Incredible Attention to Detail We went in with a rather small group order, and one of our friends always insists on going “super easy on the ice”. So we joked by asking that they only put a single ice cube in. Kyle went above and beyond and brought out our friend’s ice-less drink in one cup and another cup with the single ice cube. We are still dying of laughter for Kyle’s incredible ability to meet such absurd demands. 10/10 would recommend.

Good food fast! With a smile! Ok today I am changing my review. In the last 2 weeks I have gotten 3 double cheeseburgers. All of them have been cold. The cheese is like you took it directly from the fridge. Please at least microwave it for a minute. The meat is cold. The bun is cold.

Adriana was amazing! My car broke down by the HEB and she brought my route 44 sweet tea all the way to where I was. She even brought my dog a pupacino! Turns out all I needed was an oil change and she showed my how to change it right there in the parking lot! She is my guardian angel! If you need anything at all from cheddar peppers to a baby sitter, ask for Adriana! P.S. she also does roof repair and cat detailing!

I placed an order for 11 beverages on the app to be picked up. When I got to Sonic and checked in, I waited less than 1 minute when the car hop, Tracy, came out with a smile and my beverages. Great experience this time.

So this was my first time at this location 1/22/22, & I don't know who you had in there cooking around 11:30am, but those were the BEST onion rings I've had at a Sonic location in yearsssssss! They weren't over breaded like most are now, or under breaded. They were perfect & crispy! Kuddos to the cook back there!

Not sure what changed in the last month or so, but the burgers have significantly increased in quality. Much better than they used to be in the past years or so. It used to be pretty dry and ground beefy/crumbly, but its much juicier and fresher tasting now. Pricing feels more in-line with what it is now. Good changes

I'm used to the sonic on Palm valley and honestly I never expected much from Sonic. It always seemed like the employees were rude and curt for no reason and just chocked it up to fast food culture. This Sonic location has ruined that notion for me, the woman on taking my order was pleasant and asked extra questions to make sure I'm getting everything I need. I tip on the card like I always do, nothing big but I like to when I can. Then Aaron came to my car he was incredibly pleasant and efficient. I don't know who runs the place or manages it but y'all have something going right. From now on I'm only coming to this location it's worth the drive for the service!!!

Drove right up to the drive thru. i was immediately assisted. The lady took my order. Drove up to the window, and the young man had my slushes ready and even offered my dog a treat 🥰 which he loved. By the time the young man gave my dog his treat, I was feeding it to him. The food was ready. I got home, and our burgers were so hot and delicious and full of flavor. Thank you all for a delicious late dinner. We appreciate all that you do. Especially for being at work on New Year's Eve! You all are the real champions in this world. Great job.

We stopped by this Sonic on our way home, and we're so thrilled to have fantastic service, even though they were slammed busy when we pulled in. The food was hot, cooked just right, came out quickly, and the staff was super friendly and nice. The person that took our order was Luke, and he was so nice, helpful, and honestly brought a smile to my face. He made me laugh when he said have a Supersonic evening after I gave my order. He even came out personally after I paid our server, who was also very nice. So great to feel like they are happy to be working there, not enough people get thanked for the great job they do, only get info back on what they didn't do. FANTASTIC SERVICE, we will be back!

I visit this particular location in RR at least twice a week, mainly for breakfast. The young lady who works the drive thru during breakfast hours is my favorite! She's always so sweet and accommodating. If I don't stop by within the week, the next time I stop by, she always asks where I've been 😂 Keep up the great work!

Had lunch here today, and I go here frequently, the waiters are nice, and I got service quickly with 6mins. They also gave me more peppermints today which is great, and I got ketchup, and the food was great. Quick and Friendly Service, this is why I keep going back.

This is probably one of the best sonic location I’ve been to. I come here at least once a week during happy hour. The food is always hot and the employees I’ve encountered are always friendly. I want to specifically recognize Erin. He is wonderful. He is consistently always nice and rushes peoples food out to them. He seems to take pride in his job, which these days it’s hard to come by. As someone who worked as a manager for 8 years, I recognize good employees and he’s definitely one of them. If he’s not in management, he definitely should be.

This spot is terrible!!! No customer service at all .. took me 20 mins just to get a hold of somebody and for them to finally tell me they don’t take Apple Pay only card and cash !!! Atleast post a sign if there’s going to be no employees to help one single customer!! This spot is awful

Love the experience here, i never been before and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. I loved the individual drive up kiosks, the food was great, and the service was excellent and speedy. It reminded me of those waters on roler skates, 10/10. The pickle slush is my recommendation. Get it with extra pickle, you won't regret it if you like pickle products.

Every few times I've have come to Sonic's it's a good experience. The employee's perform their duties well. The food overall is good american food who doesn't like that. The shakes and blizzards are best part of going to this location. It is a 15 mile drive for me but it's worth it since you can park and eat hey maybe play a movie in your vehicle while eating.

Quick service! Edit: There are 3 Sonic's in Round Rock. I am not from here so honestly did not note the one I was at. The manager says the drive-in was not at the Mays location. Upon investigation, with some tax the charge was correct. I visit Sonic near my home and was charged a different price for the same item. I did check my debit charge for the happy hour drink since I did not get the receipt. I will make sure I have the receipt and check it more closely from now on. I think consumers now must be super careful on charges at a fast food drink place!

Like that I can order ahead on the app. Usually get my food hot and fresh, but had a few times where items were missing. I also wish there were more fresh choices (not fried) on the menu, but oh well it is Sonic. Drinks are always awesome. My son loves it here.

Usually pretty quick service and most carhops are very friendly and polite. For some reason, it seems like they have trouble keeping the ordering stations working properly at all times. It is a little inconvenient having to wait for the carhop bring your stuff out, take your card back inside to complete the transaction then have to run it back to you. Overall, good location.

Visited this one off University Blvd today. When feeling nauseated, a Blue Raspberry Slush does the trick. The attendant was very friendly. Loved the look outside with the cattuses. The doors were cute also.

Placed a mobile order. Waited over 45 minutes passed the expected ready time, with no communication. Pushed red button 2 times, first to ask for sauce to remind them im here. The second time to let them know i was leaving.. Many cars around me got orders who arrived after me. I think I got lost in the mix maybe? But still a miserable experience when I thought I could pick up and go. -------------- Must have just been a bad day. Went back just now and Car Hop LUZ was really quick and friendly. Thanks Luz!

I’ve had a couple of goofed orders, only on burgers now and then, but for the most part they get everything right and paying is easy on the monitor. I like the “round up the amount as a tip” option. I’d never tip at a fast-food or Starbucks counter, but I’ll give these carhops my bit of change. I hope it goes to them! There aren’t many places that serve breakfast all day where I am. At least not fast-food places. So I appreciate that they do. Carhops are very polite kids, ditto drive-thru.

Again, the 3rd time at a sonic, in a row, where 10 or more minutes, up to 20, pass after the screen tells me that my food 'is on the way'. I know they are just pushing the button, so that they look fast... However, this is lying. Don't push the button until it is actually coming out! The food shld be at my car within 2 minutes after the screen tells me it is on the way. This is just padding the time/numbers, not a way to do business.

Food tasted the same as any other Sonic, so if you like that then they won't disappoint you there. It did take around 35min to get food though. At one point the screen said it was on its way for a couple minutes, then that went away and displayed screen for new person to order. Waited around 6 minutes past that then pushed the button to ask about the missing order. They said they mixed things up and it would be out soon, which was about 10 minutes later, at which point they delivered it to the person next to us... but they figured it out eventually. We've only been to this location once so I cannot say the service today is typical. For that I have rated them slightly higher than I otherwise would of.

The service was very good. Once arrived and checked in, we received the food within minutes. However, we ordered the grilled-cheese BURGER, but DID NOT receive the BURGER. Kinda a little disappointed, but wasn't worth the time going back for a replacement. In any event, hope the employees in the kitchen will be more diligent when fulfilling orders correctly.

Ordered a sausage breakfast burrito that had 5 or 6 tiny little pieces of sausage in it. Enough that you can barely taste a tiny bit of sausage in every other bite. I used to work at Sonic and that's not how they're supposed to be made. Carhop Regan was great though. Just find out who's being lazy in the kitchen.

very slow.... the food took about 25 minutes to come out and the review indicating they apologize for the wait as they deliver the food are correct. I expect to wait a little longer for sonic but this isn't a 5 star restaurant. it's fast food. this is a good option if you have the time to wait.

Evidently, technical issues interfered with the app working at this location. Then no one answered at the drive through speaker, so I pulled into a stall. When they answered, they would not honor the app price for the order. Under similar situations, other locations have honored the discounted rate. I was disappointed.

This is easily one of the worst Sonics. The employees are so ridiculously unfriendly. They do not greet you and most of the time don’t even say anything to you at all. It’s very apparent that none of them want to be there nor do they care about their customers whatsoever. And on top of that they walk around so unbelievably slow like they aren’t trying to get you your stuff fast whatsoever. It takes minimum like 10 minutes to get just a drink. The food and drinks are fine. That’s why they get two stars.

I don’t like leaving review unless I feel I really need to. I ordered French toast sticks and received no syrup. Okay no big deal I’ll ask for some at the window along with a side of fries. I asked for syrup specifically at the drive thru and I received a bag with fries and again no syrup. I should have checked the bag before I left but for Christ sakes I just wanted some syrup.

Nice staff, really poor management and training. Not enough people working everyday at noon i wait forever for very simple things an i didnt decide to write a review until it took 24 minutes. Seriously 25 now to tell me i cant have the 3 corn dogs a water and some apple slices i ordered. HIRE MORE STAFF PLEASE. Just gave us two free burgers (10 minutes later) hope gets resolved i work down the street and love sonic.

Overall I'd only buy milkshakes from them. Food sucked. $36 dollar total and we're rationing condiments like it's the apocalypse. Tater tots over cooked and you can taste oil hasn't been changed in a minute. Tried to do survey but website is down--hopefully this reaches someone at the local level.

I just visited this particular store after ordering ahead, and my order consisted of 6 shakes. It was supposed to be 2 caramel shakes, 1 chocolate shake, 1 vanilla shake, 1 oreo peanut butter shake, and 1 oreo cheesecake shake. I received 2 vanilla shakes instead of 2 caramel, and my oreo peanut butter had no oreos in it. I also tried calling the store, and the phone mailbox was not set up, nor did it seem like the phone line was connected cause I got sent straight to voicemail

Short staff. Drive thru not working. The young lady that served us was friendly and got our food out in a decent amount of time. Order was 90% correct. It's good to go to Sonic occasionally but they never stand out as the place the fam wants to go to. They could get a lot better. It appears to be a owner/manager issue. The employees that I've interacted with are good folks. Always look to be short handed.

This review is about the food. The customer service I've received has been great so far, the staff is always courteous, friendly and respectful. Unfortunately the food leaves too much to be desired. I recently stopped by to get a bacon breakfast toaster combo meal. I gotta say I was in awe when I saw the size of the toaster which also went up in price from $4.10 to $4.21!....11¢ from one week to the next! Going back to the food...the tots were super cold, coffee tasted watered down, cheese melted to the point there was none inside and instead all smeared on the paper wrap. And the worse part was the size of that toaster! OMG, if they make it any smaller it's gonna be called "Slider Breakfast Toasty"! Seriously, the price goes big and the food goes smaller! Look at the picture and you'll see what I'm talking about...that's a business card on the side by the way. Smh...

terrible service, 2pm on friday so shouldn’t be that crazy and it wasn’t, maybe half full. waited 20 min before i pushed button to ask about order, said check and be right out. 100% forgot the order and didn’t want to admit it. guy that took my order in beginning didn’t even repeat my order, ask how i wanted to pay or anything just ended it when i said i was done. got the cake batter shake and it’s warm with half the whip cream melted. experiences like this is why i don’t even go to fast food and especially sonic anymore, good 1 in 4 chance it’ll be disappointing.

We drove a half an hour to this Sonic, just to try the pickle menu items. The pickle menu wasn't visible, so we asked if they still had the pickle items and was told no. I looked online and saw the items on the menu so I used that to determine my order. The young lady came back on the speaker and I ordered the pickle fries and the pickle burger, but was brought out the wrong fries. The young lady that took the order and brought out my items was SO RUDE! And she made it seem as though it was an inconvenience to bring me out the correct fries. The burger was lacking, got cold very fast, and was quickly thrown together. Not very much ice in my cup and quickly melted, so my drink was warm within a few minutes. My husband was trying to use the card slot and it wasn't reading the card properly and made his card freeze. He asked the young lady how to pay and she snapped and said, "With me!"... The absolute WORST customer service. I will never visit this location again.

I was walking out of Malwart, passing the Golden Arches, and thinking about getting a shake at this hour. But then I got a great idea. “I’ve never been to that Sonic, right outside. I bet they have better shakes.” I get acquainted with the menu, and decide to try some hot food too. So I get a baby burrito with my classic hot fudge shake. I don’t know how long it takes to make these things, but I’m guessing it’s instantaneous. Because however long it took to get someone to carry out the order, that’s how long my food was sitting on a counter, getting old. What are those pink droplets on the hood of my melted shake? When I finished slurping, I found out those were the artifacts of the cherry that rolled off the whipped topping and sank to the bottom of that mess. Because it was melted. Zero Fox Given. I get it. It’s a party night in summer, and you’ll all be going back to school next week. So this job is over anyway. Maybe the Xmas crew will do better. But next time I get that craving for a frosty treat while leaving the big box, I’m gonna just turn right around and grab a carton of mint-chip. Eating it out of the tub in the parking lot is guaranteed to be more awesome.

Food is decent, nothing to get excited about. Service is horrible, we've gone to this location off and on for over 5 years and not once have they gotten an order correct. Tomatoes on sandwich when asked for no tomatoes, whip topping on blast when not asked. Incorrect food served. Small orders of one item or big orders does not matter. Orders are ALWAYS wrong.

This is one of the worst Sonic Drive-ins I've ever been to. I currently work in the fast food industry so I know what it's like. But there is no excuse to how this location is run. I visit often and there is usually a problem. Iv'e been before and they are out of food. Iv'e also been and it take 15 minutes for a small milkshake. Iv'e driven up to the box at 10:54 and they say they are closed, when clearly it's not 11 pm yet. They have also told me that their system is down and they can't take any orders. The food is good when they have it and when it doesn't take forever, but the customer service is the worst. I live 2 minutes away but I'd rather drive further to a different location and not leave frustrated every single time. I won't be returning to this Sonic again.

This Sonic is terrible. If you are ever served (I've been there three times where no one ever answered my pushing of the buzzer, even after trying multiple lanes,) then you can expect that something on your order will be missing or wrong. Missing fries, wrong or missing toppings in sandwiches, always something. They are apparently trying to save money on their Sonic Blasts, too, because they are usually 95% ice cream with just a sprinkling of whatever ingredient you ordered, and even that is in the top of the dessert. The bottom is air and ice cream. I've given them multiple chances, thinking each time I must have caught them on a bad day, but I finally realize every day is a bad day here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Here now and they apparently can't hear their intercom and don't know their menu. We repeated the order 5 times after the 5th time I got out of my car and went to the door to give them the order for our first item. The girl at the register said that they couldn't hear us and I advised that maybe they should have taken our order in a different manner if they were having issues with their system as both my husband and I tried to place the order through the intercom. Then, I walked back out to my car where my husband was ordering additional items and the girl was so rude and cutting him off. They have a bunch of kids working at this location, who are rude and dont know how to treat customers.

Absolutely awful. Drive through is always “broken”, even though there’s a double drive through. I got here at 3:55, didn’t get an answer from the employees until 4:10. The screen went off and so I hit the red button again, and no answer. Asked an employee that was casually strolling through the parking lot if he could check on my drinks, and didn’t get my TWO drinks until 4:24. Awful

The customer service here is the worst it takes forever to get a mobile order and also super rude when running the food they just hand it to you without saying anything and just walk away, and when I go there when there’s a max of two cars it takes 20 minutes, I guess you can’t expect much from college students

I then drove up to the window sat there another several minutes and was ignored. No one ever came to the window to acknowledge me. So guess what Sonic, you don't deserve my money. Terrible Sonic. Due to it's convenient location I've been to this location many times. Extremely slow service, the first thing their employees say is "I'm sorry about the wait" every time I'm there. Today was the worst ever. They didn't get my order right when I was only ordering 1 thing and said more than once what I wanted. A small triple chocolate master blast. They brought me a small blast of chocolate sauce mixed with their vanilla ice cream. I asked before taking it if it was a triple chocolate master blast. She said no and took it back to correct. She brought the same thing back with brownie pieces on top. I've had this item before so I know what it is supposed to be. It's obvious that the staff at this location doesn't care about servicing their customers. It's sad that management allows this behavior. Having worked several years in customer service myself it's really not hard to enforce the expectation of good service from your employees. So manager get off your ass and do it!

Took me 30 minutes to get my order when I got everything it was cold as ice. The car hop stated that the cook was new which is why it took so long. I will never go back to this sonic again. I was craving sonic but this location sucks. The manager Bubba refunded me my $25 with no hassle. Left and went and got in/out.

Ordered and paid at 1724 (5 drinks and 1 hot dog) . Left at 1809 without receiving any drinks or food. I tried numerous times to alert staff and finely had to open the door to the kitchen. At that point they offered to make my order but I was out of time. This was the second time in a row that I have had an issue with very delayed service at this location. The previous time after approximately 30 minutes we actually received our order and the staff stated that the manager had just walked out. They seemed to be very short staffed and were getting things out as quickly as possible. This time that wasn't the case. Not sure of the origin of the short coming this time.

There was only one other person that was at the stalls and maybe like 2 people in the drive thru. I went to one of the stalls and pressed the red button. I waited for 7 minutes before i drove off waiting for someone to take an order. I understand a few minutes but 7+ minutes it’s a little redic. A few more came through the drive thru and was done within a minute. All i wanted was a Strawberry Limeade...waiting 7+ minutes isn’t really a “fast” food restaurant. Literally only wanted a drink that could have been completed in like a minute or two. I have problems almost every time i go to this location. Better off driving to another location even though this location is a block away from me.

Well it has taken 2 different stalls and a attempt at the drive thru just to order 2 Rt 44 sweet teas. About 10 minutes and counting. Not including a dry and quick attitude from the guy taking our order. This Sonic freaking sucks!!! Never again. Don't waste your time here unless you prefer attitude and a ghetto atmosphere. I specifically arrived 20 min before happy hour and by the time an employee finally even bothered to acknowledge me after habitually pressing that useless red button he condescendingly told me upon ordering that happy hour was over, i attempted to reason with this young man by informing him how ive been attempting to place my order since 4:40 and he only proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do. I have been coming here for years specifically for the sonic blast. The last few times I've been here the quality and service has been bad. The wait seems much longer and my cup has been covered with ice cream every time. I had to wash my hands each time because the cups are so sticky. The cups are consistently only 3/4 full and today the gave me the ice cream in a sticky child's cup with a standard top used for soft drinks. I thought maybe they were having a bad day but this has been consistent the last three times. Not sure what's going on but I'm guessing new management who doesn't care about quality or service. On 3 separate occasions in the last 3 weeks I have tried to go to the drive through window and each time I am told somebody will be with me shortly. Each time I waited 10+ minutes and my order was never taken. Each time I drove off trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Giving multiple opportunities to redeem themselves but was only put through the same process over and over. As with most Sonics the franchise owner is not involved or if they are they should be ashamed of how the business is being run. Bottom line the employees are choosing car hop orders over drive through orders in order to make more money. Simply stealing from the franchise owner and the overall company. Sad situation.

Food was good, service was ok, but i wish they wouldnt interrupt you when you are trying to tell them what you want. Edited. More interested in goofing off. Went in January. Was served an unedible hot dog. Refused to talk to me, or give my money back. Avoid THIS Sonic. Edit: I deleted the picture. After a year from the original event, new management finally reached out. They did send me a generous gift card, however, the service was still awful. Only at THIS Sonic.

I just went here for lunch. It was not busy. There were maybe 6 other cars there. I pressed the red button. I waited. I waited. I waited. 7 minutes later nothing. I was pressed for time and I don't have the time to sit here and wait for these people to get around to doing their jobs, so I just left. Congratulations, your location is worse than the Taylor one. And they serve molly with their burgers.

I came to this location on my break between classes and tried the order button 3 times and never was answered after 10 minutes so I left, then I can back to try the drive through which I was told was not operational and was told to go to a stall which took another 8 minutes to get responded to at. After being finally responded too I told them that I tried the button three times at the other stall and then proceeded with my order, the attendant (Stephen) then gave me a moment of silence before asking “what happened?” And didn’t even remember what I asked for my order, not even my side. Then I waited another 15 minutes to get my food which made me late for my class and also when I got to a point to open up my meal and enjoy it found out that I was given a number 2 burger not the number three that I had orderd. So thank you sonic of round rock.

Service was so bad! Our drinks were given to us with strawberry syrup all over the cups. As the guy was handing us the drinks we had to wipe them down with some napkins we had in the car while the cup was still in his hand and didn't offer to do it himself. I wiped down both of the drinks we ordered. That's along with him not saying one word when we pulled up to the window. The tots we order legitimately look like they were old tots that they threw back in the fryer. The manager of this place really needs to get it together and start making some improvements. I'm not even asking for excellent service these things are just common courtesy behaviors you should most definitely see when visiting your store! Get it together, sonic peeps! Geez.

Ordered 2 sonic blasts and a slush. It took over 30 minutes to get the order. The 2 cars next to us ordered food and cones and left before we were served. I asked what took so long and was told the guy making ice cream was new. I was baffled. Very disappointing and I'm not hard to please!

If your in a rush don’t come here! The drive thru is always broken and when it is “working” they take forever to answer. Usually down here to get my wife large cups or JUST ICE and it takes them 30min to 45 min to deliver our order every SINGLE TIME!!!! Idk how this place is still open! This place is awful. Last 2 times now food was barely edible. New fries too salty and kver cooked. Hot dog barely cooked and Luke warm inside. Shake was what seemed like whip cream only with a sprinkle of oreos. I will not be back.

If I could give them a 0 I would. This has to be the slowest location in the world. There is no get up and go no drive. Even in the management. Placed my order at 7:10am drive over to the location get there at 7:20 to be greeted by two separate employees saying they all got in late and needed to warm up the machines. All fine and what not bring out my drinks maybe 5/10 min later and tell me my food should be out soon. 8:00 hits and I hit the button because I just saw a car that had been there a little after me just leave. When I asked the employee about it he said I think they just got drinks, they give drinks in brown bags???? He apologized and asked if he could get me anything extra for the inconvenience and honestly even if I wanted something I was worried it was gonna take over 30 min for them to get to me. So finally my food comes out around 8:10/8:15 get home the fries and tots are overcooked and the burritos we got where poorly put together like they rushed a 30+ meal when we are at sonic not like a restaurant or busy breakfast. This visit will definitely be my last with this sonic.

Terrible. I placed an order on the sonic app. Arrived checked in with the correct stall number and waited. The kiosk acknowledged that I was waiting on my order. A little later the app said my order was on the way to the car. 10 minutes later nothing so I press the button and ask the employee about my order and she stated that it would be a minute as they were understaffed. Ok understandable, but now another 15 minutes go by and people are coming and going with their food. I hit the button again and ask about my food and they tell me yes it will be right out. My wife goes to the door and low and behold it was ready the entire time. Now the food they gave us was cold hard chicken and cold soggy fries plus the watered down drinks.

Update: It’s been eight years since I’ve originally left my review of this location, and it’s disappointing to see what’s happened to this place. In the last eight years I’ve probably visit about six or seven times, each time to only drive away because I could not get served. I have seriously waited at the drive thru to place an order and sat for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take an order. This issue has only been exasperated by the staffing shortage during and after the pandemic. Avoid at all costs. You'll find a Sonic on practically every corner in Texas and this one is just like you'd expect. Good burgers, perfectly mixed slushies, and delicious tots. We visit this location more than the others and perhaps that's why we have the most challenges with this location. My son cannot have certain things on his food, so when we attempt to order anything that is different than what typically comes on the food we seem to have issue. I'm not sure if their intercom system doesn't work right, but our orders are usually incorrect when we do order special. I've seen an improvement over the last few months, but there have been a handful of times, I've become so frustrated with the person taking our orders in the drive-through that I've abandoned my order and drove away.

I ordered through the app and every time i have to wait 20-30 minutes to get my food or even a simple drink order. One time i had only one drink to pick up and had to wait 25 min. The most recent visit i ordered 2 double cheese burgers and a kids meal. When i got there i ordered 3 orders of the mozzarella sticks bc i couldn't get them for the promotion rate through the app. I got the sticks w out dipping sauce with in 5 min and i didnt get my food for another 40 min. When i received them they were ice cold. I was also told the dips were in the bag, which they were not. Since everything was so horrible i had to throw it away. I have tried several times to contact the store and no one answers or the line is busy. I have always enjoyed sonic but this sonic is horrible. I have wasted so much time and money hopes to get a hot meal or even a cold drink. If they are going to treat their customers so poorly i wish they would just close and do everyone a favor

Went twice in the past week for happy hour, and it was super slow. It took about five minutes for them to answer the speaker, and another long wait to have it delivered. Apparently two managers quit during one of the shifts I visited for. The carhops also take their time to get to and from your car instead of hustling. I was a carhop for two years, so I know what it's like to work a busy shift. There must be something going on with management if people are quitting, if they're not hurrying through a rush period, and if the drive thru is always closed.

Definitely one of the worst Sonic experiences I've had. Burgers were cold. Like my cheese didn't melt cold. Tater tots had been fried more than once. Chicken strips were cooked so many times or held so long the kid and dogs wouldn't eat them. Not to mention how long as waited. They clocked out the order and it took at least 10 minutes and a call back to remind them about it to get my food. All around disappointing.

This location has consistently went downhill. The last few times we’ve visited this location the service is extremely slow and our orders are very rarely correct. The drive-through has been “broken“ for months. I believe the management is just too lazy to operate a drive-through. I just waited 20 minutes after the person told to please wait to take my order. My family loves Sonic, but I don’t think my money will be returning to this location. Poor service, poor management.

I waited over hour for the most simplest meal ever. Not once did anyone say that are hold time will be an hour long. I had walk up to the door just to see whats going on with our meal. Not to remind you one of the workers kept walking outside. I have no clue what she was doing, she wasn't helping no customer I know that. Went today with a few coworkers and both orders that we placed were wrong. The first time, they brought out the wrong order. Then I ordered a slightly modified sandwhich and after repeating it multiple times, it was still incorrect. It took a good ten minutes for 3 items. After speaking with the manager via phone, she said she could make a one time exception to make my order correct. All I asked was for a tortilla instead of a bun. I just said forget it. Not worth going back and possibly getting my food spat in.

You guys should really take a look at your ice cream machine. I had a couple bites of the blast I ordered & it tasted really off. I had my husband try his ice cream when I got home & he agreed something isn’t right. I hope we don’t get sick. I did call up there & the guy said “his maintenance guy will take a look at it” but you need to shut it down until you know if it’s your machine or your mix that’s the problem.

Do NOT eat the sonic in Round Rock on University. We had the worst service. Waited almost an hour for a mobile order. Waited over 30 minutes with the red button on. The manager was argumentative. Told us the food had been ready for a while because they pushed the button letting us know they were coming. The food was cold. The didn’t want to remake it but offered to bring it to us. When I asked foe it to be remade. They brought us an open greasy bag of reheated food. There is nothing worse than food that has been sitting for 30 minutes to be reheated. And it came out to us in this dirty open greasy bag. The manager explained she reused the bag when she “made us new food.” That is disgusting. They forgot our drink and our sauces. My blood was boiling. And I lost an hour I can never ever get back.

Visited this franchise for 3 years, current owners habitually understaff the operation. When we asked why they could not take our order after 12 minutes of waiting, the carhop said they needed to cook the orders they have before taking more. Great honesty, poor management

I gave a 1 because we ordered 2 blast and we paid .25 cent each to add whip cream but only one came with whip cream. We pushed the red button to let them know and the carhop just apologized and we waited 10mins thinking someone would come out but no one came to resolved the issue. So we then had to press the button again and waited another 5 mins for the manager to come and say they will take it and add whip cream on the one they’ve already sent out. When we’ve already been sitting for 20+ mins. And he also says it was a glitch in the system but if it was a glitch why would it be on my receipt?

My fiancée purchase 3 shakes, ..all 3 shakes was hella light, like it was filled with none but whipped cream, SMH. Sonics shakes did not use to be this way, barely cold at all. I feel like it's not real ice cream or little to no ice-cream. They cheat you with filling with all that whipped cream, even the 50% half off it's pricey for just foam . Again sonics use to be better, at least the one back home in Mississippi, 2nd home Dallas and the surrounding areas . This my second time not satisfied with Sonics here in round rock. Someone pulled up to the outside lane after I’d been waiting more than 5 minutes in the inside lane and their order was taken immediately. I waited a few more minutes and just left. Well, Im sure im not the only one. I have this place 3 trys before making a review but each time same experience. I order my meal "medium number 6 with a coke and a small cheese stick" i get a small fries, the hotdogs bun is cut in half, so the hot dog is a complete mess, and I never get my cheese sticks. Not once. Today, the same girl who is always at the windows. Mind you, she is a completely rude for no reason. She is obviously a teen. Flinging the windows open like me saying excuse me to get the rest of my food is a problem for her. Idk how this place is open, it's so dead because of the issues. The current owner needs to man up and figure this out or close. All these reviews are horrible for a Reason. Will never go back. ✌️

Service was terrible l. Took 30min to get my #5. I watched several cars come and go while i waited. Got it and it was wrong asked for the bacon to fix the issue and took another 25min. No apologies. I will not be returning due to the lack of wanting to take care of the customer. I go here 2-3 times a week and it takes one terrible customer service experience.

I wish I can give zero stars. Drive thru order took like 15 minites and they compleltly messed up the burger. I don't understand why they couldn't take a fraction of a second and double check the order since it took so long anyway. Burger looked and smelled absolutely disgusting. I will not be going back. It's a ripoff you're paying money and they just give you whatever food they feel like.

i had a really frustrating experience at this Sonic. First, they messed up my order, which was already disappointing. Then, while I was eating in my car, an employee came up and asked me to move because they were power washing—while the store was open and a customer were parked there! It made no sense why they wouldn’t do that after i finished my meal or before opening or after closing. It completely disrupted my meal, and I ended up not even finishing my food. Very unprofessional and poorly managed. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location it’s messed up to get treated like that after i gave this place a tip

Ordered a Oreo blast and a banana shake those were okay but the chili cheese fries were not it. I asked for a medium and I got half of the serving. Not only that the fries were hard as well.
