I stopped by on a Sunday noon and I was delighted by this coffee shop. They serve quickly and with a smile. The tumeric ginger tea was smooth. Music was soft and not over bearing. And the aesthetic and vibe was carefully crafted. Would recommend.

Can’t believe we didn’t try this cafe sooner. Their iced coffee is a must in this scorching weather. Prices are very reasonable and everyone working there is attentive and friendly. I love that they don’t close before lunch because sometimes you need that afternoon pick me up! This is definitely our new go to coffee place. Haven’t tried anything else yet but will soon.

This coffee shop is one of the best in the area. It is located right in the middle of Sunnyside, only a block away from the seven train. The coffee and the food is great and the prices are no where near those of Starbucks. The place is ideal for students or for those who just need a little break in the day because it is a nice cozy little shop with a good assortment of relaxation music. Love it!

This is a cute and cozy spot in Sunnyside where you can sit and relax for a cup of coffee and scones(or take out). Their sandwiches are great with different bread options. I got an oat milk latte and it was so gooood. Next time I want to try bubble tea and am excited for flavor options!

Tried the chicken cutlet sandwich today — everything tasted so fresh and the honey mustard went so (surprisingly) well with it. Staff is extremely friendly and the sunlit but cool space is such a nice oasis and refuge from the summer heat.

I think they just completely re did this location. I thought it was a new coffee shop completely but it seems like they have reviews going back a long time so it must've just been a renovation? Anyway I don't loiter in coffee shops or use them as a personal office so this review doesn't pertain to number of outlets, accessibility of wifi, or how many tables they have to fit your laptops... It's a COFFEE SHOP; the service is great and friendly, the coffee is delicious, prices are fair, spot looks clean, and I love the location. Would definitely come back here again and love that they're open early on Saturdays! They also have bubble tea, and sell Pocky and unique San Pellegrino flavors on the side.

Got a matcha latte here. The people who work there are friendly and smiley and it looked like a nice cafe to sit for a while and hang out with friends, or get some work done. I definitely plan on coming back another time.

It is a nice little cafe treasure in Sunnyside with a favorable menu, busy friendly staff and good coffee. The prices are reasonable and the interior is well-maintained. A breakfast sandwich combo with coffee may be inviting. Although small, it can become crowding at busy hours and the seating soon occupied. Don't expect an entertainment venue with unknown musicians (not enough space) but there is free Wi-Fi ($3 minimum purchase). Much of the seating allow for nice views of Greenpoint Avenue Street neighborly activities. There is handicap entry access. The coffee shop is close by the Queens Public Library and across the street from the Jehovah's Witnesses Assembly Hall. The croissants are very good.

This is a lovely afternoon coffee spot! The vibes are cozy but chic and clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly and even ran our warmed up muffins to our table. Absolutely delicious pastries and coffee, can't recommend enough!!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood! I like their Late and Cappuccino, and my partner always orders black coffee. Besides coffee, their bacon, egg, and cheese with brioche bread is great both in terms of taste and price. The staff are always nice and friendly.

I am so glad I found this hidden gem in Sunnyside. Their signature coffees are really good. So far I’ve tried Dolce Latte, Aloha Latte and Black Sugar Latte which are all great. And their sandwiches are also really tasty and don’t leave me with a stomachache like most other places. The ave lox, maple Turkey, and pesto were all really good.

This shop always gives me comfort, the coffee and sandwich options are what I always look forward to in my mornings before work that I can’t find at other cafes, other places I’ve been to either have good food and watered down coffee or decent coffee and food that’s just ok. This spot is 5 stars out of 5 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice cafe in the area.

Best coffee in Sunnyside and a place to read or work (outlets for charging). Friendly service and diverse and healthy menu. One of the first cafés I discovered when I moved to the neighborhood and embodies the great spirit of Sunnyside! P.S. I get the Avo veggie egg sandwich on a bagel with tomatoes and arugula and can never finish it in one sitting. You definitely get your money's worth...be prepared to use lots of napkins!

Found this cozy spot in the neighborhood with good coffee and plenty of room. I can tell the owner is professional in coffee. We had little talks about coffee and the ♥️cappuccino was beautiful. The milk foam was micro, smooth, and creamy. The muffin they had from bakery outside was moist as well. Highly recommend the ✨carrot fruit muffin, a lot of raisins inside.

I love the coffee at the Avenue Coffee House in Sunnyside. But if you are looking for a refreshing and healthy drink, you have to try the fresh pressed juices. My personal favorite is the apple mint. It’s sweet with just the right amount of mint to satisfy your thirst. I highly recommend you visit the Avenue Coffee house for a delicious drink, excellent service in a great atmosphere.

I came to this place long time ago and it was very different. Today was my first time at this place after a while and it was an awesome experience. My gf and I received a warm, nice, cozy and professional service. Their menu is not super big which I personally like about coffee spots. Very simple and good options. I just wish they had more vegan options like a vegan spread for a bagel. Good experience. Good place. Excellent service. Definitely recommended. 10/10.

Staff is nice, but I don't understand how someone can order a coffee and then occupy a table of 4 for hours doing all the mail, pay bills, e-mails, calls, etc. They act like it's their personal office space.

The place is great. Kinda on the pricey side but their coffee is delicious. The only downside is that this business is often closed. I’m not sure if this is other’s experience, but - I have gone on Sundays before only to find them closed. I went today (Tuesday) again and closed. I expected them to be open today after the holiday. So that’s why for the 4 star. A regular business hours would be helpful

Great local coffee shop in Sunnyside. They have a wide variety of coffee, but also a wide variety boba tea flavors. You can get all of the boba flavors with a water or milk base. They also serve breakfast and lunch. Free wifi if you make a purchase over $3, and the wifi is strong for a cafe. Cute vibe overall!

The avenue iced coffee has been my favorite for a while. I got one today and it was 70 to 80 percent milk. I really hope this isn't the new norm for this delicious drink.

The food was fine. The coffee was good and strong. They need more Internet support. Sunnyside is a very competitive area for restaurants and cafes. They should go to 24-hour operations. Wendy's around the corner. McDonald's across the street. Subway a few doors away. Yogurt shop a couple of doors away from McDonald's There are at least a dozen eateries on the same block, across the street, or a block away.

Have the basics but are weird about WiFi. They still give out the code on a piece of paper. Come on, you are competing with a Starbucks and two Dunkin’ Donuts in the neighborhood, not to mention other independent coffee shops. If you don’t want people hanging out at your small shop, don’t offer WiFi at all.

The experience was nice but not nice enough to warrant $8.50 for two large coffees. Coffee was fine but McDonald’s has better coffee at a fraction of the price. Prefer to support small business but there’s a limit to markup

The interior was spacious and bright. The pastries were the bland boxed muffins you’d find in any deli in NY, only these were twice the price, coffee was decent, however a tad pricey due to the overpriced add-ons (every single small thing). Which I can partly get why, though most other coffee shops don’t operate this way. The biggest plus of this place, in my opinion, was the staff. They were super welcoming and friendly. Other than that, nothing stood out.

I usually enjoy this coffee shop, but my experience today was frustrating. I had already waited about ten minutes for my coffee because the barista stopped making it midway to attend to another customer. When it was finally ready, I was standing right near the bar with plenty of space for him to safely hand me my drink. Instead, he walked it all the way to the front counter, forcing me to get up and go around to pick it up. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it just felt unnecessarily inconvenient. Sometimes it seems like people get so robotic in their routines that they forget to use basic common sense or awareness of the customer right in front of them.

Coffee, staff, and ambiance are all good. But, the food is just alright. It’s quite expensive given the quality. Thought eggs would be freshly made but I saw them microwave it. Guess they make it before hand and microwave it when ordered? Not great. Don’t want my food microwaved in a plastic container.

2nd time I ask for a large drink and they give me a medium and when I remind them they just add milk on it. What’s that about? The match latte used to look green and was delicious, now it’s just milk.

I used to go to this place and ordered today 3 times to order to go. I needed to use the bathroom but they told Bathroom is for dine in customers only. I stay there normally for 10 mins enjoying coffee. It doesn’t make sense as i am paying same price and also tipping the worker. Its a self seating place.

Was the only person on line, and it took a long time to get my order. Ordered fried eggs, got egg salad instead. And the bagel wasn't even good.

This is the worst place in Flushing. I ordered matcha latte and it was with sweetener. Absolutely gross and tasteless carrot muffin, personal was toxic.

The tuna sandwich wasn’t fresh. The guacamole inside was brown and had a bitter stale flavor. It was kind of disgusting. For a $15 sandwich I expected fresh ingredients, larger portion and better flavor.

DO NOT TRUST FAKE REVIEWS!!! This place is unhygienic. If you pay attention you'll see mice poop and rodent marks that exist inside. Coffe is not organic and cheapest quality over roasted coffe. Staff handles every food item with bare hands touching all kind of things and you FOOD!!! Unless you want to get some bacterial disease DO NO EVERY USE THIS PLACE!!!
