It is a very simple place where there is only one table for about 6 people and the others eat standing up, but since the tripitas have to be eaten quickly before they get cold, one eats very comfortably. The order of tripitas costs them $35, as you can see, very economical.

It's a traditional spot in San Luis Potosí, located in the San Sebastián neighborhood. Enjoy Mr. Juanito's recipes. You eat standing up, using tortillas as utensils. Tripe, offal, pork rinds, bone marrow, and snout make up the menu, served by the plate or by the taco. If you still have room, they sell fritters at the entrance.

History without a legacy. A place steeped in history, but also one where the absence of its creator is palpable. It still retains its original flavor, however, the service leaves much to be desired. They don't serve lemons, I suppose to cut costs, but in a dish as unique as tripe, I consider it essential. It remains a reasonably priced place; you can eat well on a budget. Undoubtedly, the establishment has great potential to maintain the impressive reputation it built over time.

I had a bad experience. I paid for three takeout orders, and when I got home, only two were left. I live far away, so it's not worth going back; it'll cost me more. I'd like to think it was a mistake, not maliciously. Anyway, the tripe was delicious.

The tripe was good, but they limit the vegetables, there were no lemons, and they didn't have a good selection of soft drinks. It was expensive, and worst of all, there were cockroaches.

Apparently it has a lot of customers and a reputation, but they're not tripe tacos, but udder tacos. The tortillas were poorly heated (sometimes they even break), the salsa was more vinegar than salsa, the vegetables weren't fresh, and the whole thing gave off a sour, spoiled smell (even though I went on a Sunday not so late). I couldn't even finish the tacos, and honestly, I wouldn't go back.
