love love love this pizza spot!! its absolutely delicious pizza and their vegan caesar salad is a musttt i always have to go back for it. the vibes are also immaculate inside, its so easy to fall in love with this place especially cause its black owned and pro pali too!

Solid NYC slice. One of the most difficult parts about planning a four day trip to New York City is the limited number of meals you can fit in in the trip. There are never enough meals in the day or days on the trip to try everything you want. Scott was on our shortlist and I am definitely glad we made it here for a true authentic New York slice. Seating was limited so we ended up grabbing our slices and eating them outside instead, but considering how busy they were the whole time they did a good job at cranking out the slices and keeping weight times down to a minimum. definitely glad we kept this on our list and I’m glad we had a chance to try it. I can see what the hype is all about and if you are considering coming here for a great slice, you will not be disappointed.

A top slice pizza option near Chinatown/ SoHo. Loved the vodka pesto slice! Great service and easy to grab a piece! Crispy crust with a fair and peso combination that was juicy and decadent. Loved it!

Accidentally tumbled in because I was nearby - turned out to be an amazing experience. Delicious, large, and affordable slices with a fun vibe inside with hip hop music playing and a retro diner vibe interior. The honey jalapeño pepperoni was amazing and the slices are so big that 1 would be enough for most people. Highly recommend checking this spot out.

In A Nutshell: -Scarr's is a nice representation of a NY pizza. -I enjoyed 4 different slices of their cheese, pepperoni, Margherita & hot boy pizzas. -I loved the taste of each of these, especially the burnt crust. Overall, paired w/ a couple of ice cold Bronx Pils, this was a lovely combo on a cold, autumn evening.

When I tell you this place has great pizza, it has GREAT pizza. I especially recommend the Hot Honey pizza. The vibes were so cool especially around 11 PM. Service was quick and staff were very personable. We had a great time, music selection was elite and everyone inside are super friendly. I would most definitely recommend this pizza joint!

This pizza was pretty excellent, and the classic embodiment of what you think of as a 'New York slice' I got the beef pepperoni as my NY-style slice, and the mushroom as the Sicilian-style slice here They were both very good, but I'll start with the NY slice first What was the most noticeable here was how good the crust was. It was very cracker-like, maybe the most cooked undercarriage I've seen on pizza, without being burnt. It perfectly exemplifies the term "well-charred". I thought I preferred softer crusts to harder ones, but after having had this slice, it's definitely the opposite for me - once I realized how good a crust like this could be. Aside from the crust, the rest of this slice was also fantastic. The blend of cheese and sauce on the top tastes great, especially those bits where you see the browned cheese on top. The pepperoni was also super consistent; basically every piece was able to curl up into a cup on top The Sicilian style pizza was also nice. The dough was way more airy and softer here, but it worked as a different type of pizza. The part that I liked slightly less was that it was a bit sloppy as not all the toppings stayed on throughout, and I preferred the level of cook in the other slice, but the softer taste was a nice change of pace. For the price, each slice cost me around $5, which is not *super* cheap, but when you consider that these are a) meat/special slices and b) quite large, I will take that deal Overall, if people ask me where to find a great New York-style slice, this will be the first place I point to. 9/10

Scarr’s Pizza in the Lower East Side definitely lives up to the hype. The pizza has a really nice char on the crust not too soggy, not too firm just that perfect NYC balance. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. There can be a bit of a wait, but the line moves quickly and is worth it once you get your slice. The only small downside is that they don’t have fountain soda, which is kind of a New York pizzeria staple. The seating area looks nice, but I chose not to sit because there was quite a bit of smoke in the dining room coming from the ovens. Overall, great pizza and worth the stop if you’re in the area just maybe grab your slice to go.

I came for a quick bite for lunch. I sat at the bar and ordered a slice of the mushroom pizza. I enjoyed the thicker crust and flavor of the sauce. The pizza shop is quaint and has a good atmosphere. The service is always quick and they are nice. I would recommend stopping there for a slice of pizza. Also, the prices are reasonable.

Great classic NY slice. Good crispy, crust, and undercarriage. Sauce amount is good but lacks a bit flavor I think. price is good too. A must have if you are in the area.

With anything in NYC, be prepared for a wait at this popular pizza spot in the city. They sell ny the slice, which is nice when you don’t feel like having a whole pie. Be prepared for a longer wait if you want to sit in dining service. Tried a slice of the Original and HotBoi, both great flavors. Only issue with the pizza is that they were floppier that I normally like, but great cheese and crust flavor on the original, and great mixture of sweet and savory flavor on the hotboi. Staff were friendly and efficient without making customers feel rushed out.

Very good pizza. When we walked in and sat down they brought us some bread. Figured it was an appetizer type situation, like chips & salsa or bread. Turns out it was just a different tables order. Other than that little mix up it was good. Great pizza. Atmosphere was cozy. Hot boi pizza was delicious.

Got a Margherita slice and a plain. Chill dude at the counter. Got music on, he was just vibing. There’s inside seating but I got mine to go. The Margherita slice had flavor. Pizzas were delicious and what I expected from NY pizza with the nice crust. The plain slice was perfect but the hot slice was a bit greasy/soggy that the dough tore apart a bit when I lifted it. Service was quick since I went for lunch. However, they assumed I wanted a medium size beer when I wanted the small glass. Also, this restaurant has changed since the last time I went. It's been a while. Now, you either order takeout or dine in with waiter service. Back then, you can just order at the counter and eat it inside without waiter service. It is awkward that to dine in a pizza joint that comes with waiter service, though it is also unfeasible to do takeout during the winter, yet they serve the pizza slices on paper plates. Some restaurants should not be waiter service. Feels like they just want to make a few extra dollars making it waiter service so that more people will give tip money. It should be the old format: order standing up, get your slices of pizza, sit at a table without waiter service, finish in 5 minutes and leave. It's so awkward to have this kind of environment at a pizza joint.
