Hi I Am

This was my first time visiting this lounge. I entered on a Wednesday at 2:15pm. It's located right next to, The Club lounge. I got access by flying business on Qatar Airlines. Thank gawd they no longer use Golden Gate Lounge. IYKYK. Upon entering you can tell it's new. It's huge and there is so much seating area. I also like the different seating options too. It was only about 10% full. Staffs were friendly. They have a barista and they made me a pumpkin spice latte. They serve coffee by Ritual. For lunch they had a DIY loco moco station, offering rice, beef patty, gravy and egg. It was not bad at all. They also offered a salad bar, apples and oranges, some candy and baked sweets, ginger carrot soup and chicken rice soup, bread, a coffee machine with flavored syrups - vanilla, hazelnut and caramel, soda machine and a pancake printing machine. It prints 2 at a time and it was a hoot to watch it being made. At the end of the lounge is the bar area. Really nice. They offer both complimentary (wines and house cocktails) and non complimentary drinks, like beer. Their seasonal cocktail was an AperolRita. You can only get drinks for yourself. Overall, I am very happy with this lounge. I just wished it was open the last 3 times I flew with Qatar.

As a Qatar Airways passenger heading to Doha, I was pleased to discover lounge access at the Alaska Airlines facility in SFO. This lounge delivers exactly what you'd want from a quality airport lounge experience. The space strikes an excellent balance between relaxation and functionality. There's ample seating spread across different zones, making it easy to find your preferred spot whether you want to catch up on work or simply unwind before a long flight. The dining options are respectable with decent variety, and the overall atmosphere maintains that calm, removed-from-the-terminal feel that makes lounge access worthwhile. What really stood out was how family-friendly the environment is. Parents traveling with children will appreciate the thoughtful layout and amenities that make the pre-boarding experience much more manageable. The lounge doesn't feel cramped even when busy, and there's a genuine sense of space to spread out.

The new Alaska Lounge in Harvey Milk Terminal 1 is spectacular! The whole space is flooded with natural light and views of planes arriving and departing from A + B gates. Lots of different seating from lounge, to cubby, to counter and bar. Terrific selection of food and a full bar. As expected from Alaska, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to relax and get work done before any departing flight at SFO.

This is a great lounge. They have a latte bar where they make amazing lattes and other hot drinks for you. Breakfast was good. I had the eggs, sausage and oatmeal. Second best Alaska lounge I’ve been to. The best is Alaska lounge in n gates SeaTac. I have the American admiral club credit card so I think I’ll mosey over to the American lounge and compare.

The food selection in the Alaska Airlines lounge is quite appealing and food sensitive friendly. This saves time and money compared to the rest of the airport. As a nutritionist, this is paramount to me and my family. Additionally, I find ease in the check in process and the level of comfort inside to be unparalleled. In addition to relaxing watching the planes go in and out of the terminal, I love the inclusion that Alaska Airlines provides and find the artistry of this plane particularly alluring.

Comfortable lounge with nice view. The foods are nice as this is a domestic flight lounge. The staffs here are quite friendly.

Good food, great bar and lots of room. Kids club, pancake maker and delicious Starbucks coffee. Also they will make you espresso and cappuccino. Day pass is only $30.

Located in Terminal B of San Francisco International Airport. It is spacious and relaxed in the morning with typical American breakfast style, scramble eggs, boil eggs, Sausage, toasts, bagels, yogurt, oatmeals, snacks, fruits with expresso coffee, juices, water. The lounge is opened for long haul travelers.

Alaska Lounge – SFO is outstanding. The customer service was genuinely warm and attentive, and the lounge itself was spotless, calm, and very peaceful—exactly what you want before a flight. The food selection was excellent, with lots of fresh and healthy options, and there was plenty of seating along with ample power outlets, which made it easy to relax and get some work done. This is easily one of the best airport lounges I’ve had access to in North America. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

Love the quiet spacey calming interior. It’s not busy at 4pm on a Friday. Became a bit busier by 6pm but it’s still much less crowded than The Club nearby. The buffet doesn’t have a big selection but it’s quite enough for me.

Staff were good, food options a little limited/generic compared to Seattle or Portland but still serviceable. Nice views of the bay and neighborhoods surrounding the airport.

The space was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The hand-brewed coffee was especially touching.

The Alaska lounge in SFO is one of the better lounges here. It is at the beginning of the American Airline terminal and if you have the American Airlines premium credit card, it gets you access to not only the American Airline lounges, but the Alaska ones too. Of all the lounges here, this is one of the least crowded ones in SFO. There is never a wait and there is always plenty of seating, which is confusing because it is a really nice lounge. It has areas with lounge style seating where you could take a nap, that are very quiet. The food is decent but nothing special, and there is a machine that makes pancakes on demand. I wish they changed the offerings more frequently, since I am in here twice a week, but its ok. I have never been here in the morning so I dont know what their breakfast offerings are like. They also have a bunch of snacks you can take with you like chocolates, cookies, and pastries. The food at other lounges is often better but they are more crowded and hectic, and less relaxing.

Came here at about 6am. This early in the morning, the place was nearly empty. The lounge has ample seating and good views of the gates on the outside. There were scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fried rice and pancakes for hot options. Fruits, cheese and baked goods were also available. There were 2 stations for coffee and 1 for tea, pop and even a small candy area. This is a decent lounge and makes for a good place to get a quick bite before the flight. They don't accept Priority Pass though. Their Wifi is good, but the main SFO wifi is faster and more reliable.

Nice little lounge at SFO, views of the gates were great. I enjoyed the peace and quiet until a full family came in and made a lot of noise, which was kind of annoying. The food choices also felt a bit limited, but were still above average for lounge food. Overall, this is probably one of my new most favorite Alaska lounges.

The lounge is very clean and not crowded at all. It could be that we came on a Sunday, but I’ve been to the Centurion Lounge at various times and days and it is always packed. It was very nice to actually sit and relax before our flight. Food options are limited but several complementary drink options. Plus almost every seat had an outlet for your devices!

Tried the Alaska Airlines Lounge at SFO for the first time in October before my Qatar flight. Staff were friendly, and the lounge and restrooms were very clean. Nice Ritual Coffee setup and comfortable seating. Food selection was okay during our early afternoon visit. A good option at SFO.

The new Alaska lounge is definitely more spacious and spread out, which was a plus. The staff was friendly. Lots of seating. I came at 8 am and it wasn't busy. I didn't give it a full 5 star rating because the breakfast food offering reminded me of a small hotel breakfast buffet with minimal choices. The pancake maker was a nice touch but that's the only good thing to note. The food quality was disappointing for an airport lounge that hosts business class passengers and people who would pay for a pass or membership.

The two stars are only for the cleanliness of the lounge. The space itself was clean and well maintained, and it does offer a nice view of the runway. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The front desk staff in particular could have been much friendlier. The food was poor. It tasted old and overly processed. The warm pulled pork was especially bad, extremely salty and unappetizing. This is not a good place to eat. Overall, while the lounge has a clean environment and a good runway view, the service and food quality really take away from the experience. I would not recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming lounge with decent food.

The environment is great, while you’ll be absolutely disappointed if you’re looking for a quick bite before your flight. I’d say even Starbucks has more food options than this Alaska Lounge. I thought the UA SFO Lounges (both the Polaris and the United Club) were already the worst. Now it seems like Alaska Lounge could be even worse… The food in the two pictures are all that you’ll get - the same for the two times I visited. I ended up just drinking one Diet Coke / staying for 15 mins and then left (for both visits).

We had a connecting flight in late afternoon and had a two-hour layover and badly needed food. We hoped Alaska’s new lounge would let us in with a first class ticket SFO to SNA, but no. Okay $35 for a relaxing atmosphere and some food and drinks? Sounds fair considering airport food prices. BUT, the food was a real disappointment. I’ll post pics. White rice, fried eggs, gummy mac n cheese? A small salad bar? And then junk foods, like cheap cookies and brownie bites. I asked about sandwiches, and the nice attendant said I could make one with the fried egg and white bread in the toast area…wow. No cold cuts? Cheese? No fruit, except pre-wrapped apples and oranges. Terrible. Bar served basic labels for complimentary alcoholic drinks and good beers. Appreciated. $9 for anything above well drinks. Also food available for purchase at the bar…this is what I’m most confused by. Is the point of a lounge that it’s a quality experience with quality food and atmosphere? Why are they upselling food? If this is the profit model, just be aware. Interiors are new, several distinct spaces to relax or chill alone or with family/friends. I just really question what the goal is here. Like, why invest the resources into a staffed espresso bar, when a machine (the pro automated ones) will probably do the same work. Maybe invest money into food quality, prep, and service instead. Just know what to expect at this lounge and it could well be worth the money, but for three of us (one a 13-year-old) we found it lacking.

The Alaska Lounge at SFO is spacious but the setting is a bit strange and definitely not the most comfortable. It is not easy to find someone to help, as the lounge is clearly understaffed. Snacks are not enticing at all.

I asked so many times. I said, do you guys have any hot buffet inside? The front desk lady seemed to have some trouble understanding what I said, and then she said yes. I paid 70 dollars for my parents to go in there to eat, and all they got were some beef crumbles, and that’s it. I’m not mad because I paid 70 dollars for this. I’m super mad because I asked so many times before I paid about the food inside, and all she did was lie. Her attitude was also off when telling us about the access. She seemed to really care about collecting money instead of telling me what’s inside before I paid. Of course, I know some first class lounges need to be paid to get in, but lying about what’s inside is unacceptable, and trying to collect money like that is not OK.
