All our food was hot and fresh,coleslaw is on point! Sweet/juicy! Juliana was friendly and quick and we had everything we needed 😊
Ordered to go and food did not disappoint! the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. Coleslaw and mashed potatoes very well made.
Stopped by this location at 2nd Street in El cajon one evening for dinner and my order was messed up only to return the next day and receive a complete new dinner and apology by Karen. Make sure and ask for everything you want, including condiments because California has restricted them on giving them out automatically!! Have always loved Kentucky fried Chicken and will continue to love them excellent food, excellent prices, and incredible customer service. The colonel is only one of two fast foods I will consider to eat because it is such high quality and definitely healthier than most fast food. Thank you and we will see you soon!
the night time girl who works here is absolutely amazing . I believe her name was Kate all I know is attitude makes all the difference in good customer service because even under pressure she was quick and had such an positive attitude. if only the whole world were a little bit more like her...
When I went thru the drive thru this evening during rush hour, I'm positive Katelyn had no idea the kind of day I was having...I was stressed out, making me a little short in my answers, but she was totally unbothered and as sweet as could be...I had just had my truck die in an intersection a couple blocks away and was stuck in the 90 degree heat for some time until I finally was able to get it to start...I just wanted to grab a quick bite the easiest way possible and Pray I made it home...once at the window I realized my dog had drank all the water I had for him in my truck, he was panting from the heat, and I was dreading having to stop for water and potentially have my truck not start leaving us stranded again...I asked Katelyn if I could possibly have a cup of water for my dog, to which she replied "of course!"...She immediately returned with a "Travel BOWL" of cold water including a tight fitting lid, saving me the need to risk being stuck again, I nor my dog couldn't have been more grateful...She has no idea the impact she had on myself and my dog but I suspect it happens frequently because she's just that kind of person...I live about 15 miles from the restaurant and will go out of my way to eat there just because of her so KFC I hope you realize what a spectacular employee you are Blessed with, and Katelyn, thank you so very much from me and my dog, I can't put into words the appreciation and admiration I have for you, you're one in a bazillion!!
KFC is my favorite fast food fried chicken. Chicken was hot and fresh. This location gave me the bathroom code before I decided to eat there and they still have straws. Win win!
8/23/25 Night shift was really nice and have great customer service. 👍
It had been a long while since our last visit to KFC & yesterday just seemed like a chicken-kind of day ngl 😆 We ordered via drive thru service: 🐔 sandwich, mac🧀 & popcorn🐔 w/ 🥤+ 3pc 🐔 tenders, mac🧀 & mash🥔 w/ 🥤 which totaled $32 & change 😳 The tenders were not at all crispy which bummed me out; they were tasty tho. And my boyfriend loved his sandwich including the sauce that came with it; #9 combo btw. Service could have been a tad better but tbh it is what it is ya know but overall looking back on years before & eating KFC - we always enjoyed it!! This visit didn't satisfy our 🐔 cravings as we expected it too BUT this does not define the overall appeal of KFC.. we are but one review & I should note that we deviated from our usual go-to item which is 50/50 🔥 Xtra crispy 10pc 🪣🐔 which always pleases 👍🏼
I ordered through UberEats at around 2:30 and was told the food would be ready by 2:50 latest. Once I was there by 3, they told me to wait in the front while they finished my order. By 3:30 I was getting insanely impatient so I went inside and found no people waiting in the lobby, no drive thru lane, workers chatting it up laughing. They had my order just waiting getting cold and none of them cared enough to check why an order was pending. I’m never returning to this establishment. Horrible customer service. Christmas eve isn’t an excuse.
was excited about the wings being back however got turned off by the price ,them wing aren't worth 10.99 for only 6 pieces I'll just keep getting my wing from the Asian spots
Food is good but for the insane prices they are charging it's not worth it at all. I couldn't enjoy the food knowing that every single bite comes out to about $2 every bite i take. Spend your money on good healthy food that doesn't cause obesity and cancer.
The food is usually very good to delicious. This time the bucket of chicken was tough and the coating soggy and oily rather than crisp. The french fries were also tough in the center like french fries get when they get old. The coleslaw was good though. This is disappointing, especially considering the exorbitant prices KFC now charges for their buckets and meal deals. I think next time I'm going to try a copycat recipe at home. I should be able to do better than this. KFC... You can and should do better than this!
My husband picked up KFC chicken for us. Was a little shocked at how expensive it has gotten. He got a mixed bucket of crispy chicken which was soggy and the original. We didn't care for either. The mashed potatoes and coslaw was the best of the dinner. In high school I used to work for them in a different area of city.
The young lady in the drive thru was very helpful she said if I paid this price it'd be a lot cheaper so I went ahead and added a side which did make my order cheaper 5 Stars for her. The only problem I had is that the chicken was old and nasty I couldn't finish eating it had to toss it. 1 Star for the food. This is the 1 time I have gotten nasty food from here. I just hope the next time I come it will be better.
The food is average. But if you want your order correct you HAVE to walk in and watch them. If you use the drive through 100% your order will be wrong and not even close to what you asked for. They must be using a random pick app to chose what they give you.
This is the first time to this location, what I dont understand is why is it so hard to have to explain the menu to a customer or why is it so hard to hear what the customer is ordering, but yet you say do you need enough time to look at the menu, poor customer service....🤔 Thank you to the manager for pointing out where on the menu says what I was looking for.. I dont know if this is a franchise or not but customer service is highly needed here. You should try smiling and be more welcoming....
why in the world are you promoting your spicy wings? If you don’t have them ready what kind of excuse is saying that you’re gonna promote them on Monday but it’s Friday absolutely horrible service and the fact that I am not happy with not getting my wings on time you cut right to the chase and tell me get this or you’re done absolutely horrible horrible horrible service. I don’t care that you’re understaffed. You don’t treat me like I’m a dog.
Soledad was by far the rudest cashier I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Kept trying to tell us that the deal somehow changed within a day for the $7 fill-up. Was incredibly passive aggressive amd just downright a horrible person I hope I never have to see her working register again. If you know an employee has an attitude try keeping them on grill.
I just paid $60.00 for Ole Stale food!!!! The complete order was not fresh by any means. The chicken was soggy, and looks and tastes like it’s been under the heat lamps for hours and the biscuits were hard, the Mac & Cheese was chunky and my 5 year old who normally loves it would not even touch it and the Mashed Potatoes were soggy & mixed with the gravy and we did not ask of it that way or even eat gravy in our house. all around one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had….
Bad service, read entire post. Tried to order hot wings, but they already did away with them again.😕 So ordered nugguets. Told it would take a couple minutes, so we needed to pull around and park and she would bring them out to us. After over 15 minutes I sent my son inside to find out what was going on. He finally came out 20 minutes after we paid. (Hello it is called fast food). No explanation, and WOW, they actually gave us 2 extra nuggets in one of the 3 orders for our wait /s. Or maybe they just miss counted. Very poor service in my opinion.
