Recensioni di Stark's Steakhouse Santa Rosa
Traditional setting, but not stuffy. We ate lunch at the bar. Not crowded. Quiet. We both had a salad. Plenty of parking. No valet at lunch.
What a great surprise, food was so good, and the drinks a amazing. One of the best old fashions that I have had in years.
Go for the happy hour (in the bar only), if for no other reason. We tried the prime rib, and lobster, with the everything baked potato and broccolini as our sides, hella good. Had the creme brulee for dessert, it was excellent. Will definitely be back.
The parking lot and curb parking were all full when we arrived - a great sign. I had their Salmon entrée and it was very delicious!
Very nice place wonderful steaks. My wife loved the butterfish. Onion rings are more like a dessert than a side.
Great food, never disappointed when I come here. I love the ambiance and the cozy feeling of the inside of the restaurant. Highly recommend
Excellent food and customer service. Here's a tip, if you want to go in when its not so busy, go when there's a large virus outbreak and everyone is busy buying toilet paper. You get great portions with some of the best food I've ever truly had, I'd recommend definitely trying out their onion rings.
Great food and great service. Not cheap but very good quality. What a treat
Hands down the best steakhouse in the county. Stark’s is clean, classy, and perfect for any occasion whether it’s a date night, business meeting, or just a casual upscale dinner. The drinks are always on point, and the appetizer selection is so good it’s hard to choose. Don’t skip the garlic butter bread, it’s next level. I highly recommend the aged steak cooked medium rare with a side of truffle mac and cheese. You won’t be disappointed!
We have been to Starks twice. I've been to very few restaurants where the food, service, and ambiance are all amazing. Starks does them all extremely well. If you love steak, you have to give them a try. The only thing I haven't been too impressed with is the cocktails that I ordered which were ok. The experience in general is still always top notch and that's what's most important.
We decided to drive from Vacaville to Santa Rosa and stay the night last night. The hotel recommended Starks and we couldn’t have been happier. The food was absolutely amazing. Their garlic butter bread was probably the best bread I’ve ever had! We ordered the roasted bone marrow which was also delicious and had the 16 ounce USDA Prime New York which came out on a hot cast iron pan already sliced and basted in garlic butter. Dinner and dessert was amazing. The only reason why I gave a 4 on the service was because our server seemed to have a ton of tables and didn’t come around too often but that’s not his fault. I will for sure be recommending Starks to friends and family!
This set a new bar for food in my life. During our stay in Cali, we enjoyed a birthday dinner at Starks. It was absolutely incredible. We sat in the front room as we didn't have a reservation for the main dining room. The casual bar room was the perfect mood. Service was awesome, wine was great and the food was out of this world. We shared calamari which came to our table with no marinara sauce or anything else to dip it in. Very unusual (we thought) but this calamari needed nothing extra. Idk how they get so much flavor into these little pieces but it was so incredible we ordered another. We also shared oysters before our main course came. Our table was divided between the steak and fish. Both were incredible! The sides were big enough to share. The macaroni and cheese was made with cheese that didn't get cold and chewy. The cream corn was super tasty. After a couple days in the Santa Rosa area, we decided to go back for a round 2. The second time didn't disappoint. Food and service was just as amazing as the first time. This place is no fluke. You can tell they pay special attention to ingredients and staff training. The only problem is that they've ruined steakhouses anywhere else. I will forever crave Stark's level of excellence.
This is my favorite steakhouse in Sonoma County. 💯 The food here was amazing! I order the 16oz Ribeye Steak every time, and it always hits the spot. The mashed potatoes, and all the appetizers are great, but have small portions. Nice dessert menu, but the bread pudding is definitely microwaved. It’s very noisy inside, but I’m 100 percent coming back for more!
We went here for our 10th anniversary dinner since we were staying at Safari West nearby. It was last minute, but they got us in. Very nice place, beautiful and cozy. It's definitely dress up or down. There was no dress code, but we did feel a tad underdressed. This place is definitely on the higher priced side. You buy every meal a la carte! I had scallops, by themselves.. you had to add on a crock/sides of you wanted anything. Honestly, the steak my hubby had was incredible. Everything else was good, but I think it was very overpriced and over fancied up for the sake of being a fancy and expensive restaurant. My scallops were good, but the browned butter it was in was just like water, so the sauce didn't stick or really have a purpose and didn't really taste great. They were good, but nothing to be overly excited over. They had a weird flavor that I still couldn't figure out what it was. The pancetta just tasted like burnt bacon. But it was so hard and felt like sand and grit when eating. I would order something different for sure next time. The sides were good, but nothing special, although slight for 2 peopleto share. The potato skin fondue appetizer was good but basic and wasn't skins. It was huge chunks of x crispy, burned potatoes. It was good but just not what I expected. I also had the add-on cup of cauliflower and truffle oil soup. Tiny cup and expensive just to have legit truffle oil poured on top. It was ok also. Basically.. It's a dish for the sake of being fancy. Our bill with 1 beer and the tip was close to $200! And it was just ok. They were very nice and on top of everything, though. Great atmosphere, cute place.
The delicious food absolutely competes with our exquisite and professional service. I ordered an Ahi steak that was expected to be a simple 4oz to 6oz. Nope. Definitely an 8oz steak. Seared perfectly. Buddy got the hot salad. Oh my was that undoubtedly the best salad I have ever tasted. Beverages on point! And wow. When the main dishes were brought to the table...the execution was so impressive. Multiple individuals placed our plates at once. I felt like royalty for a moment. Highly recommended.
Group party of six. We shared two 32oz aged porterhouse steaks. Cooked to perfection. The wedge salad was delicious and large. Service was first rate.
We had a company dinner here the day b4 Thanksgiving 2024. The food was xcellent. I highly recommend their aged steaks and smoked prime ribs. Our server, Maggie was nice and professional. The atmorsphere was super relaxing, everything came out great! Overall, very good value, especially during happy hour. We will come back for sure.
I took my friend here last night for his birthday. Amazing food, as always. As he enjoyed the prime rib, I savored the scallops. And don't ask me how they knew (I didn't say on the reservation that it was a birthday dinner), the waiter brought out a little scoop of ice cream with a candle and wished him a happy birthday. I honestly still can't figure it out. Good surprise, nonetheless.
Place is awesome and cozy. My wife and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary which we both enjoyed because not only the waiters gave us great recommendations for the steaks but also gave us a glass of wine on the house. I truly am grateful for their wonderful service. Highly recommend this place if you are ever in the city of Santa Rosa. Starks won’t let you down.
Delicious happy hour food & drink. Monday/ Tuesday is the only day you can get a table without a 90 min wait! Their cocktails are the best, gotta try a Rufus.
Stark's Steak & Seafood in Santa Rosa is hands down the best steakhouse I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless from the welcoming atmosphere to the top notch service. The steak was absolutely perfect tender, juicy, and cooked exactly to order. The sides were incredible, and the wine selection was impressive, pairing beautifully with my meal. Every bite was an experience! What really stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their knowledge and attention to detail made the night extra special. The ambiance was sophisticated yet comfortable, making it the ideal setting for any occasion. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Santa Rosa, Stark’s is a must. I’d give it a solid 10/10 and recommend it to anyone who loves great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere.
I love Stark restaurants and has not been here yet. Old school steak house vibe. Excellent cocktails. The sides are huge, so don't over order, just share. The prime rib was the bomb!
We made reservations about a week in advance just to secure a spot for our dinner to celebrate being engaged and they had a table waiting for us! The wait was about one minute and they were quick to ask us what we wanted and our server was fantastic! We ate before we came here which was a bad idea because we were stuffed but we were able to share the lobster together and some calamari! The staff was so generous and poured us some champagne as a gift for our celebration! The calamari was delicious! Lightly crispy and had an amazing sauce on top that was slightly sweet and was able to cut through that calamari! I believe it was and orange ginger sauce! The lobster which we unfortunately didn’t snap a photo of came with ginger butter and let me just say that it was a fabulous pairing! The lobster was perfectly cooked and not too rubbery it was soft and tender! Our server was super understanding that we were stuffed and didn’t press us to order more which was appreciated as we came just to celebrate and enjoy our time in the area! I recommend a 10000x over and over again just for the amazing experience and customer service! Bonus points is that the lighting of the dining area is super moody and perfect for pictures!
We went here for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is really nice and amazing food. I had the filet mignon with some Brussel sprouts. The staff is amazing and our waiter was really nice. I would go back again for sure. The dessert we had was so good. It was a chocolate cake with ice cream and a caramel mousse. It was so tasty. I want to try there bread pudding for next time.
Stark's Steak & Seafood has been one of my all time favorite spots for years, and it continues to impress every single time. As a local, this is a place I confidently recommend again and again it’s truly local approved. The food is consistently amazing. From perfectly cooked steaks to fresh seafood and flavorful sides, everything is prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving a great dinner, it never disappoints. The service is just as outstanding. The staff is attentive, professional, and welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. They really know how to make you feel taken care of, which makes the entire dining experience that much better. Happy hour is another highlight and definitely worth checking out. It’s a great way to enjoy their food and drinks at a solid value, but it’s no secret this place gets packed. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends or busy evenings, because tables fill up fast. Stark’s has built its reputation for a reason. Incredible food, amazing service, and a lively atmosphere keep me coming back year after year
Mixed drinks were great, as well as wine service. Appetizers were excellent and the bread was outstanding. Party of 7 was there to celebrate my son's birthday #41. Steaks were top quality and cooked to pefection
Stark's never disappoints. Weather at Stark steaks or any of the other restaurants that are always spot on and amazing. Really admire and respect their consistency. Tonight was no different. Though I opted for the seafood route which was the butterfish and overall I'd say amazing as it's been in the past with the mushrooms and all. Little heavy on the butter but all around a very delicious dish and some of my colleagues got the porterhouse steak and they seem to enjoy that quite a bit with the sauce that came with it and the appetizers and drinks are all as expected
I wanted to share how pleased my friend and I when we went for happy hour . Sergio and his staff were absolutely attentive to us. We loved our shared appetizers wine and also really appreciated the servers and Sergios recommendations. I would highly recommend happy hour or dinner. The music and atmosphere was so welcoming I can't wait to go back!
I ordered the surf and turf with my steak medium rare. The steak was a little more rare than medium so I had mentioned it to the waiter. The manager came up and apologized and told me he would remake the whole plate for me even though I had eaten a few pieces already. They were so kind and apologetic but I made sure they knew it was no big deal. They ended up giving us free dessert as well for the inconvenience. Best service I have had ever at a restaurant! And the steak was delicious.
10/24/2025 Just wow! Cute little Steak House around the corner from the Junk Expo in Santa Rosa, CA where we had dinner with some Junk Haulers after the Junk Expo. After a long day of vibing, collaborating and meeting lots of new people, a nice steak dinner was needed to end the day. A table for 8 was reserved and we didn't wait too long to get our table. The tap water tasted a bit off to me, so I ended up ordering a Sprite. No cocktail this time around. I got the surf and turf which was a 6 oz Steak (medium for me, please) and 3 grilled prawns. My plate looked so small compared to the other parties that ordered their huge porterhouse steaks. I mean their meals all came on separate plates, and here I am with my surf and turf, all on one plate, lol. It was small but boy did it pack a punch with so much flavor. Hubby and I shared mash potatoes which were made with creme fraiche and made it very rich, it was delicious. All in all I would come back and try a cocktail and probably order a bigger cute steak (that's what she said) ;) Go support your #localdealer - Steak dealer that is. You will not be disappointed!
I have to say that it’s been along time since we’ve had prime rib done so right as we had at Stark! Love the service by our lady bartender, the best dirty martini 🍸 made to perfection. And we love the atmosphere and vibe of classic deco and contemporary music mixed. We will surely be back again, next time we will try happy hours and sit at the bar to enjoy handcrafted cocktails. 🍹 thank you for an amazing night!
Now this was truly an excellent dining experience! We came here for dinner as we were staying very close by (the La Rose Hotel is only a couple of blocks away). Our server was friendly and helpful and the venue is beautiful, very “steakhouse’ish” in décor and all the service there was great. The menu is loaded with many incredible options and some funny notes too. If you’re lucky enough to get there while they still have some of the day’s smoked prime rib, I’d suggest giving it a try! In my case, I asked about it immediately and learned they had enough for 3 more portions, so I reserved one. We started with their shrimp cocktail and I generally always ask for extra horseradish and many places have wimpy, mild horseradish – Will, this isn’t one of those places! Their horseradish was LEGIT! It was so potent, it’s the spiciest I’ve ever had, even more so than Eddie V’s Atomic Horseradish! Definitely flavorful and worked great on those perfectly steamed, large shrimp! The entrees here were incredible too! The scallops were a thing of beauty and that prime rib was incredible! The smoke on it was perfect and offered the nicest hint of flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted great in the jus too! Save room for dessert, they have a very nice dessert menu! We’d definitely return when in the area!
It was our first time dining at this restaurant, conveniently located near our hotel. We stopped by during happy hour, and the place had a clean, vibrant atmosphere that immediately stood out. It was fairly busy, which added to the lively energy. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine to top it off. A great experience overall—we’re glad we gave it a try!
Very chill restaurant, the environment is very nice and is a good place for dinner. Food got no complaints as the portion and price paid is extremely upper standards. The service is a bit slow in terms of order food, just the waitress is very friendly. You need to wait the food cook for about 20-30 minutes, while it provides garlic bread is nice as well.
I was really excited to try Stark after moving closer, and I had heard good things already. I would personally call myself a good judge of red meat, and I'm a sucker for a prime rib cut. I was ecstat…
Pricey but worth it. The food, service and ambiance are all top notch. It's a special occasion place for sure.
Came again and it was just as good. Only downside was the creamy potato soup which tasted like hot water. Wasn't creamy or tasteful. Other than that the food was terrific.

What can we say about 5 start service and wonderful meals that are at the table every time. Wow. Love it. Can't wait to go back. Best steak house around.

Had our first experience here yesterday. My husband loved the atmosphere. The decorations were all so beautiful. We got greated by a lovely lady...I think her name was Caroline? I'm bad at remembering names. But she was so kind to explain to us how the menu works and to try to explain one of the drinks I was curious about. The food was absolutely delicious! Only reason I didn't put 5 star is because of the price was quite hight. For 2 people with tip it nearly reached 300$ for the one night. The staff was on top of everything and water was always filled if it reached halfway (fantastic for me whose always thirsty) I had zero issues with the service. Food was great! Creme fraiche mashpotatoes was a bit on the oily side and needed salt but that's my only complain which isn't much h cause it was still tasty. And the bread....the bread was godly. I should of ordered more lol one think I'd suggest is maybe for them to get sound proofing cause it was quite loud.
Great place to eat if you like affordable fine dining. I love the starks family restaurants and this is a good one. Great happy hour but gets loud, thats a good thing as they are busy and the happy hour menu is really good. Super friendly staff. Great cozy atmosphere. This is one to come and check out for sure. From steaks, seafood or pasta, they won't disappoint. The happy hour potato fondue is so good and so filling but worth every bite!!
You know that scene in the movie “Time” where the guy is stuffing his face and people are looking at him like he doesn’t belong there? Yep that was me. I asked for the porterhouse steak and the waiter kindly explained the dish was for 2 people. I asked why and the guy said it’s a big dish. I was confused. He brings it out and I ate it to the bone. In fact I ate the little cartilage in the center, the waiter said he’d never seen that before. I’m not gross. Just poor to the core.
I knew of Stark's for some time but never really wanted to drive and park on this side of down town. This Christmas Eve I was looking for a restaurant that had holiday hours to dine with the family. Luckily, Stark's had holiday hours and were not busy enough to require reservation. Pricing wise, it's about what you'd expect for higher grade meat. Most options were 16 oz or more so be prepared to eat or share. There's a plethora of good side dishes. We got the broccolini, Brussel sprouts, and truffle fries. Broccolini was pretty good, Brussel sprouts were acceptable but a bit charred, and fries were as expected. We also got started with free bread and tuna tatare. We got a ribeye and Australian wagyu new York. The new York was pretty good. Riley was a bit tough. For dessert we got the lemon pudding which was the right level if zest and sweet. Overall, it lived up to the hype and is great given the area.
My wife and I had dinner here on a Thursday night at about 5:30 p.m. There weren't that many people there. We requested a quiet table and were seated in the back near the fireplace. Stark's has great ambiance. I like their 50's style jazz music too. We were quickly greeted by our waiter and told of the specials. It took us a while to order because their menu has a lot of options, which I like because you can configure your meal the way you want. I asked a few questions and our waiter gave us thoughtful suggestions when asked not just the usual upscale suggestions. My wife ended up getting the carmelized butterfish with a warm spinach salad. I ordered the prime ribeye with big baked potato with everything. Both were very good. My steak was cooked exactly right (medium rare). The baked potato was a little greasy (which it is going to be with everything) and it was very tasty. My wife really liked her salad. The spinach wasn't too warm and the fish was delicate and delicious. The only part of our meal that wasn't very good is the bread that came with dinner. While it looked good, it tasted like basic Wonderbread. No flavor and poor texture. For dessert, we both ordered the rich chocolate cake. It was small, but enough for us after a big meal and very chocolaty. While Stark's is expensive, I thought the quality of the food and the atmosphere made it worth it. The only thing I would do differently next time is come earlier so there aren't as many people there. When we first arrived at 5:30 p.m., it was quiet. By the time we left around 7 p.m., it was getting crowded and noisy.
Wine was very good. Potato fondue a bit too salty for me but tasty. The best part of meal were the garlic biscuits! Steak was very tender, cooked properly but not as hot inside as I’d of liked. Fully loaded potato wasn’t freshly baked, and there was a ton of butter, no sour cream, broccolotini was very tasty but not enough of it. There was too much butter on everything including the steak so I scraped it off. Waiter was a bit rude at first snatching our menus while still trying to order side dishes. Overall it was a nice meal and well cared for by staff.
Ok- we love Starks and have been coming for 6 years for an anniversary that’s special to our family. The last 2 times we have come though, we have been a bit let down. This time the steaks were great and definitely worth it, except we had one steak that was supposed to be medium and came out well done, so they brought us a new one which was almost raw, and then another that was almost raw, then finally it came out medium. And one thing about me is I HATE to be difficult and I don’t send things back typically, but we really did want our steak we were paying for to be cooked they way we preferred. But that was only 1/5 steaks, and the rest were perfect, the staff also handled it very well and never disagreed that the meat was cooked incorrectly. Besides that- I think that the sides were just ok- we usually love the miso sticky rice, but this time it didn’t have much sauce and was pretty plain rice tasting. The cremini mushrooms we got for the first time, and they were good but quite a bit salty. The onion rings were very good, a little sweet but were our favorite. The bread great as usual, nice and dilly. The potato skin fondue has always been a favorite and continues to be, would come back just for that. Overall our dining experience was pretty good, and we appreciated the attentive service, they threw in a couple desserts for our trouble with the steak being cooked as well.
A good restaurant that has the potential to be truly amazing. I visited here a couple of times and each time I was a little underwhelmed with the food on the basis it is upmarket and quite expensive. I will say the place, interior and design is exceptionally beautiful, the staff are fantastic, they offer some outstanding wines and an impressive range of whiskeys. If you have the money, it’s definitely worth a visit!
Had dry aged ribeye steak, potato skin fondue, Brussels sprouts and beef prime ribs. Nice food, great service and cozy atmosphere overall. Recommend to order the food at the same time since it takes a while to got the main after your starters. We got already full before our steaks served.
We stopped by for their weekday happy hour (3–6 PM) and were seriously impressed. The menu had a fantastic selection of bites and drinks at very reasonable prices. No wonder it’s been voted “Best in Sonoma County” year after year! We ordered a spread that hit all the right notes: Crispy calamari with orange-chili gremolata…perfectly tender with a zesty kick Buttermilk onion rings…golden, crunchy, and addictive Poke tacos…fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented BBQ oysters…smoky and rich, a standout dish Prime rib banh mi…a genius fusion of steakhouse indulgence and Vietnamese flair The vibe was upscale yet relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in Santa Rosa and want elevated bites without breaking the bank, Stark’s happy hour is a must. We’ll definitely be back!
On the tip of a someone we were paired with at a golf course today, we took the wives out for a nice dinner at Stark’s Steak & Seafood. Parking was a little suspect, but we were able to find a spot around back which was a plus. We didn’t have a reservation, but they were quick to accommodate us with a table we could grab in the bar area, which was fine with us. Service was great, food was outstanding. All in all, a terrific night.
Nice restaurant not too expensive but get there early if you like Prime Rib.. there is only so much.

Ordered the smoked prime rib and it was terrible. Tasted like liquid smoke that comes in a bottle not like real smoke from a smoker.
Engh, it was okay. Perhaps because I read so many good reviews regarding the quality and taste of food I may have went with high expectations, but it just was not a hit for me. I expected the prices to be what they were, but again, because of the other reviews and 5 star rating I figured it would be worth it. I had the surf and turf steak and shrimp with a wedge salad and my husband had a steak and the Mac and cheese. I had one cocktail (I didn't even finish it because even that wasn't very tasty) and we shared a volcano cake (now that was delicious 😋) and our total bill came out about $150. But i was just disappointed with the taste, unfortunately we won't be returning, maybe some time in the future to give them another shot (maybe they were having a bad night) so if I do go back I'll post another review if it's improved
Food was very good! Waiter was unfriendly, borderline rude. Not the first time we've seen it, so it's not a one off night for him. Other staff are great. Drinks and happy hour are great.
They recommended this steakhouse so we were super excited to try it. My husband had the bone marrow and I had a Caesar salad and cream of mushroom soup which were delicious. From there it went down hill steak had no flavor but edible. The worst was the mash potatoes omg the horrors. It was like a boiler potato, no salt, no pepper, no cream, and no butter. And the Brussels sprouts were not any better. Such a disappointment especially with a $200+ dinner I expected more.
Had high expectations of Starks, some of them were met, but unfortunately some were not..The night started slowly as we were finally served our meal 50 mins after being seated. I realize they had a large party in the other room, but that really isn't my issue, its their issue! The meals were eventually delivered, and 2 of the 3 meals looked absolutely awesome. 1) The scallops were heavenly and done to perfection 2) The Wagyu steak was charred, juicy, and perfectly done medium rare. The 3) A NY steak was on the otherhand vastly under done, pale, virtually devoid of grill marks and incredibly dry to boot (how they managed that is beyond me). To add to the (Mis)steak was an order of Mac&Cheese was draped with a cheese sauce that unfortunately had broken, creating a soup around the pasta and the gritty residue of breadcrumbs, and curds and cheese whey on pasta that was done al dante as opposed to creamy. As I said, high expectations WERE NOT met. It really was too bad, as it was a special occasion with a hefty price tag that left serious doubts on my mind about going back. I have enjoyed other restaurants within their local offerings and will continue to go to them, but Starks was an overall disappointment. One very positive aspect of Starks is that their Happy Hour is a total hidden gem in Santa Rosa!
We've had Stark's many times over the years, usually a 4 star and sometimes even 5, but last night was a total waste of almost $500 so I'm knocking them down to 3. This is not the starks of the past.…
My daughter and her friends all enjoyed their dinners during her Sweet 16 gathering. A good time was had by all, thanks to service, food, and ambience.
I've been here for dinner a few times. I've always thought it to be overrated, and tonight was no exception. Except for the incredible dessert that my husband and father-in-law shared, the rest was…
I have to admit I had high expectations. I love the other Stark’s restaurants and I love happy hour at this place. It’s a nice steakhouse that is not super expensive. Service is top of the line…
I ordered a medium rare NY prime cut steak dry aged 28 days, and it was over cooked to medium well. Also, my margarita was made from mix and not fresh squeeze as I expected from an upscale restaura…
Locals love this place, but we had a bad experience. 6:15 dinner reservations on a Sunday night to celebrate a special event. We arrived on time, got seated promptly, then....got a glass of wine and a NA spritzer dropped off at our table at 6.45. I was talking to the manager when our entrees arrived at 7 30 pm. Lots of steak options. In my humble opinion, the food is overly seasoned.
This was my family and I's first time here and our first impressions were very good. The person up front took us to a table for our reservation and we were greeted by Seth who took our orders. Unfortunately, this is where the service starts to go down. Upon taking our order, Seth quickly left and did not check up on our table. Even just taking our order, Seth had a very condescending tone which was not welcoming at all; especially when he asked if this was the first time we have dined here. It almost seemed like he did not want us to be there. The people who gave us our food were very nice and attentive. They were on top of asking us for any refills, etc. Seth on the other hand was no where to be seen, only to give us the check and to ask us if we needed any dessert. The food was pretty good, I had a nice steak that was cooked medium rare with a few sides. Other than that, I cannot recommend coming here just because of the service we have received. Truly disappointing, as the food was good. Maybe if we had a different server this review would have been more positive; but unfortunately we have no interest coming back after this.
Went in with extremely high expectations based on reviews we read. Went in as a group of 8 for a birthday dinner. Food was pricey which we were ok with, but the steak was quite fatty (like half the ribeye was fat) and the filet a medium rare was undercooked. It didn’t help that beer was spilled all over one of us and another party members food came out 15minutes later because the dropped it in the back. Accidents certainly happen but between food quality, service, and over all experience, we were not impressed. For the price, I would recommend going elsewhere.
I ate lunch here while in town on business and a personal visit. I was very disappointed in the $62.00 aged Bone-In Ribeye. First of all the bone was about the size of one bite of steak. With the size of Bone, the steak does not benefit from the flavor in the meat along the bone. In addition, the steak had a lot of gristle and the fat was tough. I understand the ribeye is a marbled piece of meat, but the quality of the steak was sub standard. Especially since they advertise it as Prime. I complained and showed the waitress the bone. She showed the chef. They didn’t offer any accommodation and I didn’t ask for one. With all the good restaurants available in this area I’d pass on this one. It’s a real disappointment. Note the Little bone on the plate as opposed to the amount of fat and gristle.
Short version Great atmosphere and service 👏 food was disappointment 😞 Now details: were very excited 😊 first time in this restaurant 😀 and heard a lot of good things about it 😀 price tag is on the high level and so was our expectations, got prime cut ribeye (one per person), BBQ oysters for starters and mac n cheese and loaded potato for the sides. Loaded baked potato was awesome 👍 😋 oysters and bread were good, mac n cheese was too greasy 🥴 and both steaks were disappointment 😞 way too much fat in it and it cooked the way you can hardly tell where is the meat and where is fat from the top, have to cut hope to separate chunks of fat to find some meat. Too make matters worse it got both of us nauseous afterwards 🤷♂️ so 2 stars because of loaded baked potato and service/atmosphere. Not sure if I will give this steakhouse another chance 🤔
This place is very popular, particularly the bar, where they do a good business in drinks and probably serve less expensive food. We came with friends who love this place and have a standard order …
I had a birthday dinner at Stark's on a Sunday. I ordered the dry aged rib eye and paid extra for toppings and addons. The steak was ordered medium rare, and had a M. Rare flag in it when it came to the table. After cutting the steak, 1cm was pink and the entire inside was blue raw. The waiter offered to recook it, but in my opinion a steak restaurant should know how to cook it correctly the first time. I asked for a Mai Tai as a second drink and it was cloying, like they used orange juice instead of curaçao. For two of us the bill was $250...
