Solid coffee brewing here. Incredibly friendly down-to-earth staff who really know their stuff on making a good machiatto. Definitely check out the macaroons; I'd recommend the pistachio and the raspberry options. All the drinks and food options are priced super reasonably as well. Highly recommend!!

Just love this spot. Great coffee and pastries, very helpful staff - and a nice spot to sit, chat and enjoy a cup. Folks might complain about the price - but it’s a great product!

It is always nice stopping in and getting an oat cappuccino from this spot. Baristas are so kind and professional too. My only critique is to let the staff play their own playlists. I’ve been in often enough to tell when the music is on a loop. Baristas know the cool music!

My new "local favorite" place for coffees, lattes, specialty drinks, and treats to eat. Their beans are a cut above. Espressos just tastes awesome. My favorite drink is their Gibraltar Mocha with Almond Milk.

Cafe Luxxe is a fabulous local coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. It's not inexpensive, so plan to pay between $9-$10 for a croissant and latte. Their almond croissant is on par with pastries I've enjoyed in Paris. They do not provide wifi for patrons, so this is not a place for remote work. If you're doing laundry across the street, be sure to stop by Cafe Luxxe with a book and enjoy a latte while you're waiting. Sit back, relax and enjoy your coffee. These guys serve the best caffe lattes I have had outside of Italy. In fact, every time I go there, it reminds me of when I was in Italy. The best memories of my life. The best coffee in Santa Monica.

I didn’t try them (cutting back on my carbs). This is a friendly cafe with many locals stopping in. I enjoyed the chilled vibe here. Really cool trendy crowd. Great music with minimal noise levels. Parking is limited. Street meter parking is available if you can find parking.

The Americano was appropriately dense, with a wonderful balance of acidity and bitterness. No sugar or milk needed. The baked goods are of matching quality, with scones that are fittingly dense with just a hint of sweetness. Best of all is the communal nature of the spot, with patrons eager to converse. And this, my friends, can't be bought or sold. We'll be back!

Both were excellent, the croissant especially was much better than what I’d expect from a coffee shop. It was one of my favorite chocolate croissants in recent memory. The cappuccino was also delicious, just the right amount of coffee flavor to milk. The milk art was wonderfully done. Service was efficient and friendly. The location was also very clean and modern.

The line was almost out the door (disappeared soon enough and was never long again, once I sat down). The Cafe Nico drink was more amazing than I could have imagined. Full of a perfect mix of flavors. The pastry I got was tasty, as well. It had fruit and cream cheese, with a flaky texture. Wish I could remember what it was called. Would definitely come back, especially for the coffee.

This place has a pretty interesting drink menu, but I went with a simple almond milk latte. The barista was clearly skillful and artistic from just watching her make a few drinks. My latte was excellent and the espresso is quality. They had some good looking pastries on display too. It's spacious indoors and has some seating outside too. Twas' a good place to chill and plug in.

I just stopped here today for the first time since I was shopping in the area. The ambiance was very soothing. The young man who took my order greeted me as soon as I walked up, was friendly and attentive, and asked clarifying questions of my coffee preferences. He made me the perfect Cafe Latte with oat milk. It was so rich and flavorful it felt like heaven to my tastebuds! I will definitely be back! :)

One of the tastiest vanilla lattes I’ve gotten in LA, it was strong yet creamy and the perfect sweetness. You might see a line out the door most days but it moves really quickly! Lots of street parking all around. Worth the visit.

The workers are supper attentive and nice, the ambiance is super cute and the coffee is gooood. They have a selection of pastries with one or two savoury options too.

Great espresso soda (skip the cane sugar) Multiple groups of Italians sitting drinking coffee which is always a great sign. Parking in back, read the signs carefully!

Someone please explain to me why this coffee is so good! It's like they do some kind of voodoo magic to make it supernaturally extraordinary. I dont particularly care to hang out there though. The chairs are uncomfortable and they keep it too cold. But their staff is super cool. It's good to get in and get out quick. Luckily there are other local establishments who carry Luxxe Coffee and it never disappoints.

Probably the best coffee in La. I think they use groundworks, if I'm not mistaken. They do a great job, I've never been not impressed by either my latte or my Americano. They're always very nice, but they are very expensive. There might be one or two places in the city where you can pay more for a cup of coffee, but I don't go to those.

I was appreciative that they were cool with using my reusable tumbler (as I continue on my quest to avoid disposable plastic). This chilled drink was so good, a delicious blend of coffee and chocolate!

Coffee is good, staff is great, but the only tipping options are in dollar increments on an already over priced coffee. You can’t even input a custom amount that’s lower. I worked in service for 5 years when I was younger, I understand how important tips are but this is strange.

Despite the name it's just a coffee shop with a few sandwiches and cakes. Usually vegan muffins available. Coffee is good.

The espresso is very rich, but the chocolate flavors are not distinct or memorable, and the nutty/fruity flavors don't really linger, either. If the coffee matched the ostentatious-yet-refined chic that no doubt appeals to the locals of these spots, it would be a Slam Dunk Five Stars. But, it doesn't. Amazing coffee is too elusive to just appear in a 5 dollar latte. So, Three Stars.

Starbucks with latte art. Also, they have a wide counter. When they finish preparing your cappuccino, they let it sit on their side of the counter. They make you reach way across to get your drink. Not outright rude, just arrogant. Intelligentsia has the best coffee in LA with locations in Venice, Sunset Junction and Pasadena.

I've come here a few times and always disappointed so I'm not sure why I come. I think I like the vibe and the name. Coffee is outrageously expensive for the size but is the price you pay for trendy coffee on Montana. But not great and Philz has better options. Maybe you can catch a celebrity. I think I saw a daytime soap star pass the morning away here once.

DO NOT COME HERE! On May 1st, the owners of this horrible establishment turned away customers of muslim backgrounds, stating "they don't want service from people like us." They are now actively deleting reviews on their yelp, but do not come here if you want to risk being profiled. absolutely disrespectful and horrible service. you can get coffee anywhere else. shame on you and your management Cafe Luxxe.

I had tried different latte’s mocha’s pastries etc was really never impressed. Many times I thought their coffee and pastry is subpar and tastes not good. Not fresh. Not appealing. The first sip doesn’t give you the joy of drinking coffee in the morning. But it gives you a weird taste and feeling that you wished you hadn’t spent $$$$ on their subpar coffee and pastries. Today I just happened to be near their store. I thought I give it one more shot. Waited in line patiently. When I was in line to order drink for to go I noticed a golden retriever puppy standing near a table that its owner was sitting. That puppy was cute and hyper but sweet. When finally was my turn this African American young guy with a thousand attitude in his manner of interaction and speaking asked what I want. Asked for here or to go I said to go. Then with another thousand bitter attitude and rude voice said you can’t stand here and order with a dog. My little dog was so well behaved and calm that I even forgot he was with me. He is a small clean cute well behaved mini golden doodle. Weighs only 19 Ib. He just turned 2 few days ago. What’s absurd is that I had ordered it for to go. I wasn’t going to sit there. When he told us leave. I said look there is another dog here inside your store sitting next to its owner. White his owner on computer. He said well I don’t know. So he totally discriminated against me and my quiet little puppy. After waiting in line forever I left their ugly store without a coffee. But listen up guys. This is Santa Monica. People here for most part giving out good vibes. And in the mornings lots of them are walking their pups and on the way they come to grab a coffee during their walk. If you have this much bad vibes and hate your life just take your business and go to another town. Don’t ever come back here. Why would you wake up to come to work in this area to ruin people’s mornings. Why would you discriminate in broad daylight. It wasn’t just me that her jaw dropped. Everyone at store started staring at him for his such bad people skills and rude demeanor. Guess what your coffee and pastries are garbage. Your treatment of people and your discriminatory attitude is garbage. Your prices are high for pieces of garbage. Just go away. Let another bright person rent this space with bright ideas that is not on a mission to ruin people’s mornings.
