Great little place for delicious pastries and other baked goods. Their eclairs are my favorite!
Haven’t found a better tiramisu in NYC
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Fabulous service and staff, they may get a bit tired by the end of the day so please understand...Owners are very friendly and ALL are ALWAYS welcome!! Their pastries are to die for. Baker M is always coming up with new and tasty treats.....
Excellent cappuccino every time. Wonderful variety of delicious pastries, pies and sandwiches. Nice people.
One of my favorite bakery spots in New York. One of the few that I know that has savory pastry. I love their spinach and feta rolls. So yummy. Also great choices on desserts!
Very impressed with the blueberry muffin. Extremely fresh and light for a muffin. Just had the bagel with pastrami salmon. I did avocado instead of cream cheese. It’s very very good and they don’t skimp on the salmon!
AMAZING BAKERY NEAR MY JOB, THEIR CAKES, HOT CHOCOLATE, STRAWBERRY & MANGO FRAPPES AND OTHER BAKED GOODS ARE AMAZING. EVERYTHING IS FRESH. THE ONLY BAKERY I WOULD GO TO IN RIDGEWOOD. THE OWNERS ARE SUPER NICE, ACCOMMODATING, IF YOU REQUEST A CERTAIN TYPE OF MILK FOR YOUR DRINKS SHE WILL GO OUT HER WAY TO FIND IT, VERY OPEN MINDED !!
Where can I start ? Their baked goods are just devine; from their pastries, to their croissants, to their cakes, I mean everything is so tastey and has a unique taste. The owner and the husband which is the baker are really nice people even to their hard working staff. I always recommend people to The Nest if they're looking to enjoy a cup of coffee with a sweet treat. They even serve breakfast sandwiches! 5/5
Amazing ! I got my wedding cake from here it was a great price and tasted beyond delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I also love their almond croissant and coffee!
Good pastries, coffee and friendly service. Brownie and chocolate mousse cake 10/10
Delicious desserts and pastries!!! Everything is always fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced! Decor is gorgeous and the place is always clean! But the best of all, service is always friendly, an amazing neighborhood bakery!!
Great pastries and friendly service. The spinach&feta pastry is so fluffy and comforting.
I just love absolutely delicious cakes, with an unforgettable taste ,very clean ,pleasant place with professional staff,I have tried all the cookies throughout the years and they are one of best.My family and I we are the biggest fun of this bakery.
Small but attractive place their baked goods are just the right size and yummy Emmett let me just mention they have all types of coffee for coffee lovers like my wife
Always a great place to relax and chill out with a sweet treat and a cappuccino made to perfection.
Love this place. It's cozy and welcoming. That's what i want when sitting down for a coffee. The decor is done well. Not like so many coffee places that look so cold, like lunch cafeterias. The pastries are wonderful and the cakes are beautiful. Really lovely.
Superior- quality! A gem in Ridgewood! Love the deco, I had a little chat with the owner. I had the Nutella croissant and it was fresh, delicious, perfect taste. The pastries are baked in the coffee shop! Cozy and elegant with a few seats, extremely clean, peaceful environment! Can't wait to try their espresso drinks.
I love sitting in this beautiful cafe with the warm fireplace and cute decor. The beautiful coffee cups and delicious hot chocolate is fantastic. The costs are fair from $1 for a regular coffee to $4 for a decadent savory sandwich or biscuit. The owner is really sweet and the staff are so kind.
I’ve been coming here for a long time but never left a review! I’ve never bought a bad pastry or dessert from here- they are that good. Today, I bought a cake for my partner’s birthday! It was a mango/vanilla cake and you can tell they make their cakes with quality in mind- it was a light and refreshing cake, perfect for a summer birthday. Thank you so much!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Came with my husband for a little date lunch, Alexa helped us pick out some great pastries and recommended the Lemon Chicken Soup. Paired with the Garlicky Feta Danish was chef kiss. Her coffee was better than the Starbucks across the street and $2 for coffee is a PLUS. My husband got a chocolate croissant and ate it right up. We got a pie to go as well. Seating is limited to 3 table (2-3 chairs each), a bar seating that seats 3. We love the fireplace they have on, such a cozy vibe.
This is a cute little shop with both delicious looking and tasting pastries. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a place with a great atmosphere and food. I didn’t get a coffee based drink but they definitely made the shop smell good!
Went for some sweet treats with my wife and end up with a really good dessert. I tried the pistachio eclair and my wife bought a brownie; both were delicious and the coffee was fresh. The place has good seating area and the attention and the atmosphere is good. We’ll be back.
I love this place! Quality desserts and very nice presentation. Love their lattes as well! Highly recommend this place for your sweet cravings.
I love this quaint spot located near a place I shop. Went in for some hot chocolate but left with a few sweet treats. The apple crumble, macarons, brownies (peanut free), chocolate eclair and a lemon loaf, so many more. Whole pies and cakes are just some of the dessert that you will find here. There are a few seat inside if you have time to spare for a spot of tea. I'll be back 🎉🎉🎉 thank you and very nice customer service.
This is a beautiful place to have a coffee with someone you love. The owner is so kind and the traditional European treats are amazing.
Great coffee and dessert spot on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood! Nice breakfast and lunch selections too! Friendly service!
Great taste of bakery and coffee. Best cappuccino in this area. Nice decoration and atmosphere.
Their employees are super sweet and polite! Lovely pastries and cosy cafe. I love their cheesecake and croissants.
I got one cake yesterday, first time, it was very fresh and very tasty. I will buy more in the future. Thank you!

While I wouldn't recommend the coffee, the baked goods are pretty good. The cakes are also good quality and the decor is really well put.
I think this place is a staple on fresh pond road. The service is always friendly and warm. The pastries are top notch. Coffee is yummy too. I will say that my fifth star is about the cakes and the ease to which you order them. The quality and taste are always exceptional as with the convenience to which to order it. Thank you guys for always providing me with superior service and deliciousness.
I’ve been coming here weekly for over a year and highly recommend this bakery. I usually get a plain and a chocolate almond croissant and they are very good. Ham egg and cheese croissant is good too and tastes homemade. I’ve tried some tarts and mini pies too and was very pleased. Their seasonal decor is always warm and inviting (reminds me of a bakery in a hallmark movie😊). Oh and the staff is always nice too!

Excellent sweets. Wow. Really delicious baked goods. A big step up from the competition. Skip Dunkin - And go here! Nice friendly staff too!
Met with three friends for some coffee I got a chai latte and it was delicious. Everyone seemed to like their beverages as well. My friend got a cheesecake and my other friend got a Madeline. There’s not a lot of seating we were at a table of four, the table next to us with a table of three and there was about three seats along the high top counteragainst the wall. Most people take their items to go. The menu items do not encompass everything that they can make and the prices. My chai latte was $4 and change.

I've been here for the individual pastries and they were good so I decided to get a cake from here for my husbands bday it looked beautiful but it sucked tasted days old and dry. It was 25$ for a small cake. never again
I want to give this place a good review because I’ve mostly had a good experience!!! but I just ate a cream puff that tasted like the fridge :( was not fresh. Too bad cause I feel they have pretty nice stuff but this was legit gross
Ordered a birthday cake for my birthday and the cake really was really not the best tasting cake. The happy birthday sign looked like it was written by 4 year old and the outside was over sweetened horribly and the icing was very hard and just not edible. Not what I asked for definitely. I Do not recommend ordering custom made cakes there or any cakes for any occasion.
Good place to stop in for a coffee or beans, and maybe to get some work done, but that’s about it. We’ve been multiple times and have tried the danishes, croissants, cookies, and other sweets but they don’t compare to other bakeries close by.

I threw up after consuming their desserts I guess it wasn’t for me since it was extremely sweet that made me nauseated but the place is nice
Needed a place to meet a coworkers we picked this cute little shop to talk, I was going to order a coffee until the server basically told us we HAD to order. That turned me off. I don't tell customers at my store that they HAVE to buy stuff or leave. Too bad, it's right near my house I actually would have come back because it was a cute place. But I'm not down for a cafe making me feel uncomfortable to be there. I've never been kicked out of Starbucks 🤷🏼♀️ figured I'd give a smaller business a chance, won't make mistake here again.
The younger woman who works at The Nest is efficient and polite. The older women, however, seem to prioritize conversation with each other over customer service. I waited several minutes today while the two servers talked before one acknowledged me. She only made excuses about ignoring me, never an apology. The desserts and drinks are fine. But, if you want to be treated well, cross the street and go to The Cute Cat Cafe. They always are friendly and polite.
Rude and pricey This place has an unfriendly consumer service. The older women is only friendly to some of the “European looking” costumers. She complains if you ask for the freshly bake goods and give you looks . the price for the cakes and most pastries is overpriced.
Can't remember a good experience from this place. One time I bought some amadina cakes and they were put in a box to go. I got home 10-15 mins later to find they're frozen! Another time I was waiting in the car outside while my friend was picking up some goodies, and she came back telling me how annoyed the lady got because she was in a bit of a hurry (mind you, she wasn't impatient or demanding that she wanted everything right away, the lady asked her if "your friend outside is always this impatient and obnoxious").
They have several signs advertising breakfast from 8am-1pm. When I went at 11 I was told the oven was off.
Extremely rude service, for no reason whatsoever. Would never go back, would not recommend.
My husband and I went here and were always polite to the service workers especially since we both worked in the industry. There was some sort of miscommunication and when I ordered the girl heard that I said 2 of the same drinks but we didn’t we wanted 2 different so after she made them I noticed she made 2 of the same and I told her very kindly “oh he wanted an ice coffee” and she glared at me so rudely and said “you both said you wanted the same” and she said it multiple times and I kept apologizing over and over and when I said “he would like an ice coffee” she again said “you told me you wanted the same coffee, don’t make me crazy” and proceeded to make his ice coffee… by the end of it all I sat at the table not wanting the tart that I was so excited to get or the coffee we ordered and cried.. I will never come here again. She was so so rude
I am very disappointed with the service I received today. As regular customers who visit almost every day, I expected a bit of understanding and kindness. I came with my baby in a stroller, but the bartender told me to leave the stroller outside and carry the baby in my hands. This was both inconvenient and unnecessary, especially since we’ve never had an issue before. The unfriendly attitude was surprising and disheartening. Loyal customers deserve better treatment.
The cakes were pretty tasty, and the latte was very good, but the scone was a letdown - super dry. Sadly, the service left a lot to be desired. The lady at the counter wasn't exactly welcoming to my husband and me. She rushed us, insisting we had to order pronto because she was "closing soon", even pushing to-go cups on us since she figured we wouldn't finish in time. Funny thing is, we did stay past the “supposed” closing time, and she stayed open with folks still walking in. It felt pretty lousy, to be honest. She never once managed a smile at us but was all grins and friendliness to folks who looked European. If that's not a clear sign of racism, I don't know what is. I Grabbed her card with the intention of leaving this clear review. If they prefer a certain type of customer, they should just say so upfront in a sign by the doorway. I won't be bringing my business here again or let anyone else I know get treated poorly by someone who obviously lacks common decency. Clearly she has no respect. I stayed because I didn’t want to spoil the day for my husband, who was just trying to give us a nice treat. Honestly, don't bother with this place unless you fit their preferred look - seems you're not welcome otherwise! She should also remember she is in ridgewood (a melting pot), not on the upper east side. Perhaps this business should consider relocating.
I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for months, visiting regularly during my pregnancy and after the birth of my daughter. However, I’m extremely disappointed by how I was treated today. After nearly three months of frequent visits, they suddenly informed me that the stroller isn’t allowed! I understand the need for policies, but the timing and lack of communication before now is frustrating. It’s disheartening to feel unwelcome after supporting this place for so long. Very disappointed.
