This is not your typical McDonald's. The first thing you see upon entering is the cappuccino machine and pastry counter. There is seating on 2 levels. Bathrooms are clean, unlike many fast food restaurants. However it'll cost you 1 euro to use them.

we came here to eat as a family and each ordered a meal from the walk up kiosk that they have in the lobby. they had a chicken burger and a beef burger that were advertised as the promotional items so we ordered one of each but I don't remember the name of it. we also ordered a happy meal which came with pineapple and that was a nice surprise. all of the food was prepared quickly, correctly and it all tasted really good. the staff was also nice when we picked up our food and they would ask if we needed anything else. i thought this mcdonalds would be a little busier because of its location but luckily we had a good dining visit.

Many time...I always eat in here coz have cozy place in middle city with shopping centre.. And the service very fast.. So no need wait so long... I love it 😍

All good, was looking to eat somewhere away from the crowds and this one was not too busy at all. Easy to order via the screens and we did not have to wait long for food. Plenty of seats available over the 2 floors. Food was as expected, all nice and hot.

“The best eggs and breakfast I have had in all of Italy”-my wife. After being in Italy for 2 weeks my wife was craving eggs, bacon, and pancakes. After eating here she said it was one of the top meals she had in all of Italy. She tried to order another platter but I stopped her because we were running late to go see the Pope. She legit got in a fight with me and didn’t talk to me the entire time we were at the Spanish Steps. That’s how bad she wanted more. Thank god we made it to see the Pope because he blessed us and probably saved my marriage. This is a true story. Edit: After a couple of days back in the states she said “yes that was still one of the best meals I had. I stand by it”

This McDonald's location in Rome is exceptionally busy. On a positive note, the salads and other food selections were quite good. I did observe a menu difference compared to what I'm used to: the standard beef burger, which I would call a 'hamburger,' appears to be served as a 'bacon burger' in Italy. Really nice cakes....cheesecake, tiramisu, macarons all at half price of nearby resteraunts. Spacious, air-con. Going for breakfast tomorrow to try their coffee! But no gluten free options.

Nothing special about this McDonald's other than the location. It's actually one of three in the area. Only thing I have to say is, the bottom level was extremely cold, despite being there in the middle of the summer.

You can recharge your phone while eating here. Most tables have electric sockets.

Located just few minutes away from metro station barberini and right in between Spanish stairs, Di Trevi fountain and Parliament Castle. Definitely a comfortable place to get your snack on the go and keep exploring the beautiful city of Rome

A perfectly solid locale for the golden arches, food doesn't punch above its weight class or anything but it's safe and reliable. Got the food without a hitch and reasonably fast at that. Very spacious as well, have to give some credit to a place that feeds upwards of 200 mouths with seating in such a crowded environment.

I came here because I needed to sit for a while and felt less guilty for taking up a seat in McDonalds. I had a breakfast sandwich of some kind and it was typical McDonalds so it will meet your expectations. The place is clean and cool but it is a McDonalds after all.

Great place! If you are traveling around be aware they have plugs and usb plugs so you can charge your electronics! I have loved the bacon and cheese coated fries but if you have other dietary option, you can just have coated in cheese. Be in Rome, eat like a Roman - try the coffee with the gelatino - it’s an 1.20€! It’s at a walking distance from Spagna and fontana Di trevi!

It’s your typical Mac Donald’s food, the service is really good. The problem is the people that enters and sit for hours sipping their Coca Cola so you can’t find a place to sit! This is not a bar!

I don't claim to be Einstein but trying to order a Big Mac meal and a cheeseburger using the screen is very hard. When I sought assistance the Assistant ordered 2 of each. So I had to start again, go to pay for it and another place to collect Next we will have to cook it ourselves.

If you are a paying customer, you can go to the toilet for free with a code, which some member of staff will give you. If you are not, you are paying 1€, which is ok, BUT, that toilets are really gross. Toilets automaticaly flushes while you are sitting on toilet

Food was good, different than US. Have to be a paying customer for the bathroom usage but no TP and squatty potty for the women.

Bad experience with the crew. Terrible service, the team were so grumpy with all clients. My family and I ask for dessert but a lady was ignoring us. Bathroom don't have soap. The down bathrooms are closed, and it was crowded.

First time on this McDonalds in Rome (via tritone)....service was fast and effective. I had Mc Crispy Bacon and it was superb and delicious - burger meat was awesome. Fries were really good as McDonald fries all over the world. Plus drink large. The "con" was cost a bit high 8.5 €. My companion had tasty Basket- good but bit greasy ( chicken wings) and mcnuggets + fried cheese balls - 9.90 € and need to pay for extra fries and drink ~ 5€. Place clean and well maintained - good set up for self order or order at counter and served by McDonald's crews.

Only good thing about it was coffee. You can also charge your electronics with usb-a or plug but it was very dirty place and toilets didn't had any toilet paper (you had to pay to use a toilet)

Not too busy. Tablets are fun for the kids to have a break from the touring crowds nearby, and refocus before you go back out into the colossal masses of cars and bikes and shoppers and posing travelers, beyond. Severus is fast and friendly even for those roaming about but speaking english only. A beer with your combo, for adults, to go with your double Mc Chicken big Mac which is meh to eat but fun to order and try if you are familiar with McD in general but never had this before (could I just have a 6-piece what are essentially giant fried chicken nuggies?) It's nice that the McCafe is separate and at the other end of the resto - in case you just want a coffee or one of the surprisingly not-bad cheese cake slices. Oh... I'm done charging my phone and recharging myself, so I gotta go now. McByeeee.

It is g place to eat. However it doesn't have many seas and tables. To use the bathroom you have to buy something (you can enter with a code in the receipt). In general ths employees are not gentle (they are centered in their job) not even a smile. McCafe didn't have someone to sell. I have to better one's in Rome. Online and sign on the door states open at 7:30....I waited until almost 8 outside while being stared at and finally left. Wish I had a chance to try the food as I was in a rush and trying to grab a quick bite. Maybe next time.

The don’t have vegetarian options. The sandwiches I ordered one was cold and one hot. They are cheap not offering enough napkins

Big Mac was cold, had very little sauce so it felt dry. I know it's the holidays and there's too many people everywhere but everything was filthy and nobody was cleaning. Bathroom system is chaos and they are far from clean.

Good and clean location, but that's it. No service at all. After ordering at the pillar, your order will show on a screen when it's ready to pick up. Well, our order was ready to pick up and when we got to the counter there was no order or employee at all. Our order number was removed from the screen and our order was not there yet. After 10 minutes an employee came to the counter to give out our order. We had ordered a coffee as well, but it was not with our order. No info from the employee where to get the coffee. We found out that we have to pick up our order at the counter and then we had to walk back to the McCafe to wait for the coffee on that side, while our food was getting cold. The employee at the McCafe was looking unhappy as well and I felt bad for her that I had ordered a coffee while she seemed to hate preparing coffees..... Sorry ma'am! Will not happen again.

This McDonald's needs work. Staff is not friendly or warm. The mcCafe attendant barked at me that "orders are taken at kiosks only," and the manager made me wait to pay while talking at length with someone standing at the order delivery counter (no food exchanged hands) even though there was no one else monitoring the cash payment station. (Three other crew stood behind her doing nothing without looking my way.) When paying, the manager assumed I didn't know I was required to make two separate payments for two separate transactions and treated me rudely in the process (unnecessarily corrected me). NOTE: The sign for the cost of the toilet states that customers need to purchase a toilet "ticket" at the cash payment station or pay 1 euro when utilizing it. The sign led me to believe I needed to buy two tickets (spouse and me), but the receipt simply provides a code, which is the same code no matter how many transactions are made. The male bathroom was atrocious (there was much urine on the floor of both stalls with toilet paper strewn inside and outside of one commode. The soap dispenser wobbled). There was free WiFi. The lobby was good for sitting, but open doors let smoke enter from the outside. There are too many negatives to patronize this establishment.

I've been to a lot of McDonalds in my time, but honestly, the breakfast was the saddest breakfast I have eaten in some Time. The bacon was about 5cm long and the eggs were so over cooked they were nearly dry. Ive had this breakfast at many other McDonalds over the years, and no where near this bad. My kids didn't even eat their pancakes as they were like cardboard. This is saying something... Unfortunately This is the lowest star review I've left on Google, but it was really not enjoyable in anyway...

This has to be the slowest McDonalds in Rome. It took more than 20 mins for them to make 2 bacon and egg muffins. The workers were just standing around looking at their phones while the food was ready to be packed and I had to get their attention to get them to pack my food.

Worst Mc Donald's I've been until now, and I traveled a lot. Dirty place, tables and floour never cleaned (I wonder if it is even healthy to eat there...), horrible bathrooms, lazzy personnel...You even have to pay for ketchup. This is Roma and Italy, everything is about money. Pass your way and find another one.

I am not going to comment on food. It's pretty standard in every mcdonald's. However paying 1 euro for a toilet, one cabin has smeared EXCREMENTS on the walls and toilet and the other is locked, with someone probably sleeping inside, because three other men are waiting in line, is something I have not seen anywhere else in the world. Never could you find a free place, it's too small. Terrible service, the workers try to rip the tray with the check out of your hands and only then you realise, that they do it on purpose- the toilet costs 1 euro and you can't use this euro on other purchases. Worst place in terms of security. Anyone visiting this restaurant, please take extra care of your belongings. My bag stolen here on 28th Dec'2019 in that I had all my travel documents, passports of all my family member. Horrible and bitter experience with staff, they did not even bothered about when I reported my loss. After loosing everything With great difficulty i was able to come back Home with my family. Local police good for nothing.

Huge scams with the restrooms here: Guest comes to use the restroom, the employee greets them and tells them to enter 1 euro (not true, guests can use the number on the receipt to enter for free). The guest enters the coin and the employee quickly taps their card, forcing the gate to open. After that he presses the cancel/ coin eject key to drop the coin and pocket the money. In our visit, we saw the employee pocket 30-40 euros (in 20 minutes). I filmed the entire deal, but google will not let me upload a video for some reason. Anyone coming here, don’t pay for the restroom, there is a code on the bottom of the receipt. Us it to enter.

Toilets are absolutely disgusting. No soap and no toilet papers. You wonder if the food handlers wash their hands!! Far far away from McDonald’s standards! Italian style.

I visited this Mcodonalds on 6/23 with my family in my recent trip to Rome, after seeing Trevi fountain. After I sat at my booth with my backpack, someone stole it right from me without my knowing. Beware for thiefs praying on your belongings. Also don't sit at the booths that have open backs on the seats. Someone could reach over from right behind and just steal your belongings. It was crazy and I thought I could be safe with my belongings sitting right next to me on my booth, only to find out that someone could steal my backpack. Be very careful here.

Outrageous. They charge €1 for using the toilet (you can use a code if you order something), but the point is the toilet is a joke: the barriers are ridiculous, they remind me of The rise of the Machines - randomly getting out of order and flapping open and closed. However, the biggest ‘highlight’ is that the toilets are not clean, there is no soap, in either the male or female toilet. After several requests to provide some, we got nothing but indifference from the staff. Never again.

Cold fries again .. like allways huge queue to the toilets.. they need a system put into place so the toilets are for paying customers only..

The personal was really rude with us. We were a big group and everyone consumed they own things, some of us even got a second plate of food. But the personal kicked us out saying that there were people standing, a worker even insulted us to our face and told us to leave when there were people still eating. Awful experience.

They don't know how to make coffee.

Poor service and poor food. Order took over 15 minutes to be ready and pancakes and coffee were stone cold. When I told the staff that the food was cold, I was snubbed and they just looked confused and angry. Even the manager was rude. Whilst I was there, 4 other customers complained about the slow service and poor quality of food. It’s a shame that the service was so poor as the architecture of the building from the inside is beautiful. We won’t be returning.

Worst experience ever!!! Our order was forgotten. Waited 25 min. at a "fast food" restaurant. Happy meals drinks and fruits were false. Hamburger was packed upside down. No apologies we received. Tall, thin lady at area 1 was too rude. Store manager heard my complaint but did not interfere.

Very unpleasant experience on Christmas Eve. Around 18:30, while we were calmly finishing our meal, an employee approached us in an aggressive and agitated way, shouting at us to “go home” because they had to close. There were no warnings or announcements about needing to leave by that time. She stood close to our table, watching and shouting until we left. This behavior was directed especially at us, even though there were other customers. I was with my 8-year-old daughter, who was frightened by the situation. Completely unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable behavior—especially in front of a child. Customer service like this is not acceptable.

McDonald’s management team please notice: The manager of today’s shift tried to rob us with 40 euros on purpose. Apparently he does that to a lot of tourists. BEWARE. We gave him a 50 euros bill and he wrote on the receipt that we gave 10. He didn’t give up until we forced him to open the cashier and get the bill out.
