Great location, close to the harbor, very kind and helpful service. Special thanks to the waiter for being so kind. We arrived hungry because we missed the opportunity to have lunch. However, they welcomed us here, we could take shelter from the rain, and on top of that, we ordered good food for ourselves. The portion we received matched exactly what was described; the platter for 4 was indeed for 4 people :) A classic best place, I recommend it to everyone!

If you don’t like salty don’t order the fish! Local catch is sun dried and salted (or viceversa , I forget). Delicious platters of fish ( salty) served with grilled polenta (good), a platter of cured meat and cheese to die for. Unpretentious and honest and very satisfying.
A quaint little family-run restaurant that serves local delicacies of sun-dried fried fish (sardine), polenta, salami, and cheese. Had a memorable and delicious lunch here. Be advised that the sun-dried fish can be salty and has an acquired taste.

Good beer but the wine is only passable. The taster menu is good and the staff are very friendly. I'll be going again.
We were attracted by the reviews. We ordered local dried fish and grilled salami (this is how the waiter explained the dish). Both cane with polenta and were 17-18 eur each. It felt quite expensive but the reviews were good, so we thought we try. The grilled salami dish looked like a plate of pork pieces which were extremely salty and uneatable. Fish was also very salty but that was expected as it said salty but not about the meat. Both came on small plastic plates (again for the price felt strange). We told the waiter and she apologised and said this is the way they are cooked. We did not argue and simply asked to take dishes away. Then we were asked to pay inside. I do not speak Italian but I think the waitress (who was really nice) asked someone in the kitchen if she shall charge us for the dishes we sent away and have not eaten and he said yes and she charged us for the drinks and the food. I did not complain and paid 43 eur for 2 glasses of wine (small ones) and 2 dishes. I think a good owner would at send a replacement dish or offer something else on the house to improve the situation. This wasn’t a cheap place. Really disappointed.
