Mangiato bene locale pulito servizio molto buono.
I gestori cordiali. Servizio ottimo. Ci torneremo
We had the best Gnuc de la cua we've ever eaten. Compliments to the young chef. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.
Fantastic restaurant run by two very sweet people. They welcomed us kindly even though it was late, and we had a wonderful meal. The place is small, but the menu is varied, and the atmosphere is friendly.
Excellent restaurant, meticulously maintained down to the last detail. We went twice for dinner. Both the first and second courses were superb. The wine list is both national and international. What more can I say? Go, you won't regret it.
Intimate atmosphere, very kind owners, adequate portions, excellent value for money, truffle menu to try but there are also less expensive dishes that are still delicious
Wish you a good luck in your restaurant, kind staff, good service and good food❤️ There was a cute little baby may god bless her❤️
We dined in this little corner of the world for three consecutive evenings because the food was really good... pizzoccheri and gnocchi de la cua are a culinary experience, I recommend them and the meat is also excellent... the young owners are really good.
Service super 👍
Very nice local place. Ended up there on a way to Marilleva and being late for a dinner there. Great food and precious service. We’ll be back
The atmosphere is that of an old trattoria, but it is so well kept, it is a plus, the service is precise and kind, the local dishes are served in the right portions, I particularly appreciated the meat, tartare and sliced steak... very tender and excellently cooked, the desserts are excellent, the price is reasonable.
Delicious regional food and cost atmosphere
This easy-to-reach restaurant (on Mendola Highway 42 in Stadolina) is the only place with a traditional mountain decor, complete with a tiled stove. The dishes are truly high-quality! I went for dinner with friends. The appetizers were wonderful, the first courses delicious (I recommend the gnocci de la cua), and the second courses exceptional (the black pepper tagliata was superb, the tender fillet steak was incredibly tender, and the juniper burger was top-notch). We didn't order dessert.
Osteria d'altri tempi con pochi tavoli e un menu con piatti tipici della valle. Buon i piatti e le porzioni. I prezzi sono leggermente superiori alla media della zona ma val la pena.
The atmosphere is refreshing and the menu is interesting, particularly the Piode, a short pasta dish with melted butter... very interesting. One room is nice, the other is a bit undermined by the cold lighting. The engraved stone cutlery holders are very nice. The prices are average, with interesting wine prices.
We ate very well. The typical dishes of the valley. The portions were adequate (for the first time in the valley, we found the portions to be adequate). Sliced beef was good, tagiatelle with ragu (the pasta tasted homemade) was very good, and grilled tomino cheese was good. The price was perhaps even reasonable here in the valley. We paid €15 each with half a liter of wine and water.
Okay, okay, but nothing special. The final bill was unsurprising. All the ingredients were good, but perhaps they still need some work. The chestnut dessert... no. The white LED lights definitely need replacing as soon as possible, as do the seats (which I'm sorry about because they're obviously new), which are too low compared to the tables. This place will definitely improve over time.
€22 for just two ribs (yes, really just two) seems excessive to me: the meat is good, but nothing special, and doesn't justify the price. €17 for a HALF portion of a first course (even if homemade) is still too much. I considered giving it 3 stars, just like the cover charge per person: a napkin and a paper tablecloth, nothing to justify the price. The entrance was a mess with diapers and bags, the kitchen was extremely messy with its doors open (at least they should close it if it's not tidy), and despite there being only two tables to serve, we had to wait a long time. In the end, I decided to give it 2 stars, just like the cover charge: more consistent with the quality, service, and the overall impression of disproportionate prices. It's one thing to spend on adequate quality and quantity, which is welcome. But when both are missing, it seems more like a way to get money without offering the right value. Add to this the fact that we didn't order dessert: it's €7 to €9 per portion, and given what we'd just eaten, we weren't confident. We didn't want to risk finding ourselves faced with yet another half-portion at an inflated price. Finally, I read the responses the restaurant left to the negative reviews: in short, instead of accepting the criticism and learning from it, they prefer to deny everything and argue back. And then it's natural to think: if you don't want to listen to customers... you won't get very far.
Decent food, very long wait times, slightly high prices for the service, quality/quantity of food, and location. But the most disappointing thing was the approach and treatment we received. We had made reservations for about 10 people. Unfortunately, there was an accident involving part of the group, who were therefore unable to come. We were careful to notify them promptly by phone, even though it was unfortunately close to the reservation time, and despite this, we decided to go just to minimize the inconvenience to the restaurant. The result was that we were reprimanded for the unexpected event and, to make matters worse, were charged for the cover charges for those who couldn't come. What's disappointing is the mentality: a few euros for the cover charge doesn't boost anyone's income, but it makes the difference between keeping a customer or losing them.
A nice, small, and rustic place, family-run, with delicious fresh tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. But charging €22 for a plate of tagliatelle where the porcini mushrooms are practically grown outside seems excessive to me. The same goes for the desserts.
