Tip: If you want a classic slice, go for the Sicilian. Be aware that seating is limited, so it's more of a takeout place.

We spent 6 nights at the Kulm Hotel in January 2017. The Hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the lake on one side and the mountain on the other side. It is centrally located near the shopping area and close to the lift to get up the mountain. The hotel exudes old world charm and the staff is happy and always
My name is actually Kevin, best pizza on the block.
Pizza doesn’t get much better than Tony’s! Classic NYC slice joint. Was my go-to when I lived there. I mean, I’d get off the friggin’ L train to pick up my order on the way home, it’s that good! Once I called in a “large meatball” and dude on the phone was like “what you mean, like a 5 pound meatball?”. Hilarious! Such a cool spot.
Stumbled upon this gem while I was at a photoshoot. I absolutely loved the pizza. Very surprised by how good it really is. We went a got more pizza after polishing off 2 large pies. Definitely will have it again when I'm back in Greenpoint.
The pizza here... there's nothing else like it. You feel like you could eat a whole pie no problem. The place is an establishment for a reason. I'm not sure anything has changed in 50 years, but in a good way. Get the onion rings and a tomato pie.
Classic style New York pizza joint. Good service and reasonable prices. Pizza slices were all great. Glad it’s in the neighborhood .
Vodka slice is top notch. Service is ALWAYS friendly. Great neighborhood spot
I use to deliver for Ninas on the weekends and was biased on neighborhood pizza joints . After Ninas closed had no choice but to try others . Tony’s pies are consistently good. Do not regret stopping in . Further from my crib but worth it . Haven’t tried anything but pizza but will give them a try
A relic of Williamsburg’s Italian roots, Tony’s pizza is legit delicious. Some of the crispiest bottoms we’ve found. Definitely a spot to bring visiting guests to show them what NYC pizza by the slice is all about.
Classic NY pizza with very nice people. Have lived in the area for 8 years but also grew up in NYC and this is what NYC pizza shops are at their core. Love this spot.
A neighborhood gem and staple. Love these classic pizza parlors and grateful this one exists. The pizza is superb and the service is always friendly. Highly recommended.
I had a wonderful experience at Tony's! Everyone was friendly, the food was phenomenal, and I felt right at home. Many thanks to the awesome staff!
One of my favorite places to get pizza. You get your food in a fair amount of time and prices are pretty reasonable. The staff is friendly and it's like going to visit family.
Solid pizzas and good vibes. You can tell Frank has some serious know how when it comes to the craft and the customer service is outstanding.
The cheese is on the salty side but just the right amount. Slices are never soggy and sometimes they're cruncy. All together tony's pizza is delicious.
Omg!! Tony’s pizza 🍕 is amazing, not only the pizza taste delicious . A friendly staff . I am a former pizzeria owner and I could tell you this place is spotless, they must use the best ingredients . Love this place 🍕❤️
Excellent pizza, great service, neighborhood staple
Delicious pizza! Had one of the best upside down slices here. Owner was courteous and kind. Let my friends and I stay and eat outside way past closing time. Highly recommend!
Our favorite pizza place! Very kind, attentive and welcoming staff, relaxing atmosphere, great customer service! All their pizzas are yummy. Our teenagers as well as the little one loves the food from here - well done Tony’s!!
Im a new business owner in the area Hybrid Vintage! Got to know all the local food spots to keep lunch costs down. This place sells Fish and Chips (Unbelievable) It tastes so good I order once a week as a treat and its only $10 and they deliver to my store. Sometimes I get the pizza but I can't get this delicacy anywhere else for that price. I am British therefore Fish and Chips is my go to!
This review comes with a story. When I was a kid over 55 years ago, my father always took me to Tony's. It was the best pizza back then and still is now. I decided to show my family where I grew up and wanted to show them Tony's. There were three of us and ordered a whole Grandpa pizza. There was nothing to take home. Even though there have been different owners from the original Tony, this is one of the best pizza's out there. I will be back. Owners and staff very nice. Definitely recommend.
I’ve been here twice now. They’re super friendly and responsive and they take your order right away. It’s the only spot in the neighborhood to get a gyro and even if it doesn’t quite taste how it does back home, and even if the yogurt is a little stiff, the price is right and they give you loads of lamb. I’ll be back without a doubt.
love Tony's Pizzeria I have been going to here ever since I can remember my family and I grew up on this institution and will always go for Tony's over carmines (just becuase I am a mets fan)
Love this place! Went there all the time when I lived in Greenpoint. Now I'm 175 miles north (where there's almost no good pizza!) but I try to stop in whenever I come down to visit relatives or go to a Mets game. Love the food and the service. Only minor complaints are the place is a little small to eat in, and the guys are Yankee fans! ⚾️
The Owner is very personable. His Staff was very friendly, helpful and made me feel at ease. I didn't feel like a first time customer. I had their sicilian pizza and it was the absolute best I've had in long time. The display case was full of other Authenic Italian specialties that looked home made. The had Rice Ball that looked like my Grandmothers. I highly recommend this place!! John from Jersey
Always fast service and great food and friendly service
My spouse and I come here frequently, the food is absolutely delicious. The service is Presidental. The owner most surely knows how to operate a true Brooklyn Italian pizzeria. If you want authentic Brooklyn, New York City Italian food, you must must come here. My favorite order is the chicken roll with a side of blue cheese dressing and beef patty with cheese. So so so good. The pepperoni pizza will taste just like you imagine in the movies about NYC.
They are the best! I needed some pizzas for a kids bday at the park at 10 am. They only deliver after 11 am, but they made an exception just for us. A gem of a place! The pizza is excellent too.
After a rough morning, I was wandering around my new neighborhood and stumbled upon this place. I must’ve went into every other restaurant in a 3-block radius but this place stole my heart. The people who work here make you feel right at home, they are so genuine and easygoing it makes eating here way better than any upscale restaurant. I’m from Hawaii, not NYC and this is one of the first places that’s felt like home since I got here. The food is also fantastic and a great value. I got a Lamb Gyro (which only lasted on my plate about 10 mins) and killer fries, super crispy outside with melt in your mouth potato goodness inside. One of the gentlemen behind the counter made me the BEST cinnamon cappuccino which I drank on my walk home. This place definitely has soul, and I will definitely be back. Thanks Tony’s for making my day a little better :)
Great Pizza Place, I’m one of the PTO for one of the schools in the neighborhood, we had an activity with the kids and we order 39 pies of Cheese Pizzas and 3 Gluten Free pizzas as well. They delivered the pizzas on time all of them where HOT and Delicious. Thank you so much for putting a smile on our little ones faces. God bless
I was automatically hooked on the Drunken Pizza. Just good old fashioned New York City pizza. Haven't had pizza this good in a while. And I am biased about my pizza. I usually don't eat pizza when I am outside of the 5 boroughs of NYC, (it is our water) because I find that it usually is not all that good, except for maybe when I am in Philly. I have had pizza while sitting at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius that wasn't as good. Literally! I travel on the subway to get a slice, okay maybe 2. A pie.
Best slice on the block, no disrespect to Carmine's. Don't sleep on the antipasta salad. Super fresh and filling!
Tony’s Brooklyn Pizza is the BEST pizza and heroes I have ever had (I’ve lived in NY my whole life) and…the best cappuccino too!
I got a slice of cheese (just came out of the oven) and a slice of the tomato and basil. Both the fresh and reheated slice had a nice crisp chew, the sauce was bright without being acidic and the cheese tasted high quality. The real treat here though are the employees. Super friendly and personable. All around a great lunch stop.
I ordered food from here yesterday for the first time. It was fantastic n now one of my favs n goin up near the top of “the list” for sure! Anyone that’s seen my reviews knows that the details n specific requests n instructions r key. They got every detail perfect which doesn’t happen often enough. That’s not enough, of course. The food was fresh n delicious n I inhaled it as if I hadn’t eaten in days lol. In fact, I meant to take pics to upload but I got lost in my delicious meal so the only pic I have is the aftermath lmaoooooo. If ur in this part of Brooklyn u know food can be tough. Some good stuff but way overpriced...some reasonably priced stuff but not made with care n love n quality. Tony’s seems to me to be a great split of the two. I didn’t get robbed on the price n my meal was scrumptious n fresh n also correct to 100% accuracy. Let’s see if the next one is also perfect n fresh n delicious. I’d try them if ur in the area, I was impressed enough to write this encyclopedia of a review! The aftermath pic shows the wreckage. I inhaled every last bite!!!
Born in New York and lived here most of my life had a lot of pizza and a lot of places and this is still my favorite slice
The best pizza is Graham’s, don’t hesitate to try it!
My family and I have enjoyed Tony's pizza for as long as I can remember. We no longer live in Brooklyn however, whenever we visit, it's our first stop🫶 now our kids get to enjoy the BEST pizza in the world!
So good, had the cheese pizza and garlic knots.
I got a plain slice, nothing to hide anything. It was incredible. Just awesome that the standard of pizza in NYC is this high. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Had me out in a minute on a rainy sunday night.
Great pizza. I never hesitate going to Tony's when I'm in the mood for some pizza.
Made a quick stop during our trip to NYC. My son follows that pizza guy on social media so he was excited to try lol. The Margherita Pizza was to die for. We also tried the Buffalo chicken pizza. Friendly staff and wish we lived closer!!!
I recently moves to Brooklyn and found this “bueno, bonito y barato” (yummy, appealing and cheap) spot through Uber Eats. I have been slowly going through their pasta entrees and Jesus Christ – NOTHING DISAPPOINTS! My favorite so far are their baked pastas, specifically the manicotti 😍. I always get the garlic bread as a perfect side. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Portnoy's 7.9 is off a litte bit... Should be a 8.1 Great slice, tomato thin is also awesome Must try
Great pizzeria frequented by locals. Their white Sicilian was light, fluffy, garlicky and delicious. Highly recommend!
I love Tony’s. Their shrimp parm hero is delicious. The shrimps are sofa king good. Check it out. Incredibly kind staff as well.
Had such an amazing experience!! Francesca and Julie were so hospitable and kind. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. My favorite place in the neighborhood!! I cannot recommend enough
I’ve been going to/ ordering from Tony’s for more than 20 years. Pizza, pasta, soup, calzones, heroes, you name it; always a delight. I just got a half tray of BBQ wings with blue cheese. I could not be more happy or satisfied. 🤘
One of the best slices I’ve had. Got a simple cheese and wow - texture and flavor unmatched. Also the owners are really friendly and this place overall has a cute family owned vibe. Will be back !
Tony’s 11:30pm is for people wanting carmine’s that closed at 10. I’ve worked 5 pizza jobs over the course of my lifetime. I’ve eaten more pizza than 20 Middle Aged Italian mechanics. My arteries are made of mozzarella. The naval yard ordered 1,000 pizzas, no taxes, no tip, canceled the order after it was made and started to be delivered. We didn’t know what to do, we ate til our eyes bled grease, we were throwing it at the wall outside to watch how long it stuck. Homeless people won’t take it, they think it’s a trap. Chipotle won’t trade burritos cause there’s cameras watching them. I helped install bullet proof glass in a pizzeria, i covered for coworkers selling smack out the back, i brought a small television to each job cause everyone’s required to work Super Bowl, had my first beer on the clock. I won a regional box folding challenge. I can make a large pepperoni start to oven in 16 seconds. All this being said, I understand Tony’s has been around since 1950 but your pizza is bready, burnt, and tastes like it came out of 3D printer
I have to give five stars I came here a few months ago for two plates of chicken fettuccine and boy did my daughter and I enjoy it I stopped by today for a couple of slices of pizzas and A spinach wrap I’m not pronouncing it correctly. I just saw it and wanted it. It was so good. The atmosphere is always beautiful. The service is always kind. The food is always great. They speak to us as we’re entering the store. I love that my dark skin didn’t matter. I felt welcome here, I love this place
Spectacular old-school New York Pizza! We were on a time crunch headed to a show at Brooklyn Steel, and this place is practically right outside the Graham Ave. L station. So we hopped off the train and scored some pizza. She got a slice of Grandma's, and I got two big Sicilian slices. They were heavenly, as I knew they would be, upon hearing the thick Brooklyn accents of the guys working there and the other customers. Love it. I would make it a point to go back here.
Excellent! Thank you for preparing my catering meal and delivering it on time. We ordered 1/2 tray meatballs and 1/2 lasagna. It was delivered hot and attractively packaged. Additionally, we bought a quart of Pasta Figoli Soup. Freddy deliverered with a smile and was professional. Serving utensils, plates, and bread were supplied. Great first impression. We highly recommend for your next catering event!
Good pizza, and awesomely nice people. The moment i walked into their store to pick up a pizza pie. Everyone greeted me with a friendly hello and smiles. While waiting they made me smile with polite convo and light joking. My experience there was great and im sure your experience will be too.
Cash only. Nice that they’re open until 11 pm. The slice I got tasted like it’d been sitting out for a while, but could’ve been a fluke.
The Great Pizza War of Graham Avenue rages on through the years. Tony's or Carmines? Carmine's or Tony's? Carmine's has a bar now?! Shots have been fired. In this man's opinion Tony has a better straight up regular pizza slice and their delivery services are top notch. Sure, if you rather have 10 different toppings added to your slice then perhaps Carmine's is the place to go, but sometimes you just want a good uncomplicated slice with good sauce and a crispy crust.
Good pizza spot but hard to come here when carmine's is across the street. One thing I come here for they do better though is a meatball parm hero if the mood strikes me. Still a solid pizza spot
Tony's is our jam. They have feed us for lunch, dinner and snack time. The prices are affordable. We had had pizza, appetizers and entrées. I especially love their warm mini sugar donuts. Bring them back please. See ya soon!!!
My first time at this pizzeria was very enjoyable. A bit on the small size, but what they lack in commercial space, they more they make up in the great tasting food offerings! I was in the area buying a close friend a Birthday gift, and before heading to the nearest MTA subway station to go back home, I saw Tony's Pizza. The food was very good, and I was given professional courtesy, too. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can.
Still a reliable spot. Sauce isn't too sweet, nice and thin crust, and get the garlic knots and cannolis to go with it. I wish they would take card but have to respect it. Still my favorite pizza spot in Williamsburg.
Tony's pizza is still great. Owner Phil sold it to cous, pizza still great. Now they sell pastry & added to menu. The only problem they only have 3 tiny tables & they don't have restroom for customers. That's why I stopped going.
Local Pizzaria and my brother favorite place. I don't know how long Tony's Pizza has been opened but my family order from this restaurant for long time and sometimes we sit outside the place. Pizza is good, my favorite is spicy oil pizza, simple and original. Sometimes in summer I also get Italian Icey and enjoy the weather.
The Italian Flag slice had a firm crust which was good because the other ingredients were rather heavy. There was a good amount of cheese and the sauce and olive oil drizzled on top completed the pizza. This is more of a take out sort of place as seating is limited and there is no restroom available for patrons.
Staff is nice and they have your food to you quickly. Prices are too high... over $3 for a slice of cheese. Also it's cash only which is a bummer. I've only been here twice and would only come if Carmine's across the street was closed. Love Carmine's (and they accept cards)!
Margarita small weak pizza was okay , service was great .
Would have given this place 5 stars a few years ago but unfortunately for a place that’s been a childhood and neighborhood staple for years had not been the same since the last owner Phil left. Pizza quality is not the same taste is average. Barstool gave them a 7.8 or 7.6 I bet if they did it again it would be a 6.1 at best.
Not terrible but not the best. They need to warn someone if something has pork in it. Had a chicken ranch pinwheel with surprise pork. Also...I saw one of the workers touch food with his bare hands.
Times change & so has this place. I use to love coming here growing up. Now theres new people & new prices... $3.25 for a regular slice when we all know the rule about a slice matching the price of a metro card single ride lol, but it's a good alternative for when Carmines pizza is closed.
In for the spring break and visiting my uncle. He says he's been giving Tony's business since 2008 and has had no issues with them at all. One simple order, they messed up, and the staff was of no use when we called. They wanted us to give back the pizza which we waited for an hour for and had already started eating. They wouldn't offer to remake the pizza or even look into why it was made in a completely incorrect style. Both my uncle and I tried calling and couldn't reach a manager nor anyone with any knowledge of the business. The lady who answered the phone was rude and unwelcoming to both the local and out of state phone numbers. My uncle and I are highly disappointed with the poor service and messed up order.
Oh no. The staff there is extremely kind and helpful (5 stars for them). But if you’re going for the food try somewhere else. The tomato slice was oily and didn’t taste fresh, underwhelming. The mozzarella stick have no bite/crunch at all, tasted like leftovers from a while ago. Very underwhelming food unfortunately.
Drunk food at it's finest. The sicilian slice was interesting because it's rectangular instead of square, but that was the coolest part about it. Nothing really stood out about the slice other than it tastes like pizza. I'd go to Carmine's if I had the option between the two across the street from each other. Pizza Adventures: Destination #46
I came here yesterday to get a "to go" slice. Girl behind the counter gave me a hard time because I asked for a "to go" pizza box instead of a "to go" bag. I walk far and when the pizza is in a bag, typically messes up the slice and the sauce gets all over the bag, so I prefer a box. Fast forward to today, I went back because the pizza is great, ordered two slices this time, but the order was given to me in a bag again. They're obviously very cheap with pizza boxes and little tiny things like that are annoying. Carmines across the way always gives boxes for to go orders
Rude employees is the first thing I noticed when I walked in. The "can I help you" while not even looking at the customer is BAD customer service. Cash only sign is like finding waldo not visible enough so if you order with a card your screwed because they get even more rude about it .To top all that off i didn't notice i was overcharged by 3$ but I was on my way out of town so there goes that. Next time I'll cross the street to Carmines they are much more friendlier and way more professional than these clowns.
Guy working the 10:30pm shift on Sunday, November 6th tried to act like the $20 I gave him was a $10. Played dumb when I told him I’d given him a $20. Can only imagine how many inattentive people he’s scammed before. Pizza was great though! Just check your change ❤️
The pizza it's ok. The prize is ridicules expensive just for a pizza with double cheese with haft Hawaiian & half Pepperoni's $37 on top of it I pick it up and it was all flappy. I personally think they need to chill with the prize.
I went here a couple days ago and a man served me and was super pleasant. I went there a third time a young woman who WALKED FROM OUTSIDE went behind the counter and touched pizza with her HANDS and didn’t wash her hands until I said something . She also picked a slice for me and it was the smallest pizza slice there . I’m sorry I’m not accustomed to people choosing my slice and touching with bare hands. Unacceptable. Will have to reconsider coming back . Just was annoyed by it .
Food doesn’t taste good anymore. Baked clams are salty and just full of lemon. The calamari is very chewy and soggy. The pizza hasn’t been that great lately. Garlic nuts were good
Just ordered a plain pie to-go in the restaurant. Received a reheated pre-made pizza that must have been meant to serve as slices, made who knows when... but my guess is at least an hour prior. NOT FRESH TO ORDER. They must take their customers for idiots. Went to eat 10 min after pickup and pizza was cold with crust resembling cardboard after having to reheat for a 3rd time. Unacceptable. Used to love this spot. Not returning. Take your business elsewhere for a fresh pie.... or get a dollar slice somewhere else and save your money.
Honestly probably the worst pizza place in NYC and the customer service was even worse. The pizza tasted like cardboard. We asked for a cheese pizza cut into 16 slices and when we walked out it was cut into 8- when we walked back in to ask again to get it cut into 16 slices the owner outside called me and my boyfriend a “tough guy” for walking back in to get it corrected before he even asked what was wrong with the pizza. I’m surprised they’re going to act that way when this pizza is probably the 2nd to worst pizza in nyc next to the scam dollar slices in Manhattan. Do not come here and go the pizza restaurant across the street. To add on it was cash only so you know they’re only there to make their money and nothing more. 1/10
Pizza was burnt on the crust and bottom. I used to live in Brooklyn and came back to visit after 10 years and was referred to Tony's. Sad to say to the pizza I get in Wilmington North Carolina is better than this. This was not the Brooklyn pizza I knew and loved 😔
Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap trying to be a little “healthier” was given just a wrap with chicken and buffalo sauce, no lettuce, no tomatoes extremely disappointed. Also paid extra for fries and they weren’t delivered. Won’t be ordering again.
Man this place downgraded just like a lot of other spots from this area. Look at the image of my sandwich compared to the vodka sandwich from the photo on slice app. I just ordered this. They use to look like this all the time. My sandwich has no sauce and it’s literally bread and dry chicken. Tony’s was my spot for years…
