This place is INCREDIBLE! Such beautiful and delicious donuts with unique flavors and kind staff. My favorite was the crème brûlée donut with custard filling and rose petals on top - I miss custard so much since going dairy free and this one rocks. Need to come back to try more flavors. The hot cinnamon roll with sweet potato in it was also super super good. Run don’t walk, vegan or not.

As someone allergic to dairy, I’m always sad to miss out on regular desserts. Which is why I was so excited to try Cloudy Donuts.. and it lived up to my expectations!! The owners were very nice and helpful in making recommendations. We tried the brown butter macadamia cookie doughnut and the sweet potato pound cake. This did not taste vegan in any way. Both had great textures and balance of flavors. Can’t wait to try more another time!

The Best Donuts!!! A must try in NYC. This might be my favorite donut shop in North America. Beautiful shop, incredible service and a wonderful assortment of flavors. They have approx 50 flavors that they rotate though (8 or so every weekend). The warm cinnamon roll was actually my favorite, so soft and a perfect balance of sweetness. Love that they have smaller size donuts so you can try multiple flavors without filling up. 100% vegan. Some had nuts on top, but where clearly marked.

The donuts was very soft and fluffy. I tried 3 different donuts. The chia cinnamon, cotton candy, and the powdered donut. I definitely will recommend this place to friends and family. The location is beautiful. Best vegan donuts 🍩 in nyc.

I’ve finally experienced Cloudy Donut(s)Boy oh boy what a treat…pun intended! I just made the store before closing(all the while praying they didn’t sell out for the day)I was warmly greeted by the store associate as if it wasn’t 3 minutes before closing. The space was adorable, having big letter ballon’s spelling the word Dream & “Donut stop believing is brilliantly sweet. Given the beautiful back story of the company, intentional messaging for customers to read is truly appreciated. I’m elated to share Cloudy Donuts is definitely worth all the hype! These artistically crafted gourmet donuts are truly well thought out and with every bite it’s clear as day love is in the ingredient’s. I had the a s’mores, ginger peach, balsamic fig & two other flavors I’m still fantasizing about. I don’t think people really grasp/understand what it takes to make something that usually has gluten, eggs, milk, soy & more in it & create something entirely delicious with real health conscious ingredients. I’m thrilled for the future of this company, not only are they opening another location in Manhattan, they also support/showcase other creative chefs of color through their “The Brown Collective” initiative. Further cultivating the future of community & unique health conscious dining of delectable donuts. Absolutely can’t wait to visit again for their new flavors!!

Let me tell you - uh what a delight!! I had a nice afternoon in Brooklyn but my main goal was to come here! My cousins and I went all out and order $80 worth of donuts and I do not regret one dollar I spent! We purchased everyone donut available- we did go a little late so not much available but it didn’t matter because what we did get was so delicious! One item that I have not been able to enjoy has been a cinnamon roll due to not being able to have dairy. I took one bite of that roll, I nearly cried. Would come back everyday if I could!!!!

Absolutely Devine donuts. This BK location is just big enough to offer some of best vegan donuts around. Menus alternate weekly so becareful choosing a fave. I had the maple pecan donut and the butter pecan cinnamon rolls. Large & mini sized. Vegan where. The donut had the light fluffiness of a cloud for real. Some people might miss the ultra processed sugar you would intake from Cinabon but this is where it’s at. Middle rolls are best! It’s better for you and tastes good. No flavor missing at all. Two kids walking in front of me asked the nanny if they could stop by. I highly recommend Cloudy Donuts to the believers of healthy eating and the non-believers. Don’t play yourself!

Great donuts! It was our first time, so the worker gave us one free donut! I give only 4 stars because they're a bit expensive, but still, I recommend it!

A bit overpriced for the quality. The cookies and cream donut does not have filling, so is a bit flavorless. I prefer Dunwell donuts in East Williamsburg for a vegan treat.

This store is adjacent to two coffee shops on a chic Brooklyn Heights block. I picked up a cinnamon roll. All products are vegan and the store vibe is clean. The cinnamon roll itself was sadly quite dry. I am not sure how 11$ is a justifiable price for such a product. Their sample donut too was dry. The level of sweetness however was quite right, not cloying. Staff was friendly and full marks for service. I would ask the bakers to modify recipes to make the goods moist and soft, so as to align with the premium price tags!

I've heard of Cloudy Donut and finally decided to visit after a recent collab with another local bakery. Upon arriving I was surprised at the limited donut options and wondered if I had shown up on an off day or maybe they were still baking their goodies? (It was a Saturday morning) To me, it didn't seem as if they had a wide selection of doughnuts nor did I see any other pastries that I've seen pictured in other reviews. The donuts were delicately decorated, but quite mini. I didn't feel that the quality of the donut made up for its size. The establishment is spacious and clean, but they do not offer any indoor seating. However, there are a table or two outside.

I’m sorry but these were so bad😭 I’ve had better vegan donuts from DOUGH on Vanderbilt ave. I got two cinnamon rolls, and both tasted mostly of dough and vegan margarine with a literal sprinkle of cinnamon. I got a Cookie Monster donut for my 5 year old and he didn’t even like it. I’ve attatched a photo of the inside of the cinnamon roll to show how much of a dry disappointment it was. You know something isn’t great, when eating it only makes you yearn for a pastry from another bakery.
