After having troubles with this location, everytime ive been back has been great. The foods been very timely, warm and no mistakes. Idk what changed at this location but im for it!

Another excellent experience at my favorite burger joint! The whole family went after church today, and we enjoyed every bit of it. I had the Monterrey Melt combo meal with toasted buns and added sliced jalapenos. My wife had the bacon and cheese Whataburger Jr. meal, and my daughter had the "#13" chicken strip meal. Everything was delicious and the staff went out of their way to give us the best dine-in experience. Did I mention that I love this place??

They have great friendly service. We never have trouble on the app. I never wait long for my order and our order is always correct

You cannot beat a Whataburger! Hands down the best fast food burger around. Regardless of the location the food is made to order, the taste is consistent and is always fresh. The atmosphere were as Professional as ever. The burgers and those delicious French fries were as good as ever. My spouse and I had a very good meal keep up the good works.

No one was in the drive thru...I pulled up and a girl standing there wanting to take my order..I told her I could use the speaker she said she will take my order...I told her Whataburger Jr..no onions...large unsweet tea ...she was having problems pushing her buttons on her tablet..in the meantime a car pulls up and orders on the speaker and is now ahead of me...she is still having trouble so I told her I will go ahead and get in line. When I got to the window to pay cash...the lady tells me to back up and move to line b. I told her I was paying cash and here was my money, she said no, you have to move over there...I moved forward and told the girl coming out to cancel my order...there are plenty of other places that are not this difficult. When there isn't a crowd...there should be better service and faster...seems like they wanted a traffic jam in the drive thru. Bye.

this was my first time at this location & i was very impressed. the staff was friendly & the lot is so much bigger than my whataburger where i live. the food was fresh and it came to me at a decent time. i will definitely return if i am in the area 👍🏼

If you’re looking for a delicious fast food burger, this is the place. It by far beats out any other fast food chain. I highly recommend going if you’ve never tried it. And wish that we had them in the state of Oregon.

The Patty Melt with 5" buns are heaven. Perfect meal. The Cinnamon roll is above average. But worth it.

The building is one of the original designed landmarks that made Whataburger restaurants stand out! Really enjoyed seeing this type of structure again! The food was good and the service was excellent despite the fact the place was packed. Some of the workers even helped sing ‘Happy Birthday ‘ song at a table next to us for a child. Today was a good day! Burgers were hot and made as requested and the fries were nice and crisp. Drive through was a bit on the slow side but they were super busy at the time. As long as the food is hot and made correctly and as ordered I don't mind waiting.

Wow! Didn't know that Whataburger still had these nostalgic looking locations! We welcomed the stop this memorial day weekend on our way back to San Antonio and it took me back to my childhood! Cool location and very friendly staff. Just in case you are wondering, the bathrooms are at the very front of the restaurant! Also just in case someone from corporate reads this... BRING BACK THE CHICKEN FAJITA TACO!!

Aside from HEALTH ISSUES AND PEST CONTROL there, the restuarant is great and the Staff always greets those that walk in the door. If theres any trouble the manager on duty likes to handle them making sure we were satisfied with the order that day. Best WB in town! The newer building obviously is nicer looking

The checker was great explaining things, as this was our first time to the restaurant. The Dr. Pepper Malts we're excellent. The chicken sandwich was juicy, the burgers were dry. The hot ketchup was good

I was so excited when the free meal offer came to my app. I have been sick for a week with little appetite and no will to cook. Whataburger gave me an offer that was needed because I also had not gotten paid. Thank you so much for all your offers and BOGO deals. No one does it like Whataburger.

they used to always forget the ketchup but lately the orders have been spot on. would be nice if when two meals are ordered each meal is bagged separately rather than 2 fries in one bag and two burgers in the other which is just silly..

Whataburger is a great fast food restaurant that serves a variety of burger and chicken meals. The servings are quite large compared to other restaurants which means more bang for your buck. During the day they tend to serve customers rapidly, although, I went at around midnight and the service was quite slow. It took about 20 minutes for our meal to come out but other than that the food was great.

Whataburger is my go-to place no matter where I am in Texas! Delicious food! This location’s food was great! Savory and juicy burger and the fries were wonderful too. The service on the evening of 28 Nov 2023 was not the best, however. They were super busy in the drive through, but the lobby line was empty. None of the non-front workers greeted, acknowledged I was standing there, or tried to alert the front lady for about 30-45 seconds, which isn’t normal for Whataburger. But once the front lady, who was helping drive-thru, saw me there she quickly took my order with a friendly smile. The drink machine, which didn’t have an automatic ice maker, was out of ice, so we waited there for about 5 minutes for them to refill. Then another 5 minutes for the food to be ready. Overall it was clean and well kept, but they were just slammed that night. The above is just a note for management.

I haven't been impressed by Whataburger in a long time. I had actually forgotten how good they could be. This location reminded me. Very good burger. I hope they continue cooking as good as they did on my visit. I've been to both locations on 2 separate occasions within 2 weeks of 1 another. This 1 made me eat slowly. The other 1 I don't remember at all.

Roy was great when he took our order. He was very friendly and helpful. I've never been to this location but it was pleasant. The food took longer than usual but I was there during lunch hour so I expected it. The food was the same as at any other location. I ordered onion rings with my grilled chicken sandwich. They were freshly made and excellent.

The wait time was ridiculous. Others were coming and going and there we sat until we were the only vehicle...and we still sat. The food quality was soso, not what is expected from such an icon.

The staff was great & the place was clean but the burger was somewhat the meat was cold & the cheese wasn't even melted but I still ate my food.

It's ok. The food is almost never hot and fresh when we get it. And the last few times the food comes out inconsistent. It needs a little help.

Service was nice and food was tasty however I would like to suggest that you use a different sausage for the gravy. Something that gives a more sausage taste. You can taste how packaged the gravy mix is and the small bits they use for meat are kind Of suspect

The food was good and so was the service. The only problem was I misplaced my phone and when I realized it was more than likely at Wendy's, they were already closed. I called at 10:30 a.m. the time they open, and apparently no one had turned in a phone. I continued looking for it until the next day I received a call that they had found my phone. I am grateful that I got it back, but two days later. Smh

Some how they can never get the order right. I didn't know a simple burger with only cheese mayo and ketchup (nothing else) was so hard to do. But at least their patties have actual flavor.

I don't go to this Whataburger often and now I remember why. Most times my order is wrong. On the off chance it's actually what I've ordered it shows up burnt or just disgusting. Last time I ordered strawberry milkshake. They brought me a cup with a little bit of ice cream with a bunch of thick pink syrup on top and syrup was all down both sides of the cup. Completely unacceptable and they should know that. Bathrooms filthy and door didn't lock. Tons of fun!

The atmosphere is very family- friendly. Depending on service the food can be great. The service definitely can use work. I placed a phone order and was told it would be ready for pick up within 10 minutes. I can understand if it got busy right after placing the order but upon pulling up to the speaker we were not informed of a longer wait and were asked to go into the parking space number 1. It then took an additional 30 or so minutes just to get cashed out. It took a second phone call to get some sort of attention. I would definitely recommend HWY 77 more than the 14th street location. Sorry guys.

Ordered on app for curbside pickup, food was ok but a bit on cold side as took about 10 minutes after i got there for it to come out, was 15 minutes behind what expected time was on app. lots of people working so figured would be better. food was good though just not hot and fresh like normal.

Burger was fresh but had barely any sauce and little to no grilled onions when I asked for XTRA. It was busy, but that is no excuse for cutting corners. I had the SSBB.

Honest review, this Whataburger needs an update on something or inspections. Burgers are tasting and feeling weird and bad, I am a Whataburger fan, but this location has never filled my expectation. The food is usually cold, missing sauces and meat tasted bad.

Location just feels dirty. Lots of flys in the dining area. Was slow at the time and the service was not typical of a Whataburger restaurant. Only Whataburger in the area so no choice unless you try a local burger place, which I recommend you do.

A cashier was being very rude and yelling really loud as one of the new ataff members mixed up the order, which was unacceptable. She was being very loud talking in general and rude to some customers.

I've ordered from here about three times using the drive-thru, and have had to pull-up to the waiting curb every time; so this review will be for all three occasions combined. One would hope the food would be fresh if they had to wait longer than usual, but it wasn't. The food was lukewarm, including the fries. Whataburger fries are delicious when they're fresh (love them with spicy ketchup), but I will throw them away if they aren't. My burgers were warm, slightly smashed, and dry. I order for each visit was a double-meat Whataburger meal, patties and cheese only, and a Coke. It seems like an easy (and quick) order, and it usually is at other locations, but this location obviously operates under different standards.

Curbside orders take long. Ordered 3 BOBs and coffee's on the app and it said to be there 10:15-10:18, we didn't get our order until 10:42 but only because we called them to let them know we had been waiting. Bobs were good, but the iced coffee was mainly cream and no coffee. We had to add coffee when we got home.

Ordered food for my grandmother. My mom and my little girl and myself on Mother's Day. Cashier had a slight Attitude with a swell ordering seemed like she didn't want to be there. Once we've received our food They forgot my mom's once we finally I got her food.The order was wrong.We were mostly done eating before she got to get hers. Was really disappointed How far the service has fallen at the store.

Food is great, but the customer service isn't to great. No one acknowledges you when you arrive, it's not because they are shorthanded. I had to greet the manager for her to acknowledge me in return and she seemed to irritated when I did. I asked her for her name which it was Alexis. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

By far the worst Whataburger I've been too in many years. One order wrong, but corrected. But, even with the correction the burger wasn't hot. Mine and my company's sandwich was cold. Buns not warm, toasted, room temp or anything. Friesnlooked to be re-fried. Temp was just ok. No one wants to complain because the fear of tampering. So we ate and left. Will definitely pick a different place to eat next time in Kingsville

I came for a simple double meat no cheese and Crispy bacon and got wet stringy bacon. plus, my fries were cold and when I took it back no one asked can I remake that for you and get you fresh fries..they took the bacon and forgot to give it to me till my burger got cold. I always have problems here. I'd rather make the trip to hwy 77 Whataburger.

Stupidly decided to come here for the first time in over two years (there was a cockroach in my food). Not only did they forget to give me my drink, as always, their food was undercooked. My dog didn't even want the fries, she spit them out and stared at them with a confused, disgusted look on her face. Don't waste your time and risk your health here, go to the Whataburger on highway 77 instead.

Cold food. Takes a lifetime to come out. I waited for 30 minutes for a burger and when it finally came out it was cold and not appetizing. Never eating at this Whataburger again. I do like the other Whataburger on General Cabazos Ave though. Just unfortunately this one is the closest to my home.

Burgers were wrapped as usual...but what was not usual was.....the rather young and boisterous staff had way, overfilled the burgers with sauce. The buns were soaked inside and out, and all the way around. Very messy. The fries were still white....not even slightly golden brown. On leaving....one staff member yelled out a departure greeting....that was clearly designed to frighten patrons. It worked.....just as patrons opened the door to leave.....he shouted and startled each one....as the other staff giggled with delight. I've never experienced this behavior before at Whataburger. I'm usually a patient person but 30 minute wait when I ordered curbside is Hella long time. Specially when I have hungry kids in the backseat that's why I ordered ahead. I'm usually pleased with this place but not today. 😩

Cold fries probably 7/10 times, food is a hit and miss. If you want fresh fries you have to “ask for them” 2 years later, still waiting over 20 min. on the order and food is COLD! Not sure what the wait was for?? HORIBBLE!

All I had ordered were two small shakes, two fries and an apple pie and it took 30 minutes for it to all come out. The worker forgot my fries and then proceeded to forget my apple pie as well. Unbelievable. Maybe the worst Whataburger in the districts, should have driven to the one on 77 instead.

Flies and bugs everywhere restrooms were extremely dirty flies all over the food and counters employees were so rude if there were zero stars I would give it a -10

They stated my order was still being prepared, after 20 minutes I approached to question if my order was almost ready, the employee said he couldn't find it and that I was probably at the wrong restaurant. He went to look for it again and after a bit he returns with my order and states someone had placed it in a warmer and he didn't know why. No apology or offer to replace the soggy food. 👎👎👎

I am from out of town and I am disappointed with this small town whataburger. I ordered online for pick up. I ordered a bacon balze jalapeño double. I ordered extra jalapeno cream cheese and no jalapenos. I got no cream cheese, and I got jalapenos. Needless to say, my burger tasted plain without the cream cheese and afterremovingthe jalapenosi did not order. I paid over $14 for my meal alone for it to not be what I wanted. Maybe I should have just gone to McDonald's :(

I have literally never had worse service at any food restaurant ever in my life. I waited over 35 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries and 2 drinks. The dr.pepper shake was melted and spoiled and the sweet tea was very bitter. Im never coming here again. I cant even begin to understand how this whataburger could ever pass a health inspection.

The place was the 2nd Whataburger ever and it's so sad that the services has gone downhill so much. That's what happen when you let Chicago companies buy you out.

This behavior was not only unacceptable, but it also profoundly upset me as a customer and as a fellow human being. Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately struck by the eerie silence that pervaded the room. The atmosphere was so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. The employees appeared visibly exhausted and unhappy. I initially attributed this to a potential decline in service quality, but the subsequent events provided a clearer understanding of the situation. A customer called to report missing items in their order. The employee who answered the call promptly sought the assistance of his manager. Elizabeth, upon taking over the call, immediately absolved herself of any responsibility, blaming the employees for the error in the order. As the conversation progressed, she continued to belittle her staff, implying their incompetence and disassociating herself from their actions. It is worth noting that Elizabeth continued to disparage her employees even after ending the call. 1. Individuals in leadership roles should exhibit a degree of accountability when their team commits errors. As a manager, you are responsible for your team, and there are more constructive ways to handle such situations. 2. Leading through intimidation is counterproductive. Dehumanizing your employees will not enhance productivity or service quality. 3. Holding a managerial position does not automatically make you a leader. This review is a testament to your lack of awareness and understanding of effective leadership. 4. The managing partner of this establishment should be deeply concerned about the poor management practices being employed. In light of today's events, I have decided to withdraw my patronage from this establishment moving forward. 5. While customers are indeed vital to your organization, it is your ground-level staff who make your operations possible. It is crucial to remember this, as the display of "power" exhibited by the manager was entirely unacceptable. 6. When your team commits errors, view it as an opportunity for coaching and development, rather than a cause for reprimand. This approach not only builds confidence among your staff but also enhances their contribution to the overall customer experience. I will also be submitting a complaint to your corporate office with a more detailed account of the events that occurred. NO ONE should be treated in such a manner.

Horrible. Waiting 14 minutes for onion rings. They take 4 to cook. My burger was cold because the fry girl can't multi task at all. Manager is hiding in the back so she doesn't have to face the wreck that has happened to the cashier area. You could probably train animals to function better than that team. I think you would have to go out of your way to be that bad at your jobs!

They must hire the dumbest, slowest people. Doesnt matter how busy or what shift/time it is. The food will take twice, sometimes 3 times as long as needed, and there's a 50/50 that something is wrong with it. I cant stand it when I forget my previous experiences and accidentally go there. Its instant regret. Save yourself a headache and go to the one on the highway.

Terrible. 7 a.m. ordered a sausage biscuit and sausage gravy to go. Specified that it was going to be my breakfast. They packed it like a soup and sandwich but without any eating utensils at all. When I brought that to the attention of the person at the front desk, they essentially argued with me that, no that's not breakfast. If you wanted it as breakfast you needed to order a biscuit and gravy.
