We saw the reviews and were nearby so we decided to give it a shot as I love to frequent Mom and Pop owned stores. Felipe recommended the fresh yellow tuna and it did not disappoint! We also had shrimp ceviche and they were both incredible! Don’t blink because you will miss it walking by, but it is worth finding it a few blocks off the main road.

We had an excellent time here! It’s so good we came back again and again. By far the best and most authentic food we had in PV. Felipe is so friendly and makes all the food fresh to order. We highly recommend the land and sea burger, it was the best burger we’ve ever had. Add avocado or pineapple or some of Felipe’s house-made hot sauces or chili oil! The aguachile and ceviche tostadas were also delicious!

Wow!!! Amazing ask Felipe what is the freshest and definitely order that - the quality & taste is next level ! His salsa macha is the best I’ve ever had! Everything we ordered was amazing- the place is very simple and not fancy in any way but don’t let that distract you all food is made to order and not as good as you would get at a fancy restaurant- Felipe knows how to create the nest flavor combinations & is a genuine & friendly person!

An amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip! We ordered the aguachile shrimp and tuna plates with black salsa and both were so delicious. The plates come with tostadas and were plenty of food for two people. The fish is all freshly caught in PV. We loved talking to and getting to know Felipe while we watched him prepare the dishes from scratch. He runs the restaurant out of the bottom of his family home where he’s lived all his life. There’s no restroom on the ground floor but he let us use his home’s upstairs. A must try and we will return if we come back to PV!

We had the tuna and shrimp ceviche which were both beyond our expectations, portion sizes were very generous and Felipe's homemade chili sauce was amazing. He was so happy to serve us and chat with us even through our broken Spanish. What a great experience all around. Would highly recommend!

Felipe is great! Food is amazing!!! 10/10 recommend! My husband and I are happy we found this place. We had the tuna sashimi pictured above and the aguachile in black sauce. You can tell his recipes are his passion. Will definitely make an effort to return not only during my current trip but in my further trips as well.

Lovely hole in the wall. Felipe was kind and so happy to be making the food for us. His son was there helping as well. We enjoyed a Marlin ceviche (not on the menu) that he whipped up for us ! So Delicious. Generous portion and good price. His homemade chili sauce was also amazing. The tostadas were yummy even without anything in them. highly recommend this spot!!

Family owned and delicious aguachiles. Felipe’s specialty is tuna, you have to try it! We got a mix of aguachiles and tuna. SO GOOD! His salsa are also made by himself and give your tostadas a nice kick 😋 Felipe is also a genuine guy and sweet to chat with. He tells you some of the special places Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

The owner is such a great person and you can feel that he is so proud of his food and the quality of ingredients! Also, I got food poisoning a couple of days ago in Mexico city so I was really hesitant to try any raw dishes. I'm glad I did it and tried Felipe's ceviche!! The ceviche was made by fresh fishes and it was so good that we ordered a second plate right after finishing the first!! This little hidden gem deserves to be noticed by more people! We will come back again and again!

Felipe makes everything fresh right there in front of you. He is a great cook and a passionate fisherman. He told us he had an accident back in 2015 during fishing that left him with problems with his vision. He went through a lot of hardship during his life but has managed to always smile and keep his positive energy. Strongly recommend this place. Fresh fish. Ask for some of his home made salsas! They’re incredible

Felipe was so welcoming and sweet! The ceviche was the best I have had anywhere. He has lots of different hot sauces to offer, many homemade. I never leave reviews, but had to for this place!!

The best ceviche in Puerto Vallarta! Felipe is so kind and you can see how passionate he is about cooking. A super fun experience for me and my friends :)
