Go for the reviews - leave shaking your head saying “those reviews were on-point”. The only annoying part, and not worth deducting even 1/4 of a star, is the pushy “ we need your entire order right away because everything is made to order” jargon. They do it to speed you along as you can’t get your apps until you order your main meal. But even with that and not having a reserved table ready on time - this place is 100% worthy of ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
“The food was amazing from start to finish — easily a 10 out of 10. I honestly can’t stop talking about it. The service was just as impressive, and I’ll definitely be going back.”
Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Georgie knows what he is doing back in that kitchen. His staff is super attentive, informative and kind. We were greeted with a smile and they never left a dirty or empty dish on our table. The grandmas chicken is off the charts. The steak was fantastic. We also had baked clams and fried calamari with peppers. Everything was unbelievable. I will be coming here weekly from now on!
Da Giorgio’s – A Hidden Gem of Italian Excellence in New Rochelle! Walking into Da Giorgio in New Rochelle feels like stepping through a portal straight to Southern Italy. Tucked unassumingly in a modest strip mall on Quaker Ridge Road, this small, cozy restaurant immediately wraps you in warmth and old-world charm. It’s intimate — seating just about 45 guests — making it feel like you’ve been personally invited into Chef Giorgio’s own kitchen. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish at Da Giorgio’s bursts with authenticity and passion, a direct reflection of Chef Giorgio Giacinto’s Calabrian roots and formal training in Italy. You can taste the dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients in every bite. We started our meal with their Stuffed Meatball Calabrese, a hearty masterpiece packed with beef, veal, pork, and oozing with house-made mozzarella. It was rich, tender, and seasoned to perfection. For the pasta course, the Squid Ink Spaghetti with Crab was a showstopper — the handmade pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sweet crab meat married beautifully with the deep, briny flavor of the squid ink. A must-try! Then came the Rigatoni Da Giorgio, featuring luscious filet mignon cubes bathing in a decadent cognac sauce. The flavors were bold yet refined, and the portion generous without being overwhelming. Specials change daily based on what’s freshest, and judging by the perfection of every plate, I have no doubt you could close your eyes and pick anything off the menu and leave thrilled. Service at Da Giorgio is equally spectacular. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food they’re serving. You can feel the pride they have in the restaurant — and they’re quick to offer fantastic wine pairings and recommend house favorites. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming — candlelit tables, soft Italian music in the background, and an inviting, unpretentious atmosphere that lets the food be the true star of the evening. In short: Da Giorgio is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic, soulful Italian dining experience. It’s the kind of restaurant where you savor every bite and start planning your next visit before you even leave the table. Make a reservation — because once you eat here, you’ll understand why it’s become a local legend.
We visited for the first time tonight and it was great! The food was excellent as well as the service! We had their special which was a huge chicken parm with 3 sauces! Jarrod was our server and he was excellent! Very friendly and attentive! We cannot wait to go back!
Not so hidden Gem Very Very Good Highly recommend Enjoy
Michelle was our server. Very friendly and efficient. Food was outstanding. We started with special mixed seafood in 2 large clam shells. Dining partner had softshell crab (2) over linguini and he said it was the best softshell crab prep he ever had. I had Chilean Sea Bass in a lobster bisque sauce with sweet potato crust over spinach. Finished the meal with tartufo. Rich dark chocolate shell. The chef has a flare for bringing out flavors with his combinations.
Had an amazing Birthday dinner here tonight with the family. From the food to the staff and service everything was exceptional. A nice small spot where you can enjoy a beautiful relaxing dinner. For appetizers we tried the Fried calamari and Clams Oreganata. Both of which were great. For dinner we all tried different specials and everybody was very happy with their dish. I personally enjoyed their “Chicken Granda” which I was very much looking forward to. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! The chicken cutlet was done perfectly, the cheese was incredibly fresh and all of the sauces were delicious. Would definitely order this dish again. I had a side of their penne vodka with my dish as well and must say their pasta tastes exceptional! I believe it is made in house so that makes sense. Would love to try one of their pasta entrees in the future. Thanks again for the wonderful night! Me and my family can’t wait to come back.
By far one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Great food and excellent service. This place is my new favorite restaurant in town. I highly recommend the squid ink pasta with crab.
Wow just wow, that’s all I have to say after dining at this establishment. The food literally was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. My boyfriend and I went very last minute this week to grab a late dinner, and they were able to fit us in. They had great specials that the server read over to us and upon entering, the charming ambience was breathtaking. For reference, we began the meal by sharing the calamari appetizer and a burrata with fruit special (I forgot the exact details.) Both were wonderful and the calamari was cooked to perfection, it did not taste rubbery in any shape or form and was served with a delicious dipping sauce. We also ordered the linguine Vongole and the special which was a linguine dish with shrimp. I had the linguine Vongole and it was wonderful. It was for sure the best pasta I’ve had in awhile and the amount of clams that were plated was honestly astonishing and very tasty. The pieces of garlic throughout the dish was very pleasing also and it wasn’t too oily or anything. My boyfriends dish, the pasta special with shrimp, I didn’t try but he mentioned it was even better than mine that I loved. He told me it also had a nice kick of spice to it. Next time we’ll make sure to stay for dessert! Overall, great experience and we are already planning our next reservation to come back within the next 2 weeks and try other menu items, such as the ricotta toast appetizer. The service was also great and staff was very attentive, kind, and welcoming. We even made small talk before being seated and were checked up on frequently. Charming location and here’s some further tips for those dining at this establishment: -consider ordering one of the specials and feel free to ask the server for assistance/recommendations- they’re willing to help -keep in mind the locations seating is limited and to try to make reservations -there’s a small fee for those using debit/credit, compared to cash -pair your dinner with a glass of wine- I highly recommended the Riesling which went well with the pasta -there’s parking in the strip mall so you can conveniently park right outside
Went here w/ some friends and the italian is great. The stuffed clams, eggplant burrata and the main squid linquini were all delicious. Very nice little spot. Make sure u make reservations since it fills up quick.
My boyfriend and I drove 2 hours to have dinner here for his birthday after we saw a tiktok video featuring this restaurant. The staff was SO nice, friendly, and accommodating. Cute and cozy atmosphere! The food was so good we would 100% take the trip again !!
I was so impressed with this restaurant! My family and I had the most delish meal, service couldn’t have been kinder and overall fantastic experience. Food was fresh and massive portions. Server was kind as could be I HIGHLY recommend trying it out, will not disappoint

Warm, fresh rolls were the complementary bread. Chicken parmesan had a thin, tender cutlet with a quality cheese on top that did not overwhelm the dish. Good portion size. Parking was easily available.
Went last night because we heard great things. Very solid gourmet Calabrian restaurant. Definitely go if you want to take your time and enjoy excellent food. We will be back.
If you want authentic Italian food cooked to perfection and an amazing atmosphere, this is the place to go!! My favorite place to eat. I could eat this food every single day
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THIS PLACE!! After a long international flight into JFK and driving back to Boston with hungry kids, I stumbled on Da Giorgio, and it changed everything. The restaurant was packed but we were seated in minutes, surrounded by people talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves. Our waiter was attentive, dinner started with fresh homemade baked bread and churned butter. Everything looked handpicked, fresh that day, and every dish was outstanding. My wife’s seafood fra diavolo was the best she’s ever had, my kids devoured their pasta, and my spaghetti and meatballs were so good I had to admit (sorry Mom in heaven), even though I'd get slapped for saying, they were the best I’ve ever tasted. The chef even came out to greet guests.. a rare and special touch. I’ll be stopping here every trip into the City, and I can’t wait to dive deeper and deeper into the extensive and authentic menu. Truly amazing!
My go to Italian restaurant, their food is as good as it is in Italy. Just unbelievably fresh & delicious no matter what the order is, every time !
The food is unbelievable. I will compare The food there with any other Italian restaurant or for that matter any restaurant around. Chef George takes pride in every meal that comes out of that kitchen.

This unassuming restaurant in a strip mall is serving up some of the best Italian food Westchester has to offer. Chef Giorgio is obviously a perfectionist, because the food is incredible, but it takes a little bit to come out. It’s well worth the wait though, just grab another glass of wine and your patience will be rewarded. We’ll be back soon! Try the octopus carpaccio if available.
I loved the food and impeccable service at Da Giorgio. It’s a small restaurant (make reservations!!!), so acoustics are not the greatest. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is high. Overall, the experience was great and I plan to visit again.
First time tonight trying out after seeing it on instagram and it was great! The food was ok the service was great They brought out some nice warm bread and a Eggplant Caponata We started with a Caesar salad and the Meatball appetizers The salad was good but disappointing I asked for more dressing then normal and it was barely put on you really couldn’t taste it so disappointed Hope next time it’s done right ! The meatball was good Their special which was the Granda Chicken Parm with 3 sauces it was good but not I’ve got to order it again good wasn’t worth the price it was served with a Vodka Sauce Rigatoni ! Jarrod was our server and he was excellent! Very friendly and attentive! In fact all the staff were great. We are still going back to try other food just hope you get the ceaser dressing right

This review hurts to write because the food is delicious but the service not the best. The first time I went to Da Giorgio it was a great experience even met the owner very nice guy . But upon my recent visit I arrived to the restaurant and there were only two tables taken the rest was completely empty , the host I believe or waitress was looking at a piece of paper and was basically trying to tell us it was full and no more seats available but the way she went about it didn’t show any efforts to helping , she was more judging us by looks. thanks to a young man victor that kept emphasizing to her that table 1 and 5 canceled so there is room and because of him we got a seat. We then sat down and ordered a bottle of wine The bottle I initially ordered was not available so they just brought a different one out and just opened it did not even ask if I was ok with that .. Ok moving forward to my entree. I love to eat and try different menu items and the first time I went I was read the special menu of the day which I ordered from and it was delicious!! I believe the first time I went my waiter was victor or the gentleman with the Yankee tattoo . But this time I was not even informed about it , I was told to order what’s on the regular menu. The crazy part was that the rude lady that did not want to sit us down , she has a Bob cut and is an older lady. Once the table next to us sat down .. oohhhhh she read the special menu with so much love and emphasized everything on the menu I was just like wow that sounds good I would’ve loved to hear that, my waiter was a older gentleman he was a nice guy but just not the best waiter he needs more training and actually offering the special menu …. I felt judged and not welcomed.. hope the owner reads this because it sucks such a great chef will lose customers due to lack of service or just nice personal. Being the person I am yes I still tipped my waiter 20% but I went out my way and gave victor a cash tip and the gentleman with the Yankee tat a tip because they were really nice and helped me actually get a seat and the service they gave me was really nice and genuine and I saw victor read the menu to another table and did it for me the first time I went Hope this review finds well , I won’t be going back
