Avis sur Pitfire Artisan Pizza Pasadena
Tasty salad, iced tea, and watermelon mint lemonade with refills. Several good pizza offerings with crisp, thin crust. The roasted broccolini is very flavorful, and the summer seasonal tomato-based dishes are quite good.
A great place to go when the kids want pizza and you don't. It's a casual sit-down restaurant where you order at a counter and then they bring the food to you. The pizzas are great but they also offer tasty pastas and fresh salads. They also have a bar if that's your thing and have great lemonades with original and a seasonal variety.
I always thought this place was similar to Blaze Pizza, so I had never made much effort to try it. After a morning of running errands, I happened to pass Pitfire and decided to get a quick bite there. So glad I did! I was very wrong about the offerings here! The menu has pizzas (predesigned but customizable), but also a number of other things like grilled vegetables, soups, salads, and even spaghetti! They also have a bar, beer, and wine. I got the smashed avocado toast and a side of Tuscan bean soup. Both were superb. Full of flavor, fresh ingredients, reasonable portion size. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I stopped in, and I will definitely be back!
Review written by a 5 year old: The butter pasta is good. I like the wikki stix. I really want a pin. I like the lights and the tables.
It's a little confusing since I tried the place for the first time in commemoration of Pi Day, although everyday is a Math day for me since that's what I majored in. Anyway, when I arrived, there was a stand/podium with drink menus and no host. So I did as any fellow citizen did and followed the crowd. You order at the cash register. I ordered the pesto chicken pizza, the baked mac, and the seasonal pomegranate lemonade. It was delicious! The pizza is 10 inches, which is a good size. Service was great and the staff was very happy and look like they get along really well with each other. I liked that :)
We have a 5 year old and 10 month old triplets, so going out can be really tough or when the restaurant has a great outdoor setting and great staff who are 'on it', eating out can be a good experience. Pitfire Pizza's team is ON IT. They did a great job of anticipating needs and understanding that we asked for things like the check and boxes at the beginning of the meal, and accommodating quickly. We will be back. And the good was great.
I am hooked on Pitfire's MUSHROOM PIZZA🍕. It is so good! I work down the street from here and probably eat this pizza once a week. If you haven't tried it, you better go now. The staff is always friendly and I always order ahead of time to just go in and pick it up. The service is always fast.
Great place for pizza. We've gone here twice with coworkers for lunch. Both times, I've had the mushroom pizza which is probably one of the best I've had - lots of mushrooms. It doesn't really get very busy so there's no wait, but it does take a little while to get your pizza.
DoorDash canceled our order 20 minutes into the delivery and blamed Pit Fire for it. I called and spoke to the manager at the restaurant (Myra)...she took care of the problem real quick. She had one of her drivers send us a new order plus dessert! All on the house 🙏 We always order delivery from there and have never had a problem. So it seemed strange. Anyway...pizza was amazing as usual and so were the cookies!
Great pizza- Large portions and still tasty as leftovers for breakfast every time. Friendly service and the booths are comfortable.
We went to lunch on a Saturday and the atmosphere was extremely noisy. There was a group of kids and their parents celebrating after a game. The kids were throwing pasta at each other and water while the parents discussed loudly the details of the game and never once disciplined the kids. Unfortunately, At some point, I got pasta on my hair! Aside from that, the food was so good that it was worth getting pasta on my hair. The pizza dough is extremely tasty, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings are excellent. There was a nice selection of salads and veggies for those who don't eat pizza. Although the noise was at times unbearable, the food is great and I will come back when there are no after-game parties.
I’ve only ever had takeout before from here and I always get the Honey Bear. Amazing pizza with perfect amount of sweetness and spice. The cheese is great too and the meat isn’t too salty.
Awesome little pizza place. The craft beer selection is pretty good. The pies are artisan style but you can still pick something good. The sidedeck area is dog friendly and a great locale for a beer and a slice of pizza. UPDATE: Very kid friendly along with the types of people that come with that. Food is still good and takeout is an excellent option. And, the ability to order online directly through the Pitfire website is a huge plus.
I’ve actually never had a bad pizza from here- our favorite is the mushroom pizza and I’ve had almost all the pizzas here. I also enjoyed the buffalo wings, which was interesting because it was essentially small pieces of chicken not far from Chik-Fil-A sizes for the chicken bites. I would also add that the service is great which paired with the pizza takes this to 5 stars. I would detract a star for the salads but for everything else, I am a big fan.
Good quality pizza, the usual & some other interesting ones, gluten-free, cauliflower crusts as well as standard thin crust. Also good salads, apps, & sides. Great service, attentive staff. Great for a group. Outdoor seating is comfortable & casual.
Love this place! The employees are so welcome and friendly. I promised to leave a review to support them and the restaurant. The food is always amazing and we always fun a great time with friends and family.
The service was what was the most outstanding. The guy who took our order, Link, was very friendly and readily gave us a recommendation of what beer to try. Our waitress, Aubs, was exceedingly patient with our rather large group and quickly took and returned with our orders! The food was above average 8/10 and the beers were semi exotic and tasty. Warm atmosphere and friendly service made this place a must return for us.
They have really good pizza. I definitely recommend the 4 cheese Mac with bread crumbs it’s so good
July 12 2019 saw my wife and I hold our son’s Wedding Rehearsal dinner at Pitfire. We all had a great time! The pizzas, salads, pasta and drinks were superb. The service was great too. Kelly was outstanding, bending over backwards to see that all our needs were met. Thanks again!
Favorite pizza on the west coast. Very trendy and cool. Great for vegetarians. There is vegan sausage and other meat substitutes that are delicious. Their deserts are wonderful too as well as a fun selection of sodas. The environment is tops as well, totally worth checking out. Flat bread pizzas
Only visiting Pasadena for the day. Decided on here for dinner. Absolutely amazing through and through. Such a great experience.
Awesome vibe. Very welcoming and great service. They can make just about any pizza vegan. Vegan Cesar was so fresh. Eat the whole regular portion. Can’t wait to come back💕
Pizza is at its best quality, starting with the dough. So nice and thin. You wouldn’t think you ate bread. You don’t feel that uncomfortable feeling of being too full. Good quality toppings.
Looking for the best pizza in town? Well then you need to stop by Pitfire Pizza in Pasadena, CA once the of the best Pizza places in the town! Today me and a co-worker shared a Chicken BBQ pizza and it was the BOM! Super hot and fresh and in no time our lunch was ready. The staff at this location is wonderful and very nice. The place is super cool, they have outdoor seating which was the first time for me. Had a great time. So if your looking to just have a quick beer or just grab a pizza, Pitfire Pizza should be your number once choice! A Big thank you to the GM ( Jill ) thank you so much! Hope to see you soon. ~Harry Irvine
My fiancée and I wanted pizza and pasta, and we’d never been here before so we decided to have an adventure. We came in about 2 hours till close so the place was empty, but the staff was so welcoming and friendly! We bought two bottled drinks and asked for only one to be opened, and the server went the extra mile to keep the closed drink in the cooler till our food was ready. The inside was so clean and the atmosphere, even when empty, gave the vibes of a really good hang out spot for groups of people to order tons of food and share all of it. When we got our food, it was pipping hot and it was so worth the wait. The mushroom and garlic pasta was so creamy and flavorful, and their mushroom pizza is now my fiancée’s favorite thin crust pizza. She doesn’t even like thin crust pizza! We will definitely be coming back for future date nights!
Got take out from Pitfire pizza tonight and Jill who took our order was so amazing! She really made sure we picked out the correct pizza (the honey bear) which was incredible! Thanks Jill for the great recommendation! You rock and the food was soooo good!
On my first visit to Pitfire, it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and I got my order in quickly. At lunch the food also came out quickly, and was fresh and flavorful. I had the Margherita pizza and loved the addition of the Calabrian chilis to the traditional pie.
By far the most delicious pizza I've ever had! I recommend the sausage party & boneless wings (buffalo). The staff were very nice, clean atmosphere, and relaxing seating.
Great food and drinks. Nice and clean restaurant with friendly staff and fast-service. Con: Small parking lot and limited menu Pros: Delicious food and drinks. The adult Arnold Palmer was the best, the chicken pesto pizza, the chicken buffalo bites are a must-try.
Went here for dinner with family. You come in and order at the counter and then they bring you your food to your seats. The pizza is absolutely delicious! The serving sizes are quite large and can be easily shared. I would also recommend the mozzarella garlic knots. They are three to an order with marinara sauce and are delicious as well.
The Brussels and bacon pizza is tasty, however a bit spicy, so taste before you give it to ur kids. The kids love the Mac n cheese and meatballs spaghetti! The staffs are very welcoming and friendly, one of the best place to hang out with ur friends and family in Pasadena.
Best pitfire pizza in the area! Got the sausage pizza and had really good flavor.
Vegetarian/Vegan friendly pizza place with a well-labeled menu. The Vegan Margherita pizza was quite good and the Dressed Avocado was fantastic. The vegetarians in my party had pizza, Mac n Cheese, Cheese garlic knots, and the roasted cauliflower. This was a spacious location in Pasadena.
Tasty pizza as always! Sausage party is always the best choice! Yum!
Great pizza and service in a laid back, spacious spot. We had the burrata pizza and the seasonal spinach asparagus pizza - both were excellent, with a crispy thin crust and fresh ingredients.
The gluten free pesto pizza was good enough to share with my friends.
Food was simple and delicious! Everything came out quickly and the presentation was wonderful. Love the ambiance & vibe of this place. The beer flights were such a fun way to drink. Can’t wait to come back!
Fresh pizza is the best! Pitfire is great at doing it too, with toppings that are wonderful. Ordered one of their seasonal selections fresh corn with chorizo.... Yep it's a goodie. Also got their beef salad and a kids personal cheese pizza. They have an adult bar to choose drinks and beer from. The place is big with lots of seating. Parking in back with a lot of it too. This is the second time we have come and they have an art class on Sunday afternoons. A good option if your looking for pizza and something to do.

I think your restaurant is 5 stars. The pizza is delicious and it has a harmonious atmosphere. The service was friendly and fast. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great pizza in Pasadena. So delicious we ate it too fast to take a photo of the full pizza!
Wow, pleasantly surprised at its addicting taste! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in the world! This place is so underrated, it deserves so much recognition! Perfectly executed Neapolitan pizza! Once you try this you won’t crave pizza from anywhere else!
Great, friendly service and food came quickly. I took a chance getting the chicken meatballs leveled up because I came for pizza. I couldn’t be more pleased. Seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I didn’t want it to end. The whipped ricotta was amazing.

Nice pizza joint that offers some speciality pies that are baked just right. The dining space is plenty big for having large groups to dine together. There is also decent patio space outside that's right off Arroyo to get nice views. The service is good and parking is in the back.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Pit Fire. We went there last night for a birthday party. We had the patio area privately reserved. You self ordered upon arrival and a large majority of the food came out at a respectable time. The staff was amazing at handling the large crowd. Only one staff member appeared annoyed (not just with our party but with other parties sitting inside) however, he was still very accommodating.
Pitfire Pasadena has a semi-industrial look with a bright red oven that sets the scene for this vibrant restaurant. When you first walk in, you’ll notice a pretty sizable bar just past the entrance. Don’t let that distract you as you turn towards the counter to give your order. Passed the bar, you find ample seating that’s spread over two levels. Your standard table and chairs are closer to the bar, while the booths are towards the back. They do have an outdoor patio with a little over ten tables with plenty of spacing if you’re trying to keep your distance during the pandemic. The pizza at Pitfire is delicious. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. Pitfire uses a flat and thin pepperoni that can get nice and crispy in the wood-fired oven. The crust is thin and cracker-like. Slightly charred from the wood-fired oven, the crust gives a slight snap when you bite into it. As you get to the back of your slice, you’re greeted by a flavorful crust that’s pretty light but did hurt my jaw as I got closer to finishing the pie. I’m not sure if that was because the crust was cooling or if my jaw was tired. The sauce is a standout at Pitfire. It has a full-bodied sweetness that announces itself with every bite. This is even more evident because Pitfire doesn’t use shredded mozzarella to top their pizzas. Every so often, you’re going to take a bite that doesn’t have cheese, and that’s when you’ll absorb the full flavor of the sauce. Overall, Pitfire’s food is a winner. Add in the incredible service from the team and you have everything you need for a great experience.
This is a good restaurant with nice staff. Food is made to order and they use high quality ingredients. Been picking up doordash orders from here for a couple years and ate here once. What I will say is that both managers are really nice people and good at overall operations but there exists some type of efficiency problem with orders occasionally taking long if there is a back up. This shouldn't be the case because there are alot of people working there at any given time so there is no reason for orders to be taking long. Pasta cooked to order and finishing rapidly only to have to sit and wait for pizza or cheesy knots to finish can be a mediocre experience for customers as well time consuming for drivers. Price of this establishment is a bit more than your typical pizza place but as I mentioned before, they use high quality ingredients
Nice selection of pizzas. Deliver to your table. The outside crust on mine was burnt, but a nice thin pizza. Lemonade was good and there was free refills. The staff was engaging
See my very positive review of the restaurant on Washington Blvd below. ---‐------------------------------------ It might have been an exception, but in this Pitfire restaurant, I received a burnt peperoni pizza which was also very dry. A big contrast and disappointment compared to the restaurant on Washington Blvd. As I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt, I still rated 4 stad based on previous experiences at the Washington site, still big disappointment to see such a difference in quality. ---‐------------------------------------ My review of the restaurant in Washington Blvd: Pitfire is a nice pizzeria offering various pizza, pasta and salad options. They also have some dessert options. The menu suits meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans which is great! During our vacation we tried several of their pizza and pasta options. The pizzas ate fresh and home made. The pizzas are nice and saucy with the right amount of topping. The dough is light and fluffy. The pastas taste amazing and are served with the right amount of sauce. You get parmezan cheese and chilli flakes to season to taste. The restaurant is very cosy and informal in a good way. Staff is extremely friendly. Great place to spend a nice evening!
I was unknowingly charged 3% of my bill for something called Happy & Healthy surcharge. If I didn't look at my receipt I would've never known I was being charged extra. Called to ask what this is and supposedly it's for employees 401k plan. 401k is great but should not be the burden of customers. Employer pay your employees 401k since your prices are not cheap. Take care of your own employees don't ask me to take care of your employees. And put a sign up or ask customers so we get to choose whether we want to participate don't just take our money secretly like a thieves in the night
Great atmosphere, family friendly, and amazing pizza. John, our server, gave great recommendations and service. Would go back again. The only funky part of the meal were the "chicken meatballs" in the spaghetti. It was like eating a tuna ball, just awful. Otherwise, great restaurant overall!
While the pizza is pricey it tastes pretty good and the area around us was great too. A great atmosphere and place to hang out. Definitely recommend
I like this place. The only reason why it is a 4 star and not a 5 star is because I think the quality of the food suffers a bit. The roasted chicken and cavatappi was a little bland. I expected a bit more flavor, but it was still good. I also had a honey bear pizza. The honey bear pizza was too sweet, and there was too much honey that it overpowered the ricotta cheese, the calabrian Chile, and the sauce. I was too distracted by the constant smell and taste of honey. The menu also said that there was bee pollen on the pizza, but that was unnoticeable to me. Otherwise, the place has a great ambiance, the seats are extremely comfortable, and the service was good when it's not busy.
I usually come by during lunch and it never seems super busy. Manager is friendly. Good beer selection. Pizza is delish and the chicken meatballs are amazing. If you're looking for greens they have good broccoli & they are not stingy with the portion size. I crave the spaghetti & meatballs about 3 times per week. They serve real Parmesan cheese too. Order ahead if you're in a hurry.
This chain offers good quality food at competitive prices, service is excellent and the location is ideal
Running round, running errands. The name had caught my attention before. Pulled over for a slice of pepperoni and cheese pizza. Amazing! I saw the spaghetti and meatballs on the menu and had to try. Amazing! Flushed it all down with a nice, crisp pale ale beer named: fight on! Met Jill, the manager at the bar working. She stopped what she was doing just to welcome me and all my “chatter.” A huge pizzeria with all the right props and ambiance. I will be back asap…… Happy February!
Pizzas are legit. So far has not disappointed. Beef salad is delicious.
The ((BBQ) chicken pizza was fantastic!!!! Coupled w/the Ceasar salad, you can't go wrong. I came when I was done at a nearby aapt., so they had just open the doors for the day. I'm not sure how business is in the evening, but they have a full bar, a constant flow of customers, (during my time there), prompt & friendly service-I just wish there was a pitfire/fireplace on the inside, so it wouldn't feel so cold. Great place g or family/friends to grab GOOD pizza & more!!!!
I was in the area and decided to check this place out. Staff is friendly. Service was fast. I decided to get the sausage party pizza. It was very good.
First time dining in this restaurant. The place was full but I must say that we did not wait too long for our food. The seasonal watermelon and cucumber salad was light and had a nice kick. The little gem Caesar salad was lightly dressed and was not too salty. The pesto chicken pizza was delicious. All thumbs up for the rich umami field mushroom pizza. There was no room for dessert. This is a good place to go when craving pizza!
OMG! The food is absolutely amazing! The macaroni and cheese is bomb! The personal pan pizza and it's toppings was amazing. The Buffalo wings were absolutely delicious and mouth-watering. Enjoyed patio seating near the fireplace on a Saturday afternoon
Great pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy, flavorful crust. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. Service was a little slow at times, but the quality of the food makes it worth visiting.

I've driven by Pitfire many, many times, so one day, I thought I'd give it a try. Very confusing entrance, but I made it in. No arrows or order here sign. I walked up to a gal working there and she pointed to the corner (no words, just pointed). Okay, not good, but I'm hungry. I walked to the corner and was helped by a very nice young lady. She walked me though the ordering process and I ordered my pizza and drink. It's very industrious inside. It's okay, but the sounds echo inside and it's noisy. I thought about eating outside, but it was a little hot that day. After quite a long wait, my food was ready! Pizza was tasty. Size is good - it filled me up! Price ... I need to get used to this post pandemic pricing, because it was expensive for what I received. So four stars, because pricing isn't much different than other pizza places. Food is good, I liked it. Service was good, except for the gal who didn't say anything. It didn't feel very clean inside. The table was sticky and many of the tables had not been cleared. It wasn't busy and there weren't a lot of people inside, so I don't know why they didn't clean up. It's a restaurant! Would I go back? I guess so, but I'd have to be in the right mood.

Shared a pepperoni pizza (which was baked to perfection) and the kale salad which had a lot of flavor and a ton of almonds and golden raisins. Food was really good but I put 3 stars for the atmosphere... I literally felt like I was at Chuckie cheese... There were so many children there screaming and running around. I don't know if it was because of spring break but I literally could not hear myself think. Maybe it's quieter at lunch time
It was my first visit for a birthday party .i ordered a blue steak salad. It was good .but i ordered tomatoes. They where ok. The steak was good but it needed to chopped up .so i asked for a real steak knife. They didn't have one..service was good .bathrooms clean. Its not a full service set up .. the pizza looked good .i would give it another try
Margherita pizza was burned and the flavor was bland. I was hungry so it did the job but I wouldn’t order again. Also cost me $28 for a large thru grubhub, which was overpriced.
Pizza is absolutely fantastic but considering how many people were there it seemed like a big deal to ask for utensils and plates which I had already asked for over phone. I tipped before realizing that I didn't have them so when I asked, he almost snapped , made me show him that there weren't any utensils or plates, then played a game of telephone with 3 others to get them. The last girl who was told to get them for me, had no idea where to go and get them but eventually with the help of the first person I asked, they got them for me . I asked for hot sauce since it's free (not ranch) 3 to be specific since i got three pizzas. She only came back with one and said there's only one per order.... I had no patience and literally had to go back to work but I wish I never tipped them considering that. They seemed entitled to it and never said thank you. Next time I'll go to dominos or pizza hut directly across the street for their better service, price, and almost exact same quality..... I would give this place one last chance to see if they're any different and maybe I came in on a bad day but j doubt it. We'll see. Try the big Sur pizza though, it's really good but considering the size id get at least 3 pizzas for every 2 people or 1&1/2 per person
Great place for the kids! The portions are slim and wish they served a little bigger portions. My 4 year old chowed down the kids pasta and ordered another one because it was so small. Mind you the 4 year old is on the smaller scale of the percentile. Overall would definitely go back. Service was decent but could use a little more refined customer service.
I have visited the Pasadena location several times. Mid week and weekends. Food is a bit pricey for the level of service one gets. Multiple times we get the food but never refills on the drinks without having to walk to the front counter and ask. It never fails that the table wasn't wiped down from the last party who sat there. The last time it took 3 tries to get the pizza order correct and the second one was even burnt. They did their best to make it better but took 45 minutes to get it out.
We go here at 6 PM on the 2nd Monday of every month for a meeting. We have tried most of their food. Their cooking is inconsistent. We have had burned pizza, undercooked sweet potatoes, and food with too much and too little salt. If they get it right, though, the recipes are delicious. Their service is also inconsistent. We always ask for water, and we sometimes get it. The music is loud, and the sun glares through the big, west-facing windows. Of late, we eat elsewhere and only order beer and lemonade to drink during our gathering.
A popular spot located just across from a Gold Line station, Pitfire specializes in gourmet thin crust pizza. As it happens, I personally don't care much for thin crust, so I prefer their sandwiches and pasta dishes. My most recent visit was awfully noisy--so much so that it hurt my ears after a while. The pizza our party ordered took longer than it should have to arrived, probably on account of the heavy customer traffic, although I did see parties arriving after us get their orders before us. The food quality is still very good, and they make awesome lemonade. Just be prepared for a long wait and a loud environment.
With so many pizza places in Pasadena, I think reviews go more based on what's your preference of how pizzas are made. My review is also based off of how the workers treated me when I went in to pick up a pizza I ordered for my brother-in-law. The employees were chatting and openly discussing how they didn't want to be there and we're going to call out that coming weekend. Then when my pizza was ready I asked if I could get napkins and if it came with packets of chili flakes and cheese and the girl rolled her eyes with attitude before handing me 2 napkins. My brother-in-law loves the pizza there, but personally I won't be back.
Great place but the VEGAN- I got the vegan margarita- I chose not to get the vegan sausage bc it was a completely different flavor that I wouldn’t want on a pizza. I really enjoyed the cashew mozzarella…I wouldn’t go out of my way for the pizza

The food and service were excellent — unfortunately, they were completely overshadowed by the absolute breakdown of basic parenting that unfolded around us. We were there in mid-December to celebrate my son’s 12th birthday with family we hadn’t seen in years, a moment that was supposed to be meaningful and memorable. Instead, it became a lesson in unchecked entitlement. Not long after we were seated, a group of parents arrived and promptly abdicated all responsibility for their children. The kids screamed, ran between tables, disrupted other parties, and treated the restaurant like a playground. The parents sat back, fully aware, fully indifferent, watching the chaos as if it were someone else’s problem — which, apparently, it was. As I watched my son handle himself with maturity and respect, I felt proud to be his father. That pride stood in stark contrast to the embarrassment I felt witnessing adults who hold the title of “parent” but clearly reject the duty that comes with it. Pathetic to say the least. If this is what passes for acceptable behavior now — letting children rule public spaces while adults look on smugly — then the future isn’t just disappointing, it’s bleak. Great restaurant. Fantastic staff. But no amount of good food can compensate for an environment ruined by people who mistake public tolerance for approval.
I work nearby so I often order food for pickup on my way home. It's usually pretty simple since I order and pay for everything through the app and just give them my name when I walk in. Today I had a strange experience with the person who handed me my food. When I walked in, his greeting to me was cold and kinda rude. All he said was "Sup?". I told him I placed an online order, I gave my name, and that I was there to pick it up. He seemed annoyed with me and as he was walking away, with his back turned to me, he asked if I already paid for it. I said yes and I don't get a response back or any acknowledgement that he was going to go look for my order. He came back with my order and I mentioned that the last time I ordered they forgot the salad dressing, so I said I was going to check to make sure there was some in there. He said, "I don't care", and turned his back to me and walked away. Is this what customer service has come to? I LOVE their steak salad, and for that alone I'll go back. But man, that was an awful customer service experience.
The tables were all dirty and there was one family there with their kid just running all over the seats with his shoes. Whatever I guess. Maybe the food will be worth it? Mac and cheese sauce was completely separated to the point where there was just a pool of sad milk at the bottom and all the cheese was clumped together on top, not sticking to any of the macaroni. Pretty gross all around.
The first two times I went, I told myself that this place is hip, convivial, and interesting and therefore must be good. The third time I went it finally occurred to me: the pizza is not very good and some of the salads can get bizarre tasting. Crust is always soggy. Pepperoni pizza is at once salty and flavorless. Chicken pesto pizza is passable. It's a little pricey. A beer is $10.
Well this location is definitely mismanaged. This rating is for the manager/management. I had a really bad experience while picking up my pizzas (not even dining in). Had to wait 45 minutes at the location to pick up my online order while the pizzas were just sitting there. The staff knowingly gave me cold pizzas (that were sitting in open for 10 minutes). They need to invest in better order management system (like the one across the stereo at Shake Shack).
Bland Chicken Meatball Spaghetti. Cheese Knots burnt. Grilled artichoke was draining water like I squeezed a sponge. Adult Arnold Palmer was watered down and had to ask where it was. Hibiscus Strawberry Lemonade lacked hibiscus. The house salad was the best thing we ate. Waitress initially brought us one napkin for two people. Also it was freezing cold in the place. First time, last time. Will not be back.
Very disappointing. We ordered the PB&J pizza. Pineapple, Bacon & Jalapeno. The pineapple was so thin it look like contact lens. Maybe 8 paper thin slices of jalapenos. The radishes were thicker than the Canadian bacon. Most slices did NOT have any. I just don't understand why they have to be so cheap with their toppings. Also ordered the garlic ginger wings and there was Zero flavor and came with some weird mayonnaise for dipping. Yes mayonnaise. So $40 later I am giving them a one star instead of one finger. Dine
Deplorable. I paid $65 for a pizza and serving of pasta. (Taxes and delivery etc). What I got was a pizza that seemed like it was 4 days old. It was cold, dry and inedible. The chicken was dry and rubbery. It was covered in parsley which I asked to not go on the pizza. The pasta was rubbery and old tasting as well. Threw most of it out. First and last time. Would not recommend.
I can’t really leave a review .. since our food doesn’t seem like it will ever arrive. We are the ONLY people here, and ordered 4 pizzas - 2 of them kids’. Not only was the girl who took our order incredibly rude and dismissive, but our kids are now crying from waiting so long to eat. If the food ever arrives (before we simply walk out), I’ll comment back on that. Note: 2 kids pizzas, 2 adult pizzas, 2 sodas …. $56. FIFTY SIX DOLLARS. UPDATE: are you kidding me? Kids pizzas are about 7 inches across and truly disgusting. Falling apart and loaded with sauce. ** When a kid refuses to eat a cheese pizza, you’ve got a real problem with your product. Total disaster. Never again. Slow, expensive, rude, inedible. I guess I know why were the only people here now while there is a line down the block at Shake Shack next door. Coming here was a costly and frustrating mistake. Not sure how this place can even stay in business with such poor service and quality.
The service is abysmal, utterly unfriendly, and inattentive. The food is inconsistent as well. I love the flavors of the Honey Bear Pizza, but it depends who is making it. Wednesday lunch time seems to be the only time it’s made right. The staff is a revolving door of waiters that look like they hate working here.
Every single time I order from Pitfire, without fail, items are wrong. We were actually using a $25 gift card to order our food because our order was so wrong last time, they gave us a gift card. Husband went to pick up the order and when he got home, order is wrong. It’s incredibly frustrating. We won’t be returning. It sucks too, because the food is decent.
I used to love their pizza but every time I order it the crust is a little burnt, so today I specifically asked them not to burn it cause it’s my favorite part of the pizza. Well the pizza was so burned it was inedible, something like this SHOULD NOT leave the kitchen!!! This is NOT edible. I am so mad, never ordering again and telling everyone not to order from this place. Very sad, because their ingredients are good, but apparently they can’t tell when a pizza is so burned it shouldn’t be served. Embarrassing
Mouse rat across the restaurant right when we starter eating. The fold tasted bad. Better to go to Domino's across the street from this place
First let me say the food was horrible. It arrived cold and tasteless.
This location is absolutely disgusting. We dined in and every surface felt extremely greasy and unsanitary. We ordered the Buffalo chicken bites which were not bites but chicken tenders that had tendens all throughout, causing us to get disgusted by the super chew pieces. The glasses were dirty, the pizza was below average and honestly lack luster. I would never return to another pitfire pizza.
My wife and I have been regulars at this Pitfire Pizza location for some time now, and have been going to Pitfire in general since 2012 (DTLA location). Typically we share two pizzas and a salad. Came on a random Tuesday night, place was slow, and thought what could go wrong? Well I think the pictures pretty much say it all here - - both of our pizzas were essentially burnt to a crisp and were not edible. Occasionally, there is some charring, but it is never inedible like it was tonight. On top of that, service was pretty much non-existent (it normally isn’t fantastic to begin with, but usually a little less surly), and clearly, the person responsible for quality control fell asleep at the wheel tonight. Granted this isn’t a gourmet dining establishment, but something like this shouldn’t have ever left the kitchen. The only thing that tasted great was the Kale salad beforehand. Leaving hungry and out close to $50 for two burnt pizzas, a salad, tax & tip, we headed to another restaurant to curb our appetite. Sadly we won’t be back.

Food was no bueno! Ordered a margarita pizza and got a cheese pizza covered in uncooked spinach, wings that were made of something that was definitely not chicken, and the place was freezing!
