We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Chef's House and the entire evening was exceptional. This was our second visit and the thoughtful presentation — rose petals down the table and a single rose at our place — set a lovely, romantic tone. The staff were warm, attentive, and perfectly timed with each course. The food was the real highlight. The meal opened with a delicate palate cleanser, followed by warm, house-made sourdough and butter. An appetizer of mussels was full of flavor, and a salad featuring fresh kiwi was a surprising standout — bright, balanced, and unlike any salad I’ve had before. Another palate cleanser refreshed the palate before the main course: a beautifully cooked steak and lobster served with creamy mashed potatoes, asparagus, and roasted root vegetables. Dessert was a light strawberry mousse topped with a chocolate-dipped strawberry, a sweet finish that felt just right. If you want a special-occasion spot with thoughtful details and consistently excellent dishes, this is it. Highly recommended.

Incredible First Experience – Perfect for Adventurous Foodies! First time at Chef's House in Roanoke and it certainly won’t be the last. We loved it! The experience was great from start to finish. The service was over the top—attentive and welcoming. The food itself was delicious, and the rotating set menu is a perfect concept for the adventure foodie in everyone. It is BYOB, which is a huge perk. They uncorked and served all the favorites we brought from home seamlessly. For reference on value, we had a party of 6 and the total came to $570. Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. From the palate cleansers to the appetizers, salad, and entrée every course was intentional, beautifully presented, and perfectly executed. I actually loved that there wasn’t a traditional menu to order from. The pre-designed meal created a true culinary journey and allowed us to fully trust the chef’s vision. The service was just as impressive as the food. Attention to detail was on point all night, and having the chef personally come out to check on us made it feel even more special. You can tell there is pride, passion, and excellence behind everything they do. This wasn’t just dinner it was an experience. Highly recommend.

We are foodies - so ever Anniversary we go big but we out did ourselves this year! Chef's House in Roanoke, TX was spectacular! Better than Hell's Kitchen (9 yr) & Nobu (8 yr) Anniversary dinners. This restaurant is truly next level cooking - Go try it - you won't be sorry, except when you eat too much 🤣

What an amazing experience at this family owned restaurant. The food and service were fantastic and we loved that it was byob. They had palate cleaners between courses and everything we were served was excellent. We went during the week for a bday dinner so there were only 10 people seated. What a gem to have in our community!

Such a fun concept for dining. We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was a wonderful experience! We actually got lucky and it was a private dinner. The music was perfect, not too quiet nor loud. Very cozy, yet charming restaurant. The food was amazing (I’m the pickiest eater ever.) Ate everything. Perfect spot for date night, special occasions, family outings, or friend gathering! It was $65pp which is not bad for the portion size and quality. It’s also byob (or they offer a pairing for $30) we did the pairing VERY nice touch. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Definitely booking another table here again!

Amazing food in a cozy atmosphere. Feels like you are being pampered by family. Set menu changes each night. BYOB. Everything was delicious! It is obvious they prepare and serve their guests with passion! Feels like a supper club with only 20 people per seating. Please help keep this small family business thriving by NOT canceling or no showing. They purchase quality products and prepare for their reservation headcount. On our visit they had a party of 6 no show. That inconsiderate act hurts the business AND keeps the rest of us from scoring a reservation time once the secret is out and this restaurant experience is highly sought after. Can't wait to visit again!

Chef’s House is a truly special farm-to-table experience. With only 20 guests served each evening, it offers an intimate and thoughtfully curated dining atmosphere. The menu changes daily, featuring fresh, innovative dishes crafted with herbs and vegetables grown right in their on-site garden, along with locally sourced Texas beef. Every detail—from the flavors to the hospitality—feels deeply personal and genuine. It’s a warm, one-of-a-kind culinary experience unlike any other. Truly a unique restaurant to experience in DFW.

This was the first restaurant I've been to in a while where I felt the food quality, atmosphere, and service was worth every dime. Definitely better than any other high end restaurant you will come across in downtown Dallas or Fort Worth. Every little detail is so well thought out and everything tasted spectacular. This was such a cool experience and I can't wait to go back!

Rarely do I go to a restaurant where every aspect (service, atmosphere and food) is spectacular. Tonight, I experienced the most delightful meal. From the moment we arrived to the end of our meal, there was no fault to find. The food was exceptional. The service friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Do yourself a favor, and make reservations at a Chef's Table. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Chef Sage and Buso for a wonderful evening.

Chefs House puts out phenomenal food at a reasonable price. I went in during the soft opening and they were excellent then and came back for a lunch where they were excellent again. Just call ahead for a reservation otherwise you will likely be turned away.

Truly some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. They grow a lot of their own produce and the chef went to gather herbs for the dishes as dinner progressed. All of the dishes tasted so fresh, flavorful, and like they were made with love. The service was impeccable! The waitstaff was attentive and the chef came to explain every dish. The atmosphere was cozy and felt like you were at a friend’s house. We chose to do the wine pairing with the meal and it was fantastic!

Celebrated my 41st birthday at Chef’s House. Chef Sage was so easy to work with and very accommodating. My friends were so impressed and they can’t stop talking about it. The homey non pretentious ambiance and delightful gastronomic menu was truly memorable. Congratulations Chef Sage and best wishes to your new culinary endeavor!

Had an absolutely excellent dinner here tonight during the soft opening! So different from anything else in Roanoke, this place has a set menu that uses ingredients the chef grows in his garden and other local ingredients. We enjoyed seared lions mane mushrooms and squab over truffle polenta and strip steaks and were completely stuffed! Be sure to BYOB as he lets you bring whatever wine you want with no corkage as they wait on their liquor license. We can’t wait to come back!

It was an exceptional dining experience driven by craft and intention. Each course was bold yet balanced, derived from European roots with subtle Asian notes that added a rich, yet complementary depth. Every flavor was intentional, layered, and clearly curated with care. Back of house garden-grown herbs and chiles gave the dishes a fresh, vibrant, and living quality that stood out. Artisanal plate cleansers between courses kept the experience fresh and focused. Our attentive server enriched the experience by meticulously describing each dish with genuine knowledge and enthusiasm, helping us appreciate the ingredients and choices behind every course. This is a place for people who are truly passionate about culinary artistry and seasonal innovation.

This small family ran fine dining restaurant rivals any high end restaurant in the DFW metroplex. When I say that this is the best meal I have had in the Dallas Fort Worth area in years. With their set menu of same day, fresh farm to table ingredients every course was crafted with love and passion. If you’re looking for a special occasion or just an amazing date night look no further but book fast because this intimate dining experience will book up fast. We will be coming back for years to come.

Loved our experience at Chefs House! Super intimate with less than 30 patrons per seating (2 per night). Chef visited each table, you can’t help but have a nice view of the kitchen unless you have a large party, and don’t forget your wine! Probably the most decently priced meal at a coveted restaurant we’ve had in a long time. Our waitstaff was so attentive. The menu is always changing, but everything was delightful! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Chef’s House offered a unique experience in an intimate setting. The food was creative with each serving (4) showcasing a unique blend of flavors. The service was top notch with Josh and Chef giving the right amount of attention but still allowing for an intimate setting. I hesitate sharing this review for fear that I won’t be able to get reservations going forward but it would not be right if I didn’t share such a wonderful restaurant.

Tremendously enjoyed our dinner here. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and loved every bite. The only thing I will say is it gets a bit warm in there so don’t overdress in the summer. Dress light!

Chef's house is a unique experience. The food is nothing short of amazing. There is a different menu every night. The service is very attentive. While the food is certainly fine dining, the entire experience is unpretentious. It's almost like going to a friend's house for dinner...a friend who is an amazing chef!

There is good, then there is great and Chefs House is definitely great. From the moment we walked in the front door, the experience, food and service was as good as anywhere we’ve been before. Fresh cooked food, served perfectly with a great sense of passion and pride. We will be back and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I am not a foodie but Mrs. G and the gang wanted to go so I obliged. Food was very good. Hospitality was off the charts. Service was attentive. Pricing was a solid value for the experience. Menu is a bit of a guessing game as they change it everyday but what we had was great. Weekends they pretty much always have meat but they are set up to accommodate requests (fish, vegetarians, etc...). Got to love the free parking right out front as well.

Excellent food and experience worth the price. Intimate setting given limited seating for 10-20 guests. Reservations are absolutely necessary. Went during the holidays when they had lunch reservations available as it was my wife's birthday and she's wanted to try this place since it opened. I wish them every success with this style of restaurant as it was fantastic.

The food was very good, The service was Amazing. but the atmosphere was very chill. Look like you’re going to have a four course meal in your friends house I was dressed a little too dressy for this lol because from what I read, it was a five star, every table has different napkins and silverware. The chef comes out to see you, which was nice. Again, it’s like you’re hanging out in a friend’s house, which is probably what they’re trying to go for overall it was a different experience, but not what I expected and of course it’s BYOB so you really couldn’t hear yourself talking because it’s a small place with little like 20 people
