Pretty good selection, prices are low, lots of indoor games like connect 4 and pool as well as cornhole, during the summer it’s full of older alumni but it pops off during the school year.

I can't say it's great, but they do specialize in two things: Burgers and Beer. And lemme tell ya, their burgers are fantastic. So far, best burger in Alfred.

Really fun, great bar selection! But SO packed on 10/28/2017 you couldn't even move, making it less than fun and very uncomfortable. Other than that, great experience!

As one of the only 2 spots in Alfred that one in the age range of a college student they do fairly well. The wide array of drinks available, the fantastic service, and of course CORNHOLE are all amenities that can be expected any day you decide to stop by to wet your beaks. Cheers 🍻

i would love if the old man in the booth played something other that the same 12 songs every weekend. its getting so boring. would be 10/10 if just pressed shuffle on some 2000s songs every once and a while. UPDATE: they are now iding for the 18 and up line so be prepared.

I went to gentlemen Jim’s the other night and was not allowed in because I am not from an Alfred college. Although I am over the required age to enter. Also I heard from a friend that they let a 16 year old in a few nights ago and served her and had to carry her out of the building where they left her. Terrible place.

Literally the worst music in any bar/club Ive ever been to. The old man that djs every single night has no business doing so. I swear he has only ever heard 20 songs in his life and has decided thats all there is. But its not all bad, every month or so he takes a list of the top ten hits, blindfolds himself and throws a dart to pick a new song to play non stop.

Awful service the India girls sucks she was super rude and out of line, they cut up my REAL ID that was mine when I had other verification that it was me, they water down there drinks and put 99% soda and ice in there drinks. Would not recomend

A close friend was asulted by a bouncer during a misunderstanding. Had an awful experience and will not be coming back to this location.

If you wanna hangout with underage drinkers, Gentlemen Jim’s is the place to go. Amazing how they haven’t been shut down already.
