Too early and too dark to start driving this morning, we stopped here for a pair of coffees and a restroom break before heading along US-17 to explore the South Carolina coastline. At this time on a Sunday morning, Mrs. K. and I were the only ones in the place and that was nice. The dining area was tidy, clean and I was able to crank out a couple of Yelp reviews before the Sun started to brighten the parking lot. The staff seemed in good cheer and no one came in to complain about their drink. That's always a plus.

Coffee and food was great. However, wait was terrible. Our baby ended up screaming so we pulled out of drive through line and went in. The lady working at the drive thru was screaming at my husband and was extremely rude for leaving the drive thru line. We understand it confused her but she was completely out of line with her behavior. The other girl working there was very helpful however.

I am definitely impressed by the service at this location, they’re very friendly and welcoming. My first stop into this location was just minutes before they closed for my partner markout bag of coffee beans for morning coffees at our hotel. The baristas were very nice and accommodating. The next stop was this morning through the drive through, the service was excellent and we were served quickly. They accepted my partner numbers with no problem which was great! We had a quick lovely conversation then I was on my way. Unfortunately as I drove I realized my drink was made incorrectly (missing mocha drizzle which adds the flavor to my drink) no biggie but a little disappointing, especially knowing first hand how important it is to follow drink recipes. My mom ordered the cold foam cascara cold brew, they let us know at pickup that they were out of the cascara sprinkles, again no biggie and I know it’s not the baristas fault but it does take a little away from the drink. Will probably be stopping by again on this trip, it is definitely interesting to experience starbucks as a customer rather than a barista!

I have never waited so long at a Starbucks for service. They are so busy with call/ins at the drive thru, door dash, and call ahead that they don’t even acknowledge a guest standing at the register. When they finally do acknowledge and then take your order, at least 5-7 other orders have been placed in front of the person at the counter so now we wait another 15 minutes to get the food and drinks. If you want good friendly service at this Starbucks you better call ahead.

The window staff was very friendly. Thanks! The venti hot mocha I ordered (see picture) was filled 1 1/2 inches from the top. This is just deliberate laziness. I’m kicking myself for not checking before pulling forward. How was the taste? I could have replicated it using gas station coffee and a hot cocoa packet. I’m actually questioning whether the barista pulled a double shot of espresso or straight up used coffee. You got up to the 2 star because the window staff smiled and genuinely asked about my day.

Waited forever for my door dash then discovered the guy had it behind counter with him getting cold the whole time.. then the girl manager stated that she won’t remake the drink order because it felt “warm enough” to her. Also told me when I discovered my order sitting behind him that “I need to wait” Note no one was waiting on an order and all customers gone, just me waiting in my now cold order. Never had this happen at a Starbucks. Very unprofessional and rude.

Never waited so long in a Starbucks drive thru. I will always have patience for someone making food and crafted drinks, but it was not worth it. We approached the speaker and waited for someone to answer. The lady was very nice once she took our order. However we waited forever to move up 2 car lengths after ordering so we left and so did the person in front of us. Seems as though they need more staff.

Really tried to give this Starbucks a try but they are inconsistent over and over again. Ordered TWO $6 small or tall coffee and I noticed it felt light, opened it and realized both cups were only half full!!! Ugh
