Decent Miso Ramen A lil too much cabbage in the ramen for my taste but good overall
My wife and I were extremely impressed by Ramen Hakata. I got the spicy tonkatsu and she got the soy ramen with chicken. The broth was so creamy and rich with flavor, and had a good amount of heat, which is perfect for me. We also got the vegetarian gyoza and fried tofu. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. The service was great and prices were more than reasonable. We even considered going back a few days later, it was that good. Highly recommend!
Absolute great spot Highly enjoyed visiting. This was our first spot we visited when we got into town. The staff were all so nice! Attentive, patient and helped with making recommendations. This was my best friend's first time having ramen. She was hooked instantly. The flavors were deep, colors popped and aroma was captivating. She had a custom ramen bowl and I had the chicken yakiskba, which was so good! Highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be back again.
This food is phenomenal and has always been! I’ve been a customer for around 10 years now, and the quality—both in service and food—has remained consistently excellent. I’ve never been disappointed! I always order the spicy miso and substitute the pork with fried chicken—it’s perfect every time. The appetizers are amazing, too. Thank you all for the continued hospitality and wonderful experience!
Loved the vegetarian ramen options here! My friends and i ordered the spicy carbonara ramen, the vegetarian miso ramen and vegetarian soy ramen and we cant stop craving it ever since! Its rare for ramen spots to have multiple good vegetarian choices but this restaurant sure does! The lychee flavored house sake was also alright. The service and ambiance are also very good and would recommend it to hang out with friends and family!!
Absolutely delicious! The vegetarian gyoza stole the show—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also for the spicy edamame, which was really good! We dipped both appetizers in spicy mayo, and some other spicy sauces our waiter recommended. Which made it that much more enjoyable! I tried the vegetarian miso ramen, which featured a rich miso broth and a medley of stir-fried cabbage, onion, carrots, and corn (I opted to skip the tofu). I added some spice for an extra kick, and it was incredibly flavorful. Every bite was a delight! 10/10
visiting from California and this coleslaw sauce really caught my attention, not to mention the food is amazing!

Me & my girlfriend were looking for some Ramen and we came across this spot. It was pretty good & we would come back. Now is it the best i have had, no but it was good. I believe every Ramen bowl is made differently & each Ramen restaurant has there own approach to each dish. But again it was good & I would go back here I recommend it! Give it a try!
It was my first time here at the restaurant. I truly enjoyed the ramen. The spice level was perfect. I like that you could add additional toppings. I really didn’t care for the hot green tea. I will come back here to try other items. The service was great as well. I was seated immediately upon entering the restaurant.
Like others mentioned below, the portions are definitely lacking. I got only 2 pieces of pork with my ramen and they were so small. Service was great and the ambiance was very home-y. Honestly, wou…
Tasty! The okonomiyaki is real nice, the takoyaki are scrumptious and the teriyaki chicken plate is delicious.
Ramen is excellent and the dry noodle dishes are great! The place is clean and the service is fast. prices are ok also
It was delicious and it was my first time eating authentic Ramen. I can't wait to go back so that I can try more items.
Service was fast and friendly with food arriving after only a few minutes. I ordered a shrimp bun appetizer and a dry ramen with chashu pork. The ramen was fine, a bit sweet for me but otherwise good. The shrimp bun appetizer was not good. The bun was tough, there was way too much mayo sauce and someone decided to make it using iceberg lettuce. I can see myself trying this location again, but I'd certainly make different food choices.
Ultimately I gave this a 3 because the food promises to be something from a special 40 year old tradition, but it literally tasted like $0.35 cent ramen from Kroger. The broth was extremely plain, the egg tasted like PURE soy sauce, and the chicken tasted like frozen chicken bites heated up. It was rather disappointing. My wife also didn't like the fish/chicken broth (which isnt the restaurants fault), however 3 different people who worked there noticed she didn't touch her food, but not one asked if everything was good in any capacity. It's not terrible, but extremely generic and you can get significantly better ramen by just buying cheaper at the grocery store. On a positive, they DO offer gluten free options, and this is the only one in the area we could find that offered such. So that's good.
I was in the mood for some ramen, and this place was nearby! We had the ("grilled") vegetarian gyoza to start off. My main gripe was the gyoza tasted very oily, which overpowered the rest of the dish. Next, I ordered the hakata ramen, which is essentially a tonkotsu ramen. The broth was okay; there was some flavor, but it wasn't as deep or complex as I would've liked. They do have sesame seeds, togarashi, and spice seasoning at the tables, which I added to help in the flavor department. The soft-boiled egg was more like a medium-boiled egg; the yolk wasn't runny whatsoever. The cha shu (pork slices) seemed kind of old; either the pork fat/oil went rancid. The price wasn't too bad either, I'd say Ramen Hakata is less expensive than most other ramen places I've been at in DFW.
Main rating is accurate. Service was EXCELLENT, interior and ambiance cozy. But the food lacking a bit: noodles too firm, broth was good, egg was good, but the chashu was tough and lacked flavor. I…
I've been a customer for two years, and the broths are delicious. I always order and pick up, but I almost never check my receipt. This time was different, though. I ordered yesterday, and today I checked my receipt out of the blue and saw an extra charge for the hot sauce. Have they always charged me extra for hot sauce here without me noticing? I don't eat very spicy food, so I ask for it on the side. I don't know! I live in the area, so I'll see if I can find somewhere similar or better that sells authentic Japanese food with hot sauce included, but with customizable options and no extra charge.
I came in one hour before closing and felt really unwelcome by the comments the cooks were making towards anybody ordering very loudly. It was honestly very rude, server was very nice but the comme…

Waited 25 mins, ended up grabbing my own menu, several servers just walked past and avoided any eye contact with me. Literally cleaned tables right beside me. I liked coming to this spot alone because it's close by and always tipped good but that was enough to keep me from ever coming back again. Food isn't all that either
