If you're going to this place on the weekend, for a good bullfight, April 25th, or an important date at the fair, be cautious, make a reservation well in advance, you'll avoid disappointment and enjoy your day better, it's an excellent place and the service is even better, the cuts are delicious (recommendations: bife de chorizo, cowboy, New York, prime steak), the empanadas are delicious, it's the perfect place at the San Marcos National Fair to go before and after the bullfights or before entering the Palenque, the atmosphere is good and the service is much better. The best recommendations I can make are the empanadas, the provoleta, and the roasted sweetbreads. I've tried them in other places and without a doubt they are the best here. For the main course, try the cuts I already recommended, but please don't try them cooked more than 3/4 of the way through, the meat dries out and you can't really taste them. The salads are good, but the best is the chopped meat. For pasta sauces, I recommend the mushroom and pesto sauces. The Milanese Napolitana is also the best. The French fries are also good, and for dessert, my favorite is definitely the cheesecake with ice cream. I've had the opportunity to go to La Mansion, to Che Chaplin, to El Almacen, and to Sancho's ribs. Without a doubt, the service, the food, and the grill are better at Garufa.

I'd never been here before; I live in Guadalajara, and this place had always caught my eye. Honestly, it left a lot to be desired. The meat was EXTREMELY overpriced and tasteless. Very bland and of average quality. The spaghetti was flavorless. For the $960 this cut cost, I'd buy one five times better in Guadalajara. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, though. Honestly, I won't go back, especially during the Feria.

Mediocre quality standards; the dishes were very greasy, poorly presented, bland, the chicken was chewy, the roasted vegetables looked fried, and the dessert was far from a traditional tiramisu. High prices for bad food. Excellent service from waiter Christian, but terrible food.
