We recently had a group from Philadelphia in town for an NLL lacrosse game between the Wings and Firewolves, and couldn't have picked a better spot than Albany Stadium Restaurant & Bar, especially for its convenient location right next to the Arena. From the beginning, the staff made everything easy. Wendi set us up with dedicated space for our group of 70+, while Lindsey gave us several food options to choose from, which made coordinating our pre-game gathering a breeze. When we arrived for the event, the staff continued to impress. Our bartenders/servers, Emma and Alexa, were amazing. They were friendly, efficient, and made sure everyone had everything they needed. The atmosphere was fun, and our group had a blast. After the trip everyone in our group remarked how great the pre-game event was, and we look forward to the next time we’re in town!
Cool place. Really busy, but the restaurant adjusted and made our food quickly and made it well. Service was good too. Enjoyed ourselves.

The food was terrific, staff and GM was extremely nice. I will gladly order from there again and probably have a business lunch or two there as well. While I feel the price a little high (maybe a $1-4), there are shortages everywhere so it's not unreasonable. We are all on hard times and to open a restaurant right now you have to give them a round of applause. I hope everyone in the community can give them many years of success.
Food is great!! I went on a Thursday night as it was getting busy as the night went on there was only ONE bartender name tee. She worked hard all night long ALONE and continued to be professional during the busy times and make everyone’s drink! I will definitely be back, especially if she is there!
Came up from Philly to support the Wings. They provided us with our own area on the second floor and were super awesome! Great food, service and atmosphere! They even helped surprise two girls in our group with cakes for their birthdays! Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!
Is there 6 stars for service? The young ladies that took care of us were incredible. I was with the Philadelphia Wings Fan Club and, althoyht we list, you guys made the whole night worthwhile. Thanks for a great time.
We worked with ASR for a special event that was being held at MVP and Lindsay was amazing. The whole team went above and beyond to help create a space and environment that was perfect for our attendees. Lindsay is a true rockstar and will bend over backwards to make your event a success. I recommend them 100% and would love to work with them again.

This is a super convenient location to eat at when you’re going to an event at the arena. The really stretching was you can’t have fries here on an event night due to the fryer size. Hello by another fryer. The waitress was awesome and put up with our group with too many teenagers. Food was like a diner. Nothing to write home about but decent. Personally I had the burger and had to send it back as it was way overcooked. The waitress made it right without a fuss and it was good it just need to be seasoned. Overall I would go back.
Located in Albany, NY, Albany Stadium Restaurant combines a sports bar vibe with family-friendly dining. Vibrant and decorated with sports memorabilia. Multiple large screens for game viewing. Comfortable seating for various group sizes. My sorority had a beautiful buffet style dinner. I was particularly impressed but the bar service was next level. The young lady served, made drinks and took care of clearing the tables. She made Valentine’s Day extra special for us. Please tell her thank you 🩷

Recently visited prior to the Albany Cup basketball game. Place was very busy, but staff did their best to keep up and keep things going smoothly. Seats near the Pearl St entrance were cold due to weather intrusion from front door. We ran into issues with multiple items being unavailable (beers and food) because they were out. Black bean burger was awesome!
The food was good. They were supposed to be running a drink special prior to the Firewolves game and we got there 2.5 hours before the game (4-4:30pm). We were a party of 6. They said they had one left. It was disappointing but we dealt with it obviously. Ordered diff drinks, got them, and were never asked again if we wanted more drinks. They completely forgot the 2 apps we ordered. They brought out the 2 kids meals first which was fine (even though that wasn't discussed/requested). One of them was missing bacon which we requested - again dealt with that. Then brought out 3/4 adult meals and completely forgot the 4th. Everyone was done eating by the time that came. Not sure if it was kitchen, servers, bartenders or combo of all. When we first got there, there were only 3 tables, So......... 😒

Service was very slow, and it wasn't busy. Used to get great food but not this time. Their chips were soft and tasted like fry oil. No seasoning at all. Lettuce that came with the burger orders was rotten. Lifted up a chip, and found a chicken wing underneath it. Definitely has gone downhill. We will dine elsewhere from now on.
I have visited Albany Stadium Restaurant & Bar multiple times, each hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, my recent visits have been consistently disappointing. The staff is mostly friendly, but the prolonged wait times for food are unacceptable, especially given the location within MVP Arena, where people are on tight schedules before events. During my visits, I also saw several patrons being ignored, which only added to the frustration. It’s clear that this place could benefit from better preparation to handle the MVP Arena crowd, where quick service should be a priority. On my last visit, I was left waiting so long that I seriously considered bailing due to time constraints. I had to leave without tipping because the service was much slower than other food options within the arena. Given these recurring issues, I can only rate Albany Stadium Restaurant & Bar 2 out of 5 stars. While the staff is generally courteous, the slow service, long wait times, and lack of attention to customers outweigh the positives. I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the experience for future patrons.
What an absolute joke. Came on a Friday night before a Siena game. Got there at least two hours before tip off, so was not especially busy. Ordered a spinach salad with grilled chicken. $15 A minute after ordering the waiter returns. Sorry, they're out of spinach, would other greens be okay? Okay, fine. Not sure how someone blew that so badly. It's Friday and you have an event. Who screwed up the order? And if you screwed it up so bad, why didn't someone run to Restaurant Depot and grab a bag of spinach? But fine, things happen. I'm in food service, so I let it slide. Comes back again, no feta, they only have American and Cheddar. Gross. Who wants a spinach salad with either of those? Fine. Whatever. I just need to get my food so I can keep to my schedule. Waiter apologizes and says, "I'll take care of it for you." As I mentioned, I work in food service. In my experience, when a kitchen messes up that badly, I comp the food, or offer free dessert with a smaller discount on the affected dish. That is not what happened. No free dessert. Meal wasn't comped. For failing to have half the items of the dish, they took off two dollars from the bill. TWO DOLLARS. How pathetically cheap can you be? If I didn't have my kid with me and a schedule to keep, I would have made a bigger deal about it. But safe to say I won't go here for food again.
It is very clear that all the food is precooked prior to large MVP Arena Events and heated up in a convection oven or microwave. This would be fine if My Burger and Chips was not $18 and cooked medium well (which to me is a dry burger) If You want to avoid Arena Food try a walk up North Pearl Street

This place has awful service. My mother and I waited 45 minutes for some water. My mother also didn’t want any cheese on her burger and our waiter said she wasn’t sure if she can do that because the kitchen wasn’t allowing any modifications. Such a bummer. The bartender also put a disgusting lime on the rim of my margarita. I will never eat here ever again or recommend this place to anyone!

Went there before a show because it was convenient. Only food available were burgers, a wrap & maybe a salad. $15.00 for a crappy burger & some potato chips. They didn't offer any other sides. You can get a better at McDonalds for less money. There were 4 of us & with drinks the bill came to $178! I get that we were paying for drinks but 2 of us were only drinking beer & they were flat. That was our first and last visit to this place! Don't waste your money. There are far better places to go in the area.
I walked into this restaurant bar before a concert. The hostess put me at a table right next to the door where I got bumped into multiple times by entering guests. No waiter bothered to serve me at all. I moved a chair to the bar area and they told me that I couldn’t sit there and after some hesitation acted like I didn’t even exist while I waited to get served. That was the breaking point, I just left the restaurant to eat at the nearby pizza place instead. Very poor service was offered by the staff, so I don’t recommend eating here.
Our dinner was terrible. They ran out of hamburgers, only had fried food available, table was dirty that we were seated, horrible bourbon choices and women’s bathroom was filthy. My wife had a (2) margaritas at $14 each. The first one was twice the size of the second at the same price and tasted watered down. They ran out of ranch as well and the garlic Parmesan wings had zero flavor. It was so bad - don’t eat here.
