This place was recommended for a good philly sandwich. It did not disappoint. It was quick and delicious. I will definitely recommend and be a regular. Great job!!
UPDATED 7.26.2024 Havnt been in a while...still the same great food and place...Like coming home and know Mom's cooking hasn't changed. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PRIMOS Love the food there. I love the atmosphere. Love the service. One of the best hole in the wall places that I've experienced in Dallas so far. Will recommend it to my guest who stay at my property.
I had lunch here with some family and ordered the Quesabirria platter & someone got the quesabirria tacos. The food was great, it took a little bit but definitely worth it. Salsa was good too. The music was a vibe & staff was really nice/cool. When I ended up getting a brownie, they asked how the food was & I found out I was actually talking with the owner. Really nice guy, didn’t catch his name but he had a genuine smile. Definitely recommend to friends and family!
The staff is professional and courteous. The food is delicious and flavorful. I had the barbacoa tacos twice and they were so delicious. The only thing missing from this place are the aguas frescas
Bacon wrapped hot dogs! Stopped in for hot dogs bc it was National Hot Dog Day and was very impressed with all the selection of hot dogs. All beef hot dogs, cost efficient, and staff was great!

No frills, but good quality food plus fast and friendly service.
This was my first time here. I went for the Barria Ramen and endowed up getting that and 2 of the Barria tacos. These are easily in my top 3 favorite taco places in Dallas. Would definitely recommend. Especially after a good night out with friends!
Food was amazing! Super friendly and quick service. The chicken rice bowl is where it's at. Great place to grab lunch if you're in a hurry.
The food and staff were great! I had the Philly hotdog and birria tacos with a rice salad and I was very happy with how great everything tasted. Great portion sizes too! Smaller location tho, and I can understand it may be a little hard to get to here. If you can make it to downtown Dallas, this is a must visit spot.

This place is about as cool as it looks - bare bones kitchen, no frills environment, quality eats. Something about hotdogs and tacos that just sounded right. The food is reasonably priced, flavourful, and nicely made. This might be my favourite little dining spot in Dallas. A “must go” for visitors.
Primo Tacos and Hotdogs in Dallas offered me a satisfying and quick lunch experience recently. I tried their birria tacos with consommé, and really liked it. While it may be considered just a "hole in the wall," I found the lack of pretension refreshing. The focus here is on the food.
Primos is a pretty good combination of Mexican American dishes placed together in a surprisingly tasty menu of meals. It’s located in the Dallas CBD area, a stones throw away from Thanksgiving Square- so you can expect some high dollar tacos and dogs but this place is worth it. The offerings definitely have a “food truck” semblance to them, almost greasy. I would say it’s man food if Google will let me say it. It’s not really set up for dining. Yes you can eat here but the chairs are high and so are the tables. It’s uncomfortable. There is no wait staff but for some reason they have the “tip” option on the order screen. I don’t get that. Without a staff serving you, by asking for a tip the restaurant is pretty much just asking you to give them more money for the food you’re about to pay for. Like I said, prices are high. The Mexican Coke is almost four dollars for a twelve ounce bottle. I wouldn’t try their brownie dessert, it’s just a tasteless loaf of questionable mouth feel. Stick with those near awesome tacos and dogs. I think you’ll be glad you did. Now this place doesn’t accept cash …so…if you’re like me and your debt free you probably don’t like to use your credit card. Credit Cards are killing you financially people! Well, I like Primos so much - I reach for my credit card.

Food is really good especially the Philly Cheesesteak and Philly Cheesesteak Hotdogs. It’s also open late (3 A.M) so if you want to run out for a late night meal there open.

Food is usually great, but always check your to-go orders! I ordered a bacon-wrapped Sonoran hotdog and they didn’t include the bacon!
Didn’t even bother to toast the bun on a Philly cheesesteak? Raw, soggy uncooked bun. A travesty that could have easily been avoided with some good attention to detail. Where the cook wit the dreads? Dude was cold wit it!

I have never left a review in my life and I’m 39 years old. But I was so angry I had to leave one. I was fresh off work, asked questions at the checkout before ordering and orders my food made the accommodations and they completely messed up my order. I get that it can be busy but just say you don’t have the product vs sneaking in something the customer didn’t request. I ordered a hot dog modified it for just ketchup there was mustard and mayo on it, I also ordered tortillas but with flour and they gave me corn. Flavoring 10/10, customer service 10/10. But if you’re gonna try this place for your own money spent verify your order before you leave and just a reminder I’m almost 40 and have never left a review so that should give precedence for how angry I was to type this message

⚠️WARNING. YOU MAY GET BUGS IN YOUR FOOD HERE. SEE PICTURE ❗ 1. They took too long to make our food. Waited an extra 20 minutes. 2. There was a fly in my rice bowl. Awful. Why are two people running a place so terribly. They need to be inspected. UPDATE 11/18: They've replied to my review and are claiming they "informed me the rice needs to be finished". This is completely false. There was NO communication about rice needing to be finished. They barely talked to me. The owners are replying to reviews and LYING to rid themselves of guilt. Please do not take any replies you see from the owner of this business seriously. Absolutely unprofessional. UPDATE #2: I called and asked for a refund. They did not give me a refund. They said "times are hard... Maybe ordering $40 worth of food at midnight is not it." I kid you not. This place is a joke, managed by someone stunted. Imagine serving a cooked fly to your customer and not even giving them their money back. I will be reporting them to Consumer Health Division - City of Dallas. I encourage others to do so too if they have a similar experience as me. They're lying again in the reply. They only offered a refund for the food we didn't eat yet. They refused to refund me for the fly-infested rice bowl I ordered. Middle schoolers could run a restaurant better.
There was so much wrong with my experience I’m not sure where to start. To start this is a self ordering place, meaning you enter your order on a tablet that is at the front counter. At the end of ordering just before you pay the system asks if you would like to add a tip. ????? I ordered the chili cheese dog. It was a $10 chili dog, there wasn’t nearly enough chili on it and I definitely didn’t see enough cheese there either. I asked the staff for more cheese the employees immediately caught an attitude and said no. After showing the amount of cheese I received on my dog then then decided to sprinkle more cheese on my food. Between the price and the unfriendly employees I will never set foot in this place and I will also proceed to strongly discourage any of my colleagues to avoid this place as a quick lunch option. Not worth the 12 min walk, not worth the $12 and not worth my lunch hour. Edit: re: to the owner who replied to my review. Yes I am absolutely sure I was in the right place in the ground level of the mosaic residential property downtown across from Thanksgiving Square. No I’m not “mad” that your kiosk ask to add a tip. I was mostly unsatisfied with the attitude of the employees when I made mention of the amount of cheese on my chili dog. Also my total came out to $12.95 my purchase included 1 chili cheese dog and 1 beverage from your location. The drink was almost $3.00 so, you do the math. Also, potential customers take note that instead of apologizing for the lack of customer satisfaction the owner choose to rebuttal and disregard my unsatisfactory experience. 😒 Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They obviously don’t care about your experience. The main highlight of this review IS The UNFRIENDLY SERVICE.

I’ve almost never had a problem with their takeout food. But, Today my food was horrible. The ground beef was overcooked and extremely hard and crunchy. When I called to inform them about it they refused to answer the phone and their mailbox is full. Please check your food before leaving their establishment. And remember Primo, If it doesn’t look good to you, it definitely won’t look good to paying customers.
Walked in never had been here before. No one said hello, welcome, how you doing. NOTHING. Pure silence. I literally said hey, how yall doing. The workers literally all looked at me and said NOTHING. RUDE. Mind you this is my first impression of the place, don’t know how to order, what’s good, what’s not, etc. lmfao I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. simply based off the unwelcoming customer service. Don’t care if the food good. Service is what makes the place. And it’s trash. 🚮 if I was the owner I would be disappointed, disgusted, and very much ready to fire everyone for this. Glad I’m not cause they would be COOKED 🤣🤣 Tell them be nice, goes a long way 🤷🏽♀️ UPDATE: Paid for limes, didn’t get them. The pictures make it seem like you getting a bigger hot dog it’s just a regular size hot dog. It’s a puppy dog 😂😂😂 NGL…. Glad I can start telling people if that ask me where NOT to go. 😮💨😮💨
Went here with some coworkers today, not my favorite place to eat. The hot dogs and toppings all looked like they were left sitting under a heat lamp all day, the consummé tasted like bland beef broth, and the cheesecake was dry. The fries weren’t bad but they looked nothing like the picture they advertise on their site.

Super cheap and VERY small portions not meant to be shared at all. Tacos are super small, that birria taco was like a jack in the box mini taco. My 4 taco platter was okay but not with the $13.
