We had heard they had good quiche. We ordered quiche, Lorraine and French onion soup. It was absolutely delicious. We will come back!! Update, we have come back several times. The food & service continues to be outstanding. Tried a bacon, cheddar, mushroom omelette today, comes with red potatoes (so delicious) . Amazing.
I got a black forest cake here from the display for my birthday. It was delicious, I think this is the only place I'll get my birthday caked from now on. It didn't have any writing on it, but that's fine because I brought it to a restaurant where they cut it up and served it to pieces to my guests. So it was perfect! I should have gotten some pictures, but we ate it all.
Its located near Trader Joe's in Carmel Mountain. The pastries and desserts are freshly baked and super delicious. The have combo meals of a sandwich and soup. We got half Spinach goat cheese quiche and half tomato bisque soup. Also half French onion soup and half French bread dip in sauce. We had the raspberry almond croissant and coconut white macadamia chocolate chip for dessert and everything was sumptuous.
They got the Croque Monsieur sandwich just right. High quality ham and cheese, very good bechamel sauce and it tasted authentic, yum. Standard salad greens were served on the side but the dressing was exceptionally good. Like a creamy mustard vinaigrette with the slightest hint of curry powder. Best dressing I've had in ages. Though I didn't have any dessert the wide selection of pastries and cakes in the case looked delicious. The place was very clean including the bathroom and the servers were helpful. No indoor dining for Covid but plenty of outdoor seating. I'll return and report back.
Delicious salads and French desserts. Nice menu of traditional French café food. Finding a parking space during lunchtime might take some patience as this shopping center is a popular place. You order at the counter, and they'll bring the food to your table. It's a small place, but feels large with the surrounding big, glass windows. There is some outdoor seating which is on the sidewalk facing a busy parking lot entrance, but the patrons don't seem to mind. Located two stores down from Trader Joe's.

My husband and I used to have breakfast date every Friday. The food is delicious and their coffee is decent. They also have a great dessert selection.
Best place to grub a breakfast or have an afternoon Tea/Coffee. Custom service is 10/10. They welcomed us with a big smile. It was on a Sunday afternoon. The cashier was very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seats. I love the outdoor environment, very relaxing. The 🍰 is delicious 😋. It's always a pleasure to visit this Bakery. Everything is fresh and price is reasonable. I highly recommend it.
We've eaten here twice. Food is amazing, but the service is so-so. I would like them to ask if it's to eat in offer a ceramic cup for our coffee. I didn't know they had ceramic cups until I saw other customers with them. We've had two pastries and the spinach quiche all of which were fantastic! Staff was friendly but slow both times. The food makes this place worth the mediocre service.
Had a great breakfast with my cousin! Enjoyed the food and especially the company. Great location-Trader Joe’s, Chico and Soma nearby. Winning combination!

The food was delicious and prices were fair for the area. The pastries and sweets by the front looked great! However the service needs improvement. Overall, staff were not polite and we could here their personal conversations behind the counter from where we were seated. Our food took quite a bit of time to get to us and a lot of tables were left unbussed as guests were leaving the restaurant.
We enjoyed the dog friendly patio on a beautiful day. I had the short rib benedict with fruit instead of potatoes and it was excellent! My husband had croissant breakfast sandwich and loved it. Then we shared the bee sting puff! Oh yum! Service was a little slow and many tables were unbussed, so the choices of where to sit were limited. The coffee was great!
The pastries are supper good and good location! When I’m craving pastries and first place on my mind is Champagne Bakery! Once I met some staff not friendly that’s bcoz my Asian accent however it’s not a big deal for me bcoz the pastries in your shop can make me smile ;)

Exquisitely FRESH croissants made all the difference!!! These croissants were baked TODAY; not last week or yesterday a’la coffee places. The sandwich came with a well toasted split croissant filled with chopped Andoville sausage, overlaid with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and garlic - if you like, omit the garlic. The sandwich was wonderful; but there were no napkins to wipe away the oil from the meat and melted cheese under the sandwich. The fries were wonderful- 3/16” square cut and PERFECTLY cooked. Remarkably the 3/16” cut made it easier to use my fingers to eat the fries one-at-a-time; I found myself slowing down and enjoying the total experience… but there were no napkins. Finally because the sandwich and fries were such a delight, I ordered for dessert a Raspberry-Almond Croissant. It was deliciously tasty with another FRESH croissant—. Oh the really fresh croissants are a joy … but there were NO NAPKINS provided. Thus, an easily 5-Star encounter is missing one. (Please click 👍🏼. Thank you. )

I tried the Desert Pear Lemonade! So sour but I loved it. My wife and I split the crab eggs Benedict and Mixed Berry French Toast. The bread wasn’t very sweet but went so well with the lemonade. The portions are pretty big. We really could have shared a single plate. My suggestion is to stick with the Croissant Breakfast Sandwhich. Unless you’re feeling adventurous.

The croissants are big but not at all layered like French croissants; quantity does not equal quality. The chocolate croissants not any better: basically a croissant cut in half and filled up with chocolate paste or perhaps Nutella. The palmier was a little better but very dry (yesterday production?? ). In short, we are disappointed if we compare with the Champagne of the early 2000s. We are going to try French Oven ...

The staff is friendly. But that's about all I can say. The cappuccino was likely made by someone who has never made a cappuccino before. The plate and cup were also heavily chipped. The chocolate croissant was literally a cold croissant cut in half and heavily smeared with Hershey milk chocolate. The lemon cupcake was redeemable as it needed more lemon forward flavor. It's really disappointing for a bakery to serve these items.
We ordered 3 times this week. First order fruit tart what was delivered via DoorDash fruit muffin Second order this time the muffin was ok even if not ordered what DoorDash delivered was a plain tart Tonight Friday 17th at 7pm Tried to order the fruit muffin in person was told they didn’t have them. ok. Ordered a blueberry muffin a pumpkin muffin and an eclair. Paid open the box for the wife got a blueberry muffin and an eclair. No pumpkin muffin. If you order here do it in person and always check before leaving. Also talked to the person behind the cash register for a couple of minutes with the bakery person staring to witness. The checkout clerk turns and is surprised proceeds to ask me what she can get me. Due to these interactions I wonder if there is an auditory issue. Except DoorDash work off text and the bakery was entirely empty except the clerk the baker and myself.

Im very big on pastries and cook many of them myself. What the other reviews say about the dessert is unfortunately true. I had an eclaire and it's not a true eclaire. I don't know what you would call it but the bread is not made of choux pastry, there was barely any custard and the chocolate ganache was too thick and not a true ganache but hard chocolate. Also custard should be delivered via piping bag, not have the bread be sliced in half like a sandwich. Overall very disappointed. Also the latte was scolding hot and tasted like brewed coffee with milk. Will not come here again.
We have been to the Champagne Bakery Cafe 5 times over the last 12 years and each time have left not just disappointed, we’ve left POed! Confirming why we don’t go there. Today was the last straw we will never return. I received an absolute terse attitude from the young lady taking our order at the register, like she was put out by us being there. Twice our food sat on the counter until it was cold because it’s the responsibility of the person taking the orders at the register to deliver food to the tables. So if they are slightly busy, like at early lunch today, forget it, your hot sandwich will sit there getting cold until she’s available. Today, the third time, I retrieved our food myself which seemed to insult them. Then, when needing condiments for a once hot sandwich, I had to wait in the line again as the person making latte’s actively ignored me, then pointed to me to get in line again for condiments as they were too busy. While waiting in line, your food gets even colder! if your not going to staff it, why not call out numbers or names and have customers retrieve there own food? Why not have condiments out for self service? Today the food tasted greasy like a dirty grill and the presentation had no pride, see photo. A previous time they lost our order. After waiting almost an hour, I waited in line again to inquire. Although it was the same woman she did not remember me. To prove I had previously ordered food, I had to logon my on-line banking app to show we ordered. ALWAYS, get your receipt! (they will ask if you want it!) This has been a consistently terrible experience at the place. Only go here if you’re up for frustration and greasy cold food. Negative stars if I could.
Incredibly disappointed by their desserts. First time buyer, took 2 slices of every cake they had today for my wife's birthday, barely ate a couple teaspoons of each as they are absolutely disgusting. Vanilla Eclairs are basically chocolate bars - they have such thick layer of chocolate that you can't feel anything else beside the barely chewable solid piece of chocolate. 1/10. Tiramisu cake is named 100% wrong, nothing in it reminds of tiramisu, it's just "some cake" that does not taste any good. 2/10. Black Forrest cake - overly moist cake that falls apart and tastes bad. 1/10. Three-layer chocolate cake - tastes like 3 layers of some vegetable oil, the worst of the worst. 0/10. Buttery Croissants were delicious though, 10/10. I would understand if those cake slices were $0.49 each - you get what you pay for, but for $7.49 it's unbelievably bad. $60 thrown into trash.

Very disappointed! I just ordered 2 Chicken Pasto takeout, and found the half of each of them (in a box) has no chicken meat at all but onion and veg! What the quality of food!!! so so disappointed and will not order any food from them, and no recommendation. Period! 😡sorry, I should take pictures. But...

Came around 10 mins before closing for just a few ready made items. The door was locked and curtains lowered while people ate outside. Please change your hours so I don't drive out of the way after a 12 hour shift, thanks 🙏
