EXCEPTIONAL! As soon as you enter, you can feel the true flavor that only a pub can give you! Wide selection of both food and drinks, and special mention goes to the beers! EXCELLENT! I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to all pub lovers. I haven't tried the food except for some fries, which weren't really good, but I'll fix that as soon as possible!

A pleasant discovery, I'll definitely be back, firstly because the menu is immense, and secondly because the quality lives up to expectations. Seriously, the menu is vast, with something for everyone; I've never seen so much choice. The service is surprisingly fast, and the staff is friendly and polite. The place was packed on a Thursday, when other places in the city are usually emptier during the week, so I assume it's popular and it's always best to book.

We went to this place for a thirtieth birthday party. We were all blown away by the place. It deserves a 5-star rating because the interior is very cute and quaint, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and fast. We ordered a mix of appetizers, burgers, and a prosciutto and brie sandwich. The quality of the meat and cured meats was excellent. We also ordered a two-liter lager beer, which was very good and not diluted with water like many places do. Excellent value. A beautiful place, different from the usual pubs in the city. A menu with 104 sandwiches with different types of meat. Veal, Piedmontese Fassona pork, and vegetarian options. There are also fish options with salmon sandwiches or the tasting menu with Fassona tartare, agnolotti, and madrogne salami with fries. There are beers for all types and palates, from classic to craft. The staff is very knowledgeable and makes you feel at home. I will definitely be back to try some sandwiches, and for this evening I settled for the tasting menu, so to speak. It was fabulous.

We've been to this restaurant twice, and I have to say the fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. The tuna steak and the mixed fried fish stand out. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They're excellent.

AL Rock Café is a place that lives up to its name: rock music and themed decor convey a very rock vibe! The service was excellent: very kind and helpful in recommending beers and really quick in taking our orders and delivering our food. At the register, we asked to split the bill in half, and from €61, they rounded it up to €30 each. It may not be much, but it's a kind gesture, much appreciated. As for the food, as I said, we spent €61 for two, having each received a medium beer, onion rings, a burger, and a dessert. I wasn't expecting a different price. I did, however, expect better food quality, especially the onion rings and burgers, which are supposed to be the signature dish. The onion rings didn't seem homemade, but rather defrosted and poorly fried; they also lacked salt. I found the burgers on the menu too many: at first glance, it seems like there's a lot to choose from, but then you realize there's too much to even begin to understand all the different types of burgers. Anyway, in the end, we ordered pulled pork with TOMA, homemade BBQ sauce, and braised onions, and an Angus brisket with grilled vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, pumpkin cream, arugula, and cheese. The pulled pork was good, with an excellent smoky sauce that gave every bite just the right amount of juiciness. The Angus brisket, on the other hand, was too little and dry, completely overpowering. The burgers were served with rustic potatoes, which were good but a bit bland and, I assume, also frozen (not homemade). Finally, the desserts, the real highlights: a violet parfait and a melt-in-the-mouth tart. Both desserts were expertly prepared, with the semifreddo at just the right consistency and temperature, and an intense violet aroma, and the cake with a warm, soft center, perfectly balanced with the sweetness and bitterness of the chocolate. In conclusion, AL Rock Café is a respectable pub, with a suitable atmosphere and welcoming staff. It's a shame the burgers, and especially the fried foods, didn't live up to expectations. It's a bit unusual for a pub like this, but I really appreciate the desserts; they were absolutely worth it; they're probably the star of the menu. All in all, I recommend giving AL Rock Café a try, perhaps making a reservation, as otherwise you're likely to be sold out on weekends.

The sandwiches are always plentiful and delicious, accompanied by the wave-shaped fries I love. The waitresses are always kind and helpful, making dinner even more enjoyable. All accompanied by excellent rock music. Highly recommended.

Nice place with a huge variety of dishes. The beer tap on the table is nice. The bacon in the sandwich could be improved; it wasn't crispy, but rather chewy and still had a lot of white fat.

The menu is fantastic, especially the burgers; I love the variety. It's the only place in Alessandria where you can get over-the-top burgers, and considering the quantity and abundance of ingredients, the price is also reasonable. The burger itself is good, but not exceptionally good; it's not particularly juicy, even when cooked medium-rare. Unfortunately, the place is very small; reservations are mandatory, and on weekends, you can make a reservation at least a day in advance. The beers are a bit of a downside. The Granda beers are good, but only in cans or bottles. The draft options are disappointing and/or expensive.

We've been disappointed with the dessert lately. The apple strudel wasn't worth the price. Just two slices of apple strudel on the plate, without a scoop of cream or ice cream to accompany it. The two stars are because, after all, it wasn't so delicious. Overall, a bit pricey.
