Tip: The regular size tacos are large and come with guacamole and grilled green onion. Consider ordering the regular tacos instead of the large ones if you prefer less toppings.

My wife and i loved the place, friendly staft and the food is good
2nd time in NY , nice quick spot before closing hours. Friendly staff.
We really enjoyed our meal here. Our waitress ( Giselle) was so lovely. We had nachos with steak - tacos- chicken - fish- tongue- and more . You can bring your own beer or wine which was lovely- they sell Jarritos. Everything was really delicious . We sat in the back dining room which was nice and cozy. Thw desserts were amazing. - Tres leches - and 2 others were all amazing.
The food is so delicious !! Top tier tacos, hands down !!
Fabulous food, we went back for a second night during our NYC trip. Every we had was great. The Beef tongue tacos were great the meat just fell apart in your mouth. enchiladas had tonnes of flavour. I actually had a mix up I'm my order and was served the wrong dish but it was a plate I had being thinking about. Just went with it and it didn't disappoint. I just took it as a sign that I was supposed to have it.
Legitimately the best tacos I've had. They're also pretty affordable (2.75 a pop for the large) and have a considerable amount of meat, these are not tiny! I had the roast pork, fried pork, chorizo, and steak tacos and they were all great. Other than the food, the decor was nice if not a little cheesy, and the service was good as well.
This is Hands Down My Favorite Spot in NY to get some Tacos ❤️ The Tacos Are Always Good EveryTime I Visit 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Easily the best tacos I've had in NYC. The bistec and the alpastor are standouts in my opinion, but you really can't go wrong with any of the tacos offered here. Each taco comes loaded up with guac to balance the delicious salsa options. The flautas are great too - crunchy with plenty of filling. Can't wait to come back.
Delicious authentic Mexican food! Had a steak burrito as well as a cow tongue taco. Food came very quickly and considering it was around 3 AM that’s a bonus. Wait staff is quick and nice. As for decor there are various TVs playing novellas. I recommend this as a late night food spot to anyone in the area. Affordable and tasty!
The best tacos I’ve had in the entire city. Yes, even better (and much cheaper) than Los Tacos No. 1. What other place gives you free chips & salsa with your order? You can’t go wrong with any of their meat options, but the carne asada & al pastor are the sure-fire favorites. Their regular tacos come with a heap of guacamole. Their tostadas are also authentically delicious!
Delicious, authentic tacos!! We had the spicy pork, shrimp, fish, birria, and goat tacos. We also got the green chilaquiles which we highly recommend. The birria came with consomme which was PACKED with meat. Everything was delicious. There’s a reason why they’re so popular here! Thank you Tacos el Bronco!
My first time here in my continuing quest for the best tacos in NYC. I took it as a good sign that there appear to be a number of Mexican restaurants and grocery stores in the area. And sure enough, this place is the real deal! They boast an extensive menu that I would love to explore but today was about the tacos. Ordered the bistec, campechanos, and carnitas. First off the corn tortillas - the foundation to any good taco - were on point. And they were all filled to the point of bursting and smothered with guacamole. All were delicious and served with a choice of green and red hot sauces. Of the three, the carnitas was probably my fave - nice moist shredded pork that had just the right amount of crispness to it. I’ll definitely be returning here.
What an evil business! Everytime I go my wallet is emptied! I keep ordering something new each time... tacos al pastor, the pozole, and the tostadas, and I just keep throwing money into this place. (Es una broma, que fantastico)
Great quality tacos. I do not eat meat but the restaurant accommodated me with some veggie tacos. The quantity in each taco was satisfying. The restaurant should consider serving tacos de nopales (cactus) as another vegetarian option as they already serve nopales as a side dish. This would add another vegetarian/vegan option to the menu and increase traffic. But the food was delicious and the restaurant is well kept.
I was recommended here by a friend who said these are the best tacos she knows. For sure, they are the most voluminous tacos I now know. The sheer amount of meat they have in the tacos make it worthwhile, even though it has raised its prices like everyone else. As a disclaimer, I came here at night, close to 9pm. That was probably my mistake, since the meat is a bit dry in the barbacoa tacos by then. I ordered nine tacos also, and I was absolutely overwhelmed by how generously sized the regular ones were. I somehow managed to finish. I got the buche, suadera, and barbacoa. The buche was the best by far. It's pig stomach and remained tender and juicy compared to the other two meats. The food also came with tortilla chips and grilled green onion and cucumber, as well as red and green sauce. It was all quite the feast and satiated my taco craving for sure. The server lady was very nice. It wasn't very busy in the restaurant half I sat in. The decoration is quite beautiful, with painted images on the walls of horses and verdant scenery. The location is conveniently by the 45th street R train station. Overall, it was a nice look at different tacos that didn't just make the usual meats in the mainstream. The prices are quite good considering how much this would cost you in the city, and I highly recommend it. Just, maybe come earlier than I did.
the quality has been consistent for the past year. I read with great difficulty those who give these folks 1 to 2 stars. They all admit that they have eaten from here numerous times, but then they got “disappointed.” ??? Mind boggling. People are just ridiculous lol Anyway, here is my full 5 stars because these guys do a great job at producing what is gourmet tacos. I have tried over half their stuff. Fantastic. The tortillas never disappoint. And the sauces are on point. The fillings, flavorful. The lines are always there, evidence that great tacos are made here. I look forward to having their tacos.
Broncos has been consistently good over the past 5 years. It has incredible tacos and fajitas, and the staff are friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend el pastor tacos and fajitas. Their cow tongue tacos are also great! Overall a great place to go and be at and would highly recommend for anyone in the area.
One of my favorite taco restaurants in south Brooklyn. The food here is excellent, service is solid and they’re open late, which is a huge plus in my opinion. I have fond memories of getting tacos from El Bronco late at night when hanging with friends. I recommend the bistec and al pastor tacos, large size with all the toppings. This place is clearly a favorite among the locals and I highly recommend it!
Best salsa in sunset park. Tacos are always great. Fajitas are 11/10. Service is on point *most of the time. Sometimes certain waitresses just take your order and never come back to you. There are two waitresses that are so sweet and friendly every time I go. Everything on the menu is pretty good. I’ve been coming here since I was 15. I’m almost 30. Hope they never change.
This is the best birria taco I've had anywhere in the world. Los Tacos #1 and Birrialandia are so far away in terms of quality, I would think it was a different food entirely in a blind taste test. This place is authentic (helps if you speak Spanish) and by no means super organized but my goodness the tacos are just freaking incredible. The birria taco in the consome dish is as good as you will find in any michelin star restaurant. Absolutely incredible. The steak and al pastor tacos were also quite good and a nice portion for the price. But if you come here you must get the birria taco and consome. Its the best latin american bite I've ever had.
Great service, happy people, fresh food and improv music. The service is great. Our waitress is always smelling and making our dinner so welcoming. She gave us extra salsa and chip. There are lot of space for seat service and it wasn’t busy for our dinner time. Food is delicious. Someone else ordered fajita but I settle for a burrito. It’s filling and good amount of food. There are so many things on the menu and I need to come back. Occasionally there will be people playing music for tip while you are eating. It’s something to just accept.
Excellent tacos. 🌮 This is a usual spot for us and it never disappoints here. The large tacos have guacamole in it and it also comes with an entire grilled green onion. Now, I hate onions. But I have no clue why I’m able to eat it here with the tacos… it’s that good. Opt for the regular tacos. The small size is fine but for just a dollar more you get more bang for the buck, literally. Very low key establishment. It isn’t festive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol either. But the tacos are amazing. And amazingly affordable! As always, better to eat fresh and dine in. The fajitas are good and the sizzling plates is nice…. but order the Tacos… when the restaurant’s name begins with Tacos, you better order the Tacos 🌮!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
This is the best Mexican dinner I had in such a long time. Everything they fed me was so tasty. We got steak fajita, Mexican style shrimp with rice and beans and al pastor taco. Big portion, Free chips and salsa as well. I wish they have more tripa tacos available though. It is often sold out at both the truck and the restaurant 😂
Went here for lunch and the service was stupendous! I love how they served everyone fast. The food was also out in less than 10 minutes. The servers and kitchen were on point. They automatically serve you chips and salsa while you wait and bring you water. (Some places you must ask for water, which I never understood) I enjoyed: 2 mini chicken tacos and 1 regular steak taco. They delicious. The presentation of the food is a big plus. Will definitely come back!
Pretty great tacos for very reasonable price. As others have said, the portions of the regular size tacos are pretty big. I got nachos as well which were very tasty and nicely arranged, perhaps with a slightly small portion size. The staff was also very nice and service was fast when I went (perhaps after the dinner rush).

Food was okay. Service was great. Salsa was average.
Some of the better tacos I've had in Southern Brooklyn can be found here. They definitely have shrunk some of the portion sizes in the last 10 years since I first went here. Beyond that, highly recommend trying every taco at least once!
The tacos always yummy..and I always ask for plain meat no vegetables...taste great to me. TODAY I went in to get tacos ask for steak NO ONIONS...now I did say they have yummy tacos but When someone ASK FOR NO ONIONS..(second time I get ONIONS on a No Onion Order)...Please I like your tacos..Just Make SURE NEXT TIME NO ONIONS!!!
If I want a taco I come here and I live all the way in Astoria…so that should say something. Extremely cheap tacos (for NYC). They have two sizes, regular and large. Regular goes for $2.50 and large is $3.00 which includes guacamole. Honestly, the meats were SO well seasoned and juicy. The tortillas were so crispy and just the fresh cilantro with onion gave the meat a kick. We ordered 4 tacos and we waited for 20 minutes. I gave it four stars because the waitress sat us down and did not clean the table. We got a bunch of hand sanitizer and wiped off a lot of crumbs so it was taken care of but because it’s Covid times, I feel like the staff should be a bit more attentive to the common areas. Also, they do give you free salsa and chips while you wait for your food. Best bang for your buck!
Came here with a group of 10 on a weekday and was surprised they were able to accommodate us. I was also surprised by how cheap the price of their tacos were compared to most other Mexican places. It was $2.50 for the regular tacos and $2.75 for the more exotic options. Note that you order the tacos, you have to order a min. of 3. The portion size of the tacos are very good, 3 tacos should be enough for most people. Since we were such a big group, I can't fault the waiters for mixing up some of the taco orders. I would love to come back if I'm ever in the area.
I tried the lengua and the pork, both were really a pleasure to eat. It felt like a precious local spot to enjoy
Good food and vibes. Waiters are super nice, service is quick. I had the agua de horchata which is delicious and to eat in for a large costs $2.50. The cemita I had was honestly plain. It had no "wow" to it. The tacos al pastor were seasoned like steak but were really good. Ask for water. They won't give you because not a lot of people want it anyways. Came on a Saturday afternoon. There is a wait for large parties. Come in advance with your party and ask for them to reserve a table for you.
The food was good but the service was not perfect. UPDATE - Ate here again yesterday evening around 10 pm. Still a great place to take out or sit down and eat. Service is slow as venues are still recovering from the pandemic but the food was 9/10 and horchata still very tasty 9/10. Six regular steak and salty beef tacos w guac, steak burrito and large horchata $38 and I have an $8 tip for the generous portions and friendly staff. They had a crazy amount of takeout orders as well!
We had a late lunch early dinner here and the restaurant was pretty packed. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table but it wasn't a big deal. Unlike some other reviews, our food did come fast and service was prompt so I'm not sure what the difference was because the restaurant was at full capacity during this time. We received our first order of chips and salsa free but we were charged for a second order (which I saw on the receipt for $2.50); not a big deal but it would have been nice to be told. The entrees were good. We ordered the torta, burrito, tacos, and flautas. I tried a bit of everything and all were pretty good. The tender beef really looked and tasted like pork which I thought was weird but it tasted good so I didn't really question it. The only thing I would not recommend is the horchata; that was not very good and kind of watery-er than others I've had in the past. Just meh.
These tacos are a great bang for your buck. The standout tacos were the pork stomach and tender beef. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the fish & shrimp tacos or the chorizo (it was really dry and crispy). The service was also kind of slow but they seemed to be understaffed and it was extremely busy.
The food was good spot but it was a bit crowded and it made me feel claustrophobic. The service was great as well. l hope more people come so they can afford a bigger spot!!!!
I recently dined here and ordered shrimp and fish tacos. While the fish taco was absolutely delicious, the shrimp taco fell slightly short of my expectations. One minor disappointment was being charged for a cup of hot water without prior notification. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would recommend this restaurant to others, particularly for their fish tacos.

Food was alright, however the wait time for the food was ridiculous. I was sitting for a good 50 minute before any of my food arrived. The lights in the restaurant starts to dim out of nowhere.
The guacamole & chips, I rate it 9/10, I would’ve liked it a bit spicier. Birria tacos were very good, the consume was on point, 8/10. Bistec encebollado portion was very small but the steak was tender and flavorful, 7/10. The waitress was meh, not very familiar with the menu. I asked her what kind of beans came with the plate , she had to go back and ask someone in the kitchen. Then she told me black beans and gave me refried beans. I wasn’t a fan of refried beans, I would’ve asked for no beans.

We ordered a chicken taco for our toddler but it had absolutely no taste so we order a cheese burger. We asked for this to be taken off the bill since it was un-eatable, our rude and incompetent server said “we have to pay for it since we ordered it. Things don’t work like that around here”. I ended up paying for the bill and as I’m speaking with my wife about it our server yells across the restaurant telling me to watch my mouth and when I asked her about what she couldn’t come up with an excuse but “I heard you” do yourself a favor and go to the taco truck on 5th ave. The guys there are out in cold with better attitude and work ethics than this server. Also, if you order an app be mindful it will come out with your entrees.
Unfortunately, this experience fell short of our expectations, especially when compared to the excellence of their food truck counterpart. For a truly satisfying visit, focusing solely on their well-crafted tacos is advisable. Although the sopes we commenced our meal with were a culinary highlight, our chosen main courses—Steak Fajita and Chilaquiles Verde with steak—proved disappointing. Regrettably, my side order of tortillas was forgotten, requiring a prolonged wait and futile attempts to catch the attention of the staff stationed behind the counter. The chilaquiles arrived with an overly dense sauce and oily undertones, straying from the anticipated authenticity of flavors. Additionally, the steak was lamentably overcooked, challenging its palatability and bearing an unusual taste profile. We sought resolution by inquiring about an alternative order or a remake with our waitress. Regrettably, her response conveyed that such actions would entail extra charges—a policy seemingly incongruent with the subpar quality of the dish. The overall service was disappointing, leaving an unfavorable impression that’s hard to reframe positively. A gesture of goodwill, such as an alternative dish or a discounted price, would have been appreciated, especially considering the $55 cost of the unsatisfying meal. The absence of acknowledgment for our disappointment underscored the lackluster encounter.
It was a great place for a family reunion in the be beginning, now it’s s only a simple restaurant with no quality for family dinner, I’m so sorry but I am deeply disappointed. I’ve been ordering and eating here since the truck was on 44 and 5 ave by the car service. At that time it was great food, it’s no longer the same anymore..
This is my go to place for food but recently they have changed so much, so many new staff members who barley speak English and the ones who do are at the cashier. Sundays are my usual days to order and two nights in a row they did not put my rice and beans! Once even a taco was missing! I do not call back to complain because I am at home by then.
Food is terrible I asked for no jalapenos and got tons, they used to serve pico del Gallo and guacamole... not anymore of course they raised the prices but not the service

Customer service sucks , 44 mins wait for tacos to go when it wasn't even packed , they didn't take my card , then I give them a $100 bill, apparently didnt go through , cashier laughs .
Horrible. Went last night, horrible tacos and horrible service. Ordered 2 tacos Al pastor plain with only cheese. Got them with onions , cilantro, guacamole, also order some sour cream on the side. Never arrived. Asked for a strawberry smoothie, never arrived. He came back after I told him he gave me the wrong tacos and gave me plain tacos. I asked him one more time you forgot the cheese. Everyone was done eating. When I told him he was upset and got the plate from me furiously as if it were my fault. Save your time & money and go to Rico's tacos. (sadly they were closed at that time ugh.
The nachos are 14$$ !!!! It’s enough for a child ! No warning at all I ordered on the phone for pick up and I just paid for this tiny plate of tacos ridiculous never again !! Be warned if you order tacos it’s a tortilla cut in 4 -_- Es una orden para niños los nachos 14$ para dar le de comer a niño y no avisan otros lugares dan un plato lleno ricos nunca vuelvo ! Rateros !!!
I’ve been eating at this restaurant for the past five years. You could say I was a loyal customer who knew the servers. Recently they’ve cut the portions of the food on some of their menu items. Which I would understand due to inflation but also why would you want to pay the same price for a smaller portion? They no longer offer complementary chips, you have to pay for them now. They took longer than usual to bring out the food the last time I went. The servers were all new and weren’t sure if the menu items were the same. All they could do was apologize and understandably it’s not their fault. Honestly it’s just not worth going back for me.
The first time I called they got my ordered messed up. After calling to see if they could fix it they agreed to send the right order. HOWEVER, when they delivered my I order which was the "steak enchiladas de mole" the steak was disgusting. The steak tasted like it had gone BAD. After opening it to see inside the enchilada it even let out a horrible smell. Highly disappointed!!! Not ordering from here AGAIN!
We have eaten at this restaurant many times. We have even recommended it to others and have eaten there with family, friends on many different occasions. I always order Enchiladas Mixtas en Salsa Verde and my husband usually orders from the special of the day menu. At the restaurant the food is served neatly, rice and beans separate from the enchiladas, for example. We decided to order take out and what a disappointment.$32 for these 2 dishes- this was around 8pm on a Monday- it wasn’t a lunch special deal or anything like that. Just takeout dinner on a Monday night. I was so upset when I opened our meal and saw what was served- no side of hot sauce included. The enchiladas are all squished sideways in this small take out container with rice & a pinch of beans. The rice getting all soggy with the sauce- there goes the option of sharing my meal with my toddler, as I always do. My husband’s special of the day dish was, oh man- terrible. I mean- look at it. I started eating Tacos Broncos from their truck and going to the restaurant a few times a month became our norm. I’m not a new customer- I have expectations of a dish I eat each time I go to the restaurant. It should be no different for take out especially if the price is the same as dining in (chips & salsa not included of course). I called the restaurant, told them all of this & the lady who answered said she would let the manager know…..I guess it’s time to try a different Mexican food restaurant.
Awesome food I must say! But the service is horrible..The waitress was quite horrible.I had to ask over five times just for napkins and utensils to eat my food upon me asking ..5 times I had to get up walk inside to get my own napkins and utensils so I askifor the manager for the manager and I was presented with a gentleman who takes cash at the front end .. who is very helpful but I should not have to beg for service at a place that I am spending my money.. I do not recommend this place to anyone I truly felt like trash for honor in this place above all places to eat a taco as a customer!
Food wise, some of the best tacos you’ll ever have. However the service is quite terrible. The women greeting and taking orders each time look upset that you came to patronize their business. They take forever to take an order and even longer to bring out your order, and often there is an item or two that is incorrect. Each time we’ve come in the past year it gets worse. If it wasn’t for the price and quality of food we would never come back.
