The food is perfectly cooked, there are very rare places that achieve this for me. I would recommend the Porter House, as it is fairly priced. I.e the Tomahawk is too expensive for what it is. The service is impecable, I travel with a child with a Dairy Allergy, and all of the chefs and staff were super careful. That to me is invaluable.
Excellent service and food, everything you spend is worth it.
From the moment we walked in everyone greeted us warmly and were very nice. The service provided by Moises and Cesar was top notch, incredibly friendly, courteous, and very prompt. They had no problem sending back a creme brulee, not because it was bad, but because my wife is allergic to nuts and wasn't aware when she ordered it. The cuts of steaks we had (petite cut NY, and filet mignon) were on point delicious. The desserts as well (creme brulee, salted caramel brownie, and chocolate bomb). This is by no means a TGIFridays or Outback type restaurant so I would only come for special occasions, but would absolutely recommend for an outstanding steak dinner after a day at the beach or to get away from hotel food. Thanks a ton for the memorable experience!
THIS IS AMAZING PLACE...I COMING FROM CHICAGO AND ALL INSIDE IS INCREDIBLE...ALL YOUR COSTUMERS SERVICE AND CHEFS AMAZING FOOD DELICIOUS
Very expensive, but VERY worth it. A 5-star experience, with the most attentive wait staff we have ever seen. Salmon, steaks, oysters on the half shell, fresh baked breads, we tried a little of everything it seemed and it was heaven. I wish they had palmpay too so that we could pay with crypto, but other than that everything about the experience was exemplary. :)
A nice place with proficient waiters. But don't recommend the cowboy steak. They intentionally leave fat for those who enjoy that.
Delicious and excellent service. Even though there is no kids menu, the staff kept my kids surprised with an amazing dessert.
Acapulco is a place where most restaurants open pretty late, so we ended going to Harry’s because was one of the few that opened at 1pm. And let me tell you, it was a happy accident. The restaurant is beautiful and with so much needed AC. The food was really good, well cooked, great flavor and beautiful presentation. The service was good.
Beautiful place service is great just expected I little bit more of the steaks we ordered for the price we payed.
The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. I had lamb chops. They only give you 3, so you'll definitely want more.
An amazing restaurant 🕵️ in the upper class, of what is acceptable in the present Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. This eatery has very good wine in its rich list menu, and not least a very good <<< À La Carte Menu >>> to choose your personal meal from. The foods used are exquisite of quality and also look very attractive on the plate 🥘🍜🍲🍝🍮🍾🍸 at your own table serving. In summary, I can say that I highly recommend this eatery to all other people who are very food interested. The total score I give in this case is four ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and a half stars, according to the fact that there are some tiny details that do not completely satisfy. Greetings from a very demanding customer, from the Kingdom 👑 of Norway 🇳🇴 who have emigrated to this city, by the very beautiful Pacific Ocean in Mexico 🇲🇽 Enjoy so much all folks 🤗
Great place to eat. The service is fantastic and they put attention to details. Dry aged beef: 21 days is not enough they should really push it forward to 45 or 90 days. Steaks: they are really good but a bit pricey. Pasta: I tried the lobster rissotto with truffle and it was amazing . Side dishes: The Mac and cheese with truffle and the spinach are ok. Wine : good selection of wine , if you are reading this please try a Mexican wine. Si
This place is really not worth the time or money. Unfortunately it is one of the last fine dinning restaurants in the area however the food is not very good. The staff is very attentive and the decor is ok, but the food is sub par. The steak and cuts are perfect but every other dish is pretty bad. I was particularly upset with the worst baked potato I’ve ever had.
Let me start by saying the food is really good. The service was great and price reasonable for the quality. It was the perfect dinner. Here comes the down fall My total was around 255.00 Dlls when it was time to pay I handed the gentleman a 100 dll bill three fifty dll bills and 5 ones. He then told me I can't take ur money we don't accept bills over 50dlls. Ok no problem one of my friends exchanged the 100 for two fifty dll bills. I also added a 20 dlls bill I figured it's not 10 % but close enough I had no other change. They don't take 100dll bills so good enough for a tip. After a few minutes he comes back with the 20 dll bill and wrote on a paper that and tells me at our exchange rate that 20 dll bill is what the the 20 dll bill converts to in mexico he then said that is not even 10% . I responded a tip is not mandatory I'm also a server are you trying to tell me you don't want the 20 dlls he then responded no its just not enough. I then proceeded to hand it back to him and said do you want it or should I put it back in my purse. Enough said he took it. How ever that totally ruined the rest of the evening. I'm usually a big tiper but I had no change this really made me feel bad I was embarrassed but not for my response I was embarrassed for his actions. I would never allow one of my employees to approach a client in that manner. I would have rather him write on the check suggested tip before he handed it to the consumer then it was upto the consumer if he wanted or was able to pay the tip. Or simply make it mandatory and add it to the total on the bill. I will not return simply because I felt so awful we were seriously having a debate over a tip.
One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long long time. Ended in food poisoning and a really expensive bill. First off, the bartender didn't know how to make basic cocktails. We ordered Negroni and Old Fashioned cocktails and they were not made with the proper ingredients and the old fashioned was like drinking sugar water... way too sweet and watered down. The "Raw Bar" is a joke. Nothing in that restaurant is fresh. For food, we started with Kumamoto Oysters. They were all dead and clearly off... they smelled rotten but were still brought to our table. We returned them and they took them off the bill... but for a place like this, those should have never been served in the first place. We also ordered a tomahawk. It was cooked to the correct temperature, but the outside of the steak was burnt to a crisp and made every bite super bitter. For a $4000 peso steak, I expected better. We also ordered several sides, but they were all very basic and lacked flavor. Desert was boring and felt like it was made several days ago; it wasn't fresh. During dinner they served another table some rotten fish and it smelled up the entire restaurant. Absolutely disgusting and shameful that the chef let that dish leave the kitchen. Service was chaotic and rushed. There are WAY too many people working at one time in that restaurant. There were maybe 6 occupied tables in the whole place and around 30-40 staff running around everywhere. It was complete chaos. For 3 people our bill came to over $10,000 MXN. I don't mind spending money on good food, but this place was horrible. I have eaten in many restaurants around the world that are far better than this one and for a fraction of the price. I will never visit Harry's in Acapulco again, I advise you to think twice before doing so as well.
We ordered a burger and specifically asked to cook it well done. We received it medium cooked. After complaining the waiter tried to find excuses. He did not offer another plate or solution and on top fully charged the burger. This should not happen in a restaurant like this. 😒 the tuna tartar was delicious and the tostadas habichi as well. I can also recommend the drink “kinky”!
Went for lunch on the 1st of February with my family of 4. Spent 10,000 mxn (!!!!!) to only get 2 intoxicated children and a sleepless night. My kids had a different meal from us, they ate kobe beef and nitrogen ice cream. They vomitted all night, suffering from terrible nauseas and cramps, having now diarreas and being totally dehydrated. I don't know how long it will take for them to recover, they have not been able to eat for the last 24 hours. I am extremely upset and concerned a branded restaurant I trusted to eat at is so irresponsible with basic hygien practices and standarts. This is totally unaceptable and unforgivable to serve contaminated food to any customers, especialy children ! It clearly reflects a terrible management. You are blacklisted for me !
This place was a disappointment. We went in with good expectations and the experience was not good at all. The service was really slow and the food was not worth the price. We got there at 9:30 and had dinner at 12:00am,.... starving. I do not mind paying for good food and service, but right now I only feel robed of my money and time (even the drinks took 30min). I do not recommend this place at all.
