Stopped here for lunch for a business meeting with a colleague and had a great experience. The server was attentive, knew the menu well and was able to answer any questions about the menu. We had a fantastic plate of chicken nachos for an appetizer but could've honestly fed us both as an entree. They were delicious! I ordered the taco trio and each were great. I definitely recommend this place and will he coming back once I visit Fullerton again.

Went here for a Celebration of Life recently. We sat in the bar/indoor patio area, which gave us the privacy we needed for the occasion. They did a great job! Many people attended and this area was perfect. The appetizers served were very good and when they got low, they were refilled right away. The bar gal was awesome; never kept us waiting for our drinks!! I would highly recommend this area for a private party

Omg! We were visiting Cali from AZ. This was absolutely one for the best places I've been to in CA. Our waitress Erianna (I believe that was her name) she is AWESOME, super welcoming, friendly and an amazing young lady! The food was delicious. Definitely in our next trip to Anaheim we will stoping by.

Don't lie to kick it. This is the same old spot with a new name. The layout changed a little bit. Cover prices are still crap but it's fun. Drinks are expensive but pours are decent. Great vibes. They just needs more bartenders. It can take 20 min to get a drink maybe longer. Tip well. They remember for when u want that 2nd drink.

We hosted our baby shower for around 50 people here and everything was just perfect! The atmosphere was elegant, the layout perfect for eating and mingling, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, and EVERYBODY loved the food! Working with Leanna made everything so easy and low touch for us, it truly couldn't have been better. 10/10 would book again and recommend to friends!

We discovered this restaurant during a family vacation from AZ to Disneyland...and so happy we did! Any time we are in the area, this place is a MUST for at least one meal. On our most recent trip, we got an AirBnB that was a little further away, but we made the 35 minute drive, twice, to get our fill! The chips and salsa are awesome! To me, salsa is a good indicator of the quality of the food, and this is definitely the case at Madera! My go-to is the filet tacos! Highly recommend this restaurant for great Mexican food in the Fullerton or surrounding areas.

Well talk about an amazing Saturday night! We never heard of this place and just walked by it. The atmosphere attracted us. We sat at the bar. Had a couple of beers and a sangria. They give a complimentary chips and dip and it tastes wonderful. Their customer service is outstanding. At ten they collected the bar stools and it turned into a disco. They have high security and check for IDs for legal age drinking. We had a fajita for dinner and wow, never tasted something so special and yummy.

Chips and salsa are addictive. The cucumber margarita is very refreshing and delicious. The Chicken Chili Relleno is a meal in itself. Lovely crunchy crust, tender juicy chicken and tender pablano pepper.

Enjoyed our lunch. The service was great. Food was delicious and the drinks were excellent.

We enjoy taco Teusday here with the family style tacos delivered to your table. The bacon wrapped mini hotdogs you have to try. Plus dont forget the Matador margaritas

The food was great! The Over The Top Bloody Mary was amazing! Angie our server was fast, accurate,friendly and took great care of our dining experience. We sat outside on the patio which was a great choice for hanging out.

First time here on Dad's day and had a good time. Real good food at reasonable prices. My first time with Tri-tip and eggs and loved it except for I don't care for onions or bell peppers in my home fries...not too big a deal. Oh, and milk, should always be serve in a glass, not plastic to-go cups, regardless whether it is for a child or adult like myself. All in all though, I would definitely go back.

We went on a Sunday night for their salsa class. We also ordered food which was not only fast but delicious (and a lot!). The salsa class was tons of fun. Not many people, so we had a lot of one-on-one time with the incredibly awesome teacher. I will definitely back.

I like most of the tacos they serve on Taco Tuesday. Today I tried two of the carnitas tacos and two of the Buffalo chicken tacos (these are garnished with pickled onions. Yum. Also the last two are spicy.) To wash it down I had their Mind Haze IPA. On the side I snacked on their tortilla chips and salsa. Each time I try different tacos and have not yet tried them all.

Everything was really good. From the moment we arrived until we received our food perfect Father’s Day.

This place has a groovy vibe. The inside is nicely set up. They also have a cool outdoor patio which is really nice with an outdoor bar. They have good drinks. I ordered the chilaquiles with carne asada and my husband ordered them with carnitas. They were both delicious! Their chips amd salsa are bomb! Their pricing is going towards the higher end but reasonable for the area. The chilaquiles with meat were $15. Its a nice place. We will definitely be back.

I love coming here on taco Tuesday for the specials. I loved the al pastor with pineapple, carne asada, chorizo with potato, chicken, and shrimp tacos. The drinks are good and so are the chips and salsa. The restaurant turns into a nightclub late at night so just be mindful that the music is loud, but I love this place.

Madero is amazing!! Super cool to find out the building has been around since 1899 - and this spot for over 15 years!! We loved their chips and salsa, queso fundido (cheese pull to the max!) and skinny margs to kick off our meal. We wound up getting the chicken fajitas and Birria taco, blackened fish taco, and fried avocado taco for our main. And WOAHH were we blown away!! These tacos were absolutely stuffed - highly recommend all 3, but it was great that the Birria taco came with a little cup of consome for dipping (or drenching, LOL). They have daily specials which you can check out on their website. Can't wait to come back for Brunch next time!

The Pastor Tacos were amazing the meat was juicy had lots of flavor best pastor I ever had I give them 2 thumbs up my #1 choose of meat there.. then I got the Carnitas tacos now those had flavor they were on point with the seasoning , juicy, melt in ur mouth.I would buy those again in a heart beat. And then for desert I got a strawberry flan but if your not a flan person the it would wou change your mind I did OMG my mouth is watering thinking of it.. and it was FREE for being our first time there. Went on taco Tuesday to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were seated right away for a party of four. Immediately got complimentary chips and salsa for the table and ordered tacos. The tacos were all great especially the Tacos de Birria! Must have those tacos if you come. Server was very attentive and even gave my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday and the place was very nice and clean. Somewhat busy but overall great service and experience that is always the reason for us to return again on the future and will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

The ambiance of this place is great. Feels like a comfortable family restaurant with a dark tone to it. Guacamole was delicious. Overall food was great. The patio is nice and big but can use a couple more TVs though. Drinks were great and beer was cold. Servers were polite and courteous. Bill was fair and not like a Javier’s bill. The only thing I found needed some work was the steak. It was a steak and for a Mexican restaurant I was looking for a well seasoned flank steak and again this is personal liking. I will definitely be coming back for lunch.

My boyfriend's nephew heard of this place and we wanted to go out one last time before the end of the year, the place is very popular, when we got there we had to stand in line for about 10min not bad compared to my daughter that got there later that night and waited 20min. Is $15 dls to get in, once inside they have a few bar areas, the place is big and spacious, it has a smoking area great for my boyfriend, the place has a lot of security so it's pretty safe. They play good music to dance all night, I enjoyed my last Saturday of 2019.

Weird plates. The small glasses for water give the impression that they want to push more expensive drinks. The carne asada was flavorful and of a suitable bite size, but lacked the texture I would expect if made properly from flap steak. Everything about the drink I liked.I would order it again! ~Food~ We got chips and salsa as we waited for our food. The chips were warm and the salsa was flavorful. I got the Tacos De Carne Asada (choice of carnitas or chicken). It came with two flour tortilla(choice of corn or flour) Carne Asada Tacos and a side of rice and beans; I asked for no beans just rice. I also tasted the Chorizo Ravioli. The ravioli is stuffed with spicy chorizo, cheese, beef, and topped with a cream sauce; it was good. Next dish is the Carne Asada Fries with beans, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. All of the dishes I mentioned was good. Nothing was bland and the meat was cooked perfectly. ~Customer Service~ Friendly and attentive. It was a very busy night but they did a great job taking care of our group. ~Tip~ Call for reservations ~Notes~ -Parking on the street and in the back -Taking pictures was a challenge because of the lack of lighting in the restaurant.

I used to come here back when it was a bar club, but now it's a whole different vibe. Turns out, it's actually a great spot for Mexican food. We came here for Father’s Day, and honestly, everything was on point. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere—it all just worked. We had margaritas (of course), a gin cocktail, and a salad that really surprised me. It wasn’t spicy, but it had great flavor. Simple, fresh, and tasty. The place feels relaxed but still has that bit of energy that makes you want to stay awhile. If you get the chance, you should definitely check it out.

Cool Mexican restaurant located in Fullerton on Harbor Blvd along with several other restaurants and bars. When we walked into the building, we were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. The building is pretty large and contains both indoor and covered patio seating with a bar. We decided to sit in the covered patio area near the bar. There were a couple of TVs on the wall which were playing sports. And the vibe was chilled. The lighting was a bit muted, I'm assuming for ambiance, so in addition to putting on my glasses, I had to turn on my flashlight to help me read the menu - you can still see but I have trouble reading small print in low light without glasses. I had the Dragonslayer cocktail which was not bad but a tas bit too sweet for me, but I loved the presentation of the drink, which had a flower garnish. My guest had the "Besame Mucho" margarita was really good and also had a nice presentation (lips). Food: Ordered a side salad with a nice tequila lime dressing. The salad also had small cubes of carrots and jicama. A good starter salad. I also had an order of nachos which was piled high with toppings. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and it offers traditional Mexican dishes, and really good drinks.

In terms of food, the chips and salsa were amazing. Their spicy sauce is pretty good too. Their traditional burrito with 1/2 and 1/2 red and green sauce respectively were good. The carne Assad fries were pretty good, tasted as expected but the portion seemed a little small. The chorizo Benedict was bland, the entire plate looked bland. They gave a small muffin to fill up the space on the plate. The chilaquiles was actually really good. That was the standout dish at the table of about six different entries.

The drinks were pretty good however the service was not great and the environment is dirty. The chair seat covers are dirty and have holes. The floors are not clean.

Sad to say been here many times, love the food. Except part night was the worse, bad case of food poisoning. I called just to make the restaurant aware only to be treated as a liar. Obviously I'm at fault.

They have a limited menu of food that is only average flavor, but moderately expensive. The service was substandard. There's no reason for us to go there again.

If your mom, girlfriend or wife cook real Mexican food.... stay away!!! Only good menu choice is the chicken nachos and most mixed drinks. My kids arent picky eaters and will eat just about anything like lengua tacos however took 1 bite out of their "asada" tacos and didn't touch them again. Not sure how they have over 4 stars on reviews lol

Went with my friends to get drinks, first 2 rounds were great! tipped with card. After a half an hour or so we went for 3rd round decided to get the same round of shots for my friends and I except decided not to tip on the machine and this time give her cash tip after she came around to serve the drinks but tell me why the Bartender chick with the Tattoos and blonde hair 40-50yr old looked at it, sarcastically said “Wow thank you!” and poured us less than a shot on all 3 cups! My friends and I tried telling her theres no way that was even half a shot when we legit ordered the same thing half an hour ago and got more but she kept ignoring me, didnt even acknowledge us and went above and beyond to not even make eye contact . Funny enough weve been here before, gotten the same exact drinks and never had ever experienced such disrespectful service from any other bartender here. If she was really bothered by the tip maybe she shouldve been patient and realized it was going to be cash instead of ruining our night.

I’ve been going here for 6+ years and always had the best memories with my friends. Until last night when their establishments manager cause me to have the worst night of my life. My friends and I went after a concert, and my male friend recognized the establishments manager Crystal. He went up to her and her group of her friends to say hi, and one of her friends pushed him back and asked who he is. He told her that he knows Crystal and wants to say hi, then the friend of hers told him that he can’t talk to her and to leave. Not sure why they were acting like she was some sort of celebrity, but my friend came to me and told me what happened shortly after. The managers friends must have seen him speaking to me so they came up to me asking what the problem is and that’s when they turned into animals. I was outside and one of the girls from Crystals group approached me to ask what my problem was. I told her her that’s between her and my friend, not me. And I locked eyes with the manager, Crystal, who was talking to her security boyfriend to hopefully give her the hint like get your minion away from me. But nope, next thing you know I’m assaulted by her friend and then my phone is nowhere to be found. I looked at obviously drunk Crystal and told her this was her fault, and like a deer in headlights, she had a shocked face and asked “why me?”. Ummm number one, what kind of establishment hires a manager that think it’s okay to be drunk and engaging in this type of behavior while “off the clock”. Two, what kind of manager does not de escalate the situation and just say hey to a CUSTOMER that recognizes her and let it be. She literally watched all of this unravel before her eyes and made no attempt to prevent it. I hate to assume that she thinks she’s untouchable because she’s dating the security guard (the rock wannabe), but I hope the establishment thinks twice about who they hire to represent their business. Never in the years that I’ve gone here have I been in any type of altercation, asked to leave, nothing. It’s always been a great time, but since they changed their name and team, be careful who you might accidentally bump into or try to just have casual conversation with. Because this place is all about escalating situations for the worst, and you never know, you might have the same experience if you try to greet the host at the door. Oh and I ended up finding my phone they the managers friend indeed stole and threw into the bushes. How do I know this? I located it with the find my iPhone app next to her purse, inside the bushes!

Pass this place and head to El Farlito. have been here several times and loved the food and the service. This was the worst service have ever seen. I didn’t get a plate for my food. I had to beg for silverware and a napkin. I had to wave my arms in the air to even get noticed for service. I never received an apology, an excuse or a reason for the horrible/lack of service. I’m disappointed this place has turned into such a place of lack engagement and service.
