Good coffee and baked goods options with reasonable prices and friendly help. The home made pop tarts were fun, we tried the take on the cinnamon and the filling was rich and flavorful and the baked casing was well prepared. The crumb cake had good flavor and the right amount of powdered sugar. The donuts were baked well with good flavor. And while I’m not a coffee drinker my wife has returned there several times saying it’s the best option for coffee in the area.

The Corner Bakery is our favorite ! The pastries are amazing and the coffee is always fresh. If your looking for a bite before the beach or grabbing some goodies for the office, this place is a must. Highly recommend!

Awesome little place. The kids loved the Elephant Ears. The coffee was good and the owner, Sam, could not have been nicer. Will definitely be stopping back and ordering a birthday cake.

Great addition to Surf City! The layout reminds me of some of the bakeries in Italy - standing room only. Order a variety and sit at a bench outside or bring them back home for your friends and family. Just order extra because you'll probably eat a couple on the way home. I believe their menu items can change depending on the ingredients available for the day. When I went, they had about 4 different types of crumb cake including a crumb-only version. I also loved the carrot and cream cake. I tried about 6 or 7 different items and everything was excellent.

Stopped by today and my daughter loved the elephant ear—it was huge, bigger than her face! I don’t usually go for crumb cake but kept sneaking bites of my husband’s, it was pretty good. The latte was excellent too, just as good as those fancy coffee shops~

First time in this bakery, stopped in for coffee and something for breakfast. Very nice, fresh baked items, friendly staff, very clean. Nice variety of baked goods. I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! We had the blueberry muffin, brown sugar pop tarte, and the iced latte. Everything was wonderful! The pop tarte was wonderful, and the muffin was very cake- like (my preference). Definitely will be back for coffee and a snack- love having something so close to North Beach 🥰

Great local spot. Everything’s made fresh. Staff is super friendly. The pastries are legit, and the vibe is laid back. Easy go-to for good coffee and something sweet. Will be back!

We ordered a few different things so we could try. The pop tarts were a little dry, needed more filling and need instructions on how to heat maybe. The muffins were ok, light and airy. The cinnamon bun comes in a pan that prob would be nice to throw in the oven to heat but again, maybe a sticker with heating instructions would be nice. All of it besides the cinnamon bun was stuck in a brown bag, which some things didn’t survive very well and we only had a two block walk home. The store is tight but very clean and the display is very pretty. My husband ordered two different crumb cakes and I think the person behind the counter heard one of EACH so we ended up with a lot more than we expected and said they were a little dry. My mom said the scone was dense, but good. In comparison to other places on the island, we might go somewhere else but convenient and have coffee options so we will try again. The iced coffee was great and will return for that and maybe try some other baked goods.

Blueberry crumb cake was awesome but that $8.50 large funfetti cookie was not only ridiculously overpriced but tasted like nothing. Place should probably show their prices so you're not surprised/appalled when you get your receipt.
