Exquisita la comida, las porciones podrían ser un poco mas generosas, pero quizá perderían el toque y el sabor, es una delicia, y la atención es magnífica, totalmente personalizada, atentos y agradables. Recomendado, si hay alguna duda acerca de los platos , crean que que es una excelente oportunidad de probar algo diferente pero muy rico, y que no es extravagante. Muy agradecidos por la atención.

Hay que aprovechar la opción de restaurantes a la carta que tiene Bahía Príncipe y este es uno de ellos. Muy recomendado. Recomendado reservar con antelación al viaje, el resort tiene una App y por ahí de puede gestionar.

El mejor restaurante del Bahia príncipe. Comida peruano-japones de calidad con sabores muy diferentes y buenos a la vez. Cristian, el camarero que nos sirvió, un muy buen camarero, el mejor, servicial y atentó sin ser pesado y sin bromas como la mayoría de aquí, nos explico todos los platos perfectamente y nos recomendó unos que estaban deliciosos. Felicidades a los cocineros por esos sabrosos platós y a todo el personal de mashua.

Para nosotros ha sido una grata sorpresa y una gran experiencia. Amable y eficientemente atendidos por Cristian. La comida es muy fina y muy buena. La primera noche éramos 8 comensales y todos opinamos lo mismo. Hoy éramos 4 y también nos ha encantado. Sirven a elegir un entrante, una sopa, un segundo y el postre, todo a un muy alto nivel.

​¡Una experiencia gastronómica increíble! Este restaurante de cocina fusión peruana-japonesa nos sorprendió gratamente. Los platos son muy originales y los sabores, una verdadera delicia, diferentes a lo que solemos encontrar. Fue, sin duda, el restaurante temático que más disfrutamos. ​Como punto a mejorar, el restaurante original estaba cerrado por obras y se ha trasladado al interior del restaurante Portofino, algo que no se nos comunicó claramente. Esto nos hizo dar muchas vueltas y casi perder la reserva, y supimos de otras personas que sí la perdieron. Sería genial que el personal indicara mejor la nueva ubicación para evitar confusiones. ​A pesar de este pequeño inconveniente, la visita merece muchísimo la pena. ¡Volveremos!

Agradable lugar para cenar a la carta en 4 tiempos. Estilo en fusión peruano oriental. No quedaba otro restaurante a la carta en nuestras fechas. Pero no nos arrepentimos del lugar. Muy rica la comida, ambiente agradable y tranquilo. Atención buena, climatizado el lugar ( no como el buffet kukulcan) cena a la 7 pm buena hora. Recomendable lugar para ir a cenar algo rico, tomar una buena bebida o comprar algún vino. Vale mucho la pena. La sopa de segundo tiempo muy muy bueno. Las láminas de pulpo como entrada muy ricas, el wok muy bueno. Vale la pena. Recomendable lugar.

La fusión de 2 experiencias culinarias en no solo lugar, si amas los sabores y la comida te recomiendo ampliamente reservar en este lugar, te vas a sorprender. La comida se presenta en 4 tiempos, siempre pidan el cóctel del día, por lo normal son sabores dulces que te abren el apetito, no dudes en pedirle una recomendación a quien te está atendiendo y seguramente vas a querer regresar para probar lo demás, la gente se comporto de forma amable y atenta, e incluso nos dieron un postre extra para asegurar que probáramos todos los disponibles.

Nuestra cena fue maravillosa. Desde que entramos al restaurant hasta que nos fuimos. Tienen mucho cuidado con las posibles alergias, el servicio es de altísimo nivel y la comida cumplió altamente nuestras expectativas. Mención especial para Miguel Ángel y Geraldine, que estuvieron siempre atentos a los detalles e hicieron de nuestra velada un disfrute total.

Cristian was such a wonderful server. He was very detail oriented and informative about our food. He started us off with a pisco sour, which was an appropriate introduction to our meal! The food itself was excellent. I loved the to castonera. What a wonderful way to showcase white fish. For the soup, I enjoyed the parihuela nippon. The tempura cilantro is creative, and the broth really brought out the taste of the squid. My main was the steak. It was cooked to perfection, and the tenderloin was a good meat to pair with the flavourful sauces and purees. Lastly, for dessert, I had the apple mouse topped with meringue pieces. The apple added some freshness to the mouse and meringue gave texture. I would have just wanted more meringue pieces. Overall- wonderful experience. I highly recommend this Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant!

First thing, at the time of this post (10/16/25) the restaurant is under construction and it has moved to the space of Portofino’s. After spending 15 minutes trying to find it, it was absolutely worth it! We were running late due to the wrong location listed (both Google Maps and the Bahía Príncipe App had it wrong), but they welcomed us and we got sat right away. We will say that from start to finish the flavors were amazing! Smoked octopus is a can’t miss starter. The main courses were spot on, and we savored the well balanced flavors. We had the Sake Salmon and the Sea and Land. The cut of salmon was larger than we expected, and melted in your mouth. The beef and shrimp in the Sea and Land were tender and cooked to perfection. This needs to be on your list when visiting Bahía Príncipe!

More people need to eat here, seriously. I don't know why the restaurant was half empty other than people being nervous about Peruvian/Japanese fusion (I also had no idea what that would entail). But everything we ate was delightful. I'm not a fan of peppers and yet I ate a whole plate of seafood cooked in them. The meat was tender, the food delightfully seasoned with a Latino cuisine flair. It was just good. As with almost all restaurants here the food wait time was slower, but you didnt notice because wait staff were consistently checking in with more drinks and more bread to hold you over until then. It was a fantastic experience.

Absolutely love this food. The idea of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine mixing together is perfectly executed in Nikkei Mashua. All seafood is amazing and fresh, providing unique tastes and flavors. Shoyu ramen has a small portion, but the rest of the meal fills you up. The noodles and pork are tasty. Chicken udon is fabulous and flavorful. The teriyaki steak is delicious with the rich and perfectly balanced sauce. The atmosphere is superb, with all of our food coming quick. Since we told our server we were tight on time, I’m really glad to see that the team could be quick and still provide amazing food.

We had a Pisco sour cocktail. Then chose your 4 course meal. Excellent server who went over the top with service and education about the food. If only my pictures could provide taste. My favorite part was the tamarind sauce on battered shrimp. The dessert was also heavenly.

Muy buena comida, aunque como es lógico nada parecido a la sazón de Perú. El servicio un poco lento aunque muy esmerado y cálido por parte de los meseros. Una mención muy especial a Alfredo nuestro mesero quien se esmeró en brindarnos una excelente atención y lo logró.

Sitio muy acogedor y tranquilo , el servicio muy atento y amable . Tuvimos el gusto de tener al mesero Haruey que estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento . En la comida estaba muy bueno todo, yo soy más de más echo que crudo . Comí sopa de marisco y salmón , todo muy bueno y en su punto como lo pedí . El postre riquísimo , aunque sé que es un restaurante de fusión eche en falta como postre los mochis postre muy famoso en los restaurantes japoneses pero si pudiera repetir volvería de nuevo

Los makis estuvieron deliciosos. El wok no tenía nada de especial. Presionaban mucho para escoger platillos especiales y vino.

Un par de meses antes había ido a Japón y os puedo asegurar que este restaurante de japones lo único que tiene es el nombre. Sin embargo la comida nos gusto bastante, bien presentada y bien elaborada. El servicio muy bueno, atentos y rápidos. Es el restaurante que más nos gustó del complejo.

Visited the restaurant in Coba and had an overall fantastic experience. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. The diverse flavors and quality of the dishes truly impressed me. Additionally, the service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff members who ensured a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere added to the enjoyment, providing a lovely setting for a memorable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good food and calm atmosphere. They also have a super wine menu(bottle) for purchase.

Lovely experience at this restaurant, I wasn't sure what to expect after only having cerviche once before. The whole family enjoyed all courses, every dish well presented and full of colour. It's worth giving this restaurant a try to experience new flavours.

Great presentation. I had no idea what I was eating which was kind of fun. Seafood was great. The soup was salty but good. The appetizer was also good but the texture confused me. Most people will love this place. I would certainly go again if given the opportunity. Probably would look up info on what each item was first. Wonderful staff.

Rica entrada ceviche de atun, ramen tmb, el resto no tanto. Reservamos mesa a las 20 ya q íbamos con un menor de 2 años. Tardaron 45 minutos en traer bebidas y la comida del niño. Una hora y media y no bajan servido plato principal. Pregutamos cua to iban a demorar xq nuestro hijo estaba muy cansado y hacía hora y media estaba sentado y recién ahí trajeron los platos y me bebida y apuraron el paso. Lo peor es que el camarero vino a decirnos de forma algo maleducada que no era su culpa sino que la comida se había demorado.

Fue a la única reservación que pudimos asistir, la verdad dejo mucho que desear un mezcla extraña de comida peruana y japonesa que duraron muchísimo en atenderte y servirte el platillo aunado que la porción que te sirven es sumamente pequeña y el sabor no es de los mejor, si tienen oportunidad de reservar en otro de los restaurantes temáticos haganlo mejor y este déjenlo como última opción.

Ate here last night, we tried this restaurant for the first time and were pretty disappointed with the food. The only good part was the chocolate and hazelnut dessert. My entree was cold mashed potatoes wrapped in nori with imitation crab and tomato on top. My wife was cold potato stack. Both very unappetizing. My hearty seafood soup had one piece of overcooked squid and tasted like paprika, my main was pork belly, but the fat had not been rendered and was about 2/3 of the serving, so not much meat. Thankfully the desert was great. Service was pretty bad and the welcome drink is extremely sweet. We will not book again.

Stuff was polite and attentive and presentation was nice. Now when comes to food, it was way below my expectations. Ceviche was pretty much tasteless, Ramen was nothing but cold water with soy sauce, surf and turf acceptable but can be so much better. Octopus was really good but my salmon dry and overcooked when I asked for a Medium. Don't get me wrong, ambience, service and presentation does give you an upscale sense, but food was mediocre. We liked the resort buffet better.

Pésimo servicio, llevamos media hora y ni si quiera a venido el primer plato, aparte somos una familia y nos han puesto separados habiendo sitio de sobra en el restaurante, además mi hermana es intolerante al gluten y llamamos hace una semana para reservar y nos dijeron que podía comer bastante cosas y cuando hemos llegado nos hemos llevado la sorpresa que solo puede comer un plato. En fin cinco Estrellas y totalmente decepcionados

El peor restaurante al que fui en mi vida. Llegamos 10 minutos antes del horario de la reserva y había cola para entrar, nos atendieron 45 minutos después del horario pactado, en todo ese tiempo NADIE se acercó a tomar el pedido, ni siquiera a traernos un vaso de agua, como era el último turno, ya casi no había comida, y la que había, yo creo que ni los perros la comen. Salimos del lugar sin probar bocado y sin poder ir a otro lugar, ya que estaba todo cerrado. No pierdan el tiempo en ir a este lugar a pasar hambre.

Overall Quite disappointed. I made a reservation but no one updated changed restaurant location to me, wasted 30mins on the street, Humid, Hoooooot and sticky weather. We were soaked by sweat. But receptionist pointed out that we were late 30mins. He was ridiculously rude. Waitress name Jenny, her service was good but I’m sorry to say this, all food was really disappointed, mashed potatoes wrapped with seaweed, ramen with too strong pork smell and too sweet main dish. Only dessert was not bad. This wasn’t Japanese food.
