Sorrelle Bar & Grill is a hidden gem! The shrimp scampi was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Andrea, the chef/owner, was incredible, wearing all the hats and making sure everything was just right. Can’t wait to come back!
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would that’s how good it is. From the moment you go in the door you are well cared for. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff spot on. Jill was our lovely server and she did a great job checking on us just enough to be sure we needed nothing else. I think my photos will sell you on this wonderful restaurant.
Wonderful place! Two of us went in on a Saturday night and it was BUSY!! However, our wait time was 45 minutes we waited maybe 20 minutes to sit so not bad at all on a Saturday night. For a busy night the service was nothing short of exceptional, it was fast service for both food & drinks which made our experience that much better! Our server, Austin, made sure we had everything we needed and is the exact type of server most people would hope for, answered all our questions with great knowledge of the menu and once again made sure we never had an empty glass of water or a drink. I highly recommend this place and I hope this helps you pick your restaurant for the night! (Don’t mind the half eaten pictures we dove right in because it looked so delicious, and it sure was!)
Our late lunch al fresco was wonderful. We walked inside first, then straight out to their patio. Waitress was attentive from the start. We had PEI oysters, along with roasted corn arancini and pepperoni pizza for the kiddo. Their warm crusty bread with basil oil, parmesan and crushed red called for seconds. They are known for all-around very good food and never disappointed. For entrees, I got their special of basil crusted halibut. My wife had the wedge salad with grilled chicken. Drinks were timely. The service was exceptional. Dessert was house made tiramisu. Our company also had lemon cake, which may have to try next time.
Amazing food, highly recommend tenderloin medallions. High class food moderately price. Everything from salad to entre was delicious!!!
We celebrated father's day here ... Delicious food, father's day special Swordfish and A Rack of Lamb. Service was great. They even have gluten free options. The lave cake was awesome.
Went here with a party. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. All food items including appetizers were cooked to perfection. Presentation was excellent. Calamari appetizer highly recommended also. Stuffed Sole in photo was extremely fresh. Cooked perfect with crab and shrimp stuffing over spinach with roasted potatoes. All guests enjoyed food and experience. Waitstaff courteous and professional.
I found out about Sorelle on an episode on Phantom Gourmet and pistachio cheesecake among other meals mesmerized me! I called on a Sunday evening to make sure we would have time to enjoy the meal and D politely answered and patiently answered all our questions told us that kitchen closes at 10p; so we hit the road!! D remembered me when we came in and the entire staff were nice and professional. Bread w special olive oil w chives for dipping the fresh bread, eggplant side, rib eye, pork chop, side orders, pineapple bread pudding, and pistachio cheesecake, my Friend and I had no complaints!! And leftovers for another day, maybe two!! BTW: Cheesecake will be part of my breakfast as well as dessert, 8 hrs later!! I will be back w another Friend!! Thanks for exceeding my expectations, D, waitress Jordan B, bar tender who brought out food, the chef, and others who assisted and made our Friendship Evening w my out of town guest bon appetit!!
Sorelle is one of the hottest new restaurants on the South Shore and I had been trying to get a reservation for months. Was finally able to visit on Father's Day no less! I was a big fan of Vin & Eddie's which was the prior restaurant in this spot so I had high expectations. Well Sorelle did not disappoint! The whole experience was fabulous. Service was excellent and the food was great from appetizers to dessert. I got the anitpasto, veal chop, and bread pudding and everything was delicious. My daughter got the bolognese which was so good! We will definitely be back!
Started off at the front hostess was upbeat brought us to the table. Our waitress was Bridget 10/8/22 she as well full of energy and knew the. Ww menu well that just came out. My Daughter and I shared a bottle of Pino Grio and the Tuna two way appetizers. It was brought out so beautifully I almost didn’t want to touch it but lord it magical tasting each bite. Only thing is we did not care for the flatbread pizza piece you can use for it. Dinner I had the CHIANTI BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB Parmesan Whipped Potato no one can beat this these amazing.Caramelized Brussel Sprouts, Baby Carrots, Crispy Leeks vegetables were under cooked and Bridget took the plate back no big deal meal still was fully satisfying and a thumbs up. My daughter had the CHICKEN STATLER SALTIMBOCCA Prosciutto Spinach Asiago Stuffing, Wild Mushroom Marsala Sauce, Sweet Potato Hash, Fried Sage. I honestly would of asked for the filling to go for the chicken it was just that incredible. Thankfully she shared lol ! Ppl are truly missing out on this gem of a place and I cannot wait to return. Even the ladies bathroom was spotless and decorated beautifully.
We had a larger group celebrating my nieces finishing their first Boston Marathon!! What an accomplishment! Well, the appetizers were so scrumptious, I couldn’t eat my meal. The crab cakes were unbelievable!!! It was my first time here. It’s my niece’s favorite restaurant. Now I know why. 5stars!!
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow. But did I mention that the food was excellent.
Amazing meal! Best calamari ever! So many layers of flavor in every dish! Loved the braised beef in the Bolognese... Espresso martini and Fig martini were on point!
The food & service were out of this world! The meat & cheese board appetizer is amazing and the pork tenderloin special I had was fantastic. Highly recommend this place, it is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!
Feb 2024: Came in on a Wednesday and it was packed, but we were seated immediately. Cozy atmosphere. We ordered the Street Corn pizza and the Chicken Saltimbocca. Both were amazing; full of flavor and fresh. Got two drinks as well which were both good. One of the best restaurants around this area.
Amazing spot one of my all time favorite Italian spots outside of Boston! Definitely worth the 40 minute drive in rush hour traffic on Friday!!!
Stopped for lunch with a friend after shopping nearby. Warmly greeted and quickly seated. Great food, service, nice wine list. Definitely returning!!!
My new favorite restaurant! Every dish has been perfect. I love shrimp scampi, and that place has the best I've ever had. Whenever someone wants to meet for lunch or dinner, this is the place I recommend. The staff is very accommodating. The atmosphere is perfect, not too loud, and not too quiet.
I am a foodie from way back, and always checking out anything new. In the last few years I keep going back to Sorrelle's, Being my number one hotspot. I have never received a meal that was nothing short of five stars right down to the desserts. The portions are great, the staff is great . I have even ordered my turkey dinners from there at Thanksgiving, I was so impressed with both taste and portions. Just amazing!
Food is absolutely amazing, well paced meal and attentive service without being over bearing. Definitely will be back!
Sorelle is a great place for authentic Italian food and atmosphere. The service is excellent and provided by friendly and fun staffs. Allan, General Manager, is one of the best restaurant managers we've ever met. He always makes us feel very welcomed and enjoy our dining experience. He constantly checks in with all the guests to ensure the quality of everything in the restaurant. We really appreciate his time and efforts. The whole team is dedicated to providing guests with excellent and unforgettable service. Thank you!
I did not eat here, but played an acoustic set with a guitarist in the bar area. The restaurant is good size and the bar also has seating for dinner. My friends said the food was delicious and the drinks looked amazing as well! We were very well received and the patrons and the staff were very nice and totally accommodating. I would love to go back when not performing to chill out and relax. Also, the host was awesome!!
Always great food and service. Maddie was very attentive. Best calamari I’ve ever had. Bolognese never disappoints.
We went to Sorelle last weekend with a party of 13. We made a reservations and they had us in one of the semi-private back rooms. Everything was amazing from service to the food. Our server (I think his name was Ryan) was AWESOME!! So personable and very attentive. He made sure we always had drinks and bread. Food came out promptly and everything was delicious. Most people in our party had never been there and they all said they would definitely be back. One of my new favorite restaurants.
Love Sorelle Bar & Grill! I’ve been eating here for years! My favorites include: the roasted beet salad, house salad, sirloin burger, crispy chicken sandwich, honey-braised beef short ribs, roasted chicken, and the pizza. The only dish I've tried that I’m not a fan of is the shrimp scampi—it could use more flavor. The waitstaff and bartenders are attentive and friendly, and there is plenty of parking.
Had a great family Christmas Eve lunch/dinner here. Drinks and food were phenomenal. Service was very good. Slight mix up with one wrong entree, but it was corrected quickly. Highly recommend the bolognese and brown butter toffee cake. My mother got the roasted chicken and loved it, which is saying something because she is incredibly picky, especially with chicken. Crispy brussel sprouts were also a fantastic starter. Overall a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back!
Was there last night first time. Espresso Martini was so good. Shared the Meatballs and each had a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was so inviting. And service was excellent. We will be back.
We had incredible service from Lexie last night. It was a very large party ordering and eating all at the same time, with lots of special requests, so many things could have gone wrong. Lexie and her co-workers were somehow able to keep all of our food coming out hot and fresh, our drinks filled, and everyone feeling like they were getting fine dining level service. We will definitely return soon without the large group to try more of the delicious food.
My wife and I were there on Monday, January 19 2026. We had just walked out of Tavern In The Square in South Weymouth. It was our third, and last, experience at any of their locations. We should have just gone to Sorelle in the first place. The service and food at Sorelle's is ALWAYS above the board excellent. We always sit at the bar and when we walk in and see that Matt is working, we know all will be well!!! Keep up the great work both on the floor and in the kitchen because you never disappoint!!!!
Food and atmosphere was really great, and our server Madison was exceptional. We enjoyed the quiet room for a family gathering, so easy to talk with each other. Totally recommend the eggplant stack!
We had our rehearsal dinner last night 8/8/2025 and it was the best night. We booked the entire patio and the vibe out in patio was amazing between the string lights and the fire pit. Food was incredible, staff was even better! I highly recommend!!
Had the best dinner experience with our bartender Olivia!!!! She rocks!!!! Calamari knocked my socks off. Good bread too.
This was my first time here and it was delicious. I was surprised by the bread and green oil, but it was amazing!! The bread was warm and fluffy. The yellow noodles were yummy and flavorful and the thanksgiving sandwich was also good. I would recommend the crème brûlée for dessert.
Dined in reservation for party of 6 for my birthday and had a good experience. We got drinks, apps & entrees. Red & Coconut Sangrias both were very sweet with no taste of liquor and mostly filled with ice, the $9 glass of wine could of been a bit more filled. But the bread was very good, Margarita Pizza was good , Angus sirloin burger was good , both Calamari appetizer could of been more of it for the price, and Lemon Cake for dessert was good. Our waitress was nice. The restaurant was empty on the side we sat on for lunch. The bar side was more busy. It was our first time in and after reading reviews we figured we'd give it a try. Plenty of parking. Over all good time.
We came here by accident,we were going to Taz’s place but the wait was long. We saw this place and decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, was nice , and relaxed. The food menus was upscale and drinks were good. I did gave to ask for a bit more gin in my drink and less sweet. I had the Braised short rib with squash and potatoes. And some sort of pear pesto topping. It was delicious. My husband Who is a picky eater had a burger and he loved it. Overall I would come back to this place it was a good pic. we also had the lava cake and it looks delicious.
I came here Saturday mid afternoon with my family (this is my second time coming here). The establishment wasn't fully packed around this time, which was great. The host welcomed us and was able to hold great conversation while walking us to our table (he gave us a few great laughs). I had wine, while my sister had a cocktail ( I can't remember the name, but she liked it. There's a pic i took of it attached to this review). Our waitress was the best! The food was good (the bread and oil they have as a starter is delious! I ended up taking some home). The atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and very family oriented. - deffinently will come again here for family lunches/dinners.
Decided to go to Sorelle’s as our friend came down from NH and wanted Pumpkin Ravioli. We’ve been here a few times and it’s always been fine. Our friend said his Ravioli was excellent. My husband got the Statler Chicken which he also enjoyed. I got the Atlantic Cod which was very disappointing as I found 2 large bones and couldn’t eat it. I decided to revise my review after the owner/chef contacted me about this. She was very apologetic so I appreciate that. So we will give them another shot. Thank you Chef Andrea for reaching out!
One of the new items on the menu is chicken cordon bleu. The sauce was great, the sweet potatoes were great, the chicken was cooked to death. Dry, sawdust, tough. It had ham and cheese on it but the flavors were indiscernible. Someone needs to teach the chef how to cook chicken. Very disappointing. Service was great. Wine selection was great.
The food and atmosphere are excellent. I was very disappointed in the service at the bar this past Saturday. The bartender, Mark, wasn't interested in waiting on two female friends at all. I sat with an empty glass for at least 20 minutes and he skirted around us the whole time to pay attention to couples. When I eventually gave up and flagged him down to pay the check, he said, "I didn't want to interrupt you two because you were deep in conversation." Huh. The couples were all talking too but they got drink refills. It was lost revenue for the restaurant because I was looking forward to a second cocktail and dessert. We had both elsewhere :) It's just disappointing because I have never been treated that way at Sorelle before.
Very helpful. They went above to get us a table when we didn't have a reservation.
I've been wondering what the lobster roll is like. The presentation is impressive. Generous amounts of lobster. If you're in the area. This would be recommended if you have not had a chance to try. Don't forget the oysters.
First time trying this place. The menu didn’t have much of a selection that appealed to me. Tried the cod entree which had a delicious sauce all over the vegetables. The cod itself didn’t do anything for me, but the vegetables and sauce were really good. Also tried the muscles which came in a non traditional sauce. The sauce tasted better with bread, but I’d rather have a red or white sauce for mussels. Service was very good and always checking up on me.
Attentive staff and excellent service. Food was served hot and overall enjoyable to the palette, but small portions and high prices (guess that's the gourmet menu) will prevent me from making this a regular dinning experience.
Wife and I have been going here for years and we liked it in the past but the passed year our opinion it’s been going downhill. Has become everything a bad restaurant becomes, overpriced, apps are small and bad, dinners $30 plus minimum, drinks are minimum $15. Has become a small ripoff no longer a “Hey let’s go to Sorels tonight”
I’ve been three times in the 6 months and it keeps going downhill. Meatballs were heavy on the breadcrumbs, the risotto that came with my scallops was gummy and everyone’s entrees were lukewarm. They were busy but tables were empty. Last visit I shared feedback with staff. This time sharing my review- it’s too expensive to be this mediocre.
The service and atmosphere of this place was great. However, the food was not. Everything had zero flavor. The salmon was burnt and small for $30 and the Chicken Parm tasted bland. For the price the food was terrible.
I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel like I have to share my experience. This place was extremely disappointing. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, and for just three meatballs, it was $18. They were served cold and smothered in cheese, which wasn’t enjoyable at all. For the entrees, we had the chicken parm and the Bolognese. The chicken parm was drowned in sauce, and the sauce itself was not good. The Bolognese noodles were soggy and not appetizing. We barely had a couple of bites and ended up not even taking leftovers home. The bill came out to $100 for food we couldn’t even finish. To top it off, one of the waitstaff had their vape plugged in under our table, which i knocked over when i pushed my chair in and was kinda gross and felt really unprofessional. If you end up going here maybe order the burger definitely don’t get Italian.
I would rate this establishment zero stars if possible. From the moment we were seated, our server displayed unprofessional behavior. Instead of directly addressing her need to leave early, she resorted to making faces. The food quality was subpar; the pasta was mushy, the chicken overcooked and appeared old, and one order was completely incorrect, with no apology offered. Even the table clearing staff lacked basic courtesy, instructing us to stack plates without a please or thank you. The pistachio cheesecake was also disappointing, resembling more of a pistachio mousse than a cheesecake. The overall staff demeanor, characterized by unprofessional facial expressions directed at patrons, was extremely disappointing, especially considering the positive online reviews that prompted our visit.
Food is horrible. Do not spend ur money here. . For dinner i got the surf and turf, it was covered in this cheap, inedible cheese sauce. It was salty and even the presentation was disappointing- i wish i took a picture to show you this dog chow. The "surf" was fried shrip, and it wasnt flakey it was like thick dipped fried dough. Bartnender avoided asking us how our dinner was because she knew it was disappointing. We left with our plates full and our stomachs empty. I will add the space is very beautiful. And When we first got there, we ordered crabcakes. They were cold so we sent them back, but the bartender did bring us a new portion that was warm. Thank you. The steak, although salty and covered with gross cheese sauce, was cooked perfectly. I will definitely never be coming back here again though.
The food is horrible. Bland and prepared terribly. Tough to screw up chicken parm but they manage too. Terrible sauce and overcooked linguine. Eggplant appetizer was embarrassing. Again, tasteless sauce and all batter. Short rib and mushroom ravioli might as well have been made by Chef Boyardee. Just mushy flavorless fat. A poor excuse of Italian food. The 2 bright are the staff is great and the wine list is good. Other than that its terrible.
