We decided to try out this spot and we're not disappointed at all. The whole atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and quick. The hotchata latte is really good. The bagels and all of the breakfast sandwiches are all so good.

Really quaint coffee shop with nice ambiance and plenty of seating. Staff was kind and polite. Lattes were flavorful, and the food was good. Little bit of a wait to receive items, but nothing crazy. Nice spot for a quick lunch date or meeting with friends!

The coffee here was incredible. Smooth and tasty! Seriously wouldn't change a thing! We got a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and a Vanilla Latte and both were perfect. We will be ordering here again. Things I did want to note the sausage bagel sandwich could have used a spicy sauce, the sause on there was rather bland. The chocolate croissant was made with milk chocolate and not dark chocolate. Which I did not like but other's might. The croissant itself, however, was flawless.

This breakfast spot was a great choice overall. The place was packed with people working on their laptops. The staff were hospitable and the food was tasty overall. We spent about $50 on breakfast whereby we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, two blueberry muffins and two lattes. The muffins were dry but packed with blueberries. We enjoyed the seaded bread.

I had the coffee walnut cake and the Bhakti chai both of which were excellent. The chai isn’t a typical desi chai- but it does actually taste quite exquisite. Highly recommend that with the cake. We sat outside the server kind of forgot about us. But she was very sweet.

I’m a coffee lover through and through. But that means the only beverage I can review here at the time is their pour over coffee. Let me start with the good. The environment is hip with a bit of modern but still comfortable. The staff was polite and knowledgeable. She was more than willing to briefly talk coffee with me. It was a Thursday around noon so not a lot of folks. I was very impressed with the coffee. The pour over was smooth and not even remotely bitter. Even more impressed was the staff knew the roast date of the bean which is a must have IMHO. Really the only downside I could find here was the price. They charged me $5 and some change for a cup of black coffee. Dear Lord people what is happening. Regardless I forked it up for this cup but based on the price alone I will not return here. This price is well above any other “top notch” craft coffee places. Maybe it’s the location or the crowd but I can’t believe they charge that for 12oz of coffee. On top of that the pour over is ELECTRONIC and only requires the barista to push a button. Take away here? Fantastic coffee in a comfy environment. Downside, too proud of their product.

I live out of state and remember ascension in TX being SO good. This location left me underwhelmed for sure. We were looking for a satisfying brunch after an early flight. The food was cold, the service was meh, and the bread tasted like it was frozen with Starbucks’ stash. On the bright side, we enjoyed our coffee. Skip this location if you can, y’all.

This is my first time trying Ascension! They’re interior is super cozy and spacious, it was a busy Sunday but we were able to snag a table to study at. Menu had very exciting options with both the bevvies and food. I got an horchata latte, Sunrise bowl and some eggs. Wait time was understandably a while but the staff was working fast! Eggs came and were bomb. We were very let down by the sunrise bowl tho… for 11$ you do not get much for your buck :( The amount was absurrrrrdly small for the price (Pic is of it all mixed up) The eggs were more filling and yummy! my horchata latte was lost in the shuffle too but staff was very kind and immediatley helped me out and brought it out quickly. It’s A very yummy latte. Overall, I’d return to have a bevvy and study but id be wary of of the food options and their portions!

I ordered a cold brew and a sausage-cheddar everything bagel and was given a table number and within minutes, my items arrived. The cold brew came in a tiny serving glass, a small tumbler but it tasted good and when requested, the staff refilled my glass, but not sure that's standard. The bagel was crunchy and tasty, well portioned, and I enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would visit again just to try more items. Thank you :)

these are two different drinks, the first one is a cortado and i understood that they come in small amounts but today I ordered a macchiato and it’s like they made it but they forgot to add the milk and slapped on the lid, very disappointed in these tiny amounts..

We’ve been loyal customers of Ascension Coffee in Frisco, visiting at least half a dozen times, and it’s always been great—but the Addison location was a serious disappointment. I ordered the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich, and my girlfriend had the avocado toast, both of which completely missed the mark. Honestly, a $4 McDonald’s breakfast sandwich had more flavor, warmth, and care than what we were served here. The only redeeming part of our visit was the chai latte, which they managed not to mess up. Overall, the food and atmosphere felt low-energy and uninspired—save yourself the trip and head to the Frisco location or even McDonald’s instead.

I WILL NOT BE SILENCED, THEY REMOVED MY REVIEW Unfortunately, I didn't plan on writing a review, but the staff left me no choice. This is the only place where you can be harassed, cussed out, and provoked by another customer for absolutely no reason, only to be the one who gets kicked out. The argument started because another customer wrongly assumed I was cussing him out in a different language, which makes you wonder how he could possibly understand it if he doesn't even speak the language. I never raised my voice, never used profanity, and never disrespected anyone. Despite that, I was treated like the problem. Instead of de-escalating the situation or addressing the customer who started it, management took the lazy route. I was told to "never come back again", which honestly says everything about how this place operates. Chris, in particular, was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive, showing zero interest in hearing my side or handling the situation professionally. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they did nothing wrong. If you value respect, fairness, or basic customer service, take your business elsewhere. I know I will.

Never had a good experience at 3 of 3 locations. Stay away. Horrible parking. Asked for porcelain cup, got paper because they were doing the dishes. Watched the lady put on 1 glove for a salad then grabbed food with the ungloved hand. 1 bathroom not accounting for all the people either. Stay away.

If youre looking for the kind of service you’d find at Ascension, this isn’t it. Totally different vibe, energy and I guess company policy then the other stores. I sat outside for 15 minutes and nobody came to take my order. I came inside and asked if there’s outside service to which the blue haired gal with the nose ring said ”No, you have to order in here.” But when I asked why was it a couple of weeks ago I sat outside and someone came outside and took my order and delivered my meal and coffee to my table, but now the 4 people standing around behind the counter looking bored are saying different. I’d avoid this location and go to either the Crescent or Rockwall locations.

Visiting Texas. Asked for their signature cold brew, from the pics here. They didn’t know what I was talking about. Wound up with a hot coffee in this summer heat. Ordered a bagel, they asked butter on top, or on the side. I asked for it on the bagel. Received cold unspreadable butter on the side
