This is a five star place for me. Of course , they're accurate , this has been a very friendly experience. Based on corporate isn't the one making the drinks I would not be upset at a partner for making my drink not exactly the way I expected , because life has variables. Unless they made a mistake, you're drink as always gonna be a little different. So please they're doing the best that they can.\nAnd I believe this is a great team that cares about their customers. I've been drinking starbucks for over thirty years consistently. Most Starbucks, I will not come back to based on customer service, but this shop I'm excited to come back again. I will complain about the prices, though. it's not the shop's fault. I sold my stocks because of some things that corporate is doing. Sometimes I regret tipping. Not.\nHere I reloaded my card just so I could give a good tip. Thank you for the pup cup! Cheers
The young lady at the window has the best personality i have ever encountered at a drive-through. She was so sweet to my girls that just wanted to tell her how pretty she is. 5 stars to her and her beautiful soul
Starbucks consistently delivers a fantastic experience, whether I’m grabbing a quick coffee on the go or settling in to work for a while. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and a modern, cozy design. The staff always greet me with a smile and demonstrate genuine care in preparing my order just right. I especially appreciate how they accommodate customizations without hesitation. Whether it’s a classic latte or a seasonal favorite, the quality is consistently excellent. The variety on the menu ensures that there’s something for everyone, from rich espresso drinks to refreshing iced beverages and delicious pastries. I also love the convenience of mobile ordering, which makes the whole process seamless and efficient. Overall, Starbucks remains one of my top choices for both quality coffee and a pleasant environment. Highly recommend!
[February 2025 update.This is the Little Starbucks That Could (And Does!) No matter how busy they are, like today's Sunday morning slam, the orders are fast, perfect, and friendly. We love you too, Walnut Street crew!] It's a funny thing about this location. Several years ago, we avoided it because of consistently poor experiences. Something radically changed 3-4 years ago, and this has become our favorite Starbucks. If you read my reviews, you'll see that we visit this chain all over the country and internationally. I've been a Starbucks fan for over 20 years, and I've converted a lot of people along the way. (Stop sneering. You know you like them, too.) The Walnut Street location is easily among the best we've tried. Whoever manages this store has really gotten it right for consistency and, most importantly, hiring the right people. A special shout-out to Travis for always being so friendly even when they're packed, which is often! A recent renovation has brought the inside up to date, clean and modern. I graze from all over the drinks and food menus, and products are consistently great. [With the one exception of that dreadful, discontinued olive-oil-coffee swill, which was not the fault of any Starbucks location. No wonder the CEO was given the bumrush disguised as a golden parachute. I digress.] Be sure to try the 2024 new Turkey Sage Danish, and you can never go wrong with a Sugar Plum Cheese Danish or Baked Apple Croissant as a special treat. You will never have fresher products or better service than the quaint little location on Walnut Street. A+ (p.s. I don't understand the poor reviews. We're here 4-5 times a week at all different times. It's always friendly.)
Its small, cozy, and while its decently loud the environment feels quiet; its easy to get lost in store with the menus tiny lettering and multiple drink options, but if you order online you can play with all the drink options they have without the stress of people behind you. Theyre food is always good and sits quietly in your stomach, leaving you with a satisfying feeling afterwards. Even though prices have dramatically increased, the prices arent bad, yes it adds up quickly but for a $9.00 venti latte its pretty damn good! Notice: If youre lactose intolerant, please let them know, choose a lactose free option, or take a pill; from one lactose intolerant person to the other... 😅
This Starbucks location has limited seating and is peaceful, ideal for working or reading a book while enjoying coffee. However, I'm not quite satisfied with the cleanliness of the tables here. Each table seems to have crumbs or leftover coffee straws. It's surprising that the staff here doesn't seem to pay much attention to the cleanliness of the store.
It was quite busy here on Friday morning. I waited 20 minutes for my order, but when I received it, I was quite disappointed with the way the staff prepared it today. I was unhappy; the drink wasn't full, and the cold foam was too watery. While I understand you're busy, I think that since customers have made the effort to wait, you should pay attention to the quality of the product instead of rushing to finish the job with poor results. I've experienced this three times when ordering here, and I think I should probably say no to ordering from this place again. $6 for a drink isn't worth it. Never.
I’m really disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks location. I placed a mobile order that said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I even arrived 5 minutes early, expecting it to be on time. Instead, I ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my drinks. What’s even more frustrating is that after the long wait, the drinks didn’t taste good at all. It felt rushed and poorly made. I understand places can get busy, but the wait time and quality did not match what was promised in the app.
Save yourself a headache. New staff constantly. Too slow. Too small. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered ahead said 17 minute wait. That’s fine, it’s a busy Saturday morning. Sat waiting for 20 minutes past my pick up time while drinks were passed out left and right. Had a young girl circle around with an iPad to everyone checking on order during and was told mine was being made. Another 10 mins go by no order. Finally one of the very few employees worth a damn noticed and specifically asked someone to come check. Long story short my order sat in a different section (drive thru) for nearly 45 mins according to the sticker. I got an apology and an offer for a new drink…but only after I pointed out that it had been sat too long.
Nothing for vegans beside a plain bagel. Coffee, if you get it black, always has a burnt taste.
Waited longer than usual for my drinks even though ordered ahead of time. Even after being patient and nice to them, coffees had no flavor. Disappointed.
My daughter whom is struggling with her pregnancy was craving a hot chocolate. I guess Starbucks is only good at making coffee. Her hot chocolate had no flavor, very watered down and luke warm not hot.
I will never come to this location again. The two boys working the drive thru at 6am on 12/8/25 should be fired. They said they didn’t have my order and insisted I go through the line again because they refused to look for my order. They were giggling like I’m some kind of stupid. When they were the lazy ones not looking for my order correctly. The line was to long to get back in so I got down and as soon as I walk in they say we found your order. So annoying!! These little boys deserve to be fired with their terrible customer service.
I normally don’t write reviews, but felt compelled to share this terrible experience and accuse this Starbucks of false advertisement. I came into this Starbucks to purchase the cup shown in cup display shelves. When we went to purchase then at the cashier we were told the cup wasn’t found in the system, we needed to wait until the store manager arrived to the store to see if she could help us. Then she removed all the cups from the shelve and pace in the counter. We waited 20 mins before realizing no one was going to help us. So we approached the store manager to express our concerns and if anyone was going to help us. She then stated the item is not showing up I’m not able to sell you the cup, I have to do a lot of paper work to find the sku number. They clearly made a mistake on putting cups in the display and offered no apologies or actions to correct for their mistakes of placing their product for sell and then denying the sell to customers.
They didn't have any iced coffee made. After making me wait at the window for 5 minutes told me to pull around where I'd have to wait longer. My total was 5.15. I gave them 10.15 and they gave me 4.99 back. This place is a joke.
Literally would not sale me a Trenti Ice Water. I even emphasized that I did not mind paying. Was told if I don’t like it to talk to Starbucks about it.
Placed a mobile order 20 minutes ahead, when I got to the window I was told that I should have placed it earlier because they just got the order. I am sorry that it takes 20 minutes for the app to send yall the sticker but this does not really seem like my problem. Once we got our drinks they looked like they had been sitting there for quite some time. Ice was melted, stickers on the cups were completely soaked, and cold foam had nearly completely sunk to the bottom. I get that working in food service is stressful (believe me I get it) but there is no excuse for doing your job poorly with an attitude.
The mobile app should enhance convenience for both the store and the customer. However, my two experiences were unsatisfactory. On my first visit, my daughter placed the order while we were within a 5-minute drive. Upon reaching the drive-thru, I was informed by an associate that online orders must be placed 10 minutes in advance. This seemed illogical to me, as placing the order in the drive-thru line would reduce the time required to fulfill the order. Why is a 5-minute buffer considered a disadvantage? I didn’t make a big deal out of it at the time. However, on my second visit, I decided to follow the rules and waited until the app indicated that my order was “ready” before joining the line. Despite having three cars in front of me, I was informed that they were working on two drinks and that my order was not ready. The associate explained that they had only received the message 6 minutes ago, which was actually 10 minutes, but there could be a system delay. She also suggested that I pull around someone to bring my order out. Clearly, the associate had no idea which car I was driving and provided no directions on where to park. Despite this, I followed the directions and waited an additional 15 minutes as 6 cars went through the drive-thru. Finally, the associate came out and looked around aimlessly until I drove up to her and asked if it was my order. She was polite to say the least. To be honest, the additional time is not a significant issue if it is expected. Using the mobile app isn’t with it at this location. I will consider visiting another Starbucks to see if this is the new norm or if it is just this particular location.
I ordered on my mobile app this morning on my way to work because it was raining and I did not want to go through the drive thru thinking it would be packed because of the rain. When I got down in the rain the doors were locked. I knocked on the door no one looked at me and this one girl came to the door with a paper under her arm as she was trying to get the tape to post a "café closed" sign, and she didn't even acknowledge that I was standing outside the door, so I got in my car to go through the drive thru to get my order. When I got to the order kiosk the lady told me they are only taking mobile orders, so I informed her that I already did a mobile order. When I got to the window and told her my name to get my order( I always bring my own personal cup) she did not even grab my cup she had me hold it outside my door window as she pours it in my cup, I told her that it should have whipped cream on it and she turned away and grabbed a cup that my cup fit in to get my cup from me and put whipped cream on top. She put so much whipped cream on it that if I did not have a domed top then I would of had to take the whipped cream off because it would of not fit. This was the WORST experience I have ever had from a Starbucks. Other Starbucks might have one rude person, but to have everyone there rude is unacceptable. If they are so miserable working there then maybe they should find a job that is not around customers!
Waited for 3 minutes at the counter, and there was 2 person just ignoring us and doing their jobs like we didn't exist. No greetings, smiles or kind request to be patient. Just full of negative energy in this place. They use to have more friendlier staff but todays experince was horrible.
