We were strolling around the city because we booked a place to have a lunch , and we decided to take aperitivo before and we stop at this place .. long story short we decided to come back after lunch because how much we love the cocktails , the person and the ambience !! For sure we will come back if we are around the city !!

A great place for an aperitivo. We chose the three-course hot menu suggested by the waitress and were pleasantly surprised. The table was carefully set, and the service was impeccable. They immediately served us the classic chips and olives with our glasses. Then came three mini portions, which amounted to a three-course dinner: appetizer, first course, and second course. Everything was excellent. Special mention for the attention they paid, right from the moment we placed our order, in asking about any allergies or intolerances.

Located in the town's main square, overlooking "la bolle" (the boiling hot spring). The service is truly meticulous, down to the smallest detail, from the courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness of the waiters to the elegant presentation of the dishes and the beauty of the dishes and cocktails themselves. We went for an aperitivo, and I must say everything was superb: exceptional, unique, and high-quality cocktails. The service was timely, not too fast but not slow either, and the waiters were very discreet, even when it came to disturbing the customers. Along with the cocktails, they serve three truly exceptional courses. All for a truly negligible price: €18 for two cocktails and all those wonderful dishes. Also recommended for vegetarians. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I've rarely found places like this, where the quality of the food, the courtesy of the service, and the prices are in perfect harmony! We went there for lunch with my boyfriend (one of the few places that didn't close at 2:30 PM on Saturdays) and we also returned for aperitivo: excellent dishes, superb wines, and helpful and friendly staff. As if that weren't enough, the background music selection is also remarkable. Congratulations!

Sotto i portici, con vista sulla Bollente, che volete di più? Cibo buono (io ho mangiato un hamburgher, davvero ottimo!) e servizio gentile ed accurato. Prezzi un po' alti ma ci sta, si paga la location.

Locale accogliente con ottimo spazio sotto i portici per i tavolini da bar. Fuori dall’orario della cucina hanno proposto un toast che era un vero pranzo, enorme e super imbottito. Servizio non veloce ma attento e gentile, tornerò per provare i cocktail.

Enjoyable breakfast at the outdoor table in the Piazza della Bollega, with plenty of tables available, including under the porticoes. The table service staff is very courteous and attentive. My only complaint is the mask pulled down; if worn correctly, it would improve hygiene and professionalism. The cappuccino and croissant are delicious, and the prices are fair.

ho dato una stella solo per scrivere la recensione, non si capisce perché fanno finta di non vederti, e non ti servono, locale vuoto la cameriera innaffia i vasi , sposta le sedie, ti passa accanto e fa finta di non vederti, dentro altri 3 camerieri? proprietari? fanno comunella con la loro combriccola e non ti servono. Incompetenti

Ci siamo seduti alle 11 in punto per la colazione, la cameriera, nonostante i nostri richiami e il locale quasi vuoto, si è presentata a prendere l'ordine 20 minuti dopo. Attesa di 15 minuti e ci ha portato due cappuccini e due fette di torta come richiesto, visto che briosche, focacce e panini erano finiti. Conditi via con due scuse sulla giornata no e ciao.

We had lunch yesterday at Caffè dei Mercanti, which is a nice location. The lady who served us should probably choose a different profession. Perhaps it was just her day, but she made things unpleasant for the guest yesterday. The guest was more of a burden than a blessing to her. You didn't feel welcome. The food was fine, though.

Very slow service and very pricey! There was only one waitress and it took forever to place the order. They charged us 8€ for two teas, abusive! It's in the charming square but not worth it. Better to find a place near the square that does not have ridiculous prices.

Absolutely horrendous service with a 50 minute wait for our food. The food did not arrive at the same time and the staff was very inattentive to our needs. The amount of French fries was some sort of scam. See picture. Considering the generous and attentive nature of Italians this was by no means in line with other service and quality of food we have received during our several week travels in Italy. Such a shame.

7 euros for a very small amount of babera wine is a way too much. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Two disinterested waitresses were standing there, smoking and looking at their phones. No contact was made. We sat down ourselves. We got the feeling they weren't interested. We didn't get a lunch menu, and no one asked what we wanted to drink or eat. They simply stood at the table and waited for us to tell them what we wanted. The drinks were practically thrown on the table in the middle. Again, not a shred of friendliness or any kind of contact. Then they went back to smoking and looking at their phones. So we finished our drinks in their cigarette smoke, paid, and walked out. They don't know what hospitality is like there. Not a good advertisement. Next time, we'll sit across the table. They're much friendlier there.

Very disgusting. Service is terrible slowly and inappropriate. Santero bar in front them are definitely 100 times better.
