This place is landed straight from the sky to Newburgh! I’m so excited and happy I found this spot. It was my first time and the host helped me pick my options. I went with the jerk chicken candied yams and Mac and cheese. My mom got the fried fish rice and peas and cabbage. We enjoyed every part of our meals. Got the carrot cake too! I will definitely be back to try more items. This place is also super clean and the service was on point! Stay blessed

10/10 Sea Food sundays was on point I had the Loaded platter it had crabs legs Rasta pasta lobster tail potatoes corn shrimp and much more 👌🏽 will definitely be back !!

The food here is great. I couldn't stop licking my fingers from the jerk sauce on the jerk chicken. I like the Mac and Cheese and fried chicken plus their meatloaf. The food is really good and made with care. The Jerk chicken was really tender too. Check these people out. You won't be disappointed...

Probably the most delicious Jamaican food I’ve had. The jerk chicken with rice and peas was absolutely flavorful. The Mac& cheese was also delicious. Worth all the money. This is coming from someone who lived in NYC and knows their Jamaican spots. Definitely must try!!!

The food was magnificent! I drove almost 40 mins just to get the food! The staff is the sweetest! In my opinion the food is not expensive at all! For an oxtail meal and a fish meal with drinks I paid under $50! The atmosphere is very cozy, and welcoming! I have found my go to Caribbean/ comfort food spot!! I was in town for the day , i live about 2 hours away so i stopped by before i hopped on the highway way. The food was amazing, the portions were great i wish they were closer. The place was closing within the hour but everything was fresh and hot. Definitely recommend!! 5 stars all around.

Awesome tasting food… food so good they can run out of things 2-3 hours before closing, and the food is gone before you can take a pic… Rasta pasta, oxtail, candied yams… everything’s great. But other than that I can’t complain from the brick and mortar store to the food truck. G&H is my go to for EVERYTHING on the menu.

I ordered the shrimp & fish combo with mac & yams. The whole plate was mid. The shrimp was too salty, the Mac lacked flavor, and it was room temp as well as the yams. I came here because I heard people say their food is good. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m from the city and have a higher expectation of food 😂 but this food was okay. I guess for upstate it’s fine.

This is the worst soul food I ever had it is disgusting, fake cheese.frozen greens. If you grew up eating soul food you would know.

👀 I had put in an order of fish* came back tasting terrible I will not be ordering there ever again no food on display for ready to to go order and no scent of cooked food as one would smell walking in the door…🤔🤔🤔
