After a long day at work I decided to take out from papas pasta. Babita the cashier greeted me with a warm smile and walked me down the steps in ordering. I got a penne pasta with vodka sauce and it is the best pasta I have ever had. Even after walking 30 mins the food was still warm inside and it amazed me. Definitely recommend to everyone especially the vodka sauce.

Hidden halal gem - pasta shop that is mostly take out with 3 stools and small space should you have to dine in. Happened to come across the place by google search and what a find! Chicken parm was amazing, really loved the marinara sauce, shrimp were awesome along with the roasted garlic. Fusilli pasta had chilli pepper kick and also very good. The only item that did not hit was the garlic knots. From an experience perspective, the ladies running the counter/kitchen were extremely nice and helpful. I will be back to try some more stuff 👍

Upon my arrival to this hip, the new spot called Papa's pasta 😋 I was checking out the menu outside the shop then I was greeted by the host (Rachel) I ask for her recommendation about the special and ended with the penne Alla Voda with chicken with mozzarella and got pesto shrimp 🍤. Rachel recommendation was to eat it while it was hot 🔥 and my gosh I love that she told me that. Penne alla Voda with chicken cullet the (Tom devito special) they also come with topping 3 choice like bread crumbs or crispy onion or fresh mozzarella. The chicken was cooked with love the pasta was amazing and I was so in love with the dish as I was sweating while eating this dish 😋 when you make something with love ❤️ you must eat it with love. I was making sweet savour love to this dish. As a Chinese italian I was so impressed with this dish 5/5 for me The shrimp dish smelled amazing but I was filled up on the penne alla Voda dish 😋. Ordered on UberEats for pickup Surprised my partner after a long day with dinner from Papas Pasta. We had the potato puffies, biscuits, Chicken Alfredo & Shrimp Gnocchi Pesto sooo good! Wow let me tell you my super picky partner couldn’t get enough of his plate and neither could I he kept questioning me as to where this spot is located. Authentic Italian food just like Nonnas cooking.. This is definately one of our new favorite take out spot! Amazing customer service too, so happy I decided to try this spot in Sunnyside. A MUST!!!

Got my takeout Mac & cheeses then decided to add parmasean because why not? Get more cheese everyone loves cheese. Tried the create your own version and made Fusili with Pesto and Breaded Chicken with a little bit of spice. The pasta was cooked to the perfect texture. The Create your own version is a bit expensive than the Original Menu but it was worth the price.

For $10, this can't be beat. 10-15 minutes and you're good. Flavor is on pint. Service with a smile. So far they are 3 for 3 or cups. The meat sauce is bomb. Not man places you will find this kind of grub for this price. I recommend this all day! I'll give the chicken dishes a try but I have no doubt they'll be equally as bombdiddly.

The food is absolutely awesome! I've had different Pastas, different sauces, different proteins, and they were all made to perfection! Staff is super friendly and Kitchen moves fast! This is VERY convenient on Queens Blvd especially if you are coming off the Queensboro Bridge or coming off the 7 train at 40th Street (exit south east side). Great value and beats paying $30 in Manhattan! I recommend the Gnocchi Ala Vodka with Mozzarella. Small seating area so expect to take your order to go if you can't get a seat. They're open very late and there's a crowd but the line moves quickly!

Given the hype on social media platforms about this place - I had to try it and boy oh boy was I impressed! $10 for fresh and tasty pasta in a cup was a win and in addition the portion is a lot also! Highly recommend the pesto gnocchi chicken (I also added shrimp to mine), the chicken alfredo, the shrimp alfredo and the penne alla vodka!

This little hole in the wall has a great business model - delicious pasta for $10. You can add stuff to increase the price, of course, but the $10 menu is very tasty! I got the chicken parm and spaghetti and the chicken was made so well, and the spaghetti sauce was well seasoned. My husband had the spaghetti bolognese and was very happy with it. A very filling meal for $20 and tax. Definitely will be back.

Very clear & straight forward menu. I got the $10 spaghetti & meatball cup. It was very flavorful and the meatballs were cooked just right. My cousin got the penne alla vodka with chicken and that was also very delicious. I definitely was drooling watching my cousin eat the penne because it just looked and smelled so delicious! He wouldn’t share i ended up getting one myself with bacon bits and mozzarella cheese topping. Total price was under $40 (we got drinks too). So this was definitely a deal for 3 meals and a drink. See photo of the $10 menu. The staff was also really friendly. Parking was also super easy to find. I parked underneath the train so I just crossed the street. Overall, I am an extremely pleased customer and I would highly recommend this spot. Hidden gem and affordable prices cant go wrong! Also PSA: they are open until 2 AM how great is that!

I found Papas Pasta on Google Maps while finding a place to eat and I came across Papas Pasta. I also found out they have Halal food options. I went to check out the spot today and they showed us the menu and which pasta they have. Me and my sister we built our own pasta with the pasta of our choice and the protein, sauce, toppings and spice level. I got the Gnocchi Alfredo Grilled Chicken Pasta and my sister got the Rigatoni pesto grilled chicken pasta. The portions are really good and the pastas were delicious. I will be back at Papas Pastas.

Even though I only ordered spaghetti and meatballs, I will still go back because it's a reasonably priced restaurant.

The food was actually better than what I thought it would be being a hole in the wall spot. I love that you can fully customize your cup to whatever you want and that they close late for those of us with a late night munch.

this place adds a unique option to the late night food lineup which is usually tacos and pizza. is this the best most gourmet pasta ive ever eaten? no. is it still really good? yes. got the penne vodka with chicken and had good sauce to pasta ratio, pasta was cooked well. things came out within 10-15 min and store was blindingly yellow

Food is good but super overpriced and can only be ordered through third party apps which comes with additional fees. There's fees for everything, an advertised priced of $12.99 for build your own pasta quickly becomes $25-$30. And don't order the Tiramisu it's $15 and taste like the one from the grocery store.

Great concept but the food wasn’t very 23 well seasoned in my opinion. I may have needed to additional toppings.

Seen this place all over TikTok and Instagram so sad to me it was over hyped. The only thing I can say good about this place was that the portion size for $10 is well worth it. We got two flavors the penne à la vodka with chicken and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The penne à la vodka was good but good be better. I feel they are lacking in flavor severely. Also note if you want to place an order before had though any of the websites listed through google they are not $10

I heard such positive things from two social media influencers. I got the pesto gnocchi with chicken which is the replacement. For the bacon version. Tasty! But possibly not worth the $10 price considering serving size. I realize the staff was dealing with a busy late night crowd and multiple online orders, but there was a significant disconnect between the staff hiding in the back behind the curtain and those waiting to order. And those ringing the bell were far more patient than those ignoring the bell. Lots of amazing food choices in Sunnyside. I will consider others before Cups of Pasta.

The pasta tasted "fast foodish".. not to my expectation. The fettuccine alfredo was drowned in sauce, and the penne a la vodka with chicken tasted off. Not sure if would go again, no place to dine in and the food did not make a great first impression.

The clean and warm atmosphere is definitely an additional bonus. My friends and I ordered several different items. I was unhappy with everything I had eaten. This dining experience was an epic failure. I would not recommend any dish on the menu.

I ordered from this place, and the person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful—I’d definitely give him an A+. The pasta was tasty and cooked really well. I had the spaghetti with Bolognese, which I enjoyed. However, I found the dish to be overpriced—probably $5 to $7 more than it should be. That said, the biggest issue for me was the smell in the restaurant. I don’t mean to be rude, but there was a very strong smell of curry, almost like Indian food or something with strong spices. As someone who is half Indian, I have no issue with those smells in general, but I don’t think they belong in an Italian restaurant. I walked inside for less than one minute to pick up my food, and 15 minutes later, the smell was still on my clothes. Unfortunately, that completely turned me off from the experience. Overall, the food was good, and I might consider returning because of the excellent customer service. However, they really need to address the smell—it’s not something any restaurant, whether dine-in or takeout, should have.

I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and mozzarella sticks thru uber eats and honestly The fettuccine alfredo had a off taste, not sure i think it was missing more cheese honestly the taste was kinda weird that’s okay maybe it’s just my preference, the mozzarella sticks were delicious though. I look forward to trying the penne à la vodka next :)

I came across this location upon doing a search for new places with good food via UberEats/Google in the Sunnyside area. Checking the menu this place received good reviews. Decided to give them a try. I ordered an order of buttermilk biscuits and pasta bolgonese. We were excited to try the food. Delivery came with no issues. Upon opening my order, I received the pasta, no biscuits, instead 2 coca-colas! - The pasta itself was ok (a bit bland) This is where the problem lays. As a restaurant/or any business, you cannot take it upon yourself to substitute items. you don't know what a customer may/may not consume. I personally do not drink sodas. I called the restaurant asking about this, the man who answered said he couldn't do anything, along with they tried to call me. I checkef my phone, the number which he called from came up as "spam risk", which was different from the actual restaurant's 347 #. It would have been better off to cancel the buscuits portion of the order period. If this is how you are going to do business, be prepared for many complaints. In response - To business reply, as mentioned , substituting ones order is my opinion is NOT a courtesy, either cancel part of the order or as you stated reach out to UberEats to alert the client period. The same way you were able to locate my number is the same way you could have addressed this. Also No message was left until days later. Al in All - This issues has been resolved. Have a great week.

I ordered the bolognese and chicken. Their ordering app told me it would be ready in 10 mins, and 7 mins later told me it was ready for pickup. That wasn't true - it took over 20 mins. When I got my order I had to rush out, and it turns out they didn't even pack the chicken. I tried to call to talk this through but no one picked up. The pasta is fine but this establishment needs to get their operations sorted. This first experience is not enticing me to come back at all, nor to recommend it to anyone.

I was not impressed by this pasta place and would not come again. I thought it would be good with all these good reviews but was severely disappointed and wasted 50 bucks. I got a chicken parm which tasted like preheated chicken nothing special and the person got my pasta order wrong. And the garlic knots were horrible, just thick lumps of dough with no garlic. The reviews here are saying this place has a nice ambiance. This spot is a tiny order only pasta spot...the order area won't fit 3 people. It's closed for lunch but open from 3pm to 1am. The pasta taste like box pasta. Nice fake reviews talking about the 5 star dining atmosphere...guys do yourself a favor go across the street to the dollar store "after your long day" and pick up some premade meals...it will take much better than this box pasta and jar sauce. I ordered the nonna’s creamy fettuccini shrimp Alfredo, a pasta dish, it was served without salt, with shrimp that were very hard to chew (a sign that they were old and frozen) in the plate I found a hair! all this for $20. never again! Please improve the service and the quality of the food

Food came out cold and WAY TOO SMALL. I ordered ahead in Uber Eats and it was supposed to be the bigger size pasta, the normal small size. I was charged $15 for a $10 sized pasta that is about the size of a mini ice cream. So 50% more. Complete rip off... There was like no chicken either and it was so bland. I would’ve complained and asked for a bigger size but I was running late. Such a disappointment. I loved coming here and I don’t think I’ll ever be back.

Omg this place is crazy!!! The food was so nasty i had to contact UberEats to get my money back. The alfredo sauce tasted like something out of a jar/can that wasn’t good at all and like they added water to it or God knows what. I ordered the crispy chicken special and paid an extra $8 to add shrimp as well and got like 5 shrimp it seems. Imagine i would have paid $28 minus the fees for what you see in the pic. The portion size and taste, are they crazy???? Just a ridiculous mess!
