Hopdoddy Burger Bar delivers an outstanding experience, and it all starts with great management and team balance. The service was top-notch—fast, friendly, and well-coordinated. The staff was upbeat and professional, which made the visit even better. It’s clear this location is well-managed and committed to providing excellent service every time.

Amazing food, atmosphere was amazing. We have to talk about a certain server greeter by the name of Balanced. Wow this guys was so knowledgeable about the menu was very helpful and was very attentive. I haven’t seen this type of service in a very long time.

I’m into a lot of burger places in my day but this one definitely it’s top of the list! Great vibe chill atmosphere super friendly staff. Food was incredible and they got everything perfect. The Mountain Moon burger, the burger of the month for November, is unreal. The combo of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors is just spot on. Best burger I’ve ever had here. Please add it to the menu! Sweet potato fries were so yum. I love that they have a lettuce wrap option for sensitive/low carb folks. The customer service was wonderful as always.

It is rare to find a server who genuinely goes above and beyond, but Quin did exactly that. Solid food, friendly but haphazard service. I had the double bacon jam, which was delicious. I initially tried to order the magic mushroom, only to be told they were out of mushrooms. Other members of my party had special requests, which were mixed up. It took long enough to get our food in the first place that nobody wanted them corrected. One person ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it came out grilled. The parmesan truffle fries and hot brussels were both tasty. I'd go back--because the food was good--while hoping the chaos with the service was a one-off.

Green chili queso the most delicious thing we tasted, should really have a burger with it. Mushroom burger good but pesto did not belong... waguy smash had mucj more yummy beefy flavor than the traditional patty.

Wagyu Smash - (9/10): Enjoyed the burger, the sauce and pickles complement the wagyu’s fattiness and flavor. I consider the burger was on the smaller side for the price, but then again it is Wagyu. (I don’t know the difference flavor wise between American Wagyu or Japanese Wagyu, but I believe it is American Wagyu). Great, a bit pricey at $14. Parmesan Truffle Crispy Brussel Leaves -(9/10): I liked this a lot more than I thought. I usually don’t order these types of things, but I’m glad I did. Seasoned really well, texture is like smoked crispy seaweed. Parmesan Truffle Fries -(8/10): For those who like crispy fries, this is a great selection. It was lacking the potato flavor I think due to being cut so small. Overall, food had great flavor. Service was minimal but good. Price point a bit on the higher side for the burgers. The sides are definitely worth the portion size.

Most importantly, she officially confirmed that the Addison/Plano location will honor the Beyond Tender substitution for vegetarians with an up-charge, consistent with their other locations. She also confirmed she has communicated this directly to the management team at this branch to ensure there is no more confusion moving forward. As someone coming from Austin, I really appreciate them taking the time to fix the actual issue and value my loyalty. I’m happy to say I’ll be back for game nights! (Original Post) VEGETARIANS BEWARE - It hurts to leave a bad review for a brand I have loved and supported since my time living in Austin, but my experience at the Addison/Plano location was deeply upsetting. As a vegetarian, I’ve always appreciated Pluckers for being inclusive, yet the staff here seemed confused by my request for meat-free options. When I spoke with the manager, Marissa, she flatly refused to accommodate a request to use Beyond Chicken in an appetizer sampler, even though I always get this and simply pay an up-charge for the substitution. Being a vegetarian fan of a wing bar is hard enough; being told "no" to a simple, paid accommodation felt dismissive and lazy. Other Pluckers locations value their guests enough to make these small shifts, but this location clearly does not. To be treated like a burden instead of a loyal customer is incredibly disappointing. I expected much better from the Pluckers name.

A nice typical pluckers location. We typically enjoy sitting at the bar to avoid a wait. The bar staff we have noticed is generally more attentive in comparison to regular wait staff. We have tried regular dine in at tables and the service is always very slow, so moving forward we automatically go to the bar for a better service experience. They are busy on game days but we have never had to wait. We have never had any issues with the food and highly enjoy the wings and the buffalo hot salad. This is our go to pluckers spot locally.

I love me some wings! Came in and surprisingly, it wasn’t crazy busy. We sat down and order our drinks, our waiter got the drinks wrong but it was fine. Holy Mac was ordered and this was so good! You can’t go wrong with Holy Mac. Order 15 wings and it was a good variety with drums and wings. Tator tots were decent as well, good amount for 2 people to split. It was very crowded and wait time was around 30 minutes. The people at entrance and waiters were sweet and were able to find us place as early as possible. Ambience was good especially outdoors. But the food was too bad everything very cold. Nachos, fries were totally cold. Chicken wings were just okay. Pluckers Restaurant Review My friends and I recently went to Pluckers for a night out, and while the food itself was great, the experience overall was extremely disappointing due to the service. We were a party of five and were excited to enjoy some wings. Unfortunately, our waiter was hardly around for most of the visit, and communication was poor. At one point, we were overcharged, and when we brought it up, the manager agreed to comp our wings and provide a discount. However, we never received the extra wings we were promised, the discount was never applied, and the manager never returned to address the situation. To make matters worse, a tip was automatically added to the bill, but only half of our group was informed about it, which left us confused and frustrated. I’m not sure if that’s standard practice for a party of five, but it felt unfair and sneaky. In the end, while the food at Pluckers was tasty, the service and management left a terrible impression. It’s hard to recommend dining here when the customer experience is handled this poorly. Rating: 2/5 – Great food, but the service was unacceptable.

You know I’m not completely against pre-tipping. I mean tips was originally an acronym for To Insure Prompt Service. When I cruise I pre pay gratuities. But on a Royal Caribbean cruise the service is so GREAT I always leave more … I will NEVER AGAIN leave a tip at Hopdoddy. Man I normally come to Pluckers because they have good service. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry and at Pluckers, I was genuinely taken back by the lack of service I received by the bartender tonight. ( Female 7:40 to 8:20 pm ) From the moment I sat down, there was virtually no acknowledgment besides the order — no greeting, rarely any check-in, no effort to provide even the basics of hospitality. Me and my spouse received more service from the person covering her lunch because she was too occupied with the patrons next to us my whole visit. I know my review won’t matter but service was garbage tonight.
