I stopped in for a coffee break. I read the reviews first. Some said the service wasn't the fastest. I sat outside and, not being in a hurry, waited over 5 minutes. But other than that, the young people are very friendly, which makes up for the wait. I asked for a lightly sweetened iced coffee, and it arrived exactly as I wanted, quickly. The price was reasonable, and the place was very nice inside. This is a place I can recommend and will definitely return to. Better, in my opinion, than other places on Via Maestra. Thanks guys.

We're staying in Alba for three nights; breakfast here first morning, and we'll be back in the next few days! The cappuccino and cream croissant were superb, with a lovely puff pastry. My husband had another sweet treat and a smoothie that unfortunately wasn't quite right... a sort of juice with mixed fruits that he showed us in a bottle and then simply poured into a glass (€4). Everything else was delicious, and the atmosphere was historic and refined! The layout is lovely, without the traditional counter, but with homemade cakes and small trays of pastries that give it a homey feel!

The bar was half empty, so I asked for a platter with two glasses of wine. They didn't even bring a menu with prices: in the end, we paid €10 for a glass of wine whose price we didn't know and €18 for a mini platter that arrived 25 minutes late (the wine had almost run out by then and we kept asking) without even napkins or forks/toothpicks. The cured meats, cheeses, and wine were good, but it's a shame we had to eat with our hands like animals, and they didn't even bring us napkins to clean our hands. The service definitely needs improvement (and the tables were almost all empty; I can't imagine what happens when they're all full!)

Way too slow and disorganized. We told them we had 20 mins, sat down, ordered, waited, watched people that arrived after us get served first. After 20 mins we left with NO service to our appointment.

I don't know what to say as I got seated at a table and waited 30 minutes and didn't get served, while others did, the waiters never even looked my way again, so I left!
