margarita is only 65 pesos, including air conditioning. Will not be recommending Chachalaca to visitors or friends - permanent residents for 9 years.

1/31/2023 avoid at all cost. Got a Dirty Bird that states stuffed blue cheese olives and got plain olives. Friend got a frozen mango margarita and it came in the rocks. Go to a bar that actually serves the menu says.

El lugar es agradable pero la atención del manager es muy mala y no invita a volver.

Ha sido una desagradable experiencia la visita al Chachalaca y ser tratado con irrespeto. El encargado Oliver, un hombre calvo y obeso, es sumamente grosero y descortés. Su trato displicente aleja a cualquier cliente del lugar. Es una persona NO APTA para atender en este tipo de lugares. Recomiendo al propietario prescindir de este tipo de personas.

Se supone que tienen una noche de margaritas al 2X1 toda la noche en su menú, pedimos mi pareja y yo una margarita cada uno para probarlas, sabían a puro limón y nada más, como no nos gustó pedimos la cuenta y nos cobraron dos margaritas (se supone que las tienen en promoción) cuando le dijimos al mesero que estaban en promocion, nos dijo que sólo hasta cierta hora y claramente en el menú dice que toda la noche, entonces le preguntó al bartender y el dijo que si queríamos la otra nos la daba de a gratis, pero que nos iba a cobrar esas dos porque la promoción es por persona!... van empezando y no lo están haciendo muy bien.

Pésimo servicio parece que a los empleados solo les interesa servir y atender a los americanos para mayor propina, mi comida fría y mala presentación y por el platillo y 2 limonadas minerales tuve que pagar $600 pesos y aparte la propina ... ¡Que horror!

Everything was fun until we got served a horrible margarita, Worst one we have had all weekend. They wouldn’t allow us to exchange it, or make us a new one. They instead made us pay for it, Shorted us change then proceeded to tell us they’re exchange rate is only 15 pesos per dollar, 20% lower than everyone else. They made a simple problem into a big deal, Arguing with us in front of everyone. Very unprofessional
