Loved eating here. The crispy taquitos were made really well, very flavorful and filling. The guacamole was also done well, I typically don't like too many ingredients in it as I'd rather have the Avocado be the star. This place really delivered!

Came here short notice and ordered 20 breakfast burritos. The owner here did an amazing job and I seen how hard he worked to prepare my order extra fast so that I could make it on time to bring my clients breakfast. The burritos were amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better job. I don’t typically write reviews but I appreciate the job they did. Great work, would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!!

Food is actually pretty tasty here. I've enjoyed the Asada Fries the most; the flavors of the Guac, Pico and Meat just meshed so well. California Breakfast burrito was okay, the salsa was okay as well. A bit of a different flavor, not as spicy as I would have liked it to be but it's okay. Over all it is a good place and the Asada Fries really are the highlight of my meal during this visit.

The enchiladas and the chips I ordered were glistening in oil/grease. The tortillas were absolutely saturated in oil I didn't even eat them. The rice was fantastic, beans were ok and the few chips I was able to salvage that weren't drowned in frying oil were good too. The salsa bar salsas are top notch! I'd recommend this place but I wouldn't order anything that they might think needs 2 quarts or cooking oil/grease.

Used to be the Best Mex. food around! Everything I have order so far was darn good love the carrots/jalapenos and they have a Habanero salsa for extra kick. The only thing I would say needs improvement is on taco tues. the protions are a little smaller in the tacos y burrittos. The foods so good even my kids ask for take almost every week. march 2023 update: last time i went every single food item protions were smaller. My taco had half the meat really sad, and the burittos are getting smaller too :( had a lot of “old” fries in the asada fries. Pic only shows some of them. Not sure why they wld put old nasty fries in there.

WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. I seldom write reviews yet felt compelled to do so here due to the terrible experience my family received here today. Craving Mexican food, we went here for dinner. Wow, so many things went wrong: 1) The cashier was bothered by my 12-year old son when he could not articulate his order clearly and he had to repeat himself. We even got an eye roll from the cashier! 2) If you’re going to have photos tied to menu items, as a customer I don’t think it’s too much to ask that the item you actually receive somewhat looks like the photo. That’s not what we got. We ordered carne asada tacos. Photo on their board included carne asada and lettuce yet we get shredded beef, bell peppers and onions? Shredded beef!? We even brought the food up to the counter to confirm it was what we ordered and he said “yes that’s carne asada tacos”. Umm I’m sorry but I’ve been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants and that’s not what they are supposed to look like. 3) I ordered a 2oz (supposed to be 1/4 cup) side of rice for my daughter and see photo - a small salsa container with rice? I don’t think I need to say anything more here. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They give you cheap-quality items that are not what you actually order, and staff is not the most client friendly. For $15-20 a plate, go to a different Mexican restaurant. You’ll be glad you did.

Arrived here at 4:30 AM for an early breakfast. As I walked in I felt like the place smelled like toilet a little bit… But then I thought to myself eh it’s probably the cleaning detergents they use or something. Anyway, I told the the cashier/cook that it’s my first time here. Not only he didn’t offer to help me neither did he even respond to my good morning!! I still kept a positive mindset, because hey it’s 4:30 in the morning after all… (although no excuse for terrible service) I was like I hope at least the “California Breakfast Burrito” is gonna be worth the $12.50 and the below subpar service… WRONG, it was terrible. The potatoes were literally liked chopped RAW and put in the burrito (I’ll post a photo of it). I don’t know how this place is still even open in a city like Mission Viejo. The meat and the cheese tasted very old and very poor quality. I am now enjoying a bowl of cereal, because the burrito pictured went straight in the trash after 2 bites. It’s just gross. Don’t waste your hard earned money here.

I used to love coming here, but with failed management and dishonest business practices, I have since walked out, forced to give this negative review. On their menu, above the counter, 12 rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese has a price listed for $17.99. I order this, but the register shows $19.25. Complained to the “manager/owner” (female with bright red lipstick). She said “oh last week the prices changed.” I let her know that she either has to honor the listed price or give us something extra to compensate for the extra charge. She walked away. Then another worker comes and says, “Do you want to order or not?” I explained again that they need to honor the listed price. She said she couldn’t. Clearly, when you own a business, advertise a price, you MUST honor that price. I am a small business owner. I own two boba stores. One day, our system was acting up and one of the drinks was listed as FREE! I had to honor that to my customers before the necessary changes could be made. That’s five star customer service!

I really wanted to love this place. I love a good Torta, and was so excited, that I tried this place twice. I was so disappointed the first time, I thought it had to be a one off based on their reviews, but no, it’s just bad. The torta was DRY, hardly a trace of green (guacamole) on it anywhere, and the carnitas was almost all FAT. After taking out the fatty chunks, I was left with hardly any actual pork. It’s very strange. It looks like the cut the fat into strips and add it in with the meat. It almost looks like it could be onions, but it’s definitely not. So gross. Both times, exactly the same experience. See pictures, all the stuff on the top tray is 100% fat. I paid for meat, not that junk. Won’t be returning.

So I ordered the taquitos and basically it was more tortilla than anything I then went to get my money back the Mexican lady had an attitude about me asking for a refund imly lily something like that was her name. Really short in size black hair. I explained that by the time I sat down to eat it was past 1am thats their closing time. And she insisted that I should have called the night before to complain that she couldn't give me my refund. I had to be satisfied by ordering something else on the menu. I don't understand where's the manager?!?! She said there wasnt one 😒 everything is racked up in price. It's just not worth it to go there. They used to be good what happened.
